Excellent customer service. Cara, who handled our call, was professional and courteous on the phone. When an earlier appointment came up, she contacted us so we could get our gas line installed earlier. Mike and Tristan were professional and courteous and knew what they were doing. They did and excellent job running a gas line for installing a gas stove. They provided excellent customer service! Job well done and keep up the good work! We highly recommend them and will definitely contact them when we need their services.

Do not use this company!!!! When requesting a quote for installation of a water heater they stated they will need to do an on-site quote. American does not tell you that you will be charged a "service fee" in connection with the quote. Also, the service charge is $65, not $49 as stated on their web-site. The installation quote was almost double other companies that performed a FREE on-site quote. Finally, I was told by the American rep that I needed to go find and buy the equipment. Waste of time and money. UPDATE: I attempted to delete the review after my money was refunded in exchange for removal of the post. I am just now seeing that the post did not delete and the "from owner response." The response contains several misstatements and is frankly not true. Use this company at your own risk.

When I called them the other day I had a great first impression. The person who answered the phone was friendly and helpful, that extended to the plumber as well. They arrived quickly and took care of my pipe leak in no time. I was happy with the work and the people, so I would definitely use them again!

Today the plumbers came out to my house to resolve a few problems I had with my house. They were awesome and fixed my low pressure sinks and my leaky toliet. The prices are reasonable for the excellent service. The service was prompt on time, fast resolve and very polite people. I will be calling them again to change my faucets and for any future services

Bad experience, possibly a con. I called to have them auger the sewer pipe at one of my rental properties.I usually have to do it every 3 years or so, so I know about the price but asked for ballpark quote. 140 plus 59 service call. Ok, that's about ballpark. I get a call from the person on site to say that it would need the clean out redone properly for 1175 dollars!!! i replied that he was not replacing the sewer pipe just auguring it out and could use the existing hole in sewer pipe to auger, to which he responded he was not putting his hands in that (kinda your job) I responded he only needed to get the auger in the pipe and that's what they make gloves for. I stated that 200 to 1175 was far to much of a jump for me to feel comfortable with. He stated he would call his boss and see what could be done. I went to the property with in 10 mins and he was not there. My tenets said he told them he was going to his truck and would be right back. He left and never called me back. This appears to be gouging at the worst and really bad service at best. I may follow up with the contractor board and the attorney general's office. Replying to the owner: $1175? I wasn't rude I was appalled, Just had it cleaned for 200. After reviewing other complaints I see a pattern. You charge $59 service fee then hit the customer with an inflated quote either way you win. Your way of operating a business seems very close to fraud. Also your company was told your services where no longer needed and you trespassed on my property?

Updated review: We had a disappointing experience with American Plumbing and ultimately went with another plumber. However, after the owner learned experience, he rectified the situation by reimbursing what we paid. While I was not pleased with our initial experience, I do have to say that their customer service is great and this does show how the owner wishes to run his business.

Very satisfied customer - Called Amer. Plumb. about a clogged toilet. Customer service called the day before to remind me & the plumber called the day of to say what time I could expect them. When the plumbers (Tristan and Troy) arrived, they told me up-front what they were going to try as a first step and the price. If that didn't work, they would discuss the next step and fees before proceeding. They had to work a while to solve the pbm but were successful so we (luckily) didn't have to take it to the next step. Both plumbers were courteous and professional. I'm very pleased with Amer Plumb. and their team.

A bad smell in the lower level of my new home prompted me to call these guys in the wee hours of a Sunday morning. By 3:30am the backup of raw sewage that was coming up into my basement was gone...and the disaster was averted! We have a 33 year old 2 story home and discovered a hot water slab leak. I had visions of torn up wood and brick floors. Terry smith investigated the problem, developed a repair plan and completed the project successfully with minimal ceiling intrusion and no floor work at all. We needed someone to locate and pressure test old (60+ year) gas lines to 2 houses. American Plumbing came out the very next day. They did a fantastic job of locating , trouble-shooting , repairing and pressure testing the lines. The charges were reasonable and they gave is a senior discount, too.

Let me begin by saying every review is based on personal experience, this is just my own. I made a service call on the week of June, explained my problem and made it a point to explain that this was more than a simple cleaning ( I remember saying something along the lines of- this is more extensive than running a snake, we have already done that and did not solve problem). To my surprise this is just what plumber did. After arriving a few hours later than what I was scheduled he did just what I had suggested not to do, charged service fee plus labor and called it a day. That same night I got home to find the same issue was still occurring, I contacted the gentleman who did the work immediately who said he would notify office to get back to me. 1:00p.m. later that day nobody had contacted me so I called office and spoke to the lady who schedules plumber (who by the way seemed to be oblivious to getting any notification from plumber regarding my issue). I explained situation again, to which she said she could call me back. Later on following day I received a callback she explained she could send out a rep the following Tuesday, and that I would again get charged service fee. I was not happy to hear that , after paying to fix a problem that had not been fixed and being told I would have to pay just to have him go back out and reassess problem seems like bad business. Still, plumbing is not working, I need to have it fixed so I set up for that opening. Tuesday came around, to much of my disappointment nobody showed up. Upon contacting office they said we had set up appointment for Thursday. I chose to cancel and will try to fix this with hopefully a more reliable provider.

Our bathtub was backing up we flushed our toilet (so gross) and we needed a plumber. I was lucky to find these guys. They do great work, they are honest, and they are very price competitive. They did a great job for us. I highly recommend Complete Plumbing Solutions for the following reasons: They were responsive and came at an exact hour. They quickly diagnosed the problem and showed us their fee for doing the work. He broke down the cost for every imaginable plumbing item that he could encounter. I hate when I feel a plumber is pulling a number out of the air based on how much we can afford. The price for our work was a good price. Even though the job took much longer than he anticipated because of the mistakes of a past plumber he was still professional and fixed all of the previous errors. He thoroughly explained the problem to my wife and said that he would follow in a few days to see how the issue was resolved. Great experience.

Let me start by saying I have nothing to report but positive regarding my experience with American Plumbing. Terry and his guys did an excellent job getting my senior in-law's plumbing back in shape after 57" of water in their home after the August '16 flood. The work ranged from renovation to drainage issues. They are now back in their home and couldn't be more pleased (I'm entering this review for them due to their lack of an "e-mailer").

We called American Plumbing for some repairs after the extensive flooding in Baton Rouge. At the time, it was VERY difficult to find quality workmen who were honest and reliable. Among the many tradesmen who have visited our home for repairs over the last nine months, American Plumbing has stood out among the others as being the ONLY business that (1) came immediately after the first call to look at our work, (2) provided a prompt written estimate that was fair and complete, (3) completed the work ON TIME, (4) completed the work for the price originally agreed upon without trying to gouge us like many other tradesmen had done during our repairs, and (5) provided consistently high quality work throughout the job. Our work included installing several toilets (including installing a new flange in one bathroom), redoing the plumbing lines for a tub to shower conversion, rerouting some plumbing lines to move sinks, installing four sinks and related plumbing, installing a garbage disposal and dishwasher, replacing plumbing lines to the washing machine, repairing and replacing various faucets, and ensuring the sewer line was clear. This was a very involved job that required multiple days on site... for which they always arrived on time, with a call at the start of each day to confirm when they would arrive. In this time when so many tradesmen are taking advantage of customers and providing sloppy work, it was truly a Godsend to find a company that was fair and competent. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND American Plumbing.

Used this company once before when I had a small plumbing issue and was very satisfied. So when I needed a gas line tested for meter to be hooked up, I called them up as I had talked to them about this the last time and they did a good job on precious job. Scheduled an appointment and the day of, no call or show at time of appointment. So I called 20 minutes after appointment and was told he was running behind of first job. Ok, that happens. So an hour later still no show or call. Called them and said he was still behind, but they would call he back in a couple minutes with an estimated time. Still no call. So took off work and waiting for them to call and show and just have to wait. Tw and a half hours after scheduled appointment, called back and was told he was still backed up on first job , but would get a call by 12:30 when he could get there and if not they would send someone. That time cane and went. Patience tested and at 2:00 call and see what’s up. They say he’s still there and not coming today. They were like we can reschedule. Can’t do that as I would have to take off work again to do so and don’t want to wait all day. So after no calls and no show I just cancel appointment. Totally disappointed in this company and won’t use again. Update - After talking with the owner, he was able to do some leg work and help with information of what needed to be done. He ended up getting the gas line tested and no issues and took no time at all.
