It’s really funny how all the positive reviews on here are from former or current employees… This is a horrible company to work for, they don’t pay their employees what was promised, they send them out of town to work 12 to 14 hour days seven days a week and don’t pay them what is due to them. I do not recommend this company. The management staff is awful. The crews are great guys, but dealing with management in trying to get things done was a horrible experience. Their General Manager has very little concern for anything other than getting her payment. When they damaged my furniture, I had to beg for her to pay me what they owed me, and it took months to get it. She avoids phone calls and doesn't respond to messages. The guys are hard working, and would do great with a better management. But until they change management, I will never use this company again. And I let my insurance company know this also. I am writing this under an anonymous account because I do not want to deal with them again once they see this review.

They sent out a crew member who was able to explain the process of duct cleaning and we scheduled an appointment. They came the next day to perform the cleaning. To start off with, yes, I am a former SERVPRO employee. SERVPRO as a company is great company. The things that they stand for and the services they provide are second to none. However, SERVPRO of Hattiesburg and SERVPRO of Pearl River, Hancock and SW Harrison Countries is a different story. I was let go last week. I was told by the owner because of their financial position so they could no longer afford to have a sales staff. They were doing all they could to keep this from turning into a possible worse situation that could affect the entire franchise. And putting a lot more people out of work. This is a business decision and I understand. What I don't understand was that monies that I earned back in October by going out of town and working Storm events in KC and Florida they would not be able to pay. They can keep their Production Manager who allowed the entire out of town production crew including himself to visit a Strip club while out of town and miss scheduled appointments but can't afford to keep a Sales staff and pay them the monies that are owed to them. We're not talking about a few dollars we're talking about a little over $ 3000.00. I'm not talking about commission I'm talking about monies that were to be paid to offset being out of town and away from my family for 19 days as well to offset me not being paid for overtime. You see you work 12-hour days including Saturday and Sundays when you're out of town there is no such things as days off. Although they did pay an employee who was let go before me his out of town pay that they had earn for being out of town in KC. All I am asking is to be treated fairly. Why should I be forced to file a law suit and pay more out of my pocket to get what is owed to me. If they treat employees this way, how do you think they might treat their customers. I wanted to wait until I had received my W-2 form to make sure i spoke the truth. You see I am a former employee. I worked for SERVPRO of Hattiesburg, SERVPRO of Pearl River, Hancock and SW Harrison Countries for 2 years. After receiving my W-2 I compared it to last years. I made about $ 13,000.00 less in 2018 than I did in 2017. There are two reasons for this. First the Franchise owner cut my base pay by $ 8,000.00. I was told by him that this was all he could afford to pay. I later found out after talking with the Office Manager that this was his attempt get me to quit. Second the other $ 5,000.00 was a loss in my commissions. You see you have to make a certain Man Hour Rate on jobs to make them profitable. This is corporate wide. This is a business and I understand this. Now enter a new Production Manager, who after 3 months of working with SERVPRO knew everything. The funny thing was that I started loosing commissions because we we no longer meeting the MRH. Now keep in mind that the production crew members have nothing to do with this. They work the jobs they are sent to. Of course It was pushed back on me saying that I did not price the jobs correctly. To which my arguments was that we price according to Xactimate which it the industry approved pricing tool. You can not charge more that what Xactimate says you can. In no way are the production crew members or Production manager penalized for a job falling short of the MHR. They make their monies event get paid overtime. The owner gets to keep the commissions that they would have paid out. The only person who pays the price for the jobs not being produced correctly is the Sales person who has nothing to do with Production. So what I am trying to let people know is that if you are looking at joining SERVPRO of Hattiesburg, SERVPRO of Pearl River, Hancock and SW Harrison Countries do it through production. That way you can always be sure to make the monies promised to you. Or just kiss up to the Production Manager. Your choice.

This company is a rip off. DO NOT USE THEM... they charge $600 dollars for a duct cleaning and all they do is spray air freshener in the duct works ... They over charge for mold cleaning the same chemical they use and charge thousand for you can get at Walmart for $40 a gallon...
