I just want to share my experience with everyone to let them know a few things before they use this company. I have tons of cotton trees around my home and every year I have to have it cleaned and sprayed out. A job that typically if you signed up for their basic plan, at 198$ a year which I was planning on doing, you would think could cover. I currently have a warranty on my AC unit and the only thing I actually needed the company to do was to get that cotton out of it, which I made clear. I chose them becuase they were the quickest to be able to service my home. They made it very clear, that when they came out that cleaning the unit would be an ADDITIONAL cost. When the technician showed up, we walked out to the system and he instantly said he didnt have a hose long enough to reach it. My water spigot is on the front of my home and the AC unit is on the side so there isnt anything unordinary about my home. I told him I could supply a hose long enough (something a technician would maybe have with him to do the job?) And he put his arms up in the air and after a few seconds said... "75 dollars?" And that number came from nowhere. I feel like he just chose that number because it was a good round number. I was quite surprised that it would cost me 198$ PLUS this large cleaning fee of 75$. So just a heads up. My name is Justin and I've owned my home since May of 2015 and have nothing personal against this company but am just a homeowner who's trying to let other young homeowners avoid greedy company's like this. Great service and great people. Quality is in their name and they take that seriously. We had them do a furnace and AC tune up (a great deal if you get the package) and they cleaned all out duct work. You could actually tell the difference just breathing the air!!! We have been using another local company for years but when we had an emergency at our preschool last year in the dead of the winter the other company couldn’t arrive until 2:00! With kids in school we needed it repaired ASAP. Called qualify Heating and they were able to rush out and help us right away, we were so grateful!! They service is amazing and prices were actually less than what we had been paying. We will continue using Quality Heating and Cooling for all our needs from now on and so would recommend them to anyone - especially because they are locally owned and operated. Quality Heating and Cooling recently replaced my furnace, AC condenser / coil and duct work both return / supply. Not only did they replace the equipment but were able to resolve the uneven and lacking airflow from various registers in my home. I felt that the issues I presented were taken seriously, and a plan to correct them was given. No pressure to purchase, upfront with any questions and concerns I had were handled without incident. Overall my experience was what I expected from an established company, friendly and knowledgeable employees who were willing to go above and beyond to make sure the job was done to satisfaction.

Quality Heating and Cooling did a great job of carefully cleaning all the ducts in my house. They were thorough and very considerate of the furniture, floors and walls. While on the ladder they even asked for a cloth to carefully wipe down around the high return duct near the ceiling. Those extra consideration touches really make a difference.

by Doug S., Emmet, ID: This is a trustable, reliable, and professional company. Our furnace finally went out after 21 years of service - with their sticker still on the faceplate. I called Friday (late night). First thing Saturday morning, I had the pleasure of speaking with Kevin who knew exactly what went wrong. I'm no expert with furnaces, but even I understood what he was talking about. Due to our first-impressions, we also asked about replacing our old setup (heat-pump was 21 years old and water heater was well beyond warranty). These guys completely installed a new furnace, coil, water heater, heat-pump, and thermostat within (no joke) two days. They also made sure we did not go without hot water. -- Detailed Review -- As mentioned above, Kevin returned my call promptly the next day (Saturday). I ended up sending him pictures as some questions I couldn't answer, and he was quick with being able to determine our furnace failure. We had options by end of day Saturday in terms of getting the furnace fixed and back to operating condition, or replacing it due to its age. Never once did we feel like we were being pushed into a sale or feel like we were being talked down to. This is a family owned business and everyone with the company is very friendly and professional. That small town feel is exactly what we felt and we felt like the company really recognized our needs and how we felt about being without heat. Having a reliable furnace to get us through another 15 years or so was really important to us. We also wanted something reasonably affordable and installed by licensed and reputable installers. We also wanted to know we could count on Quality Heating and Cooling down the road should the unexpected happen or if we want to add things like a humidifier. Kevin is a vet with this kind of thing (and Aaron is a rock star!) with determining our equipment failure and appropriate resolution, providing multiple options on compatible products, and explaining in in a way that's understandable (technical jargon as it's place, and they explained everything clearly to us). We wish we could give them more than 5 stars, so we'll instead state that we rate them A+. They were very professional (excellent), they were fast at executing and installing after we made our decision (they installed a new furnace, coil, water heater, and heat-pump in TWO days!), excellent product offerings (superior performance and efficiency), and reputable (BBB reports A+ Rating). Both Kevin and Aaron are seasoned individuals. I could tell they care about their work and doing not a great job - but a superior job. I could not imagine a scenario where anyone would be disappointed or frustrated with these guys - if you need a company you can trust, depend on, and want that family-oriented friendlies and professionalism, I can definitely attest they did all of that and then some with our family. ** Thank you Quality Heating and Air Conditioning ** for your amazing work!

After describing the problem I had in detail and that I suspected the blower motor was shot, the tech showed up and said nothing is wrong. 1 hour later I had to recall the tech out for the same problem and guess what? The problem was exactly what I thought it was, a blower motor in the furnace. Even better I got to pay a %266 mark up on a part that costs $325 retail. This means I paid $865 for a part that has a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer and I could have purchased the same part and warranty for $540 less and paid a reputable company labor for install and still walked away for price more reasonable than $950 (which is what I had to pay with a $85 service call). Thanks for bending me over the coals.

I was very impressed they didn't try to sell me options and services that we didn't need and they were extremely thorough with explaining all of our options. They helped discover that our current system was not installed properly and in fact our current system was spreading fiberglass instillation into our children's rooms - - This is a major health hazard and health concern. We were pleased with products, services, and they got all of their work done in a timely manner. We contacted Quality Heating and Cooling during one of the hottest days of the summer so far here in Boise. It was still 90 out and it was after hours, we contacted the business to come look at our AC and the service tech Aaron Folwell came out within 15 minutes. When he got here, he was quick to work and assured us that he'd be able to get our AC unit working again. Within 30 minutes he had our AC blowing out cold air again and come to find out we needed the compressor replaced. Thank goodness for Aaron, he was so helpful and understanding that a family member was ill and the heat made him feel even worse. Thank you Aaron and thank you to Quality Heating and Cooling, you've gained a life long customer. We highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough great things about Quality Heating and Cooling. I am renting and a property management company sent a very inferior company out to look at my air conditioner. He came twice and never looked inside the unit! I called Quality Heating and Cooling and they did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem and assisted me in getting the problem corrected. They were thorough, very helpful and had terrific customer service. The owner came out a second time to assist me and he was very generous with his time and expertise. They were prompt, polite and saved me from the sweltering heat. It was 95 degrees in my home and because of them I got immediate help. Quality is just what they are. This is the best service I have ever had in my 30 years of owning and renting homes.
