Their customer service is excellent. They friendly and sincerely care about customer satisfaction more than any company I know. During the strong wind we had in the valley last fall, they worked long hours helping people with bids and information to repair their fences. I am looking forward to doing buisness with them again.

Needed a short (110 ft.) cedar fence to keep our dogs confined. They came the day after we called and gave the best of three estimates we got. This was on a Wednesday. They arrived to do the job the very next Saturday. Despite having to drill the post holes in unexpectedly rocky ground, they finished the fence the following Monday and the final price was spot on to their estimate. If ever I need another fence or deck I'd hire these guys in a heartbeat.

We had an extremely bad experience with East Idaho Fence and Deck. (Similar to another review already posted on google where this company’s response was to make her look in the wrong!) I would highly recommend NOT using them. We did not get what we originally ordered and when we came home to see it, they were not willing to fix it unless we paid an additional $600. This is after we already paid $500 extra to get the work done that month. I’m not someone who writes bad reviews (actually I have never written a bad review,) but if you chose to use this company and something goes wrong, (which sometimes is bound to happen when it comes to construction) they will not take ANY responsibility and you will be at the mercy of your contractor. We had several contractors and even a lawyer tell us we should take them to small claims because we had total proof that what we originally ordered was NOT what they put up. However, we will do everything possible to not sue people. It’s unfortunate that someone must sue in order to be treated with honesty and integrity. We still ended up paying $300 EXTRA for a fence that we did not order or want, and was not installed by the day he told us it would be done. His argument has been that he put up what is written in the contract. However, he hand writes his contracts and they look like doctors prescriptions. In all the text messages between us, I ordered something totally different from what he wrote in the contract. He also wouldn’t send the estimate to us before hand, which I asked for several times. He waited until I was ready to write a check to even make out the contract. He also conveniently did not include a finish date (which is what we paid $500 extra for!) He ended up finishing 4 days later then what we agreed on. He threatened us, sent me a TERRIBLY RUDE text at 3 AM IN THE MORNING, and tried to manipulate us into paying an extra $200. We have paid him almost $7,000 and this is NOT how you treat a client who hires you for your services. We are currently looking for a new company that can come and fix their mistake!

Not only was he and his crew great around my family, they left no trace that they had torn down an entire cedar fence and replaced with a beautiful, sturdy vinyl one. Unfortunately, I cannot give a good review for this company. They are extremely unprofessional. I called and scheduled to have someone from their company come and look at my fence and give an estimate on the repairs. I made sure to be at my house early for the appointment and no one ever showed up. I tried calling them and left a message and here it is 3 days later and I still have not heard a thing from them. It is very unprofessional and very very rude to leave someone waiting. I would not recommend this company at all.

Called Sean for a bid to fence in our property around a 1/2 acre property with our new house. Sean showed up the very next day, and gave us the lowest bid of 3 done. He gave us a schedule, and showed up as scheduled to start the work. The first day he showed up with a 2 man crew to help, and finished the rest of the work by himself. He finished before the scheduled time quoted, with finished price exactly as quoted despite a couple last minute changes and improvements. A short time after work was completed we had some damage due to a major storm. (Totally NOT Sean's design fault, or workmanship.) Even though the damage was beyond his control, or fault, he fixed the work on warranty, and made improvements to ensure the same thing would not reoccur. He has also included design improvements to increase our ease of use, without increasing the cost of the initial proposal. Sean stands by his work, and is totally reliable in his work ethic. When he says he will do something for a certain amount, and in a certain amount of time, he stands by that word. We have had nothing but exemplary work, and support from Sean, and his company. I highly recommend him, and his company both for the initial job quoted, and his warranty support as needed. I will be utilizing him and his company in the future, with pleasure.

These guys were very unreliable. We needed a small set of stairs from our deck and they said they could do it. They completed it at the last minute, after we begged them to come. We were unhappy with the job they did, so we requested that they come over and we could talk about it. When we met, they agreed to make the changes and then we would pay them. After a month and a half of not hearing from them, we received a notice on our door that we needed to pay them or they would take action. Surprised, we tried calling and texting many times with no response from them. We finally decided to pay them the money although they hadn't made the changes because we needed to sell our home. Very unhappy with them. They may be better with bigger, more pricey jobs. They said over and over that our job was small and not worth the effort or the money.
