This company is a joke when you have an emergency after hours. We had to have a bad part changed this afternoon. Furnace isn't working now. Called to have them come back out. Their on call guy wouldn't pick up the phone when dispatch called him. The technician that was actually out earlier today lives 30 seconds from me. Dispatch wouldn't call him. Did I mention it's 20 degrees outside? Dispatch is sitting in Phoenix nice and warm. Heard someone else talking so I asked to speak with him. That was her neighbor. Ohhh... Party going on after hours at One Hour. She did tell me to have a nice evening right before she hung up on me.

The service Tech Brian W. Was very helpful and informative when he serviced our air conditioning unit. He explained the filter mechanics and the importance of the proper filter usage for our unit. A MicroPower Guard polarized Media Air Cleaner was installed to our unit. He explained how to change future filters to my husband and I. We were left feeling very confident and assured that our unit was now running with the best product that would enhance and prolong the life of our heating and air conditioning unit. This is a two part review: (They called themselves Benjamin Franklin Plumbing) 1. We called on Saturday, 7/15/2017, for an appointment to repair a main supply line. Spoke to a lady who escalated the request and had a Supervisor call me as the next appointment would be Monday and I needed something sooner. Well, I got a call back after I had another company call me and tell me that they could be here on Sunday morning. The technician stated that he would not get in the crawl space with a 1/4 inch of water. So I cancelled. P.S. Summers Plumbing was able to get under there without issue and had it replaced within a few hours. 2. I just received another call, 7/20/2017, stating that a technician was coming out to resolve our issue. I politely stated that I was a bit confused and continued to explain that we had a main water line break and had already found someone to fix it. Her reply was, "Your address is ##### ###?" I said, "Yes." and she stated that there was a request to replace two toilet flanges. Something isn't right with this company and cannot make a recommendation other than continue your search.

Chad (Comfort Advisor) came out to our house and gave us an estimate of replacing our heat pump with a Bryant 14SEER and air handler. He was knowledgeable and professional. He worked with us a bit on price and got us scheduled for replacement the very next day. Miguel and another gentleman were our installers and they did a great job, were very quiet and respectful, and thorough. I've used One Hour Air before and it was a pleasure doing business with them. I think their prices are a little high, but their turnaround time was great.

They spread out tarps on my floors so there was not any mess whatsoever, they went about their work efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. My technician, Darren, was excellent. On time, professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly! He provided me info and quotes on other services that I needed to handle ASAP. I called in today to confirm quotes and schedule and I waited on hold for over 15 minutes before anyone answered my initial call. The young lady, Yarella (sp?), didn't seem to know what she needed to do. She placed me on hold then said she needed to transfer me to the store for scheduling. She ended up hanging up on me rather than transferring after I had been on the line over 23 minutes. I gave her all my contact information and she failed to even attempt to call me back to get my situation taken care of.. This company is making it very difficult for me to give them my money. I called Mr. Quick and they are scheduled to do a full duct cleaning on Saturday unless I hear back from One Hour.... Darren gets 5 stars, the rest of my experience gets 0. ***EDITED*** Luckily, Darren provided me with his direct contact info on my previous receipt. I contacted him and he took care of everything for me. I never heard back from the other individual. VERY poor customer service with your call center, but Darren saved this 1-star review and made it a 5.

Install went great and the team were friendly and helpful. Spent $5000 for a new ac unit, took the day off work to be home while they installed it. Were able to install same day!!! Unit isn't cooling my house! Call in to get some help and told they will be out first thing this morning. No call no show by noon. Call them and they have no record of me setting the appointment the night before. So now they tell me the earliest they can come check it out is on Tuesday!!! Sure did move quick when they wanted the money. Now nobody is available! Awful customer service on the repair or follow up side!

My tech today, Shannon W., was very thorough and professional. (Everything else I say from here on applies to Shannon, but it also applies to all techs that have been to our home.) They have always had an answer to my questions. They take the time to teach me about my home unit as they go along. They offer suggestion for improving or upgrading my unit, but are never "high pressure" about it. That part I really appreciate! They give me options! I have recommended One Hour to others. Over priced. Way way over priced. I said no thanks to a $1000 service call and called Masters who offered the same service for half the price. Absolutely will like to you about the price of parts. A furnace circuit board DOES NOT cost $1000. Hell, it don't even cost $100. "We offer payment plans" they tell me. Why, so I can pay the price of the part 10 times. I'll never call them again. Update 1 day laterH: Had nothing to do with what I was told they were wanting to replace. How are you gonna lie to a 9 month pregnant woman on the coldest day of the year about her furnace to try and charge her an astronomical price to fix it and stay warm? Disgusting business practice.

I really like One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Indianapolis. They are on time. If the schedule changes, they call and let me know in advance. They install my filters, review what they did, if something is wrong they will explain it to me and discuss options. I have a maintenance agreement and they work with me to remind when I am due for the next appointment. If I ever have an issue, since I have maintenance agreement, I go to top of the list. Nate actually found that the original diagnosis was incorrect and and completed a thorough investigation with the Bryant consultant’s additional expertise. Nate was very professional, thorough and would ask for him personally for all my HVAC issues/ tune ups. We also found that he was here before and guided my decision to purchase a UV air cleaner which I am very happy with.

I cant even begin to describe how unbelievable this company is. For the sake of saving a homeowner some frustration and money - go with another company! First, they told me someone huffed 9 lbs of Freon from my system and charged me to fill it up! When really is was a leak and should have been fixed under warranty. Now that is has happened again, and it is not under warranty, they want to charge me to fix it or sell me a new one. It also took 4 technicians to find the problem. The first one said it was electrical and I needed an entire new electrical box and sent out their sister company Mr Sparky. The electric is fine. This company is a joke. The problem is clearly rooted from the way it was installed. If you want poorly installed system by untrained techs, go with Dial One Hour.

We cannot over state how good an experience we had with Darrell, our serviceman. He was on time. He was enthusiastic times two. Not only was Darrell very knowledgeable (we could judge this since my sister-in-law managed an HVAC dealership in another city, amd I had been in construction), but he was looking for ways to help us, rather than ways to charge us. He explained the potential problem he found in our system, and then he explained how he proposed to address it under warranty. We have previously had serious problems with unethical technicians at other firms, so finding One Hour and Darrell feels like manna from heaven. We highly recommend Darrell to other customers while he is available- I have a feeling that he is really going places in the business!

I have no complaints with the work done by One Hour's technicians. They have always done a good job, and it has held up well so far. They have all been very professional and go out of their way to do the best they can for you. My biggest complaint is something you'll run into if you buy a new system from them. I am constantly getting calls from call centers representing One Hour that are trying to sell me extended warranties and service plans. I've received several high-pressure sales calls that sounded, in tone of voice, like someone trying to be helpful but had undertones closer to threats.

I have always had good results with One Hour heating and Air. In 2010 they installed a new furnace I've been on the maintenance plan where they check ac and furnace once a year. I had the furnace checked in Nov 2017 as usually. Then I had a funny smell coming from the vents . I called one hour and they responded the same day. Travis S. was the tech who came out, there was no smell, and after checking the furnace again good found nothing wrong. Travis explained that sometimes if the wind is in the right direction I could be picking up odors from factories, incinerators, or other business with smokestacks that let off fumes. Travis said watch the wind and see if I smelled the odor when the wind was southwest which is the direction of our industrial park. Travis was very patient in explaining things to me. I've had many different techs out over the years and they are all top gentlemen..On time, courteous, clean,respect your property , and great at their job. Thanks Travis

It's really a mystery to me how this company stays in business. I would give negative stars if that were possible. 9 years ago I purchased the very best electric furnace heat pump combo unit that Bryant manufactured along with a whole house humidifier and an electrostatic air purifier in addition to a 13 year extended warranty from One Hour. The humidifier was replaced 3 times due to faulty equipment and then replaced a fourth time with a different brand and it never worked properly either. I finally gave up and just unhooked it. Similar story with the air cleaner. Finally gave up on that also and just turned it off. Fortunately Bryant makes a good furnace and it has been trouble free. Since the date of purchase 9 years ago One Hour has made scheduling normal periodic maintenance so ridiculously difficult that many years I have only been able to get one routine maintenance appointment fulfilled. It is typical for them to require you to schedule routine maintenance 3 and 4 months in advance and then if something comes up and you need to reschedule you are pushed out 3 to 4 months AGAIN. Then they threaten to void your warranty if you don't have service appointments every 6 months. I called Bryant and was told that One Hour was wrong to tell me that and that my manufacturer warranty would be honored under any circumstance. Heaven help you if you want to actually talk with a technician or a service manager in the local One Hour office to make a complaint. Even though they have local phone numbers in the Yellow Page ads all calls to the local numbers get routed to the out of state national call center. The bottom line is One Hour is just not customer friendly and seem even antagonistic to you after you have made an initial purchase. I know that I would NEVER EVER buy from them again and I tell everyone who asks me for a recommendation to avoid One Hour like the plague.

It all comes down to honesty for me, The guy who came was very nice, and seemed knowledgeable, he did know some of what he was talking about, in all honestly I don't know how far or how much he actually looked at our furnace?? However to my husband & I both, his main goal was to JUST sell us a whole new system, heating and air. It's the start of January and honestly our air conditioner, the last time we used it was fine. Our issue was with our furnace. He tried all the scare tactics he could come up with, to scare us into just going ahead and buying now. Thankfully we sought out other opinions, and both of the other two companies, that did look and go further in than he did, both said that our furnace does not need to be replaced yet, so that was good news for us! They seemed disappointed to know that this guy from this company was not completely honest with us. Bottom line why I gave ONLY two stars was because of the dishonesty & his over all goal to just sell us a new total new system, when in actuality that's not what we needed right now. I am so so glad that my husband wanted to get multiple opinions first, before making a decision. Also this company is one of the highest out there price wise, so if your trying to get your work done at a reasonable rate, and want a company who cares, and knows what they are doing, and their technicians know what they are doing, make sure to do your homework. Yes a good tech is going to cost you, but the work will be well done, and worth the money you paid. For us we have decided to go with a smaller but much more caring and knowledgeable company that is local.

Called them out to look at an issue on my furnace. I knew there was a blown fuse. The guy came out and found a short at thermostat. The guy was there about 45 minutes. Nice guy so let's get that out of the way. When he was done, he said the bill would be 315.00. I asked him how that made sense since he all he put in was a 3.00 fuse and stripped 4-5 wires. He said they were not billing hourly but by the job. He did not tell me this until the end. 24 hours later the furnace would not work again. I called them back, While on hold, there advertisement talked about how they would tell you the price BEFORE they do the work. That did not happen. A new guy came out (Ryan) and found a problem and fixed it....again, great guy. I called and asked for a manager. The manager called me back and said that they SHOULD have told me the price before he did the original repair and that he was sorry. He did not offer to take anything off of the cost even though they violated their own policy (as admitted by the manager). So I ended up paying 89.00 for the diagnostic and 228.00 to have a fuse put in and 4-5 wires stripped and connected. With the Tech only being there 45 minutes, that comes out to about 300.00 per hour labor. I will not use their service again and suggest you go with a private firm that will not rip you off. The "guarantee" is worthless.

Really disappointed in the service I received from this provider. They seem to advertise great service, but every time I call them they are 2-3 days out before anyone can come look at your unit. They also stated that if your unit is more than 10 years old you can get same day service, but newer unit they will schedule you when they availability. I would not recommend this company for service in the middle of the summer if your AC unit is out.

Austin was AWESOME. He was able to solve an ongoing problem from previous years that had never been resolved. It took him nearly 7 hours to correct some changes that had been done to our system that was causing an overheating problem. Austin explained everything he did in terms we could understand and was very professional. We are so happy that it was Austin B that showed up today to troubleshoot and fix the problem with our furnace.

Needed my compressor and a few other items replaced. It took a week to order the parts and schedule an appointment. Once the nice gentlemen arrived, he found out the wrong part was ordered. He said the company would call reschedule for 4 days later. They never called. We had to call to get an appointment. Then the nail in the coffin was a 4-6 hour job lasted over 11 hours. The guy was super nice and curteous and I have had good service, but I will look around for another company now.

Every time I call these guys they send the same "technician" out. He comes out looks at the units(from a distance) and tells me these units are old and I need to replace them. The first time I agreed and replaced both inside and out. The last time he came out same thing but I didn't agree with him and it turned out to be a blown fuse. Now I keep getting phone calls from them. I have talked to people over the phone and asked to be removed from any call list, I have gone to one of their locations and have asked to be removed(each time I am told they will make sure I am removed) yet I still get calls....REMOVE ME FROM ALL OF YOUR CALL LISTS...so this was October/November 2017....UPDATE.... it is now March 2018 and I am still receiving messages about the service contract that "AUTO RENEWED" in June of 2017 that got all of this started I didn't want the contract I have talked to a total of 12 different people and was told every time they would take care of my issue. Well guess what...still have issue. I get a message today about the contract. I called to get out again and I was told they could cancel the service which is what I was told in Sept., and October of 2017. I want my money back from "Auto renewal" and out of this contract out of this company, but it has to go through a "REVIEW AND APPROVAL" process. This place is a joke. The supposed "OWNER" of the company replied to my first part and that has done nothing. Maybe he or she should look up my info on my account and call me, but that won't happen.
