Certa is definitely the cheapest painting in town. But as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. The so called painting consultant they offer is a scam. She didn't bring any of the colors she knew we wanted to our meeting, claiming she forgot them. She acted like she had a sense of the colors we wanted but when we received her package in the mail with the samples only 2 of them were what we asked for. The rest were wildly off base. When we asked her to come back she said it was "on us" and we would have to pay a $100 for her to return. So she has a nice little scam going on there. Next, painters just randomly showed up one day to paint. We were not given any notice and we had not even picked out a paint color! To this day we have no clue what color they were about to paint our house. And had we not been here to stop them ...I don't know. Get a lawyer I guess? Fortunately we were here and could intervene but none of the workers speak English very well so was difficult to communicate the issue. And the staff at Certa Pro was not apologetic at all. In fact they acted like it was no big deal saying they didn't know why the painters showed up. When we finally picked a color, the painters again showed up without notice. After we specifically asked to be notified at least 24 hours before their arrival. I work from home and it is very inconvenient to have a group of men banging around outside. Again they spoke very little English so communicating with them was difficult. They were nice guys, and this is not their fault at all. It is entirely the responsibility of management to communicate their expectations clearly and meet the needs of the customers. However, the workers were sloppy. They damaged our property, smoked on the property and left cigarette butts in the yard, paint smeared all over grass and siding and trim, debris left everywhere. They did finish the job is less than 3 days, so it's impressive but sloppy work. Next time we'll go for the $8k painter to get the quality we were looking for.

The office staff, especially Rhoda Forsyth, was friendly and helpful. We had a painting crew of five, lead by Santo Carvajal, who did a truly outstanding job. Each day, they arrived on time, worked diligently and efficiently, and completed the project in just two days. Before finishing the job, they had us review their work, they touched up a handful of blemishes, and cleaned up the worksite. Absolutely awesome!!!

Excellent experience from meeting with the estimator (Matt) to having deck painted by Ben and then to having nearly all of the interior done by Ryan and Michael! Everyone was so nice and professional--meaning that they gave me the information I needed in a manner that instilled confidence, showed up when expected and worked really hard and efficiently while here, and kept me informed about what they were doing and what would be coming up next. They even accommodated a few scheduling needs from my end that required some adjustments to the work plan. And most importantly, the work all looks great! My only regret is that I didn't have this project done years ago because our house looks so much better now and they made the process easier than expected! I would definitely use CertaPro again for future projects.

The CertaPro Staff was very professional, courteous, respectful of my time and opinion. They were on time, with staff and personnel but the most important thing to me was they kept me informed of what was going on and when. We've had Certa Pro do two jobs for us so far. Paint on the outside of our house had chipped away due to exposure. I thought we'd have to wait a long time to find painters. Scott fit us into their very busy schedule. The team did an excellent job. Later in the year, we needed our porches and deck painted before winter set in. Scott got us into the queue and the work was done before winter storms hit. Again, the team did a great job. We are thinking about hiring Certa pro for an indoor job very soon.

We recently hired Certapro for a 3 building project. As a former painter, I was a little leery of the "box store" reputation that this large company comes with. We hired them for the cost, and crossed our fingers. I am here to tell you that you should not hesitate to use them. They come with a large crew that works fast and efficiently. They are pleasant, responsive, respectful and make sure you are happy with the job before signing off. They did a fantastic job on all 3 buildings, power washing, scraping where needed and 2 coats. From start to finish, including the bid process, this company completed a very large project in less than a week. They used the product I wanted, not a cheap brand, and they cleaned up perfectly and were gone before you knew it. I highly highly recommend them!

Making the decision to paint our home was a huge decision because it came with numerous question marks. So, I began with making of list of companies in our area in order to gather estimates. It is always good to get estimates - but not because the dollar amount is the bottom line. It's really about who I am doing business with. I met with several people who came to my house to review my request - yet for me it was all about the exchange - who I felt was the best match on a business and personal level. When I met Matt I was in a bit of a hurry, yet he was able to meet me right where I was by providing active listening and then delivered professional feedback. Stellar! I received the estimate within 24 hours - it it left no stone unturned (it was awesome - meaning, pure clarity and gave me options). The next step of reviewing and confirming the estimate with Matt, was a blend of professional excellence, personal interest (more active listening on his part regarding my questions about color), and a mild twist of humor as new friends do. Over all - this getting the estimate/prepainitng experience with Matt/CertaPro Painters -was a 5-star event.

The estimate came in UNDER by $200 of what I had been quoted by craigslist contractors - AND they can get it done in a faster time frame. Also their work is guaranteed and they won't job hop - after dealing with contractors that is a much welcome change.
