Roman their estimator helped both parties out to make the deal work and saved our sale. They went beyond and above to help me same day when they were so busy. I was impressed right off the bat that i didn't have to make a deposit or partial payment to get things started. The crew worked fast, and though they didn't get the stove pipe for my fireplace put back correctly the first time, they were able to get back in a reasonable amount of time before i needed to start using it. There was a bit of a language barrier at first with the roofer, but i was able to show him the problem and had to help him get it installed properly. The end result is great!

The customer service provided by Dan as my first contact was outstanding. He answered questions and provided help through the entire process. The production contacts of Rob and Blake kept me completely updated so that I understood the process and time line. Was just a little surprised when the production crew showed up at 4:03 in the afternoon, but they finished up and cleaned up by 6:30. They did leave behind 2 strips of staples when they left. Those strips may have been missed because they were in the general area where the trailer was parked. I have recommended Bartlett to a couple of friends.

Happy at the beginning, didn’t take long to schedule or replace, they were done quickly & the end product looks good. However they did leave a mess & broke some of the siding, that goes under the roof, like a lip or something, they have names... anyway, they were supposed to come out & fix it but all they did was push it back in & try to make it look nice “puddy style” my husband wouldn’t pay the remaining until they fixed it. Almost 2 months later & they are going to take pictures of it & send it so my insurance because “they should know that some damage would be done, that should’ve been in the bid” what?! Why does my insurance have to pay for the fault of your mistake.. if my insurance doesn’t pay for it they are going to fill it with caulking!!! So if I want them fixed it’ll come out of my pocket. The only thing Bartlett told me was he didn’t know what was done & what wasn’t.. I’m sorry! Isn’t this your company, shouldn’t you know what’s going on!? Never mind it’s been raining 2 weeks straight! Very disappointed by the end.

Vernon showed up at my door, like others I thought he was a solicitor. I decided to take the time to talk with him about my roof because I knew it needed replacing. He called my insurance right then and there with me and was able to the new roof approved. Him and the crew worked around my time constraints and agreed to put the new roof on a day I could be home. Crew was amazing and did a stupendous job! Very friendly and very careful with my yard and newly planted flowers along the house. They came on Thursday May16th to do my roof. The main crew left after a few hours to go work on another home. Mine was not finished until the next day. Finished is being kind. For the exposed 24 inch souffet around the home (part of the roof) that they told me had to be replaced, they used some 1 x 8 in some places and some 1x 6 in other spots. Both are multiples of 24, but it is a difference of 3 boards or 4 boards. The trim work around the chimney was not finished for 2 months. I had to threaten to not pay before someone finally came out and put on the trim. They caused damage to the inside of my home when yanking on the swamp cooler to remove it and the original rep told me that was not their responsibility, they are roofers, not construction workers. They ripped off part of my gutters and didn't replace it or repair where the gutter was at. The trim for the base of the chimney was left on the top of my roof for 2 months before the work was done. That trim blew off causing approx $1300 damage to a car in our driveway. They paid for that and agreed to repair the damage in the interior if the home. The funny thing is my neighbor across the street used the same company 2 weeks ago. They stayed all day and finished her work in a timely manner. I guess I was the Guinea pig home. I would not recommend this company to anyone. A local sales manager offered to come look at the final product, he still has not come by. The work was cheap, matching the cheap price, but beware, you definitely get a low quality result matching the low price.

The process was very smooth; Cierra handled getting the insurance claim started, and was there to answer any and all questions I had through the entire process. Bartlett handled everything with the insurance claim, they kept in constant touch about where we were in the process, and tear off of a two layer roof and laying the new roof was done in 48 hours. Called to have these guys out do an estimate and they were 3 hours late, when the guy finally called to tell me he was on his way he was agitated that we wouldn't be home when he was there. We couldn't wait around ALL day, we had an appointment they failed to get to! The office lady was nice and apologetic but then the guy who did the estimate showed up to my office unannounced with a "bid", a piece of paper from something else he had jotted some notes down on the back of. I never did receive a professional proposal. Going with the notes on the random paper, they were 4k over any other bid I received. I laughed when the gentleman texted me to find out when I wanted to schedule my roof.

Bartlett Homes and Roofing is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. Back in May of 2017 they did a roof for me under and insurance claim. 1st off we made an agreement that we would inspect the roof sheeting once they tore the old shingles off. To my surprise the workers started putting the new roof on before we did the inspection of the sheeting. I stopped the roofers, so I could talk with Brad the project manager of the job. When I contacted Brad he said we were going to inspect it and I told him that was funny because the roofers were already putting the new roof on. He told me to stop them which I told him I did. 1st sign of things is going to go bad on this job. I agreed to put new sheeting on (there is a lot more to that conversation). Took them 3 hours to get new sheeting on site in the mean time they pulled the old sheeting off. Left loads of debris in my attic space 2nd indication this was going to be bad. New sheeting arrives they start slapping it on. The did not use H clips I questioned why not, and Brad stated they didn’t need them. 3rd indication that this was going bad. I thought they were professionals and it was turning out I new more about putting a roof on than they did. Got the roof on new sheeting new shingles and they were wrapping up when I went out and looked at the roof. 1st thing I noticed was they didn’t put the roof vents back on my garage, and they had more on the house than came off. I asked the roofers and they said they only had 5. I said yeah, 3 for the house and 2 for the garage that was what was there before they started. 4th indication. They were just going to paint the flashing around the fireplace, I told them the paper work said you were going to replace which what a $450 charge. I told them since they charged me for it they were going to replace it. Final inspection- I asked for a copy of the building permit for my records. They told me they didn’t need one; I pointed out that yes, they did since they replaced all the sheeting. Again, I thought they were the professionals. Then I asked about all the debris in my attic space were they going to remove that. They told me the contract said that there would be some debris in the attic. I said I understand but half the old roof was still in my attic. I thought that was a little excessive. So, they had to crawl back up in my attic and remove 15 buckets of debris. Trust me there is still more up there. I could go on for hours about all the other stuff but it’s being a little nitpicky. The main reason I decided I would put in my review today was, yesterday I opened my soffit because I’m getting ready to add a sun-room on and to my surprise I found that the OSB sheeting holes that should have been cut in were basically bashed in with a hammer to put the house vents through. I just frustrated me even more knowing that I and my insurance company paid over $10 thousand dollars to put this roof on. I wish I could put pictures on here of the entire process as I have them. I highly recommend using another company if you need these types of services.

Bartlett Homes was great to work with. My roof was replaced through an insurance claim after wind damaged it. I will admit I was sceptical at first as I felt that insurance claims were difficult to make. However, Madison and the rest of Bartlett Homes worked hard for me and with my insurance to get my roof fixed. When the day came to do the work, they were quick, clean and it looks great.
