The Chick-fil-a of Air Conditioning Contactors Seriously—they are. In every respect. For many years, our household has relied on one of, if not the biggest name in Jackson, to service our heating/air conditioning needs. That relationship was laid to rest with one call placed to AirSouth back in early May. Since we were unhappy with the company we’d used for years, my husband spoke with several HVAC wholesalers in the area, and they all said the same thing, “That if it was their house, they would call AirSouth out of Mendenhall.” So, we did, heeding their high recommendations. In fact, my husband was so impressed with their sales representative’s knowledge (Brian), he contracted them that day. Initially, their technicians, Chris and Elliot, installed our new unit and reworked our ducts for maximum airflow (something the other Jackson contractor acted as if we didn’t need). In the twenty years we have lived in our house, we’ve never had the air flow that we do now. And even better, reworking the ducts the way they did has saved us over $100 each month on our electric bill. Then, roughly two months later, we purchased a Nest thermostat that one of their technicians, Johnathon, installed for us as a courtesy, at no charge. While he was there, we talked about adding a purification system and having our ductwork cleaned, the latter of which we had never done. Two weeks later, two of their technicians, Ben and Joel were back at our house, putting it in and vacuuming our ducts, getting them nice and clean. They even took pictures to show us the before and after. And I’m happy to say that my sinus issues have been greatly reduced as a direct result. Hands down, AirSouth is one of the most professional large-scale contractors my husband and I have ever used. Every technician was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, hard-working, had a sense of pride about their job, were respectful to their surroundings, and took great pains to clean up after themselves. Not only did they arrive on time, all three times they were scheduled, but they sent us several courtesy texts, one of which included a picture of the technician that would be doing the work. Not only did I find it a friendly touch, but I liked the safety aspect of it just as much. In closing, five stars doesn’t seem enough for the service they provide or the expertise they exemplify. If anything, they deserve all the stars in the sky.

James Sinclair was Awesome. We ended up buying the XV 18 5 ton Gas System. I was tired of our Energy bill being so high, ($500), & our system just wasn't cooling like it should, so we needed a more efficient Air Conditioner/Heat. I told him what we wanted & the problems we were having with uneven temps. He knew exactly what we needed & set everything up for us. I didn't even hesitate after he gave us the quote, which was way cheaper than other quotes that I priced last summer. We got a much better system with a fancy App that i can operate from my phone. Very happy with the service we recieved from the guys, Dane & his team worked hard. They installed new air ducts in sunroom, new return in bedroom & cleaned everything up. No complaints at all. They were all very professional, knowledgable & did a great Job. Martha Sinclair in the office, handled my billing & was so sweet. They made me feel like part of the family & they really cared.

A friend told me she had recently had a good experience with AirSouth. I called them on July 3rd, James Sinclair (very nice and knowledgeable) came on the morning of July 4th, and my new unit was installed before 5 pm on July 6th!! Ben Axsom and Austin Morehead worked tirelessly in the outdoor and attic heat. They knew exactly what they were doing and were very respectful of me and my property. Jonathan C. Was our repairman. First I like to make note that our unit was purchased from Sears. The people who installed it were horrible. I won’t say they lacked intelligence but I had more knowledge of the installation than the 6 of them put together. So the unit I have is not one that Jonathan or this company were accustomed to. Because of an electric surge almost every part on the unit went out. But Jonathan worked in the hot hot hot attic everyday for 6 days,(the time it took was because of the unit I have, as it has all these computer components and only allowed one problem or part to be fixed at a time). But he did not give up. He got all the parts and was extremely humble, kind, courteous, and helpful. When he found out we are vets he made sure we got a discount for that. He was also very helpful in informing us of every step and why he was unable to get the unit to give him all the information at one time. He also told us about a maintenance program, that will be very helpful to us at our age as old people have a hard time getting honest repairs done. In my opinion this man deserves a bonus for all he did. Or at least a paid honeymoon. He was so respectful, and polite. I hope he does all our repairs. Thank you so much Jonathan C. God Bless You.

I was born in Mississippi, but have not lived here in my adult years. I temporarily came back to the area to be a caregiver for my elderly mother. The Air Condition at my mother's home was not cooling. I called all over to find a HVAC company that would come out. We are in the boonies (Vaughan MS). I did not receive a return call from most of their telephone numbers were disconnected. This has been a hot month and my mother has COPD. I finally got a hit on Google for AirSouth in Mendenhall MS. Since I have never heard of Mendenhall I knew this company was going to be too far away. However, I called anyway and left a message. I received a call back directly from (Ashley) I think, very nice lady. She checked the service area and found they do indeed service Vaughan Ms. She scheduled an appointment with me that day , which by the way was a Saturday. The technician Johnathan C. showed up as scheduled, I also received a text message as well as a picture of the technician. I thought that was the best, especially for a single woman living in the country. Johnathan C. can in, quickly diagnosed the problem and quoted me on the repairs/Replacement. He asked if the warranty was registered. Of course I did not know nor have any info on that. Johnathan C. offered to check into this for me. I am a researcher by heart so, In the meantime I checked around for the replacement unit cost. I found the quote was fair for the work to be performed and the cost of the unit. Finding this info. put me at ease with the company and the technician Johnathan C. This is the company I will use for all of my HVAC needed. I feel confident in this company and comfortable that they ARE NOT trying to up-charge me because I am a single woman as so many contractors do, This is an ethical company. Top-Notch in my book. The company and Johnathan C. get a 5 star rating for me.

On a Sunday, when you want to rest, the last thing you want is to be hot and sweating in your own home. After troubleshooting myself, I called Airsouth because I wanted someone I could trust to repair my unit. I called Martha and in less than an hour, my dog was barking because there was a knock at the door! James was very pleasant and made sure my unit was working to my satisfaction before he left. So James S. our technician with AirSouth arrived at about 6:30 pm and spent a very generous amount of time proactively checking all of our air duct work from within the house and from underneath, along with checking the condition of our combined A/C and heater unit outside the home. As James thoroughly explained the condition of our system we felt very thankful and confident of what we needed to have done, which it turned out to be just a good thorough cleaning and sealing up some air leaks in our duct system. It was James’ 26th birthday and he spent from around 6:30 until way past 7 in the evening with us going over the inspection with us and answering every question we had. Ben and Dane of AirSouth did an exceptional job installing my new Trane inside and out units. They job in less than 4 hours and left house and premises in clean condition. They were very professional and courteous. James Sinclair Executive Rep was very professional in providing quote and provided timely installation. He got my old cooling system working free of charge until new unit could be installed. I have signed up by seven rental homes up under their preventive maintenance program. Airsouth did a WONDERFUL job installing a new cooling system in my home. James came and did a free consultation and quote with me on the 25th and explained to me in detail what was wrong with my system and why. The old one hadn’t run in several years and we had been using window air conditioners to get by. He told me exactly what equipment they would install and how much it would cost. He also scheduled my installation date and gave me payment options. The workers arrived on time. Greeted me very warmly. They hauled the old equipment away and everything they installed was top notch. They were here from roughly 9am to 3pm since they had to remove the old system and then install the new system. I had two very nice technicians named Ryan and Austin. I highly recommend Airsouth to anyone.

AirSouth was great from start to finish. I called them on a weekend . Our master bedroom was not getting cool. It had been that way for quite some time, but we figured it would cost a ton to fix it. They responded to my online inquiry within an hour which was unexpected because it was on a Sunday. We scheduled a time for the following week for them to come out. Ben came out, let me know the problem, and gave me an estimate. The team removed some old duct work and installed new duct work, dampers, a new supply plenum, and also added a return and duct work to the new return. They also replaced an exhaust fan in the attic. They worked fast, were very courteous, and cleaned up behind themselves. The cost was very reasonable especially for all of the work that was done. The communication was great! Ms. Martha, Christy, and the other ladies in the office were so sweet and took care of any questions I had. Ben and his team are great technicians. They were very respectful to us and our home. My whole house is getting cool now. Its been a little over a month and a half now since the work was done. And my AC is working better than when we built the house 11 years ago.
