We had mountain view roofing pour a very large concrete patio in our back yard. They were extremely efficient and well priced! We really felt comfortable with all their workers at our house even when we weren't home, they all were well mannered and kind people to work with! Because of our fence and gate all of the concrete and roadmix had to be wheel barreled back there by hand so it was a large amount of physical labor and they were able to finish in 3 days. They started the same day they gave us a bid and were there bright and early every morning till it was finished. We absolutely love the finished product and would highly recommend using them to any of our friends!

Mountain View Roofing did a fantastic job on my 1,550 sq ft. home using Corning Asphalt "Teak" shingles. Adam is a man of integrity and even came back and re-installed a stronger hood fan on the roof at no extra cost. Even the men working for him, were great and hard workers to get the job done on time. Of the five contractors I contacted, Adam was the only one who was able to give me a quote on the spot. After inspecting and measuring my roof, he took his laptop out, set it on the hood of his truck, entered the numbers and gave me a price within minutes. He then emailed it to me. Once I gave him the job, Cindy came by our house with samples and helped us select an appropriate color for our house. On the day the work was done the crew showed up on time and completed the work on schedule. Later that afternoon, Adam's inspector came by for a walk through. He spent a half hour on the roof checking the work and another 15 minutes making sure everything was clean and neat around the house. Our new roof looks great and we are very pleased.

We have a difficult landscape to work around and they did their best to protect it...there were some broken branches in bushes and flowers (but really I think that would have been hard to not do for anyone...and those little broken pieces aren’t a big deal) They cleaned up well, especially considering that 3 layers of shingles were on there. One of the ways that some roofing contractors in the Treasure Valley find work is to advertise themselves as handymen. When they are called to a property they use the opportunity to try to sell a new roof. Adam of Mountain View Roofing advertises himself as a roofing contractor and as it turns out, he can be very handy. I live in a subdivision of Townhomes, built in the late 1990's. Many of the townhomes have a water leakage problem due to poor installation of the rain gutters. Over the years the homeowners have made repeated attempts to get the problems solved. I hired Adam to install a new roof which he did, plus he fixed the leakage problem no one else has been able to solve. I had gotten numerous bids and Adam's bid was substantially lower. There was no extra charge for solving the leakage problem. If you are planning a roofing project, I recommend that you give Mountain View Roofing an opportunity to bid.

They showed up on time, did the work they promised in the time that they promised to do it. Adam was great at communicating what was going on. We have an older home that had to have three layers of asphalt removed plus the underlying tar paper and plywood. All had to be replaced. On top of all that, we were insistent about the specific color we wanted which did not seem available in this area. Adam worked until he was able to locate the exact color choice, then the work was done professionally and in short order. None of the old roofing and garbage was left anywhere on our place. I had major leaks in my garage and an insurance adjuster came to take a look. She explained that the roof was just old, so there wasn't much she could do to help me as far as insurance was concerned. She did, however, give me an estimate on what a new roof in my area should cost. I'd had a couple of estimates done by folks going door-to-door, and their estimates varied wildly! One came in around $4500 and another at over $12,000! The estimate my insurance adjuster gave me came in around $5600 for a tear off and replacement that included ice and water shield underlayment. I contacted Mountain View and had them do an estimate. It was the closest estimate to what my insurance adjuster had given me (but a little less!). So, based on that and based upon the google reviews, I chose Mountain View. Adam was very easy to deal with, and we mainly corresponded via email about materials choices, pricing, and scheduling. After the first day's work, there were a couple of things I wasn't happy with and I notified Adam right away. Someone from his crew was out first thing the next morning to finish the roof and promptly take care of the things I wasn't happy with. They didn't argue with me or question my judgement--they just took care of it! As a single woman, advocating for myself, that meant a great deal to me. There was no macho bull--just guys who take pride in their work. Their work really was excellent! Once I got on the roof to inspect it, I found they'd re-finished all my vents to match the roofing trim, and it looked pretty darn fancy! They crew did a great job cleaning up the job site and Adam came by to inspect and pick up any tiny bits they'd missed. And when I say it was clean, I mean there wasn't a single scrap or nail or bit of shingle remaining. They really made an experience I dreaded easy for me. Once I received the invoice, it was right on the original price they'd quoted me.Thanks, Mountain View!

Great people and incredible work! Adam and his team could not have been any better. My fiancé and I were in the middle of buying our first home when we learned of major roofing issues. This flat roof home had been neglected and had major leaks for years. In the middle of a very busy day, Adam went above and beyond to educate me on everything from material options to potentially adding a slight pitch to the roof. Honestly, I'm hard to please and I don't trust a lot of people to get things right. After speaking with Adam we wouldn't buy the house unless it was him and his team that were going to replace the roof. We chose to NOT have the original owner of the home fix the roof before close and we decided to replace the roof out of our own pocket just so we could have Mountain View Roofing do the work. We are SO happy that we did! A crew member, Gary was awesome! He brought me up on the roof to show me where there was water damage, and consulted me on a couple decisions. He answered every question I had and showed me the details that I was curious about. Gary even noticed that there was dead space between the roof and the REALLY old and crumbling insulation, causing dry rot. Because the roof is flat, there is no attic meaning we couldn't just add insulation - it had to be done when the roof was opened up. Buying our first house was incredibly stressful and nerve-racking but Adam and his team went above and beyond to help any way that they could.
