My wife and I highly recommend Classic Hardwood Floors. They are quite professional. We are quite pleased with our hardwood floors. The installation and finishing went smoother than expected and there was very little dust. Our experience with Classic Hardwood was superior to experiences that we have had in the past with other contractors.

I highly recommend Classic Hardwood Floors. Dani and Tucker, owners, could not be better to work with. Service is highly personalized. All my many questions about our remodel flooring needs were promptly and thoroughly answered, and we love the results. Initially, we wanted to have old maple flooring refinished, but Tucker showed us that it was too thin to refinish, so we had new red birch installed in living, dining, and kitchen, with beautiful results. Installers were on time, professional, and kept the work area very clean. After talking to Dani about other flooring options for the rest of the house, we chose cork, which I wouldn't have thought to use, but after Dani shared her own experience with cork floors, we went for it, and are so happy we did. It is warm, quiet, soft, and durable, and we were able to install it ourselves because it is a floating floor. Don't hesitate to call this company!

Great company. Schedule in advance due to their popularity. After obtaining several estimates from other remodelers and flooring installers, I went back to Classic. They offered insight into the best scenario for a subfloor upgrade while their competitors either told me to a) have someone else do that portion of the floor preparation, b) claimed the upgrade was unnecessary for the 40 year old particle board. Bonus; Classic came in at a lower price with a better product and timeliness. Serious about the quality of their work.

The floors are re-finished acceptably, but it certainly was not a "dustless sanding" experience. I recommend that anyone using this company insist on barriers (plastic sheet, etc.) for dust mitigation in adjoining rooms. My experience: Before any sanding started, I asked for them to hang a plastic sheet to prevent dust from contaminating the rest of the house. I was told that there would be no dust because of their large vacuum, and that if it looked like any dust was getting into the rest of the house they would hang a plastic sheet. After the re-finish was completed, I found dust settled on almost all surfaces in the adjoining room, which is my kitchen. This meant a layer of dust had settled on the counter tops, all of the open shelves, every dish and cup, every appliance, and on the fruits and vegetables stored on the counter. Cleaning all the dust required many hours of effort. I have received a call apologizing for the 'oversight' of not hanging a plastic sheet, but I am still quite disappointed that all of the effort I spent cleaning up dust could have been greatly reduced with such a simple task.
