Derek did a fabulous job working with us on upgrading our system. He is very persistent in getting everything to work and resolving issue s \ errors. He is professional and extremly knowledge. He takes the time to teach and show you. He patiently listens to be able to understand the customers issues and concerns. He went above and beyond to make sure this new wireless system came on line. It was amazing to see this complex system with 3 partitions really come to life. Nobody else would have been this dedicated.

Could not get the job done. I contracted for a cellular install after a home visit by a salesman. The day of install they tell me it cannot be done. Refused to refund my fees so I had to dispute and cancel the hard way, luckily within the 3 day grace period. They left my existing panel in shambles and would not even quote me a landline install. A total waste of time and thankfully not money. I went elsewhere. Total corporate lack of accountability.

Lou Dotson at the Albuquerque ADT business office is one of the most customer oriented people I have ever met. He tells his clients call him first because he wants to provide the personal touch to your security system, and what is best for the New Mexico market. When looking for a business security system you can not go wrong at all when you contact Lou Dotson for your security system.

ADT is NOT a reputable company. They prey on old and unsuspecting people. My partner and I have been taken advantage of by this group of lying, cheating, and stealing self serving individuals. Their contract and people are all suspect of thieves. I would advise anyone NOT to do business with these thieves! They will lye to you on the phone and will never send a representative to visit because they know that they have taken advantage of another unsuspecting soul. ADT should be ashamed of their actions! Pathetic!!!

Lou Dotson from ADT is extremely professional and provided me all options for my home security system. He then went through each option and their features explaining which made sense for my home and which didn't - not trying to sell me things I didn't need. Highly recommend going with Lou!

Company does not even warranty their own equipment. When something breaks expect to pay $117 per hour to have an employee of adt come fix it. Also the company lets employees lie about how long their contracts are, was told it was 2 year contract actually it was a 3 year when I asked the corporate office about this issue they told me they could not control what their sales reps do or say. Avoid the hassle and choose another company that wants your business.

Terrible company and customer service. No transparency - quotes are followed by sales calls 3 times per day (even after you schedule an installation). Had an installer show up and say we need you to sign the contract online via email, which I had asked about several times before the installer arrived. Basically Sales and Installation do not communicate and tell the customer opposite things. Contract cannot be read in entirety before signing. Installer said our installation does not have a 6 month window to cancel, but that is posted on the website and sales told us this. No wonder they are losing big in the market. I do not recommend.

Power outage killed our security system, when we called requesting a repair, it was not urgent what so ever. (So they sell a security package and stress how important it is to be secure in your home at all times.) Customer service treated us as if we were a burden. When the alarm would not shut off due to the storm that created the power outage, they simply acted annoyed and told us someone would come out in five days to repair and it cost us $75 for the visit. Why pay for a service when it’s down five days? Been a customer for so long our equipment is not even listed in the online manuals. Not one call to upgrade or even ask if we are happy with service. When WE call customer service to inquire, we are told someone will call us. Have yet to receive that call.... oh wait, it’s too late now! I could go on and on. The five day wait to repair system was the last straw. The cable company came out the next day to repair the power outage damage. If a security company can’t treat their clients with the same quality of service as a cable company, I believe it’s time to replace them.

My ADT service technician, Jesse Wolf, was amazing! He gave me the tip to use ADT Go to keep track of my elderly father. He also helped me set up ADT Pulse on my phones, and customize my alerts so that when dad leaves front door or garage open, I get texts! The new auto-lock mechanisms that he installed on my front door and garage will bring me so much peace of mind. All of it took a little over an hour. Jesse was extremely professional, efficient and friendly. Thank you!

I had ADT Pulse installed in my home and was told I would receive a free smoke detector, camera and plug-in dimmer. The installation went smoothly but when I received my statement I had been charged $68 for the detector and $34 each for the camera and plug-in dimmer. I called ADT to get the charges credited and had to speak to 3 different people!!! Now I have to miss work to have a tech to come out to remove the “free” detector.

My 10 year old accidentally set off our smoke alarm trying to bake a pizza. ADT was so responsive when calling the people on our phone list. They sent a technician, Hope to change our batteries in our smoke detectors. she was great, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient! Thank you, ADT!

ADT was at my home the next day with a wonderful technician Jay D. He was competent and kind, I had a vandalism in my new home and was shook up. He kept me calm, added the alarm, Ring Door Bell and sensors all over house. I appreciated his professionalism and thank you ADT!

5 false alarms in less than 50 days after brand new system installed. Called techs out to fix, who both said, "I've never seen anything like this." When asking for paperwork to verify the alarm being serviced to the city, (which was fining us for being foolish enough to go with ADT), techs said, "Oh you should get an email. I don't have anything to give you detailing my service call." No email, so I call company. "Techs should have given you paperwork. We don't have any record of that." Plus, you sign a 3 year contract. AT WHAT POINT HAS ADT VIOLATED THEIR PART OF THE CONTRACT TO INSTALL AND MONITOR A WORKING ALARM SYSTEM? Avoid like the plague is my advice.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. From the blase’ phone call to inquire about pricing and being told it would be $99 for installation and $27.99 a month for the basic security I was looking for ..after TWO hours of the tech Lee being there he wanted to go into a sales pitch that wound up putting me in a weird position of choosing between different packages with the lowest going to be two payments of $400 with the first amount being due right then. The “equipment” I was quoted over the phone was not “up to par” for the protection I needed so now they wanted me to make 4 payments of $380 for the equipment that would best suit a small rental house and would be $52.99 for three years. The guy even did a corny “call” to his manager to get me a “good deal” which was so rehearsed it almost seemed like a horrible nightmare I was in. 5 hours later Lee left my home.. then the following day I get a “do you want to give a survey call” and when I start going Into my horrible review and experience the lady says “huh alright” and hangs up the phone on me. DO NOT GET SCAMMED by this company. It is not what they advertise and they are low life douche bags who want a nice commission check. I’d rather keep my 9 under my pillow knowing it won’t scam me then do any business with this company.

Bad company. Took 10 minutes to call the only time I needed them. And when I told them I was moving and couldn’t have the service where I was going, they got snotty. And they are holding me to a three year contract. The service will stop so, basically, I am paying them to keep a default off my credit. Old time loan sharks were more honest. At least you knew they were going to screw you. Since I paid for the install, it is strictly service only so why a three year contract? They are requiring me to pay them for not providing anything. Why don’t we have law making this fraud? They have an excellent rating on their web site but I couldn’t find anywhere to post a review. Hmmm.

When I asked for a ADT rep to talk to me I never knew I would find Michael. He was very professional and was able to discuss the options in my language! I am not a technical person and believe in the good old eye contact and honesty. When he quickly noticed I didn’t care for the apps on his work tablet he began to show me his own phone and home system. He gave me enough information that the other three security companies could not compare. I honestly didn’t know what I wanted in a system and didn’t think about the company behind the system. Michael helped me find an internet company to support my package and by showing me his phone I now upgraded to an IPhone! When the wonderful man came to install my system I was never afraid or worried about who was in my home or if I completely understood how to use all my new equipment. I felt secure knowing I always have Michael to call. I may be a cardiac nurse in a city however, I am an old ranch girl. Michael was able to be a person not a robot who just followed a script. Today I encourage all friends and neighbors to ask for “Our Michael”!

Terrible company to work for. Awful management that is constantly changing. Pay scale is not even close to being competitive and takes over a month to receive payment for sales made. I would not recommend any works in their sales department or on the service side because they are working 60-70 hours every week and 7 days a week.

If you live in Santa Fe, then do not use ADT's services. They are based in Albuquerque, and do not consider Santa Fe part of their service area. I had a problem with my unit and the plug quit working so the unit was on battery only. As the battery died, it would beep every 30 seconds until you disarmed it, then would start again. As ADT continued to not have any technicians available, I took the unit apart myself so it would quit beeping. ADT failed to notice that the unit had been completely disabled; they never even called to check. It was over 3 weeks with two cancelled appointments and no alarm coverage because their technicians "called in sick", and all that the unit needed was a new power cord. The whole idea behind a monitored alarm is that someone is out there, keeping an eye on things. With ADT, there's no one there.

the WORST customer service ever , the alarm kept going of only in the middle of the night , we had a guy here to fix the problem he didn't, we tried to call them we waited 40 minutes( 4 AM) on the line trying to figure out the problem , the dispatcher was really inpatient and not nice at all, they kept transferring the call from one department to another if i could cancel i would in a moment , don't ever sign a contract, a lot of companies will go the extra mile towards a customer , but they dont care at all. would never recommend and use.

If there was below a 1 star I would. I'm not even an ADT customer but apparently the cell phone number I have was a customer of ADT's and have called my phone at least 25 times warning me about an alarm going off. I've told them every time that I am not the person. They are trying to contact and keep getting assured my name will be taken off the call list. I finally call their customer service number and because I refuse to give ALL of my information to the guy (seeing as I'm not an ADT customer, I have no need to..I just wanted my number removed and didn't know if this was a scam company so obviously I won't give them my name) so he laughed at me and hungup. I immediately called back and the next individual to talk to me wasn't reassuring at all the issue was resolved. So if that's what the customer service is like with this company, I'd hate to actually buy your services.

When the sales agent came out he advised us that there would be no contract associated with getting out ADT security system. The equipment is not working how we wanted it too and have already had a change in doorbell motion and is still not working. I called to ask if I could cancel and they said yes I would be able to cancel. Called a few weeks later and stated I wanted to cancel and they stated it would be a $1,200 buy out of my contract that I was not aware that I had. Then spoke with safe haven and they told me it would be $1,700 for the buy out. They are not willing to help me when I had no idea I had a contract and are making me pay the buy out or keep their service going. This is a horrible company to work with and is not willing to help their customers with their needs or issues. Will never go through ADT again. They do make you sign a contract and do not tell you that you are signing a contract! Do not ever get a security system through them they will rob you blind of your money and not be willing to care.

Terrible Company! What you are told on the phone and what happens when the "installer/sales rep" arrives at your home are a million miles apart. High pressure sales, when you thought you had it settled over the phone. Give you one monitoring price on the phone and another, higher, of course in your home. The first thing they did was knocked a hole in the wall and install the monitor, not the one you were quoted on the phone but a more expensive one, guess they felt that if you had the hole you would just accept a higher price, not. Their ads are just a come on, Guess if the salesmen fail there they can always become used car salesmen.....they have the training for that job.Too bad because I thought they were an honest company, it will take a few days for my twisted arm to heal but I did not fall for the pitch.

ADT has great service here in Albuquerque. And technical support - I want to commend Hope Moss for her oustanding support just before Thanksgiving in identifying and resolving a communications issue between our security system and the ADT monitoring center. Hope was on time and quickly identified and resolved the problem; and communicate dwith ADT ro ensure everything was AOK. Hope is a true professional who 5ruly knows her tech. She was professional, gracious and polite. She explained everything as she worked to ensur emy comfort level with her fix. Additionally, she also took time to explain an issue with the third party DSC keypad our builder installed. The contractor for that already is scheduled to come out to work on that (it does not affect the security system) but Hope worked the DSC help line and determined the likely issue. This will make the contrcator's job muhc simpler when he comes out. So - Hope, in a word, is brilliant. PS. While she was correcting our issue she received an emergency call from another of her clients. She calmly walked that person through the process of rectifying the problem while at same time continuing to work our problem. Amazing multi-tasking.

Their staff is excellent: they provide us what we need in a timely fashion, monitor the system from install to service, and are there for us when we need them for account questions. They have knowledgeable support staff and their technicians are the best!

Make sure you read your contract. They try to rush you through it so they can lock you in and screw you. The tech that came out was great and very helpful but everything that was promised on the phone was a lie. And as for their cameras.... They suck, always have trouble connecting. I have had the service for 2 months now to see if it gets better... security system is good but get ring cameras and application, so much better than the atd camera and application

We experienced a false alarm with our ADT system while on a trip. Seeing no one was home, we had the police come out and check our house. It turned out that a sensor needed to be replaced. Our technician, Hope, was EXCELLENT! She took care of our problem, checked out our entire system, set up some new security equipment for us and did it all with great humor and kindness. She exhibited the best characteristics of a technician who has great skills and who cares about the customer. Very good experience.

Called about my monthly rate. They offered to come down $20 per month. That was still higher than most others. I moved on and set up with another company. ADT calls and offers a monthly rate of around $21 per month. That is ONE THIRD of the original rate. They will over charge you as long as you let them!

We had our 15-year old ADT system replaced with a new one. The reason we are writing this review is that we were so impressed with the technician who installed it, Jesse Wolfe. He was courteous, professional, and clearly knowledgeable. Because of the way the house is laid out,and because we changed our minds about a couple of things, it took him longer than they had anticipated. He was gracious about it, called his manager and rescheduled his next appointment so that he did not have to come back and inconvenience us. He was very impressive.

ADT gives you a lot of FREE stuff! It probably only cost them a few bucks. But hey, we love free don't we? After that they have you sign a (insert sarcasm) 65 year contract, which you of course do. We just moved out of state, I called ADT in April to cancel my service. The cancellation fee was about $800 or I could continue to pay my monthly bill until my contract was up in May 2018. I told them that was not okay with me. I asked to speak to a manager. But there was not a manager who could talk to me. I argued for some time and they finally said that they would cancel my account. I then told them to put in my notes that I wanted a manager to call me back, so that I could verify the cancellation. Well, let's just say that ADT is not top on my list of things in life to remember and no manager EVER called me back. ZERO stars for customer service. Fast forward to July 2017. I noticed a charge on my CC from ADT, so I looked into it. I have been charged every month since I called. My next phone call started out pleasant, but then it got nasty. I called ADT again, finally got a manager. She was a nice robot. Polite and apologized several times. But (and I do understand a contract is a contract) nothing was resolved. I'm still having to pay on a system that I no longer use until May 2018. Or I could transfer my ADT service to my new home. She was kidding right? I told her that there was no way I was using ADT ever again and that I would be giving no so good reviews on every site I could find. She did say that if the new tenants signed a contract with ADT, that I wouldn't have to pay anymore. I then said, "So if the new tenants go with another security company, which I hope that they do, I would still have to pay until May 2018?" She said yes. Am I the only person who thinks this should be fraud? I would not recommend ADT to anyone. There are a lot of good security services out there. Including Brewer Security Solutions, based in Florida. Which is who we use now. If I could give ZERO stars I would. This customer service is unacceptable.

Be wary of this company. They scam new home buyers and show up unexpectedly and say you were supposed to be told at your mortgage closing that they would show up which is NOT TRUE. They do not have any agreements with companies to be saying that.
