We arrived home to Billings on a Friday midnight flight only to find upon entering the house that the temperature was down to 50. Outside it was 18. When we are gone we set the thermostat to 60. Attempts to restart the heater were unsuccessful, so we went on-line to see what our options were. At 1:15 AM we called Central Heating & Air conditioning, were told a plumber would call in 10 minutes, and he did. By 1:45 AM Darren was at our house, identified the problem, said we needed a new part, but could restart the heater, promised to be back on Monday. Monday morning Larry called to say he was coming. Not only did he fix the heater, but explained what had caused the problem and how to identify it in the future. Both Darren and Larry were professional, friendly, instructive. GREAT JOB!! My Dad was trying to fix my heater and we called them for a part we thought was defective. We stopped by to get the part and while the friendly office staff was calling around to get the part the service crew offered to test our part and it wasn’t defective after all. Then the staff showed my dad another part that might be the problem. We went home and did what the service guy said and the heater started right up. We were not charged for the expert help. What a wonderful experience with this company. Thank you Central Heating so much!!! You will always be our go to company

Disreputable company. We asked for a quote for a replacement and they quoted us over $4,000 for a basic model that other companies in Billings charge $2,600. We made the mistake in installing a furnace with this company and the horrid patchwork they did was appalling. Other technicians just smiled when they saw the workmanship. They tried to save on a $1 tape and only patched the corners of the furnace. I guess there is a novel way to save money on the corners. Save your money and do not hire this company. Other companies in Billings are way better.

Angelo was extremely helpful and conscientious, going above and beyond. Although he came for a routine maintenance check-up, he did not rush through and checked everything thoroughly. He also had helpful advice for keeping our aging unit going and what to do when it finally gives up the ghost.

Very disappointed. Tech installed a heat/air thermostat and nothing was wrong with the stat. Tech knew nothing about thermal limit switches during diagnostics. $200.00 bill for a $40.00 part (limit switches). They also said I needed an entire new furnace and quoted me $ 3600.00 for a new furnace. It only needed new limit switches. Never again. You have been warned.

Save your money and NEVER hire this company. Had them out less than a month ago paid over 600 dollars to fix my furnace for it to quit working within 15 minutes of the technician leaving. Tried giving them another chance last night. Called the office at 4 pm and was told a technician would call me back within 15-20 minutes. An hour and a half later I still had not received a call back so I called them again. Finally at 7:30 pm when I was finally contacted to be told that for them to come out then would be overtime and if the part didn’t fit I’d be paying to open a wharehouse and another trip into town as I live 23 miles out of town. Mind you when I FIRST called at 4 pm I told them the exact furnace I had and what the problem was and come to find out the technician wasn’t even contacted until after 5:30. Will not recommend them to anyone and will let everyone know about my experience with them! If I could they would get no stars from me!

Can't say enough good about this company and their technician, Darren!!! I called with my problems and within a 1/2 hour, I received a call and the technician was here fixing my problem! Darren explained everything from the furnace problem to the invoicing. Very thorough and very professional! Thank you Central Heating. It's much warmer inside now.

took them 3 days. However, they had to take out an old 1957 Lennox furnace and put new furnace ducts in the basement. TheA/C unit that we ordered was delayed because of weather so Zack and His team were nice enough to compensate the delay with and upgraded A/C unit so that we did not have to delay on the installation. Very fine work,knowledgeable people and the service was above par. Thanks . I would recommend to everyone!

Beware of central heating and air. My furnace isn't working and they came over today and told me I need a new board for my furnace this will run me about $1000 if they can even get the parts but that it will just break again because it's leaking flu gas and carbon monoxide and could be deadly. He also said my central air needs to be replaced. He said $3000-$6000 if I replace it all. Ok so I call my dad because he knows more about this than me. My dad's friend owns condensed air and they came over and informed me it's not leaking flu gas and you can't tell if it's leaking carbon monoxide until it's on. He is getting the parts right now for $120 and is charging$85 to fix it. I can't believe how central heating tried to take advantage of me. Plus I had to pay them $100 just to come look. They also told me that my furnace was a 1988 but it's a 1998. This company is very dishonest.

Our 1966 boiler had heating issues. This winter Central Heating & Air conditioning in Billings Mt put in a new boiler. I spent so many sleepless nights with our old boiler and having no heat at times. The new boiler has keep us warm for the remainder of Winter and now I can get some sleep too. Rick B the service pro was so nice to us. He done a good job installing the new boiler. He went that extra mile for pleasing us his customer. I want to thank him and the staff at this company. My husband Ray and I are very happy with the new boiler and the service we received. God bless them all. From the bottom of my heart I thank them always.

Made an appointment for 8:00 am and stayed home to meet the service person. A half hour later, still hadn't showed up and I called the company. The person vaguely stated that "someone had called in sick," and that she "thought the person was leaving now." Not apologetic in the slightest. A few minutes late is one thing, 45 minutes without a phone call when you know there's a problem is inexcusable, and they seemed like they couldn't care less.

I recently had my furnace serviced by Central Heating and wanted to share what a great job they did. The service tech was on time and went beyond just checking my furnace. He cleaned the entire unit at no extra cost and explained how to replace my filters and how it worked. Great job.
