Although Loren's review was 3 years ago ... I would say it still stands true today. They seem to be terrible communicators. Fortunately, they did respond to me in a timely manner, however, they were very disrespectful on the phone when they spoke with me. I called to file a claim and tell them what happened to my car while I was driving through one of their sites. The man repeatedly spoke over me and wouldn't allow me to speak. He kept saying it was the city's fault and that TMC wouldn't be responsible for anything that happened. (For the record, I called the city before this and they directed me to TMC because even though it was a previously existing pothole, they are still responsible for keeping their site safe and placing cones around hazardous areas). He also told me I was “just a kid” and that I was an “irresponsible driver” who was "probably speeding through his construction site." I’m 25 years-old and I was following the posted speed limit (25 mph). I told him that and he replied with, “I’ve seen plenty of people do it. You’re just like the rest of them.” I told him I would be writing this review and he said he would sue me for “derogatory comments.” That just doesn’t make sense. It is my right to leave a review about my experience with them. Sure, I didn’t actually do business with them, but I called to see if they could help compensate for the damage done to my vehicle while at their site, and I was immediately in a contentious conversation with a guy who accused me of things I didn’t do – and he doesn’t even know me or what I went through that day on his site. It was a hard no from them and they wouldn’t even look into it. Overall, the two people I spoke with were terrible communicators who obviously don’t care about quality service or the people who call in with questions or concerns. Again, I haven’t done any business with them, but after this I would never want to. In fact, I would recommend other contracting companies. I’ve had a few recent conversations with HK Contractors and they were very friendly and helpful. They answered my questions and treated me with respect. You wouldn’t think that’d be an issue, but for TMC that’s apparently a huge issue. Hopefully this review helps! If you’re looking for contractors, you might find a better experience choosing a different company.

They do not communicate well AT ALL! I've called their office and tried my best to get all the info of their construction job on Woodruff, but they consistently DO NOT FOLLOW UP! I've been trapped in my driveway. Also, my wife and three kids have been stuck at home FOR OVER A WEEK! If you're going to suddenly take away our dirt ramp to the house, TELL US!!! Also, it's YOUR construction zone, pay attention to a car trying to get out and DIRECT THEM! I would never refer these contractors to anyone. Pathetic.

These losers are the reason construction has a bad name. I get that there is a process that has to be followed, but when there is consistently no one on site, or everyone is standing around holding shovels I have a problem. Blocking off a major section of road, resulting in traffic being a complete mess. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

My friend above has obviously never worked construction. As I drive past their yard on a daily basis and I see the company keeping fellow Idahoans busy my heart warms. TMC is a hard working group. I got through college working for a similar construction company and they are both top notch. My experience with TMC has been quality work, great communication and lot of attention to detail.
