I love Groutsmith. I love the owner Mike. I love Shelby, the receptionist. I love the guy that delivers the mail to them! I can't rave about this experience enough! I bought a house with a newly remodeled kitchen. The sink overflowed and expanded the plywood in the tile countertop, causing the grout to split and bust apart in some places. I called all over town and no one knew of anyone that could do tile repair. Everyone just recommended replacing the counter for $5-7k. I found Groutsmith on Google, and gave them a call. The first guy they sent out said they couldn't fix my problem because the counter wasn't stable and couldn't be repaired. I was totally devastated. I was looking into replacing the countertop for months, when I thought to give Groutsmith one last shot. This time they sent over the owner, Mike. He checked everything out and said it was stable enough to do the repairs. He warned me it might have issues because of the nature of the damage. So I wasn't expecting much. But I thought I should give a couple hundred dollars to see if it could be repaired before having to tear apart the new counter and paying thousands. I'M SO HAPPY I DID! He came and did the work to perfection. When I happened to look over at the sink, I scared him by OMGing out of the blue. I was practically in tears to look over at my counter and not be able to tell where the damage had been. It was always so noticeable before. The grout was no longer 5 different colors of stained, unsealed, sanded grout. It is now a uniform color that matches the tiles and makes the counter look better then when I first moved in. And the best part for me was how meticulous Mike was. He moved the appliances to get the countertop sides. He asked me to scrutinize every tiny imperfection so everything would be perfect when he left. He even helped me do so and found several areas to touch up. He was here for a good 3 hours, and the job only cost me $202.50. And it's completely waterproof now, so no more damage! I can't tell you how happy I am. I feel like I have the counter I should have had, without hassle or thousands. God bless this company. I'll be using them again for my tile floors.

It was seamless. First, Colin came to evaluate. He put in writing what needed to be done, when and how much. Chevy called with a reminder a couple of days before (you have to keep the area dry). Then, Chevy and Mike arrived on time, confirmed what they were going to do, went to work, worked hard! and did a beautiful job. They scraped the subway tiles until they were gleaming, and scrubbed the floor tiles to their original look. They matched the existing grout, applied it professionally, and resealed everything. Their work made the shower look brand new. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

My shower is tile, with a fiberglass pan. Constructed in 2007. Nate with Groutsmith arrived promptly, in a highly conspicuous company vehicle with all of his tools and supplies. He went straight to work, with hardly a peep except for a friendly and professional attitude. The result was a good-as-new rejuvenation of the caulked joint between the shower pan and the tile walls, plus renewed grout between all tiles. This shower has another decade of life or more left in it, and I'd seek out Groutsmith again for any other tile work I need done.

Nate and Mike cleaned, repaired, and sealed the Travertine flooring in my home yesterday and did a wonderful job. It has not been done for many years and now looks bright and new. The grout lines are back to their original color and all repairs were expertly done. The work was done by hand, most of it on hands and knees and they were so thorough. They took great care with my furnishings and took their time being sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this company.

This was the second time I used The Groutsmith for our large, tiled shower. The first time they serviced our tile shower they cleaned, sealed, re-caulked and repaired tile and grout for us about 3 years ago. The tile repairs they had done prior were still in perfect condition and no new repairs were needed. The caulking was only peeling up in a couple spots which I was amazed at because my previous experiences with caulked areas is that it isn’t long before it starts deteriorating. Basically our shower still looked 100 times better than when we moved into our house. I am so glad I used Groutsmith prior and I am so impressed at how their work holds up especially considering the multiple daily uses of our shower and the lack of cleaning I do. Our only maintenance is devout squeegee use after showering and I’ve only cleaned the shower 2 or 3 times in the last few years. I feel like they are worth every penny and I am saved from the dreaded chore of scrubbing the shower. Nate did the work on our shower today and was extremely thorough and did a wonderful job. He was on time and was done in an appropriate amount of time. I was impressed with his professionalism and the time he took to re-educate me. I look forward to not scrubbing the shower for many months to come!

Several years ago we converted a shower surround to a tiled shower. We began having trouble almost immediately with the grout lines cracking at the corners. Our original contractor came and repaired it once. After that we had tried multiple times to patch and repair the grout ourselves. Nothing ever worked. Mike from Groutsmith came and gave us our estimate and the time line. He arrived early, got the work done ahead of schedule and now it looks like a brand new shower. I waited over a month to do this review, and am happy to report the shower still looks like the day Mike repaired it. We could not be happier with the service and the work.
