Absolutely terrible experience with this company! Whatever you do, don't sign any paperwork with them as then you are stuck with them. They have bad follow through, poor communication, and they try to screw you and the insurance company in every way imaginable. My insurance company was surprisingly very pleasant to work with in a roofing claim, and Hoosier has been nothing but a nightmare. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

This Company is walking around the neighborhood and they will ask you to have free roof inspection to see if you have storm and hail damage. They will hand you a piece of paper to sign it. Don't sign that paper.

Hoosier Contractors stopped by my house one evening and wanted to give me a free inspection. They said they work closely with insurance companies to get them to pay for roof replacements and other repairs for damages stemming from hail damage. I was incredibly skeptical that they would get anything paid for because I had several other companies try before in the past without any luck. They went the extra mile to provide a public adjuster after the All State Insurance adjuster denied my claim. I am happy to say that at the end of the process they were able to get All State to pay for a new roof and gutters/downspouts. I was shocked and very satisfied with Hoosier Contractors!!

I had a really good experience with Hoosier Contractors. One of their guys came over and asked to climb on my roof, which I was happy to have him do because I knew we needed a new roof. I ended up signing a contract that I would use them if they could get the insurance company to buy the roof. After reading reviews about Hoosier, I was worried that I was going to have a terrible experience. But that wasn't the case. They were professional and showed up when they said they would. Also, one of the Hoosier guys met my insurance adjuster and I'm pretty certain that the Hoosier dude helped convince the adjuster to buy the whole roof rather than just repair it. Overall, I had a really good experience.

Take note that most of the reviews are from their employees. Take all of those away and what rating do they receive then? I will admit that the work was done very fast and so far seems to be done well and that's where the good part of this experience ends. With each step in this process they seemed to come up with a way of "trying" to add additional cost, that would come out of our pocket, to the job. I guess it's not enough that they get thousands from your insurance company but then they want to take as much as they can from your pocket.

The project started in August 2017 and was complete in April 2018. All of the other reviews where they say they take your money fast and then don’t respond are true. I wish I had listened. I only got them to finally do the work when I told them I had someone else to do it, then they showed up and didn’t finish. The pictures make for a good story that I can laugh about now, but save yourself the trouble. Do some research and learn from my mistake.

DO NOT USE! Three things to describe them: unresponsive, misleading, and not trustworthy. Initially contacted us in April 2016, work performed in June 2016, and billing disputes finalized in December 2016. Everything was going well until it came time to perform the work. We were only supposed to pay our deductible, but Jesse lied to us saying we'd get a free upgrade, which they charged us for in the end, and since the product was already installed, would not deduct the charge off the final invoice. In addition, their scheduling and communication is horrible. After several attempts to get on the schedule and trying to track down our salesperson, I left a voicemail indicating we were going to start looking for other quotes if we did not hear back. After that, they threatened to take us to court to enforce the contract we signed. We gave them specific times that would not work for us and twice they scheduled installation on dates that did not work. Then, on a random Friday, without notice, I got home from work and the product was sitting in my driveway blocking my garage entrance. After calling Jesse, he told us someone would come move the product on Saturday, (which never happened) and that we were on the schedule for Tuesday. Monday morning, I woke up to workers on my roof at 6:40am. The day of the install was a nightmare. Our neighbor called/sent a video of the workers leaving our satellite dish on the house and not removing the shingles underneath. Had we not called them out on this, they would have left the old shingles. We had to replace over $100 worth of landscaping that they ruined. The install was supposed to be 4-6 hours, but ended up taking 12. My wife had to take a full day off work after their install crew tripped our breaker and did not have backup power. Also, they did not fully complete the work as they forgot to do our gutters and replace some of our vents. After the install was (semi-)complete I spoke with our main contact's (Jesse) manager, Jordan. Jordan verbally indicated that they would knock $500 off our final bill for all the issues they created. In addition, Jesse indicated we would get a rebate for the work they did not complete if we signed the work completion form. We contacted them over the course of 3-4 weeks trying to get a final bill, with no response. After 6 weeks a final bill showed up in the mail saying we owed them more than what our deductible was, with no deductions for the issues they created! Again, we tried contacting Jesse, Jordan, their billing department and never got a response for 3 weeks. Finally, we received a letter from a 3rd party attorney, Brad Lohmeier (Lohmeier Law LLC), indicating that they would litigate if we didn't pay within 30 days.

*UPDATE* I found the business card for the account manager and expressed my frustration. My roof was replaced within a couple weeks. We discussed that the rain this spring had put them a bit behind schedule. This is understandable and reasonable. I would have preferred clearer (or really any communication) when I left voicemails and from my one call back. The roof itself looks great and I am very happy with it. Overall I had a mixed experience with Hoosier. When I got started I was provided with the main line to call if I had any questions. I tried to respect this request, but in my experience the person responsible for the main line is extremely unprofessional and in responsive. It's disappointing since the main line is expected to be the face of the company. If you do work with Hoosier contractors keep the business card of whomever you work with handy. Horrible. Signed a contract to have my roof replaced in March and work still isn't complete. I have left multiple voicemails and received one call back just saying that someone would eventually reach out to me for scheduling. Be smart. Find a reputable company.

Hoosier Contractors did an excellent job replacing our roof. They showed up on time, completed the work in one day, and cleaned up well after the work was done. They did a good job interfacing with our insurance company and working through all the insurance details. They are a professional company and overall was very pleasant to work with. I would recommend them for a good, quality roof and have already done so with a few friends in the neighborhood.

Impossible to get a hold of somebody or even get someone to return a call. They stated my roof needed completely replaced. Sent a claim to my insurance company. The insurance company denied it. Hoosier contractors suggested a mediator. Insurance company still denied the claim saying there is no damage. All I was left with was a $250 bill from the mediator and no return phone calls from Hoosier contractors .

We used Hoosier Contractors for our roof that was leaking. The overall experience was very positive. All the team members were professional and walked us through the entire process. Especially, the person in their admin department who explained things in great detail. She also sent an email informing us what to do (removing patio furniture, taking down Christmas lights etc.) prior to our installation date. We had a few landscaping lights that were damaged and they replaced them. Overall a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to others.

Hoosier was in the neighborhood working with a couple of my neighbors for storm damage this year so I had them stop by the house to take a look. They did find damage to the shingle and siding to my house. They helped me get through the insurance process (wow the insurance process is a joke) and handled it so I didnt have to anything. They meet with me frequently to go over the process and next steps and I felt very informed on what was going on through our process. Saying the the job is done and I have a new roof, new siding, new gutters, and garage doors. My wife and I are very happy with the Hoosiers Contractors and their products and communication through this claim. I will make sure if I am asked who did it then I will be referring all of them back to Hoosier Contractors! Thanks guys!

Contractors did a good job in replacing my roof. There was some gutter damage, but they repaired all and replaced all gutter screens. In addition, they worked with me to resolve some secondary issues.

Ryan from Hoosier Contractors came through our neighborhood and recognized potential issues with our roof. He did a free inspection and found hail damage. He helped us file an insurance claim and they handled everything from then on. Communication was great and they helped us pick the best roof for our house. They included upgrades that other companies who did neighboring houses did not do. Very satisfied with quality and service and will recommend.

I would possibly use them again if it was an insurance claim because they made that part easy. If I was paying out of pocket I would choose someone else. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Hoosier contractors door to door salespeople are the most annoying and persistent of any company I’ve seen. I have a “No Soliciting” sign posted on my front door and they still always come to bother me. The guy that just stopped here today rang my doorbell twice, then opened my storm door to put a door hanger inside of it! If I need any sort of house repair that I can’t do myself, I will seek it out. I don’t need a pushy salesperson to come bother me.

My neighbor got his roof done through Hoosier Contractors at the beginning of last summer. He only had to pay the deductible because of hail damage. We live three houses down for him, so I figure I would give them a call to see if I could get the same thing. The house is around 15 years old so the roof will need to be replaced in 5-8 years anyway. I was hesitant to give it a try but my neighbor was happy with everything. So I gave them a call and a few months later I have a new roof and only had to pay for the deductible on my home owners policy. The kicker is that my home owners insurance actually went done because I have a new roof now. Gotta love that.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOLLOW-UP EVER!!! I strongly discourage anyone from using Hoosier Contractors for any roof repair. All they care about is their money, whether the job has been completed or not. They used lawyer scare tactics to get their money, even though THEY NEVER COMPLETED THE WORK! Our experience started well over one year ago when we signed a contract for them to repair our hail-damaged roof. After not hearing from them for weeks after we signed the contract, we decided to get other estimates, only to find out that Hoosier Contractors were exceedingly higher than everyone else. In August 2015, they finally responded to our many phone calls and emails regarding when the work could get done. We told them we were going to use someone else, and they immediately threatened us with a lawsuit because of the contract we signed. The roof was finally put on over Thanksgiving weekend 2015...mind you, that was 5 MONTHS AFTER WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT WITH THEM! (As a side note, they will try to up-charge you for many items, that will not be covered under insurance, i.e. deck boards, trim boards, painting, etc.) There were a number of items done in poor quality which we tried to address with their customer service department. We paid a significant portion of the bill, and stated the remainder would be paid upon completion of the poor quality items. We sent several emails with pictures of items where shoddy work was done requesting repairs. It was hit or miss as to whether or not they would respond. When they did, they claimed someone would come out and address the problems. Months passed, and no one ever came out to fix anything. After months of nothing being done, we received a bill in the mail for the remaining balance and also a letter from their lawyer. Again, we let them know they would get the remaining balance once everything was completed. In the meantime, we sold our house without these repairs being done. We made a phone call to Hoosier Contractors to find out where we go from here. They responded with another threat of lawsuit and stated the repairs had been completed and our balance was due today. When asked to prove the work had been done, their general manager, who came to our house to pick up a check for the remaining balance, hesitatingly agreed to drive to the old house to show that the work had been done. NOTHING HAD BEEN REPAIRED!!! Even though caught in a lie, the only response from the GM was to pay anyway or we would be sued. Our experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. If you want over-priced, poor quality work, lies, threats and frustration, this is your company.

Excellent Account Manager Mr. Marcus L. at Hoosier Contractors. Initially a contractor (not Hoosier Contractors) inspected my roof and found storm damage. The first contractor said he would provide the damage information to my insurance company and he would return in a few weeks with the insurance company adjuster to physically review the damage together. The first contractor's visit with the insurance adjuster resulted in the insurance company agreeing to replace only a few damaged shingles only. Before I had the damaged singles replaced by the first contractor, another contractor knocked on my door. The person was Account Manager Mr. Marcus L. of Hoosier Contractors. He examined my roof and said in his opinion the noticeable storm damage far exceeded just a few shingles. Hoosier Contractor suggested having my insurance company adjuster re-examine the roof again so the additional damage missed by the first contractor could be shown to the insurance company adjuster. As a result of the efforts of the second contractor "Hoosier Contractors," the insurance company agreed to replace not just a few shingles but all shingles on the roof. Because of the efforts of Hoosier Contractors, my entire roof shingles will be replaced saving me thousands of dollars in future out of pocket cost. I highly recommend Hoosier Contractors. Jim VB

Don't sign anything with these guys!! If you do you are stuck using them. Their business policies are skeptical. We haven't even started service yet and we are unhappy. When we tried to say we would rather not continue doing business because of the poor service already, they said we HAVE to continue with them. I thought I had signed a waver to let them on my roof but apparently I had signed a binding contract. It's a very sad situation.
