I hired O'Lyn to come re-roof my colonial. I hired them because of their reputation. It seems, however, that when you hire O'Lyn you are not sure to actually get one of their crews. A lot of their overflow work is sub-contracted. There is an entire part of the attic where the subcontractors forgot to put underlayment. As a result, during the summer months asphalt drips from that section of the attic onto everything below. O'Lyn came out, recognized the problem, complained that fixing it would involve tearing out the lumber on the entire section of the roof, promised to get back to me and never did. It's been four years now.

We hired O'lyn roofing to replace our roof, gutters and instal and chimney cap. The roof was replaced in 2 days, the crew worked fast and efficiently and they didn't impact our daily life whatsoever. They left the place completely clean. Their customer service is excellent, responsive and effective. The warranty that they provide gives us the peace of mind that we don't have to worry about our roof for years to come. One thing that we really enjoyed is that they went out of their way to sign the contract and start the job quickly. We are too busy for roofers that are too busy to return calls and do work on time. That is why we hired O'Lynn and I would recommend them to family and friends over anybody else without hesitation.

Garbage. Let photos of the quality of O'Lyn Roofs speak for themselves. Hey O'Lyn -- who pays for the cost of repairs caused by your shoddy craftsmanship? Is replacing my ceiling now covered by your warranty too?! O'Lyn does garbage work. The Roof Leaks after two years. You would think it would be covered under their "15 year Warranty on Labor", but good luck getting them to actually fix or replace anything. They will do anything they can to slither away from taking responsibility. I DO NOT WANT A WARRANTY -- I want a roof that does not leak!! The cost of the roof is cheap compared to the cost of the repairs now to my nursery ceiling. And now I have to worry, is there mold in my attic where my kids sleep? The people are nasty, the craftsmanship is shoddy, and the bulk of these "5 star reviews" were written on the same day... Just stay away.

We am very satisfied with our new Olyn roof. Mike St.Pierre was very conscientious and followed up any all of our questions and concerns. Olyn Roofing did the work for the price we were quoted and within the time frame they established. Previous to the replacement of the roof, we had been plagued by ice dams and leaks. Since the replacement of the roof last spring, we have had no problems even through this difficult winter of four major snow storms.. We would certainly recommend Olyn Roofing and use them again in the future.

I'll be honest I don't know how their roofing is, but the driver of the company van is probably the most dangerous, reckless driver's I've ever seen! In a 5 minute period I saw him texting, tailgate two people (including me), drive on the wrong side of the road in order to go screeching past someone, and drove what looked like 50mph on a residential street! If they're that much of a jerk on the road I am not inclined to work with them in a professional setting.

My wife and I replaced a large section of our asphalt roof, and also a small flat rubber roof. We were extremely pleased with all the work that O'Lyn did, even from the very beginning during the estimate. The roofs were done in one day, and they look great. In addition, we discovered a problem the next day: there were bits of tar all over our new paver driveway, and also oil left by the truck. A call in the morning brought out Todd and his assistant in a few hours. They fixed the problem completely. Thanks to O'Lyn for a job well done.

From the initial meeting with the sales team I was impressed. O'LYN Contractors is a well-oiled machine. The sales presentation is straight forward and no nonsense. The date is set and the team arrives on time and ready to go. Kevin Close managed every aspect of the project and his teams are seasoned veterans and completed my entire roof in one day. Upon completion Kevin returned to complete a walkthrough and do a final cleanup. If you need to replace your roof, this is the only contractor to consider. This is the first time in a long while that I've had no issues with a vendor or contractor, what a pleasant experience to have a company actually do what they promise. The new roof looks great. Nike was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done and the possible options. They completed all the work in one long day. Came back the next day to do final cleanup and then again a few days later to check on a possible problem (there wasn't one). Day of communication could have been better. Next door driveway was full of debris the day of but fully cleaned before they left. We were told the neighbors didn't have to move their car but they did anyway, luckily. Overall very satisfied.

From start to finish O'lyn's roofing was fabulous. Shawn was the salesman that came to give us a price on a asphalt shingle roof. He explained everything to us & gave Us a price right on the spot & explained additional cost that might accrue for underneath boards. There were no surprises. He gave Us a time frame as to when the job would start & he was right on the money. The supplies were delivered & the job started in a couple of days. Kevin was the crew chief very nice & professional while He was @ our property. While they stripped our roof the clean-up was as they went. Had a leak in my slate roof. Had Replaced A small rubber roof and some slate tiles did a good job clean up was good was happy till it turned to winter and the same leak is still leaking have been calling for a year now to get it fixed and im told they are busy and to call back in spring. Have called and left several messages and no response. Still dealing with a leak in the roof. Wouldnt go to them again...

The roof specialist Dan explained to me and my husband all the details about new roof and the budget. The contractor that did our roof were amazing and very nice. They arrived at 7:20 am until 7 pm, put the tarp on the floor and over the fence, screen protector kind of around the house. When we got home at night , everything was cleaned that no one would know that they were working outside. Great job O'lyn roofing!

When John and Diego and Crew came they found a problem with the sun room roof John said he need to open it up to find the problem and he did. 6 beams broken and rotted from snow it 2015. I hired O'Lyn to do repair work on my roof and I received great service from get go. My Diagnostic Specialist, Rick Mansueto was very helpful in guiding and advising me. He did not try to sell me on what I didn't need. He provided me with a no interest payment plan solution that fit my situation. The scheduler, Tanya, was very responsive. All the rainy days were challenging and she needed to postpone the repair of my roof a couple of times. She sensed my frustration with the weather caused delays and sent the crew out on Saturday to do the job. Mike and Guy, who worked on my roof, were very through and respectful of my property and explained to me what they were doing. O'Lyn went above and beyond by replacing a few shingles that were missing. They have been a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

O'Lyn just replaced a leaky skylight and did surrounding roof repair at my house. The result was clean and neat with great attention to the detail of the final appearance. Just as important to me, the installer showed me clearly what was done incorrectly by the original installation people. This is actually the fourth job O'Lyn has done for me, including one roof and two gutter replacements using new PVC to replace old wood. Each job has been perfect with no subsequent problems. I wish I could say this about all the contractors who have worked at my house. Strongly recommended!

I contacted O'Lyn and spoke with them about my need to fix a leak in a new roof, (2.5 yrs old). Also to replace attic fan. They gave me an appointment for soon after my request,(less than 2 weeks), for their rep to come and assess. He was here on time, wrote up an estimate, i paid a 10% deposit to get it on their books and we were set. The reason its 4 stars not 5 is there was a big delay between estimate and scheduled work. At a month I reached out to estimator. He cc'd me on request for date of work info from scheduler. No immediate response. Several weeks later I was contacted, an appointment for the work was set, the man showed when scheduled and performed the jobs quickly and safely and was polite with a sense of humor. I would use them again and recommend them.

New gutters and shingle and rubber roof in 2014. Aluminum gutters are not secure in all areas. Water leaking behind gutters. Loosening up from the house. After wrk was done in 2014 and they got paid i left messages and they wouldnt call me back. I even agreed for them to post pictures of their work while they were here. I wish i said no to that! They just ghost you close to when they are finished. Walked around with their salesman and he said they would call me but but they did not call me back. The job was verrry expensive!!!!! The office called me once in 2016 Woman left a message to see how i liked my new roof.

Our roof was very old and patched many times. We call different company for a quote. O'Lyn answered very fast. Mike St Pierre (the sales rep.) was fantastic. He came first time just to watch the roof and his condition, he looked at the roof, the chimney, the rubber roof over the porch, the vents. He took accurate measurements. He come the second time after few days with different options, showed the different kind of shingles and told us the pro and cons of each options, listened and answered all our doubts. The job was done fantastically, very professional. Left everything clean. A little expensive? maybe, but sure it worth the money and come with 10 years working warranty. We trusted Mike and we couldn't have been more pleased. I firmly recommend the company and use them again in the future.

I used O'Lyn roofing in 2013 to replace an aged roof. I met with Mike St Pierre who gave me the estimate and took time to explain all the work. The crew did everything exactly as was stipulated. No complaints at all, very satisfied. I was selling my house and did this because I felt the old roof would make my house less marketable . I consider the present owners to be lucky! They have a good roof and a warranty with O'Lyn! I have subsequently talked to a contractor friend who tells me: "yes, O'Lyn is a reputable company in an industry with a terrible reputation". (He meant the roofing industry). I am again in need of a new roof in my current residence and I called O'Lyn right away to do the job.

I am trying to contact O'Lyn to cancel a small project that was promised for December and never completed. O'Lyn does not have a functioning email address, communication is via some annoying robot that offers a phone calls but they don't call and when I call them they promise this and that but none happens. I can not recommend O'Lyn despite of their good reputation. Be prepared when you deal with them. Update: O'Lyn eventually returned the deposit, the promised work has not been done ( I managed to cancel it after some struggle). I still cannot say I would want them to fix my roof.
