Service quality is going down. BE-Aware of the time you get charged. Their technician was sitting down at the location for 30 minutes after the work was done and that I got extra charged. They take at least 3 +hrs for any job that's a lot to pay for the small heating system in the apartment. I been client of them for few years now. Last time they had to come 3 times, finding different problems with the same unit..My call was consider as a urgent call(ON WEEK DAYS)...besides calling them 3rd time. I think they have to take a pride in their work and come the next day for the 3rd visit. Every time the heating was on for a week and than stops. My experience with Paradigm plumbing for "Heating System" is not that good. I did complain at the office about over charged but NO USE..

Owner Steven Labbe is such a nice man. The company he has built is incredible. Responsive. 24 hour service available. Can handle anything plumbing/electrical/HVAC. But where Steve really thrives is when he is given a challenge. Then his creativity, knowledge experience can really shine through. They even do wood pellet boiler installations. I didn't even know such things existed until I met Steve.

Had my hot water tank replaced by Paradigm and I was happy when I was told my hot water tank was still under warranty. I only had to pay for labor.... However, I was not happy with the additional charges they gave me when I went over my bill. They charged 140.00 an hour( I guess that is the going rate) but what upset me was, and was never told to me at all (I had to ask what the 70.00 hr charge was for) they charged me 70.00 hr for a helper. Again, when I called and asked how much they charge per hour, Paradigm said they charge 140.00 hr....never did they tell me that there would be an additional 70.00 hr helper fee. When I called the office they told me that I was lucky they did not send out a 2nd certified plumber to help at an addtional 140.00 hr. On top of that, they could not get to my house until 12:30 ( no problem) but, when they showed up they said if they work past 4:30 the hourly charge would go from 140.00 an hour to 210.00 hr. (they called it overtime after hours pricing.I told him to stop at 4:30 becuase I was not paying that). So, of course the tech guy did not finish the job and stopped at 4:30 and had to come back out the next day and they charged me 50.00 service call fee(again) and when I said to the tech when he showed up that I was not happy with the 50.00 service call fee and the 70.00 hr helper fee he told me that im paying for his expertise and that I could have called a different plumbing co. I have always used this company and these hidden charges( or should I call them fees not told to me). I would have given Paradigm zero or minus stars but cannot. Will never use them again and I will tell anyone who asks about a plumber service never to use Paradigm. Less. Update: Steve tells me below "life is to short to feel this way". Well maybe if you didnt charge me over 900.00 in labor when this job should have taken 2-3 hours top. Paradigm was replacing the exact same 40 gal. tank that was leaking( still under warranty) so there was no cutting or adding pipe. Took them 7 hours to repace it and charged me an addional 70.00hr on top of the 140.00 hr for a helper. Lets see how you would feel if you were stuck with no hot water and being taken for a ride. Oh, by the way...I called his cell number twice and left messages with my number .....Big shock, he never returned my call....damn joke

Long time former customer of Paradigm. We were always happy with their work. They installed our new Fisher and Paykel dishwasher last year, have done lots of our plumbing work, and work on our boiler. In 2014 they installed a gas powered hot water heater for us. This was not an inexpensive job, well over $2000, as they had to do piping and venting. We expected not to have to deal with any hot water issues for quite some time. We were saddened and surprised when that 4 year old water heater (normal use, 4 person residential home) bottomed out this past weekend. Thankfully, the tank itself was covered under manufacturer's warranty. We were told we did have to pay for labor, and to have a permit pulled. Labor charges to replace a defective water heater that died through no fault of our own, were 3 hours @ $140/hour and 1 hour @ $70 for a helper to deliver the new tank. So that's $490.00 out of pocket. Additionally, we were charged $300 for a "permit". I called our city clerk's permitting office. Maximum permit fee for the work we had done should have been $75.00; additionally no permit was ever pulled for the job. I understand the quality of the tank was beyond their control, and that the warranty didn't cover labor. Am I happy about that? No. But to charge us $300 for a $75.00 permit that was never even obtained? That's just wrong. They have our money. Unfortunately, they won't have any more of our business. We were looking at having them replace our entire heating system next summer, but we will hire someone else for that job. Expensive $840 lesson learned the hard way. editing to add that upon further investigation, the cost of the permit was actually more like $40.00 including application fee. The owner of the company is chalking up the $260 difference to "labor" to pull the permit. Our city is about 40K people, and I personally have never spent longer than 10 minutes there on ANY business. I'm sorry, but that is just wrong. It's a small city, and I used to work for a heating company. They charged us 8 times the cost of the permit. If that's not taking advantage of the customer, I don't know what is. I did receive the following follow up email from the owner after I told him I understood his position and I was sure he understood mine, and that no further contact was necessary: Hi Bobbi, Your permit has been pulled at $75 the rest of the charge is our labor to go and pull the permit and stand the inspection. We will need to have a code official go there and look at your system. I know you said not to contact you but the job will not be complete until we get you water heater seen by the code official and we will need to be there with the inspector of Concord. I appreciate your help in this matter. Please let me know how to proceed. Let us know when you are available for us to come out with the inspector to approve our install. Wishing you a better day,

If you're looking for a plumbing, heating and a/c contractor who has integrity, honesty, cares about his customers, has knowledge in all aspects, and has the crew(s) to match, then Paradigm is the company you should call. I've been renovating a house for the past two years. Steve Labbe, Eric, Matt, and now add Dmitri to the list, are the best. I trust them. THAT is a lot for me to say. They replaced my old oil furnace with a Viessman Vitodens. Best thing I'll have done for my heating bill. But even before that they were there for me. The furnace was the cherry on top. And I can't forget the office personnel. Those ladies knows their stuff. So I have a plumbing contractor for life now!

This past year I converted from wood burning to propane gas. I needed piping from the propane tanks to where the propane stove would be located on my house some 65 feet. Paradigm had done work at my son's so I decided to have them do the work. Great choice pipe was done to perfection. The city inspector found no errors or problem. 2nd floor toilet was leaking into the kitchen cabinets (yuck!) and a friend recommended Paradigm Plumbing. I called late in the day and the dispatcher gave me a window of two hours that the tech would be out. Mike Smith called just prior to his on time arrival. He evaluated the problem and corrected it in just about 30 minutes, taking the time to explain what he had done and then cleaned up like he was never here. Toilet works just fine now. I am glad that I called Paradigm and I will definitely use the service again.

Well first and foremost, the customer service is undisputable!!! I called to get some information and was treated very well, the employee actually give me the owners personal number, and after calling him and leaving a message, I got a call back in no time. Stephen labbe is a man of integrity and a business man of his words, he took the time to come to my house personally the very next day and check on the issue i was having with my boiler. Stephen explained me everything in great details, made me understand what was going. The estimate for the job it was the most honest and reasonable around, after comparing with a couple other companies, so I chose paradigm for the job with no hesitation. Out of the kindness of it's heart, my Hot water tank started leaking on a Monday night. Very convenient. I called a couple friends...no dice, a couple local plumbing and heating companies...no quick response. Paradigm answered the phone right away, patiently talked me through some steps that would keep me dry until morning and had a new Tank installed by lunch the next day. They also did some leg work looking into the Warranty on the existing Tank. This company is top notch. I love Paradigm. This is the greatest service company I've ever used. From heat not working to emergently installing a tankless water heater these guys are the best. I began using them at my last house and have already used them at my new house. As I told Steve, as far as I'm concerned there is no other HVAC or plumbing company I'd use. Paradigm replaced our aging furnace and central a/c in the Fall of 2015. They were great to deal with from the lady in the office to the guys in the shop and the installers who showed up at the house. Their price was fair and they did quality work. It was a complicated job and we did run into a small glitch several months later. Paradigm took care of it, correcting the situation with no problem and no games. It was a nice change of pace to not have to be on the defensive and fight for what is right. They did what was right. On Saturday I had a leak in my main pipe, and was it flooding my basement. As a first time homebuyer we had no idea what the problem was or where it was coming from. Very expensive work fee-same work done 1/2017 at $385 was billed at $970 whopping dollars in Nov of 2018....even accounting for inflation, this is ridiculous. And this was to change two heat thermostats! What a ripoff. And they demanded I pay the bill without even providing me with an invoice!! I have a Baxi boiler which is apparently so high tech almost no one knows how to repair it. I did not have any hot water, and I reached out to several plumbers; I didn't even receive a call back. Then I called Paradigm. They were totally professional from the start. They gave me a same day appointment and they sent Sean to help me out. Sean diagnosed the problem quickly, showed me exactly what he was going to do and explained the risks associated with swapping out the parts. None of those risks came to pass and the job was completed in no time. He didn't even have to leave for parts because he brought along a kit specific to my special boiler which had just about anything he might need. Paradigm is my new plumbing company and Sean is my plumber. Great job!

We purchased a wood pellet boiler from Paradigm a few years ago. At 2 a.m. our boiler stopped working. My husband found the problem and called the 24 hour service line and was told that they only had 1 technician for our boiler and they don't send them out at night. This morning at 7 a.m. my husband called again and was told that they are having problems getting parts for our boiler. When my husband asked what they were doing to find the part he was met with silence. So now my house is 45° and Paradigm has no plan to restore heat to our home. My husband is frantically calling around New England to try to find the part. Paradigm is leaving a family of 5, dealing with sickness, without heat for an undisclosed period of time and is making no effort to find the part needed.

I’m happy to say that we’re 100% happy Paradigm customers and we’re never going back to another! We’ve had a pesky Baxi unit for over 6 years now and the thing has been nothing but problems. After being tossed around by several other companies I’m finally happy we got smart and called yours. The staff, including Deb, was so helpful and I felt like a customer from the very first phone call. I was in crisis, as we woke up with no heat, but Deb was so calm and nurturing on the phone that I can’t thank her enough. She relaxed me by telling me we’re ok and we know how to fix the problem and then we took it from there. My email was answered right away and it was like working with friends. The 2 guys that came out couldn’t have been any nicer and they quoted us 470.00 for the work – something that TCC was going to charge 1200 for! WOW! Not only were they great, but very responsible and I could tell they understood the unit they were working on, something not many in our area do. There’s a lot of competition out there but we want to make sure that people go for the best! We’ve lost a lot of money and had a lot of stress over the years with our Baxi…if we had only known! Scheduled last Friday when it was 90+ degrees all last week and our business hadn't had a working AC. Waited over 2 hours today for the technician to come during the scheduled time frame. I finally called and was told that it's too cold to work on AC and that all the appts for the day were called + rescheduled this morning. Well, actually, 2 out of 3 of the dayspas were called. (Guess who was the 3rd?) Nothing open till Thursday now of course. "Too cold to fix AC" seems like a great way to get customers to pay emergency rates for service when they need it most - when the temps go up. I have suggested to landlord that he find another place to call for P&H needs.

My issue was just a simple pilot light not staying lit but with less than 2 hours notice he met me an had the issue fixed in less than an hour (dirt clogging the gas line). And I think this was the first time I saw a plumber in a tie!

Replaced a 50 year old boiler and HW heater with what these guys recommended. I was better off with the old stuff. The hot water goes from scalding to luke warm and back during every shower. They were unable to fix this when I called to complain. On the bright side, I did receive an dollar bill origami bird.

A week before we were set to move, our central AC stopped working. We needed to have it evaluated and fixed ASAP. The fix was worse than expected and needed a new condenser. The team was able to rearrange schedules and expedite the delivery of the parts needed to get it fixed before we closed. I want to thank Mike Smithe for being patient with me and my furnace issues. He is awesome and explained everything so I could understand what he was doing. I really do appreciate him and his great attitude! Update: Unfortunately the same customer service is not shown by the service manager. Multiple times have been given the runaround and promised returned calls not made after he’s told us he would look into the multiple charges for the same issue of no heat. This includes a $600 initial charge for no heat with the determination of issue being in our hot water tank? 5 visits and over 1,000 dollars later issue was resolved. Service Manager told us he would look into all the repairs and charges that were done after discussing with the techs that performed the different work on our newer boiler, installed and serviced by paradigm. No return calls from the service manager and on a follow up call made by us we were then informed the two techs no longer work for them, so he could not ask them. Again looking into and would get back to us with something in couple more weeks...this was in December and now we are into March with still no call back. This will be the last dollars they will get from us as we have found another local company recommended by our boiler brand.

Just needed a washer and dryer moved from one side of a closet to another. Guy spent half of the morning looking at it and tried to say it was a two day two man job. I told him to forget it my husband could do it. He came up with a "faster" one man solution. Left at 3:30 project not done and is charging me $900 fo labor when half the day was spent looking at options and his phone. I called them to discuss it and the service manager was awesome. Staff was very friendly. She apologized and credited me back some money and sent another tech out next day. The man was very polite but tried to excuse the larger than needed hole cut out in the wall, ignored the slice the guy made in the counter top with his knife, and tried to say he believed the guy deserved to be paid for the whole day. That "thinking and scratching their heads" for hours is part of the job. Wanted another $1600 to complete work! So all in all this company believes it should cost between $2,000 and $3,000 to move a washer literally 4 feet over. Have another plumber coming this weekend. Quoted me half the price. Just frustrated I wasted all that time.

The people at Paradigm Plumbing (both office staff and plumbers) have been nothing but amazing. My husband and I recently decided to switch to Natural Gas after moving into a new house with an old, leaky oil tank. The folks from Paradigm went out of their way to help us get financing for the work and were patient enough to stick with us through many factors that continuously pushed the work back (none of which were their fault). Once they were able to come into our home and begin their end of the work, they were quick, clean, friendly and knowledgable. We have had many smaller projects completed by Paradigm, but this was by far the biggest and I wouldn't have gone any where else. As long as we live in NH, they will be our only plumbers. Reggie, Brian, Ryan, and two other great guys with names I can't remember did all our work and we are so pleased with the outcome. Their customer service is top notch (they called to check up on us after we had a new baby and even sent us a gift card after she was born in May) and they definitely set the bar in which other companies should strive to reach.

We were In the middle of putting a new floor in and we ran into a problem with our toilet ! We needed a new one fast and Steve reached out to me after I submitted a request online for professional plumbers In my area. We had a new toilet in our home that day!! I was so relieved no pun intended haha he is a great guy and was awesome throughout the whole process of helping me find the right toilet and he picked it up and came right over. They took the time to explain what they were doing, because I am invested in learning about my home. I would recommend their services to anyone. Two weeks ago I had water coming in from my main drain in my basement. Not what I had expected to see when I woke up that day. I called Paradigm and they had someone at my home shortly after. They snaked the drain and pulled out a bunch of roots. They did this until they weren't bringing anything back up. They sent down a camera snake to confirm that the drain was perfectly clear that water was flowing smoothly out to the sewer. The gentleman that came out was so professional and great to work with. I had problems at one of my rental units and called Paradigm. It was a tough call which they ended up going out two other times on this boiler system in the last month. The third time I was getting frustrated and Steve Labbe, the OWNER!, answered his phone at 7:30 at night on a holiday weekend and went out to my rental property personally to fix the boiler. When talking with Steve the next day he explained what happened and never charged me for the two prior calls. Later on I found out that one of the calls was billable and he gave me a free part on the other one. It is very refreshing to have someone you know works as hard as Paradigm does to keep their clients happy. I will refer Paradigm and keep smiling that there is a company out there that has the true values and character of a company I really enjoy doing business with. Last summer I had an issue with my AC and while everyone else needed to book several weeks out, these guys got me in NEXT DAY because they understood how important it was for me to have ac during the hot summer months. I have a Kedel Pellet Boiler for almost 5 years I love it. Just this past week it failed I am in NH and you need heat up heat in the winter. I called Paradigm who installed the system and they were very responsive however the part they needed may take up to two plus weeks to deliver because of an unusual shortage. They worked hard to find this part and in fact the owner Steve drove over two hour aways away to get this replacement part for us. There was a Northeaster coming in a day and because this was coming up to a weekend I probably would have to wait several days for this part and fixing my heating system even if it was overnighted. Steve offered to come that night late into the evening to repair the system however I suggested any time the next day would work best for us. I did have a gas fireplace that was throwing off some heat. Steve the owner came first thing in the morning to repair the system because his technicians were already schedule for other jobs. Thank you Paradigm you are the best!

Paradigm has installed our tankless hot water heater, our furnace, moved our AC condenser and performed regular maintenance and I highly recommend them. They have skilled folks that are very attentive to your needs and do it all with a smile at a good rate. The owner of this company has to be one of the shadiest people I have ever done business with. Constantly sending unlicensed plumbers and gas fitters to do work that they are clearly not qualified for. If you want to be charged hundreds of dollars for service that you will ultimately have to have redone months later then call Paradigm. I Tried to get in touch with the owner to talk to him and was was rudely told by one of the girls in the office that "he ain't got time for that"
