I was very disappointed. The job was to paint our basement family room, stairway, and two small bathrooms. Although the original representative and the scheduler were very helpful and responsive, there were some issues with the actual painting that I feel were sub-par. The original quote called for 1-2 person crew for 3 to 4 days. Only a single painter arrived and it actually took a total of 11 days to complete. The actual painter was a sub-contractor and was late arriving at our home on the first day and EVERY single day during the course of the job. Never any sooner than a half hour late, normally 1 to 2 hours late. On one day he never showed at all, without any contact or explanation. When he initially completed our job, there were MANY defects. Paint drips on the walls, roller marks and streaks, roller spray on the shower stalls, paint on the wood work, some spots that were missed and not painted at all. In addition, there were 2 stains of spilled/dripped paint on our carpet. I can forgive a half dozen flaws, I understand that mishaps do happen, but there were more than 35 blemishes. Although Certapro did eventually force the contractor to return and correct nearly all the mistakes, but Certapro kept bringing that same contractor back to work on our home, even after we requested a different painter. I am very sorry that I cannot recommend Certapro of Grand Haven. Again, the representative and the scheduler were very helpful and responsive. My issue seems to be with the management of their sub-contractors. Certapro of Grand Haven must realize that the sub-contractors they hire are the “face of their company”, good or bad. And it is NOT my job to manage their subs.

I can't speak to the quality because they never got started. After much scheduling and rescheduling, on their part and mine (once), I finally cancelled. Last straw: on their 3rd reschedule they showed up but left because they needed a different crew to do my slatted ceiling. There were other rooms on the to do list but they chose to leave instead of getting started. No phone call to let me know -- just a note saying "Had to leave for a few", meaning, as I found out when I called them, that "a few" meant the next day.

We had a difficult home to paint, mix of old and new cedar shakes. Team did a nice job. Had to address a lot of drips and sags, but Evander was quick to correct the problems I pointed out. He was very accommodating and they worked hard. Crew may have rushed 2nd coats. Overall, pretty satisfied with our paint, we’ll see how it cures over the next few weeks. Also, had the same issues with communication. Crew showed up on a Saturday morning without notice when we were told they were coming the next week. Also, didn’t show up one day without a phone call until later that afternoon. They did a good job cleaning up. Deb was wonderful, letting us know what was going on even though she wasn’t always informed by her crews!

We had CertaPro Painters power wash the vinyl siding of our house and paint all the wood trim before we moved in. They did a fantastic job! They communicated very well each step of the way and were easy to work with. Our new house looks as good as brand new! I would highly recommend using CertaPro Painters. I will use their services again when I have a painting project that is larger than what I want to personally do on my own.

The quality of the work was great. Their coordinator Deb did a great job of letting us know what to expect. The team showed up as planned to do the power wash on the first day but due to the weather changing they were unable to paint the next day. We were told this would be rescheduled when the weather was better. Our only issue was that when they showed up to do the painting we were not told they were coming. They showed up at 8am in a Saturday and let themselves into the back yard. When I brought this up to Deb she apologized and was unaware they were coming that day. Otherwise she would have let us know. The guys worked diligently though and did a great job.

The responded in a timely manner and upon agreement of the details and costs I left the keys with them and they did the rest. While I was out of town they patched and painted the interior of my condo, set update photos of the project, and cleaned up upon completion. It was painless and they did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone seeking a professional and affordable paint job.

I just called CertaPro AGAIN. This time to have the INterior of my house painted. It was a huge job and the guys they sent out did it in 2 1/2 days. In addition, their estimate was $1500 LESS than the other two bids I received. I truly don't know why I bother anymore to get more bids. CertaPro always beats them. The work the two guys did was excellent. Such attention to detail. Dinged up walls are now flat and smooth. They were polite and kind and I felt very comfortable in their presence. They knew I needed the job done quickly and never complained about working 10-12 hours a day to get it done.
