A leak in my water main fitting was stopped by Bowman's. But they left a 36 inch deep and 3 foot by 3 foot hole wide open in my yard. They never came back, called or notified me the leak was fixed. Just sent an invoice that I paid. Left the task of verifying the leak was fixed and filling in the hole they dug, up to me. On the plus side, Bowman's actually returned my call and showed up at my house. More than I can say for the other plumbing companies in Mountain Home that I called for this problem. Just wish there was a choice between good plumbers and bad plumbers in this town. Instead we have a choice between plumbers who cannot finish the job and plumbers who won't even respond to a call for service.

Made an appointment for 10 AM on a Friday. Got a call at 9AM saying they would be there "at some point that day." Waited all day, called MULTIPLE times, they kept saying, "Oh, he's just wrapping up he should be there or call you soon." They never showed, and never called. Glad I stayed home all day.

Judge for yourself. The job was to cut out old stops & replace valves under kitchen and master bathroom sinks (All the tubing is PEX, 2 hour job from prior exp - I couldn't do it myself as I was away). Labor: $120 = $60/hr (wow when the national avg is $25/hr for a master plumber). Bowman's 1/2 in Pex Tee: $4.72 (Home Depot = $2.89). Bowman's 6' 1/2 in PEX tubing: $3.52 (HD = $1.71). Bowman's 5 each 1" PEX Barb Coupling: $32.40 (HD = $14.75). Bowman's 4 each 3/8 OD straight stop valve: $58.04 (HD = $23.68). Bowman's 4 each 1/2 x 3/8 x 16 flex tube: $35.92 (HD = $35.80, OMG a price match finally). Bowman's Bill = $254.15... Any other plumber without jacked up mat'l costs = $128.83. This service was okay, because he was the only plumber in town to pick up the phone at 10am on a Monday. Just know that you are going to get hosed when the bill drops. Side note...If you are a plumber, no one is going to leave you a voicemail when they have a problem; you are losing money. I hate Mountain Home.

While visiting my grandmother, I found out her A/C went down before I arrived in town (Saturday). First thing Monday morning we tried calling every number available, but we either get hung up on, no goes straight to voicemail, even the "emergency" number. My ship had better A/C service in the Persian Gulf compared to these clowns.
