I have done two projects with Seal It. We had expanding foam injected into our exterior walls and we had our attic spray foamed. They also removed all the old fiberglass insulation from the attic leaving us a nice clean usable space. There was virtually no interruption or inconvenience while the work was being done. They came, They Saw, They conquered!!!. I have 130 year old house with an unheated critter filled field stone crawlspace. The Wind and cold would whistle thru like a runaway freight train. The tech's came in fixed a portion of the wall that had partially collapsed. Did the trick with the spray foam and now we leave the door open because the heat from the furnace rises up the stairs. I do not know yet how much heat I saved but I am getting a nice refund from the oil company for unused oil. The Basement portion had water issues and because of the wind and cold would never dry, now that that problem has been eliminated, the water issues are a minor inconvenience that is easily dealt with. The critters are gone too, seems they don't like the foam. My regret is that I waited far too long to do this, should have been done a long time ago. The folks there are great to deal with. The end result is a nice warm house and not a single frozen pipe.

I've waited to write a review just to make sure my initial impressions on the product hold true, and they have! Our basement had the typical Maine feel, a coldness that quickly goes straight to the bones. Though we hadn't been in this "new-to-us" home long enough to feel the pinch on fuel costs, I could see the gauge on the oil tank drain down just to heat up the cold dampness penetrating into the house from outside the cement walls. Greg and his team delivered exactly what they presented to us and more. Greg was professional and honest with what we could improve, where and how to get the most benefit for the dollars we spent. We got a clean, professional job that made a tremendous improvement. the installation was quick, clean and very thorough. The foam spray in the basement has stopped the cold air from coming in...plain and simple. The basement is warmer and tighter, we all feel the difference. And though it's a typical basement, an unexpected benefit from the foam insulation is that space is cleaner, lighter and dry. It's become usable space when I expected just insulation to cut the heat loss. The straw that broke my back to get me to finally write this review happened this morning.. After a night of below zero temperatures, I went to the basement to make sure that I felt the same warmth and protection as I had 4 weeks ago during warmer weather, just after the insulation was put in..... It's the same! I did not feel any cold from outside!! I highly recommend Seal-it to anyone. I am a true supporter of the product and the team! Thank you!

Seal It Insulation Systems air sealed my basement with spray foam insulation from the ground / ledge / floor up to and including sills. A vapor barrier was installed over my dirt floor area and totally spray foam sealed keeping all moisture under this barrier and out of my basement. We immediately noticed a temperature difference in the living areas above basement. The company did a great job and the whole crew were great and efficient. I have heat pumps now and no furnace in my basement so I was worried about frozen pipes. That worry is now gone. Looking forward to lower energy bills.

We started the process late in the season, not getting our estimate until November, and thought we would have to wait until late January to have our project completed. Happily, some additional equipment came online which allowed our project to be moved up to early mid-December instead. Scott has introduced me to the benefits and applications of both open cell and closed cell foam. We have used both types for optimal peformance and value. Even with a tight schedule Seal It managed to fit me in. Their price was competitive and the finished product was very professional. No messes and no overspray or buildout beyond the wall/ceiling cavities. They didn't skimp on material either. Most spray foam companies slam a million staples into the masking plastic with a staple hammer. After they take the plastic off they leave all those half driven staples and clumps of plastic to contend with. Seal It used a staple gun and only used enough staples to do the job correctly. All the framing around the window and door openings was neat and clean when they were done. I will definitely hire them again.

We had Seal-It insulate the walls and install a vapor barrier on all the dirt floors of our basement. The 3-man crew did a fantastic job. First of all they laid down a plastic runner to protect our existing floors. Then they set up all the venting they would need, removing a screen from our dining room window. Their first job was to install vapor barrier on all floor areas. They even filled the void in the rock field in one portion of our basement with rock wool insulation before they installed the barrier. After the vapor barrier, they started spraying the walls with foam. sealing in the floor vapor barrier edge, so everything was covered. After that they sprayed all the foam with a fire-resistant paint, which brought the fire-resistance to the level of drywall. Our old dark, damp, smelly basement is now bright, dry and NO SMELL. Then they cleaned up. Anything that was moved was put back into place. The basement was vacuumed to clean up anything on the floors. They removed the plastic runner and even remembered to put the screen back in! I was impressed! They even pointed out to my husband some old holes in our vent piping for our furnace--something we have already repaired. My husband and I could immediately tell the difference in the warmth of our old floors. And we haven't even had cold weather yet! Based on the improvement in what we are already feeling, we are actually excited to figure out just how much we are saving on heating oil. I would highly recommend Seal-It. They showed up when they said they would and did the job they said they would at the contract price. They were recommended to me by a friend and I am recommending them, in turn.
