Robert is a true professional. Last month I had my driveway done along with an extension to my retaining wall. The driveway came out great, and I was happy with the quality of the work, the retaining wall was the problem. When he wall extension was put in, they cracked a brick and the wall was uneven. I called to explain the problem, and Robert came out to inspect the wall himself. He had his crew replace the broken piece and fix the wall correctly. I am really happy with the service and glad I chose American Asphalt.

One of the most professional companies I have worked with plus they are "a bunch of great guys". Completely replaced and widened a 390' driveway in 1.5 days. End product looks great! American Asphalt went above and beyond what I would have expected. They were obligated, by contract, to a set price for a 'resurface' (overlay) of new pavement over the existing driveway. The team did not think it was the right way to do the job, so they tore up my old driveway, put down new underlayment material and installed a brand new driveway at no additional charge to me. Quite a shock when we came home one night to find the driveway 'gone' and packed stone underlayment in its place. American Asphalt, however, completed the job shortly after. New driveway looks great!

They fixed our water problem and worked extra hard at making sure the pitch was correct even running their own water tests to make sure. The owner even ripped up a few spots that we thought were fine but were not perfect in his eyes. Great work guys!!!

Highly recommend these guys! I called a local company to have them do a small section of my driveway, was quoted a price. Called these guys to compare prices. They said they could do my whole driveway for that much and fix all the cracks! Very friendly and great workmanship. These guys know what they are doing. bob and his crew came by after a job canceled and offered me tar for cheap, I excepted and said widen my driveway by one pass as far as you can go. there was a miss understanding and they just widened my end of my drive way and flared it out the way it was suppose to be done when the driveway was put in 15 years ago. I told bob that's not what i wanted done. bob said he will make it right and be by soon to fix it. within a week they were back and did the driveway the way i wanted it done and didn't charge me any different and were still the really nice friendly people they were the first day. i will not use any other company and this guy is a man of his word and and did great work, there was no argument and he fixed it right away. if you have any doubt about this company you will not have any trouble, and if you do he will fix it and not just disappear

American Asphalt Paving had the lowest estimate (by quite a bit) and good reviews so we chose them to do our driveway. Our driveway is long, and unforeseen issues popped up, such as finding 3 springs underneath. They were able to do the necessary excavation to isolate the springs and install a French drain. They had a crew of about 10 there for the 1-1/2 days it took. Even the owner, Rob, worked alongside his crew. After they were done and left, we noticed a couple of unfinished things. We contacted them and Rob, himself, was among those who came out to remedy the situation. They have a strong desire to make their customers happy. And, I must say, I love our new driveway!

They had a fabulous crew, and the right equipment. They replaced my deteriorating driveway. They showed up bright and early on Thursday morning with enough equipment to repave Route 93! They completely removed the old driveway then contoured and rebuilt the base before applying the asphalt. The driveway now looks great and will have better water runoff. Paul was very helpful from providing the estimate through the installation process. He was the last one to leave the site and rechecked every detail to be sure things were done right. Nice job.

American Asphalt gave me a very fair quote on the job, were willing to work within my price range, did the job well and exactly when they said they would get it done, and were courteous throughout the entire process. The guys on their crew are PRO's, and remind me that you don't have to be an artist, to create art. The work they did is fabulous in my, and my neighbors' opinions. During the driveway reconstruction, some unavoidable damage occurred to a nearby walk pad, probably due to material fatigue and adjacent cutting of old asphalt that had been installed by a builder (i.e., builders grade = cheaply done) almost 20 years ago . They fixed the damage by completely removing and replacing the area with new asphalt, WITHOUT ASKING FOR ANOTHER PENNY, and apologizing for the trouble it may have caused me. Imagine that; a company giving more than you already agreed upon without an argument! I liked them so much, in fact, that I am planning to use them again to pave the driveway at another property I own. I can't give them a higher recommendation and am confident that they will treat you more fairly than any of those fly-by-night operators out there.

We are in a spont where the drainage from both directions collects at the bottom of our driveway (from both sides of the road and my sloped driveway) and had eroded the pavement over the last few years. These guys have not only replaced the pavement, but they fixed the drainage problem!! The entire crew was professional and knowledgeable and willing to go the extra step to ensure my drainage issue was resolved. The owner was onsite and changed the original plan after noticing that the drainage was coming from not just one direction, but everywhere. Yesterday's rain proved it, no puddles (more like lakes after a good storm) at the bottom of our driveway. I will definitely be recommending this company to anyone that needs work done. I had a Large Job on my property, over 300 ft of Driveway and a Full Court Basketball Court in my back yard. The yard was not level to start and their was a lot of prep work to do. I received several quotes from 5 different companies and American Paving beat all the other prices from the start. They were the easiest to get a quote from. Dave is the person who gives quotes and you could not ask for a more professional person giving quotes that knows his stuff. Rob, is the owner and he is great and was on site the entire time working just as hard if not harder than his crew. Great leader, in my opinion. He did not want to leave until the job was completely done and I was completely satisfied. I changed my mind about a few things and it was no problem at all. I will post a few pictures to show how amazing everything looks. Save your self time and just call American Paving and just have them do it! I am a hands on DIY type and got to meet the crew and interacted with them and the owner and every single person was professional and extremely hard working! Now, I am sitting on my front porch enjoying how picture perfect my home looks.

American Asphalt Paving did a great job digging up and paving the bad 350 ft section of my 450 ft long driveway and adding a layer to the rest, which was in pretty good shape. The guy who gave me the quote showed up on time and did a more thorough assessment than my other quotes. He estimated that they'd be able to schedule me for June and that was accurate. They showed up with a large crew and enough equipment to get the job done in one day. There was a minor misunderstanding about how two culvert pipes would be handled, but that was quickly resolved to my satisfaction. The quality of the work appears to be very good. They put down a deeper gravel base than other companies had quoted me for. The result it a smooth, nicely graded, new driveway with well-tamped edges. They also brought in some loam and filled in a ditch that was causing some drainage problems. They took the initiative to surround the replaced culvert pipe nicely with some stones that they dug up. I am very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them.
