CertaPro Painters of Shawnee Mission are Incredible. Linsey is very friendly and knowledgeable and is such a joy to work with. Sarah guided us throughout the process and is such a pleasure to work with as well. We had our interior and exterior home painted and Wow, it looks Amazing!!! Our paint crew made our home look Beautiful again, they do such great work. The guys were such a delight to work with and see every morning. Great prices and great work. Hurry and call them and schedule your paint projects and fall in love with your home again.

Completely overpriced for the quality of work. There are streaks of paint on the wall as well as paint on the wood trim. The painters were nice however showed up in a van that belonged to a sober living house, which was awkward to explain to the neighbors. I paid nearly $900 for what was said to be needed due to prepping the walls. The walls were then just mudded over and sanded, this was not what was discussed. I will not be using this company again.

This past Fall I used CertaPro (Greg & Janae) to paint my house. All I can say is that I'm very satisfied with the job that was done. Both regarding the actually painting, but also in regards to their team and the attitudes and friendliness all of them displayed. My house project had a couple glitches in it due to a different outfit not being very punctual with installing a couple windows. But CertaPro worked around that and actually went out of their way even though it inconvenienced them. Like I said, very happy with the way it all turned out. Would highly recommend.

The quality of work is absolutely horrendous for what we paid. They only give you 30 days to report any problems and honestly as bad as the work is I’m still finding flaws a year later! My gutter is the old color on one side because they went over it super fast with a roller and didn’t get one side of the ridges, they painted over peeling paint, the new boards they put up have gaps in them and don’t sit flush with the house, there are bad spots in the siding they missed and didn’t fix, bent L shaped nails sticking or that weren’t hammered in properly. We were told they would fix every popped nail head, they didn’t, or hey stuck a very sloppy glob of caulk over them. We had to yell at the workers to cover up the exposed insulation that was getting rained on so we didn’t end up with mold in the walls. There’s NO WAY their people are “master craftsmen” like they claim. I’m STILL finding screws and nails in my flower beds from them a year later. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else, even if it costs more.

The crew spent several days painting and were clean and respectful the whole time. At one point, there was a problem with the paint. The price was good, the work was done quickly after the first year, I would have given them 4 or 5 stars. In less than two years, the paint started to chip, flake and peel from the house. It was obvious from the systemic issues that the problems were due to poor prep work on their part. We contacted them and they told us the work was out of warranty. Furthermore, their position was that the paint used was at fault (Sherwin Williams). CertaPro's agent was the one who pushed us into paying for the more costly paint, saying it was the best product on the market. Sherwin William's reviewed our issues and said it was clearly a surface prep problem. CertaPro then had the audacity to use before and after shots of our home on their home page for marketing purposes. Rediculous! And horrendous customer service. Never again.

**** After this review the owner Greg contacted me & fixed the issues I addressed in my prior post - it took a bit of doing but ultimately happy with the work. Greg made sure it was done right, I appreciate he stayed on top of the job to be sure we were happy!! Thank you I've never written a review for a company either positive or negative. I have given Certa Pro several opportunities to remedy my situation but they have failed to contact me regarding an email I sent about the job their contractors did on my house. I'll list my issues here: Greg's contractors painted our house last October or November and in the spring when we wanted to open the windows we realized that a number of them had been painted shut! In addition, this summer we were cleaning the windows instead of them just being dirty they hadn't actually been scraped! When removing the storm windows in order to get them open we realized that instead of the wood rot being repaired your staff had just painted over it!!! There is a lot of peeling around the outside of the house, after less than a year that shouldn't be happening! We have been doing some remodeling and needed to do repairs on the outside of the house and discovered that you hadn't left any of the leftover paint so I went to Sherwin Williams and spent $50.00 on a gallon that turned out to be the wrong sheen! I am disappointed in the work your painters did and will not recommend you or CertaPro. As a business owner myself I figured this is something I would want to know.

The team of 4 painters were the utmost professional & courteous painters we’ve ever had ( we move often & have had many professional painting crews ). The interior of our grand, historic home has come alive now with the expert workmanship of this team! We look forward to them returning in the Spring to do our exterior as well.
