Hello My wife and I purchased a home through Americas Home Place. We were reluctant about doing that because of all the set plans they have. Once we decided we to purchase the home plans, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that we could customize the home to our likes. Jimmy Rhodes, practically bent over backwards to please us. From every aspect of the construction of our project, from moving rooms, enlarging rooms, and adding rooms. Once that was completed things moved to the construction point of our home. Austin Round was the contractor from this point moving forward. He had the same profession can do altitude as Jimmy. These guys I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone wanting a house built. If anything we had a concern about Austin was always there to address them. We’re very happy with America’s Home Place, if you would like see a home built by them feel free to contact Jimmy about a visit. We Love our house!!

Jimmy and Austin were great to work with, good guys. However, if you are look for a fairly affordable option to build a home, Americas Home place is a good option. If you are looking for quality work that makes you very proud of the money you spend, find a personal well-known contractor. Only a month in my new home and I find low quality craftsmanship each and every week. Problems that were addressed many times and yet I still have a house with those same problems. Electrical outlets and light switches are mostly all visually crooked, paint grade is terrible, only 3 to 4 Windows are actually silicone from the outside. The list goes on. I suppose I should post pictures. Like I said, if affordability is the main goal and objective, then you will be happy, certainly I'd you have handy man skills. If objective is your quality, keep looking.

My husband & I currently working with Jimmy & Austin on building our new house (ASHLEY C). So far, the process is going very smooth working with the two. I cant wait to review everything, so they can get started. I will definitely come back with a update on the final product... I'm to excited!!!! Update: July 15, 2018 At the end of the final review, everything was going great. I was super excited.. I thought July was going to be the month, but it was one more step. America's Home Place appraiser had to appraise the home & land. We paid them almost $600... They (AHP) appraiser appraised the land low, when I found out he didnt do everything to help us get our dream home... We have new homes in our area less then 10 miles from our property... So, why they couldnt build it. Jimmy & Austin founded another home with nothing we wanted in our dream home. It was a complete down grade. The house was bigger, cost more with the garage, but with cheaper things inside. It looked like a big triple wide trailer... Really, to me... If I'm getting a home build, I didnt want to use more funds to update.. The garage was removed, one vanity in the master's bedroom, no bricks, 90% of the home carpet, no porch, patio & we were told to take the house as is with an addition 300sqft. I didnt want a big house, because it only my husband & I. They even gave us a week to go with that house. I was told the home we signed papers on didnt have enough square footage & they will be out allot of money to build our home in that area... My feelings were tore to pieces But God... Keep in mind, we got approve with everything we wanted... I dont understand how an expensive house could go on the same acre & our home cost less & CAN NOT be builded..... I'm not paying a high note on a home for 30 years Im not satisfied with... I'm actually glad it worked out like it did... America's Home Place was not for me.... Im not mad anymore... My next move is my better move & it working in our favor... I have a BIG & BETTER BLESSING WAITING ON ME... #Im Satisfied with the new plan... #babymansion #RealDreamHome #lesscost Thanks AHP for a lesson learned & a better opportunity to get what I want & more....

No home build is without hiccups, but we were very impressed with how smoothly our build went. From the time framing started to the day we were handed the keys was less than 3 months. We did have a 6 week delay (after the foundation was poured but before framing started) while they were waiting on back ordered trusses. I will admit, this was frustrating to us, as we were very eager to get into our new house. Other than that delay, the process was fast and easy. In particular, we found that selecting the plan, modifying the plan, and making choices for the interior/exterior finishing details was stress-free and fun. I know others who struggle with that for months, while we did it in a few hours. And now, looking at our selections, we love everything and how it turned out. We have been in the house for 8 months, and America's Home Place has fixed all the minor things we have brought to their attention. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. During the build, we loved that we received weekly update calls to tell us what to expect. It felt like a well oiled machine. In closing, we have received so many positive comments on how beautiful the house turned out. We were happy we chose America's Home Place and would highly recommend them.

After building a home many people say they would never do it again. I would build another home today, so long as I could use Americas Home Place. Building our home was easier than buying a car and I mean that. They handled every aspect of building process. From the blueprint to the construction loan and the actual building process I would describe our experience as virtually having no problems. Our home was built quicker than we expected as well.
