The Shattuck work crews are extremely efficient, detail oriented, and courteous. Shattuck Paving came in mid August to pave the part of our driveway that has always been gravel/stone composition. The part they didn't pave they topped with a thick layer of perfect material for driving on and for snow removal in the winter. The job estimator patiently worked with us and several changes were implemented as the project progressed. The person in charge of the work crew was a true professional and this job was completed on time at a reasonable cost, the work was flawless, and we are very pleased with the result. We recently hired Shattuck to remove an old and crumbled cement driveway and replace it with asphalt. The crew used a mini-excavator to carefully remove the cement from a very tight space. Care was taken to pull the cement away from a detached garage and granite wall that abuts the driveway. All large rocks below the cement were also removed to prevent future heaving issues, a great base of gravel was brought in and compacted. The final product is smooth and uniform. They took great care to be sure the pitch from the garage and wall that abuts the driveway allowed the rain flow right out to the street. We are very happy with their work and the final product.

My wife and I would like make note of the exceptionally kind and generous services of all the folks at Shattuck Paving. From Ron, Michelle, Brett and all the guys who worked on our driveway I have nothing but high praise and thanks for what they have done for my wife and I. We are senior citizens who moved to Milford last September and hired a contractor to build a new 2 car garage for us. We used all of our liquid cash to hire this person and, to make a long story short, he ripped us off and we lost approximately $20,000. We were left with bare walls and a roof and spent 6 months trying to get our money back or have him come back to finish the job. In June 2019 we found out that he left the state and went to Florida. The NH Attorney Generals office tracked him down in Florida and has filed a formal complaint that he must now answer. We have received unbelievable support from local contractors who have donated their time and services to us to complete what should have been done by the unscrupulous contractor. During this process of trying to pick up the pieces we contacted Ron at Shattuck Paving asking if he could come and look at our driveway, that had been torn up during the excavation process, and see what he might be able to do to help us. Ron showed up one morning and after looking over what needed to be done announced to us that his company was going to do the entire project for free for us! The extent of his generous offer and kindness has overwhelmed us and we are so grateful that Shattuck Paving stepped up to help us at a time when we had no other options. Over the course of 2 days the crew came and prepped the site and then paved everything the second day. Their work is of the highest quality and the crew members were super professional and pleasant to be around. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Chris Krol Excavation who did the excavation work for the Shattuck crew and Brox Industries who supplied the asphalt to complete the project. Without all of them working so well together this project could not have gone as well as it did. I contacted Shattuck Paving for some projects at work. The bids were received in a timely manner. While the work bid was the work I requested and not more, I was asked if I wished for any additional options based on their assessment of the sites. These were supplied as add-on options and not automatically included in the price. The office worked with me to coordinate the work with the least amount of disruption to my clientele and the crew on-site were diligent about getting their work completed on-time and correctly. When the crew chief had questions, he made sure he understood what I was looking for and when I had questions, he made sure I understood his answers. And, to top it off, my parking lots look great and seam with the street very nicely.

there was a small issue with the paving at my house and I emailed to ask if there was any way to rectify the situation. here was my email to them I do have one small issue though. The tube that was installed was placed 10-12” too far away from the edge of the driveway. Any way to remediate that? not only did they fix the issue they did it quickly and added way more pavement than was necessary to rectify the situation. basically they went over and above what was necessary. they are highly recommended
