I discovered my 87 year old mom required an emergency bathroom renovation. Since there is only one bathroom in the house, mom would be displaced and move in with my sister, and since I live in Pennsylvania, I would stay in a hotel, during the reconstruction. First I had to identify a builder who could do a quality job quickly. I did an internet search and found American Home Remodeling. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and the person I spoke to gave them an A rating. My sister checked on Angie's list and they too gave American Home Remodeling an A rating. This was one of the best calls I ever made. I spoke with Dan, the owner, and he met me, at my convenience, at my Mom's house. He went into the basement and inspected the floor under the bathroom. He confimed that the bathroom had to be gutted, and the sub floor beams had to be replaced. I explained the urgency to Dan. Dan gave me a start date and committed to having the project done in 2 weeks! Dan also explained that I needed to order all required bathroom items and have them in by the time they needed them during construction. He recommended I order all items from one place, and that his workers would pick them up and bring them to Moms home when they were delivered to the store. I signed the contract. Omar and his assistant, both skilled workers, arrived on the date and at the time that Dan committed to. I wanted to give them both coffee, but my moms coffee maker was not working. The next day, Omar brought ME coffee! The bathroom was complete in 2 weeks and it is beautiful! Mom was in tears when she saw it. Mom said she never thought she would own something so beautiful! Omar was very eager to please, and he also happens to be a very good person. We spoke on weekends, and once at 6 AM. Omar worked with me on maximizing space and he made a custom cabinet. Omar cleaned up when done, and he removed all trash. Workers were timely and communicated well. It was a pleasure working with all those involved in this project. I have already highly recommended American Home Remodeling to several family members and friends. Brian Bender

I asked for a simple estimate on siding. The owner ?? came out and I guess he didn't appreciate my wife's questions because it has now been two months since he showed up at our house and he last promised an estimate on July 13, 2019. Not sure what the issue is but this is certainly not good customer service. Maybe he didn't think we are able to pay but he is totally wrong.

American Home Remodeling did an amazing job! We had the original cedar shakes and clapboard completely stripped from our home's exterior. AHR then had blown-in insulation installed, new Alside Cape Cod vinyl siding installed, replaced the surface of back deck with new composite decking and railings, and a new front door was also installed. It feels like a brand new home! John Fiore was our point of contact, and he was very professional, listened to what we wanted to achieve with this renovation, and executed our vision without issue. The end result has exceeded our expectations! John visited us consistently throughout the project to ensure that we were happy and they were meeting expectations. In addition, all of the workers were very professional and courteous. If they had any questions, they came to us and asked before proceeding to the next step. Overall, this project could not have been completed any smoother! We would definitely recommend American Home Remodeling, and plan on using them again in the future.

USE THIS COMPANY!! LOOK NO FURTHER! First off I want to say the whole process was seamless and easy, which is a breath of fresh air from my past contracting experiences. John my sales rep was on time, professional, knowledgable, honest, and respectful of my tight budget. From our initial impression with John we knew he cared about our needs and wants but also suggested ideas to accommodate our layout for our kitchen better. We ended up contracting AHR to complete our kitchen, siding, and roof replacement. Our initial meeting my husband and I already gave John the job to work with us because we felt so comfortable with him. For a project that can take several weeks it was important to us that we hired someone who we can talk to easily and John was that person for us. Any slight issues that arose during the work, John quickly rectified it with his on site foreman. It really amazed my husband and I how on the ball John was with his clients. His was ALWAYS available via phone or email. I can't say enough good things about John and this company. Save your time and have these guys visit you house , you with NOT be disappointed. Thank you John and American Home Remodeling for making my kitchen, siding, and roof everything I could have asked for and more. We will be using this company again for other projects.

They listen to your needs and make helpful recommendations. Vic gave us great advice. We re-did our master bathroom in our 80 year old home. The tile work was exceptional. In fact, the shower door installer commented on how perfectly straight the tiles were laid, something he rarely sees in older homes. Definitely recommend this company.

I recently used American Home Remodeling for a new roof. I was told when I signed the contract that American Home Remodeling will contract-out, which I was told they use the same guys all the time. Dan from American Home Remodeling said he would come out to my house when the work is being done. I was giving a quote for up to five boards but they only came with one board to my house. American Home Remodeling gave the job to do my roof to a company called Scale Renovations (company from Queens). The guys that came here for my roof was just putting roof shingles on and not replacing any boards. Once I noticed they were not doing the job right. I was told they were only hired to put the shingles on and no replacement. When I called Dan from American Home Remolding he called the guy he hired and they replaced only one board due to only having one board at the location. The crew used did not clean up well at all. I spent my whole day picking up nails. I was told it would be a one day job and that the company hired by American Home Remodeling would bring extra staff. Scale Renovations came with only four guys. After speaking to an employee of Scale Renovations I was told they do roofs but they mostly do interior work in houses. At this time the job was completed and I am hoping I don't have any problems in the future. Dan from American Home Remodeling was really nice to us, I live in Westchester and I can't recommend them to any friends.

This review is way overdue as our bathroom was renovated last year by American Home Remodeling. All I have to say is wow. This was our first experience in using a contractor, so we were very nervous and not sure what to expect. American home remodeling definitely exceeded our expectations. We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Ahmed (sp?) did an awesome job along with his assistant (I forget his name, sorry) , they were very attentive to detail. Dan was always responsive to our calls and if we ever had concerns (which did not happen often), he always made sure to fix them. They were honest and reasonable which is hard to find in a contractor from what I hear! We have a few more projects that we will need completed in the very near future and definitely will be using them again! Thanks guys! We LOVE our new bathroom!

We hired American Home to do a complete remodel of our Kitchen and a partial remodel of our basement after meeting several other contractors. These renovations were very important to us as we had never done any major renovations this costly so we wanted to make sure we hired the right people for the job. We could tell there was a difference with American Home as we felt very comfortable with George right away and they were by far the most responsive by providing an estimate within a few days. As we continued to get more detail the difference became even more apparent with the excellent communication and responsiveness. They were very willing to work with us on price and make sure we stayed within a budget we were comfortable with and made sense for both parties. Once we proceeded we become even more comfortable as they helped guide us in picking out materials etc and were extremely patient along the way. The actual workers were extremely friendly, dedicated, and detail oriented. They worked hard along with George to make sure we were happy every step of the way. We ran into a few minor issues like any project would but George did a great job finding solutions and guiding us through to make sure we were happy. There were also some specific things we asked for like using reclaimed wood and other non-standard design choices that they accommodated us on which we very much appreciatd. They also worked extremely fast and stayed within the timeframe initially given which was impressive and difficult because of Christmas and the holidays. The office staff was also extremely friendly and willing to assist with anything we needed. The end result came out beautiful and even better than we imagined so we were extremely happy. We can’t thank American Home enough and I would definitely highly recommend they be considered for any remodeling needs. Their dedication to customer service and a quality end product is excellent and something that is getting harder to find these days.
