I never write reviews online, but I was so happy with the way this company conducted themselves I felt I had to share. My husband and I hired American Construction to replace our windows and install a bay window in the living room. Their prices were great. They did an amazing job and everyone we dealt with was exceptionally friendly and professional. My 4-year-old son keeps asking when "the funny window guys" are coming back! I highly recommend them.

Getting Outdoors

I needed a new roof. Not familiar with modern roofing systems I did what anyone else would do- I grabbed the first guy I cam across. I got a quote and decided ,let me get another quote just to be able to compare apples to apples. What I found was that the more people I called the more information I got and not all of it was equal. It wasn't until I called American Construction- which I found via facebook. Chris the owner took as much time over the phone to answer my extensive questions and were the only Contractor to go up in my attack and inspect the condition of the roof decking. I immediately saw their value and booked right away. From the beginning the guys and gals of this company have been extremely professional. It was refreshing to have been taken care of through out the process. A very big thank you to Chris, Greg, Jake, Joe, Molly and the rest of the team that did my roof and windows.

I noticed someone doing siding and windows on a neighbors house watched them for a few days they were always courteous and kept the job site neat and tidy they even swept the sidewalks and curbs. Was very impressed with their work and asked my neighbor if they were satisfied with their work they said they were very nice and the job was excellent. My journey began in late Jan. on a whim......I've been in my home for 20 years. My windows had to be 40+ years old. I called 3 different contractors. Once I read the reviews for American Construction I immediately cancelled the other 2 appts. From start to finish, the undivided attention is incomparable. I knew what I didn't want to spend and Greg (sales consultant) was kind in understanding. Also, my only option was a Saturday for installation. The job got put off 3 or 4 times due to weather. Greg stayed in touch consistently. Finally my install took place this weekend 3/3. Dominic & John could not have been more polite, courteous, and friendly. These guys showed up right on time and busted their asses all day. (9 windows) I never even heard them speaking to each other. It was just hustle, hustle!! No breaks, No lunch. Greg & Joe (foreman) showed up later in the afternoon. They hung out till job was complete. They did a walk thru with me. Any little items I may have found...they corrected. They will not leave until you are completely satisfied!! I had noticed some caulking that needed to be done, in addition I noticed my slider not working properly. Dominic stopped what he was doing and addressed that situation and corrected it. Couldn't be more pleased with my new windows or the professional & courteous service. 5 STAR HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Excellent jobs from project mangers to installation crews to office admin assistant. Very pleased and satisfied during the whole process. They are upfront and straight talks about the pricing. The window products they provided are excellent. Minor thing to suggest: providing more choices/pricing/quality points for patio doors. Little bit disappointing on the Metal Industries patio door I have installed. They are not cheap but I have some concerns on its design and manufacturing qualities. However, American Construction has no control on this but installer could push much hard to manufacturer for quality and values or drop their products. Overall, I would highly recommend American Construction and likely will ask them again for future needs.

From the time we met the guys at the Philadelphia Home Show, to the time of our in home visit quote to install, the whole entire process to replace 10 windows and a new front door that seemed so stressful to plan together was made so simple by this crew! Greg our Sales agent who walked us step by step, picking and suggesting everything possible to make sure what we wanted happen. Our project manager Dave was TOP NOTCH! We recently attended the home show in our area knowing that new windows for our home were on our radar. Our home was built just less than 20 years ago however, the only issue with our home was the quality and installation of the builder grade windows. There were a number of window companies at the show. All were fast to say how great and cheaper they were. From the moment we met Greg, Joe and the others from American Construction at the home show, we just knew they were different. These guys just were extremely knowledgeable on the quality and construction of windows. It was about educating us not selling us as the others were all about. Besides American Construction being a smaller company, they made us feel very comfortable with their hands-on approach; having personal contact with the people we met who would oversee the process with us and ultimately keeping our needs in mind. We had set an appointment with American Construction along with one other company. There was no comparison! I was convinced that the product we chose - triple ply windows throughout our home were superior plus the craftsmanship and most important its efficiency made these windows excel over other windows we had looked at. We were also impressed with the features like beveled window grids, metal window lifts and a better security lock system. We do know that the installation is as important as the windows you choose. I watched how they insulated and installed these windows and even replaced the wood in and around the windows to make it perfect! There were no corners cut here. The crew at our house the day of the installation were truly professional and you could see they knew their work. They were masters at their craft. The energy we are now using to heat our home has definitely been cut down substantially and the drafts that we were experiencing before are nonexistent! And best of all the windows look beautiful! The installers even reinstalled our plantation shutters around our new windows beautifully! They even repaired a piece of capping around our garage door! American Construction’s personal service was over and above! The impeccable quality of their product and installation process was nothing short of perfection! Great group of people to deal with. I received a few other quotes on my front door and sliding glass door, as well as some of the upstairs windows. American Construction really stood out in terms of product quality and overall professionalism. They showed up early for the consultation and really "wow"ed us with their presentation of the product line. I've never been so impressed with a home remodeling company. After 22 years in the same home, many of the windows needed to be replaced. I was worried I would not be able to find a good contractor and be left with a mess. Boy was I wrong! The job these guys did was amazing. The who guys who did are estimate were very well educated, professional and very polite. It was clear that they really knew what they were talking about. They found everything that needed to be done and listened intently to my issues. They showed me the window, which was an energy star product which was very impressive. The follow up with the installation was superb. Everything went smoothly. I was worried things would not fit, or the price would go up after they started the work, but none of that happened. From the time they walked in, until the time they cleaned up after themselves they were terrific. They were very meticulous. The quality of the window and the attention to detail during the installation was exceptional. I was very impressed. I highly recommend this company for any home improvement project.

You need to look no further if you are considering replacing your roof. This roofing company exceeded my expectations from the get go. I actually had no intention of even replacing my roof but when I saw what they did at my neighbor's house (I mean it was transformative-the curb appeal from replacing their roof was simply amazing!), I could not resist calling for a free estimate. I got hooked immediately! From the minute I make contact with Molly and the team, I was duly impressed. My husband and I first heard about American Construction from the Pastor of our church. Our Pastor highly recommended the company. He said they exceeded all of his expectations, so we decided to give them a shot. We decided to stop by their showroom in Glendora, New Jersey. At the showroom Molly showed us real samples of their roofing products. She was extremely professional, helpful and knowledgable. We then setup an appointment for an in-home inspection. Greg showed up to inspect our roof. He took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions and was extremely well informed about the Owen's Corning roofing products. On install day the crew was efficient and clean. Joe the Project Manager was on site during the day managing the crew. Joe spent time with us to answer all of our questions, and he did a very thorough walk through with us at the end. The roof looks absolutely amazing. We couldn't be happier. For my siding replacement job in PA, I am grateful to have found American Construction through HomeAdvisors. The entire team is professional and customer centric. Compared to other company’s I sought estimates from, there were no sales gimmicks, up sales, or pressure tactics. Most importantly, they quoted the job below my stated price point and delivered a beautiful finished siding product. Installation was easy. Project manager and crew showed up at scheduled time, worked tirelessly, and cleaned up the work area each evening before leaving. The installation crew really know their trade and take pride in the details. I am particularly impressed with the technique used to trim windows achieving perfect scale and clean lines. For customer service they are number 1. Multiple times a day the installation lead asked if I had any concerns, the operations manager called daily to confirm my satisfaction, and the project manager walked through at the beginning and the end of the project. I felt that everyone I spoke with were genuine in their desire to deliver a positive experience. I will definitely call Greg up again for my future roofing or windows projects!

They offered a fair price for a fair assessment of work to be done. Unlike other quotes which were 4x more, they made me feel good about selecting them. Then when a tree fell on my roof just before the job was supposed to start, I was impressed by the ownership and leadership they had while helping me walk through the insurance process, as well as their initial response the day it occurred. Wow! These guys are awesome! I very highly recommend them. They did all the windows on my first floor, and my sliding glass door. Everything from the consultation to the install process was exceptional. The two guys who came out to my home to take measurements and give me my quote were very professional. They took the time to answer all of my questions, and explain all of the features of their products. They never did a high pressure sales pitch. The best part was that you could tell they actually cared about my needs. The windows are very nice and come with a life time warranty, which I really like. Everything that they showed me was Energy Star approved and rated. Their employees are professional and the quality of their work is top notch. During the consultation, it became clear that they use very high end products. I filled out a credit application and was approved on the spot. They installed my windows and door the following week. I couldn't be happier! The installation was a great experience. Joe, the foreman really took his time to make sure everything came out right. He is very meticulous. The other guys on his crew were very respectful and took the time to clean up after themselves. I was very impressed. One of the most important things about using American Construction was that I felt like I could trust them. I felt totally safe, and secure having them in my home. I knew I could leave their staff in my house unsupervised, without any problems or concerns. Once it was all said and done, I couldn't have been more impressed! I never knew how much of a difference energy efficient windows made. Everything they told me about the energy savings was spot on. My PECO bill for the month of January dropped an entire $100! About a week after the job was completed the operations manager called me to follow up and make sure I was happy with the work. At the 6 month mark, they stopped in for another follow up to check the quality of the work and make sure there were no unforeseen issues. Since American Construction did my house, they have done both my parents houses, my sisters house, and my next door neighbors house. They all loved the quality of the work, the professionalism and the family atmosphere. I very highly recommend this company if you are considering having any work done. I strongly recommend that you give these guys a shot.

Update- we just received a letter in the mail stating this company plans to sue us if we don’t remove this review. Not only were we being honest with our experience, I have read every other review posted and each one is easily confirmed as fake. Please be very cautious working with this company. We contacted them for an estimate on a house we just purchased. I was very impressed at first. I spoke with a man named Greg Dobkin. He was friendly and eager to come out for the estimate. He told us he really wanted the job because of where our house was located and he would write up an estimate ASAP. After about a week passing by and not hearing from Greg, I called him to see about our estimate. He apologized and promised he’d send it out ASAP (again). Days pass by and I email him again asking for it. When we finally get the price of the job, it’s $10k over our 3 other estimates from local companies with much more 5 star reviews. When I called Greg to understand his pricing he said he would call the owner to see if they could come down. If you could come down $10k then you were planning on ripping me off at first. Super disappointed in this company. Now reading their reviews on google and yelp I realize why they have 5 stars. It’s all from their friends and family. They all have his last name.

My wife and I decided we needed a new roof. We were looking for a more modern exterior look on our home. We found American Construction through a Google search. We called their office and spoke to Molly. She set us up with an appointment with Mark. Due to a family emergency we had to reschedule the first appointment, and we spoke to Jessica this time who was very helpful and understanding. Mark came out and was friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions. Mark spent two and a half hours patiently showing us the quality and craftsmanship of American Construction roofing. Mark answered every one of our questions thoroughly and honestly. Once we signed the contracts it was only a week until we got our new roof. The crew that installed our roof was polite and friendly. They laughed with each other while working and seemed genuinely happy to be working for American Construction. At the end of the day, our roof looked beautiful. Throughout the day Jake and Joe checked in on the crew. We were impressed by the level of supervision. Chris and Greg stopped by at the end of the day to inspect the project.
