I haven't used them and I never will because of their long drawn out and dull advertisements they constantly play on sports radio. Even in the newest ad they admit people are tired of hearing it. The fake testimonial is just too long and you don't need to keep rehashing the same testimonial. Make something new and shorter and I'll delete this review.

I hired certa pro painters to paint the exterior of my home. The painter they assigned to the job, was less than professional, poor quality of work, didn't even consider the contract that was signed. Was to scrape and paint. Very minimal to no scraping was done. 2 coats turned into a spotty 2 coats where ever the ladder landed against my home. Missed alot of places where no paint was even applyed. Never finished the total job, and left my house incomplete. Paint on my back deck,window screens, outside lights and on new hose reel. Very disappointed in certa pro and the painter they sent to my home here in Maine. Will never recommend certa pro to any of the people I know, as they still have the unprofessional painter under their employment.Very disappointed, frustrated, and completely unsatisfied. They are unreliable at best. Contracted end of July, all they had to paint was the front and right side of our home. Here it is middle of October, they call me and say they can't finish before its to cold to paint and just walked away from my home.

Not more than 2 months after completing a double-coat paint on the exterior, we have chipping, peeling,and bubbling. These things should not have occurred from a company professing there experience & professionalism. I will get a second opinion before having them come out to touch-up per the warranty/guarantee. For the amount I paid, I am not a happy customer. I'll post an update when the time comes. ***updated 6/14/18 The above problems occurred, partly, as the wood siding was not allowed to dry appropriately. Amateur mistake. CertaPro was to be out early Spring after snowmelt for warranty assessment. Both have passed. BBB seems like a better ***updated 8/14/18 Yes...still waiting for a total house redo as the owner, Peter Stearns, agreed the work was the worst his crew had done. Looks like court will happen before a re-paint.

I looked around for painters to paint my basement walls and floor but found many did not have experience painting basements. I contacted CertaPro and found them to be very professional, responsive, and had the expertise I needed for my job. They did a great setting expectations, explaining what to expect, how long it would likely take, timing, etc. The painters they sent were very good, personable, professional, and did an outstanding job on my basement.

Exceptionally impressive team and a top-notch job. The sales person, Frank Davenport, returned my call quickly. Within a few short days he was at my house and gave me a comprehensive walk-through of the proposal and explained the cost break-down. Frank knew that I had a very tight deadline in order to have this job done before my sons first birthday and he went well above and beyond to make it happen. The crew that came to my home was nothing short of impressive. They were polite, respectful, professional and took tremendous pride in the quality of their work. In the unfortunate words of another painter I had look at my home, they were able to “polish my turd” and made this 1840’s farmhouse look brand new again. I highly recommend Frank Davenport, Certapro painters of Maine and their team. As someone who has renovated many homes over the years and had a difficult time finding the right people to do my work, I can say with confidence that I will definitely hire them again.
