After having multiple people try to figure out why my sprinkler system had such low pressure, I decided to call in the professionals. The woman on the phone was pleasant and helpful, though she couldn't get me scheduled as quickly as I would have preferred. (I guess sprinkler problems are a common thing this time of year). Nonetheless I accepted the next day they had available and I couldn't be happier. Their technician figured out my pressure issue in about 5 minutes. He also checked my system and adjusted my sprinkler box to water more efficient. What a joy it is to see my sprinklers working the way they are supposed too. Best money I have spent in a while.

Mike and his crew were very professional, not pushy. The price was more then I wanted to spend but the quality od the patio and landscaping, and their customer service was worth it. They did what I wanted and didn't try and push something I didn't want. While we did make a few changes to the plan once the work started which made the end results much more appealing and functional. We have had Aldape complete two large projects in our backyard over the last three years. Both jobs were completed on time and turned out great! The first project was a stone retaining wall. They graded the yard, removed excess dirt, ensured proper drainage & created the wall. The work team was professional, extremely nice and always responsive to questions. The second project was a 600 sq ft paver patio. Again, the project turned out beautifully! The entire project was done in 8 days, the crew was professional, cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was satisfied with the work. I used Aldape for the second time and was just as satisfied as before. I was convinced that I needed a new clock and had a broken underground pipe. Ryan was thorough and honest, pointing out that the clock was old but in good working condition, and that I just needed to adjust my programs. He showed me how to work the settings I hadn't figured out yet. He spent time trying out different sprinkler head types on what I thought was a broken pipe (it wasn't) until we found one that provided the pressure and coverage necessary for the space. I asked him to change it out several times, and he did so patiently. He was generally very polite, professional, friendly, and pleasant. All in all, a great experience; an affordable and honest company that obviously strives for satisfied customers. I have recommended Aldape to my family and friends and would gladly do so again.

We hired Aldape to build a paver walkway. We were surprised by how hard their guys worked, despite the 100 degree weather, we were also impressed with how pleasant the entire crew was. Each and every one of their guys was respectful and helpful, they took special care to remove all of the construction debris. And the paver walkway turned out perfectly. I think I may have met the Sprinkler Whisperer... We moved into our new home over the winter and didn't have a chance to check out the sprinklers. Our Realtor told us that there weren't any sprinklers in the front yard. So I called Aldape to come out and give me a bid on the cost of installing sprinklers in front. They sent a guy named Mike out. He opens a box in the back yard, and tells me it may be my lucky day. We then go to the timer box in the garage and he looks at it. Then he goes out the front yard kicks around some rock in a flowerbed and uncovers a green box like the one in the back. yard. He opens it up messes around and before I know it, I have sprinklers running in my front yard. Turns out they were there all along. I just needed the Sprinkler Whisperer to coax them up. I will definitely be sure to call these guys next time I have sprinkler issues.

We recently moved into a new, to us, home in North East Boise. After spending the majority of the summer with a sprinkler system that wasn't working correctly, I decided it was time to seek some professional help. I talked to 3 different people, and amazingly they all recommended that I call Aldape. I spoke to a lady on the phone and described my problem to her. That one of my sprinkler stations had really low pressure and that I could here what sounded like running water coming from the trunk of a tree in our front yard. She said it sounded as though I had tree roots restricting my sprinkler pipes. She told me she could have someone out Monday to take care of my problem. I asked her if they would be cutting my tree down, and she assured me that wouldn't need to happen. Wewwww! Dodged a bullet on that I thought to myself. On Monday a couple of techs from Aldape show up, and after running the station, they verified that I had a root restriction. Somehow they were able to pinpoint the area of the restriction. After some preliminary digging they determined that the best course of action would be to reroute my pipe around the tree area. I have to admit I was having internal woes about how much all of this was going to cost me, but I went with their plan. Wow! These guys really worked well together. It took them about 3 hours and they had a new sprinkler line installed that bypassed the tree and a couple of new heads installed to get water to the appropriate areas. I am totally impressed with the work Aldape's technicians did at our home. I would definitely recommend them. And will call them in the future, should I need more help with our sprinklers.

Absolutely the worst company ever. They seriously came to my house fixed nothing and then left and told me no charge, because we didn’t do anything, because the guy couldn’t figure out what the issue was. I said thanks I’ll find a company that can trouble shoot the issues. About 3 weeks later I get a bill for $150 dollars because the tech said he was at my house for over an hour. I called disputed the bill and they laughed at me and hung the phone up, next I get a letter in the Mail with a $25 fee added. I just paid the bill but I will leave a review with the bbb and open a claim for non service. I felt as though they came to my house stay for 30 minutes left with no service and charged me $170. It’s not the money it the service and how they handled my phone call. I will tell everyone never to use this company they are scam artist not intertested in actually doing work. Aldape said they would phone me before arriving at my residence to blow out my sprinklers this past fall, but they didn’t. I simply came home from running errands one day and there was a note on my front door saying they visited while I was gone. What troubled me was my garage was locked, my fence gate was locked, and unless someone risked injury to climb over it, there was virtually no way to access the sprinkler valves in the backyard. I payed Aldape's bill, but was worried the job wasn’t complete, so I hired another company to blow out the lines again (for $15 less) while I was home and could see for myself. Sadly, there was an unbelievable amount of water still in the lines, especially the main valve. It was as though they weren’t blown out at all. I contacted Aldape twice asking for a $45 refund, but haven’t received anything yet.

Winterization completed by them. The technician was friendly and gave us a call before he arrived. Tech called us at 10a to see if we are available which worked out great. We originally wanted the earlier time slot so we can have the rest of the afternoon for errands. We've been using them for two winters now. The whole winterization takes no more than 10min. This is the second year I have used these guys to do my sprinkler blowout. Although they were originally referred by a friend, i was a bit uneasy at first that they couldn’t give me a time that they would come by to do the job. The lady on the phone explained that they do over 25 a day and that they could only guarantee a day not a time. In any event all went well and with not having to worry about being home at a certain time, it is a pretty easy experience. They just show, blow and go. They also left me a note saying that they got the job done.

I hired Aldape for a new sprinkler installation. Their estimate was reasonable, they were courteous, professional and finished when they said they would. The one issue we ran into was the concrete curbing their subcontractor installed around our shrub beds - it began to deteriorate within a year of installing it so I'd mention that to them if you are looking at adding curbing to your yard.

Had aldape come out to look at our sprinklers. They told us we *must* move our back flow and replace our entire system. Had a civil engineer look at our back flow and decide that its expensive AND unnecessary to move it had. Had a different sprinkler company come out and they told us that we don't need a new sprinkler system, just new heads, saving us a crazy amount of money. Kind of salty I have to pay for Aldape to come out and try and get more money out of us for no reason.

Having spent an entire weekend trying to figure out my sprinkler system and not getting anywhere, I figured I sholud seek some professional help. A friend recommended Aldape so I gave them a call. A woman answered the phone and took my information. She then asked me a little about my problem. I explained it as best I could. I ended up setting up an appointment for the following Thursday. The afternoon of my appointment a received a call from their service guy, who wanted to let me know he was the in his way. I wasn't home yet so I told him where everything was and that he could call me if necessary. I got home as he was finishing up. He explained what he did and alerted to another issue I was having. Needless to say everything works perfect now. I am so happy I called these guys. Friendly and professional!

The workers did a GREAT job. Very respectful guys. The owner Mike on the other hand, has very poor communication. He charged me DOUBLE labor then what was talked about over the phone. This is because He sent two people out for a one person job. I was not informed that I would have to pay for each guy on each hour. Mike just told me the hourly rate. I asked a few times for him to come out and quote me. He brushed me off. I trusted reviews online and went with him anyway. When I confronted him after the job was done, he claims he was far to busy for a "small" costumer as myself. I sure payed for my decision choosing Aldape Sprinklers

We love our new patio and outdoor living space. From the design stage, to the finishing touches, Mike and Allen were great to work with. We had a fairly large project that included a water feature, fire pit, lighting, Sitting Wall and patio. They had all the people to get it done and done right.

I had Aldape come do a sprinkler repair for me in the past when i didn’t have time to do it myself. The price was fair and the work was well done and quick. I was very satisfied. However, I just called regarding a leaky control valve and wasn’t so impressed. I thought it needed to be replaced and I just didn’t have the time to take care of a replacement myself. I was quoted $125-$150 for them to rebuild the valve or $190+ to replace if necessary. I didn’t realize they could be rebuilt, so luckily I was at Home Depot when they called me back with this quote. $4.95 for the rebuild kit at HD, and 5 minutes with a screwdriver at home and I was good to go. Needless to say, I cancelled the service call. I’m not upset, just shocked at the crazy markup for such a simple repair and am glad that I did a little checking and made the repair myself. Again, not really a complaint, just wanted people to know to do a little checking on this kind of stuff before committing to spending a crazy amount of money for a $5/5 minute repair that they could do themselves.

I had Aldape redo my back yard. I was given an approximate start date and an approximate finish time for our project and every thing went to schedule. The crew paid attention to my needs and in the end I had a new lawn, sprinkler system, new plants and a small water feature. I was provided with watering and care advice on caring for the plants and lawn. I am very pleased with the job they did and will have them back this summer to put in a pathway and patio extension.

My vacuum breaker gave up the ghost and Aldape Sprinkler Technicians was able to come by quickly and do a great job replacing it with good quality parts. You could certainly tell there was experience behind what they do. It was fair pricing for good quality work. Wow! after several years of dealing with our problematic sprinkler system, I decided it was time to get some help. I called several different companies (most didn't answer or return my phone call). Cindy at Aldape however called me right back. I gave her my best explanation of the problems I was having and scheduled a day for them to come out. When their man showed up, we walked through the problems. While he was looking at my sprinklers run, he noticed that there were weird gaps in the system. He went out to a few locations in the yard and found 3 buried sprinkler heads. I swear this took him about 2 minutes. he then made some other adjustments and reprogrammed my timer. This was about a week ago and I can already see the difference. I will I would have called these guys sooner.

These guys are great. After having had several companies out to work on my sprinkler system, adjusting this and repairing that, I decided to give Aldape a call. The technician called me to let me know he was in his way, which was nice as I was able to meet him there. He was able to repair my leak and go through my sprinkler system. Out of everyone who has worked on my system, he was the only one who took the time to explain how my soil condition effects how I should water. He adjusted my sprinkler box so that instead of watering every area for 45 minutes, I would water the shady areas for less time then the sunny areas. And the sunny areas would go off two times instead of once. At first I was learly of this, but my lawn looks better than it ever has. I'm very happy with the service I received from Aldape and will be calling them should I need to in the future.

I had to have Aldape come out and replace my drain valve. I could not be home at the time, but was told that the valve was replaced and water would work if turned on. The water did not work when I got home, so I had to call someone else to troubleshoot the actual problem. In addition, the technician set the drain valve tube too low to the ground, so during rainstorms the tube floods with mud. The drain valve is currently under a layer of mud and Aldape won't come out and fix the mistake without additional payment for labor. I'm personally not going to pay for someone else's mistake, so I'll find another company to work with in the future.

Aldape was recommended to me by a friend of mine, who they had done some work for. I had already met with a few contractors, but I figured one more couldn't hurt. I am so glad I took the time to meet with them. I ended up having them re-landscape my back yard. Mike and his crew were really on the ball. They seemed to know exactly what to put where, and how to overcome obstacles in a practice manner, while not sacrificing quality and astehtics. They ended up doing a paver patio and pathway, some beautiful planting beds, and reconfiguring my sprinkler system to make sure water went where it should go and not where it shouldn't.

My parents and I have used Aldape for several years now to maintain the sprinkler systems at our homes in Boise. This past fall I was transferred out of state for work and had was worried about getting my sprinklers winterized while I was away. I called Aldape and the lady on the phone put me at ease. She explained to me how they just needed access to the valves to do the blowout and that it wasn't necessary for me to be home. I later talked to my neighbor and she had them blow hers out too while they were in the neighborhood. Needless to say I am very pleased with how painless they made my sprinkler blowout. I actually had Cindy add me to their auto list so now it won't be a worry in the future.

I had Aldape recommended to me by a friend who had used them. I called, and Mike came out to look at the area. We talked about a couple goals I had with the plantings. Mike was a great listener, and came up with ideas within a couple days. We went through a couple iterations of design, as I kept adding questions. After arriving at a final plan, we got everything scheduled. The workers showed up every day. They were neat, and cleaned up the job site each day before leaving. Mike came to check things out every day, making sure things were in the right place. Chris, the sprinkler guy, also came by to do the sprinkler work in order to make sure everything was set up correctly. When the work was completed, Mike provided me with a watering and maintenance instruction email. We had neighbors stopping by that weekend to look things over, and all raved about the end result. The job gave a great finished look to our patio project. I would recommend Aldape Sprinkler Service Landscape and More to anyone who is looking for these services.

zero stars if I could. They can perform a basic blow out of a sprinkler system. Just do not expect more than that. We had a zone not working. after multiple attempts they could not figure it out. When I found the connection box and break they didn't want to run the wires in our crawlspace to fix it. I dug the trenches and my wife ran the wires. Then they wanted to bill us for the whole job. If all you expect is a blowout, fine. If you have a problem forget about these people.
