Like the end result. There were a few issues though. The major one being the large screen on the bay window that was destroyed in the tear off of the old roof. I was promised several times by several people that it would be taken care of. Haven't seen or heard anything from them in weeks. Clean up was ok, the tear off phase was cleaned up well, but the daily and final cleanings were a bit less efficient. Only ended up with one tire repair. Still occasionally finding trimmings or fasteners. There's an area of both sides of the roof valley which looks unfinished, like a piece is missing, they insisted that was because of the way the valley laid. Just looks odd to me. The overall project took a lot longer than originally quoted, even taking in account a minor weather delay. Would I recommend them? Probably.

AMR people are very thorough and great to work with. The representative found issues in the attic pertaining to serious problems. Other roofing representatives never entered the attic to check. There has been a serious issue caused by the heavy snow amounts sliding off the roof and piling up on the decks! This is a cottage and we go there infrequently during the winter. When we arrived, there was 58 inches of snow piled and frozen on the decks! Two months later it took one day and three people to chop and scoop the snow off! That, we believe could have been predicted by the professionals and a possible preventative measure suggested.

Roof is beautiful. Installed in a timely manner. Yard cleaned up daily during installation. Some information from the salesperson about the flat roof section was incorrect. The crew lead tried to take my copper lightening rod cable which he knew I was keeping. It was under the trash in the bottom of their pickup box. I made them dig it out. Sad.

This company asked me whether I had a significant other or husband, implying that I, as a woman, did not have the authority to make decisions on my own, when I asked them to come out and give me a quote. I am the executor of the trust holding the property, but that is unrelated to whether I have a husband or significant other. Then, after I had stayed home waiting for their representative, they canceled 10 minutes before he was to be here.

I have never, nor do I expect to ever involve myself in a construction process or project that lacks glitches. The gratification comes from having the glitches attended, problems addressed and guarantee of satisfaction fulfilled. Additionally, throughout the process I was comfortable with the fact that how I felt about the process really mattered. My wish is that those considering AMR would come see my roof and ask my input and advice.

Outstanding quality and service. The communications from Lea we timely and professional. Clair was great to work with. Ben and his team did a great job. The installers all worked as a team and seemed to genuinely like working together. They did a winter install and it all looks awesome. The crew took pride in their work. They wanted to be sure we were satisfied wiit them. Never had second thoughts about them or their product. I will never have to worry about this roof! Highly recommend. I have offered to provide feedback to other potential customers. I was not incentiveized in any way to give this review.

Dont call them. They will stalk you to the end of the earth. Like a crazy ex. Email and phone calls constantly. They dont give up. I guess thats good for sales but bat for me. I have stated I was not interested but that does not slow them down.

I liked the idea of a metal roof because of its eye appeal/attractiveness, and the warranty, which is lifetime and transferable. I appreciated the care of the installation team and particularly the team leader. He sometimes made the team tear off and re-do areas he did not think were perfect enough. I enjoyed working with the Customer Concierge, Leah, and now Amber Thomas. They were personable, courteous, and expressed strong desire to help as needed. When I had a water run off issue after installation, Nate Westfell, who specializes in solving problem issues was sent to my home as soon as possible. He was a joy to work with. He was attentive, listened, analyzed the issue, and found solutions. Everyone I have mentioned including a short conversation with Vice President Dan Lane were very professional while also personable and courteous.

The salesman spent a couple hours with me explaining things and answering what questions I had. Received several calls from the office before any work started so I had an understanding of their work hours and how to tell who to talk to on the site if the questions or problems. Also received e-mails with this information.The work was done in a timely manner, the last thing done each day was clean up so the grounds looked like they did before work started. Had follow up calls and e-mails when the work was done to ensure I was satisfied. There was one little problem. Time was set u p for it to be corrected without any trouble.

It's unfortunate that we'll never know how good the installers or the end product might be, as they certainly have some glowing reviews. After being repeatedly assured by a show representative on Sunday that we could specify a preferred method of contact, we completed the card requesting email contact. Sales reps have since called and texted every day. When I finally spoke with one this morning, and told her that my husband would not attend the initial meeting, she put me on hold while she "checked the salesperson's schedules." Suddenly, there were no appointments available. American Metal Roofs sales department hounded me daily, then summarily dismissed me because I didn't fit their formula. Be aware of what you're signing up for when you submit your information.

I waited two weeks for a quote only to be called less than a half hour before the appointment to be told the installer could not make it. The person on the phone said they tried several times to reach me. I checked the number, they phoned once the day prior but did not leave a message. They did not text me as requested. They also had my email address.
