By a stroke of luck, one of my granddaughters brought over Dave Fullmer after a big storm hit the islands. Dave saw the roof shingles all over the ground and asked if I had insurance. I told him we do but usually handle things ourselves. Then he told me that the insurance company would probably give me a new roof and our rates wouldn't go up because it was an act of God. We sat and talked for awhile , he jumped up on three of the house roofs and said he thought he could help us. I really didn't have to do anything else. I didn't have to deal with the insurance company. I didn't have any confusing forms. Dave handled everything and within a couple weeks we had 3 new roofs. The houses look great. Dave was always available if I had any questions and he helped me with others projects on the property too. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and prompt. I still call him for referrals and I would recommend him to any homeowner who needs help especially after a storm. Our family has owned the property for decades. There are several houses on the property and when something goes wrong, our ohana always helped fix things. If the plumbing went out, one uncle would come and help. If the electric broke another uncle would come and fix it. If the roof was damaged all the men would get up there and repair it. We always had insurance but never called to ask for help. Maybe we were ignorant, maybe we thought they wouldn't cover it, maybe we thought our rates would go up. This time we are thankful we met Dave. He saved us a lot of money and hardship.

Dave and his team did an awesome job replacing a new roof on my house. I switched from Monier tile to Aluminum. Dave's work team is very professional and diligent. They have good work ethic and skills. Dave's company is a honest and trustworthy business. I highly recommended it to anyone looking for a honest high quality company to wor with.

Our roof was damaged during this last storm and FBC salesmen was super professional and helped us get with our Insurance company so our claim was filed correctly and our damaged roof was fixed. Finally paying insurance all these years worth it!

I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt, a baby boomer, who was unfortunately taken advantage of by Fullmer Brothers Construction. My aunt hired this company based on its five-star Home Advisor rating. The long and short of it is that this company charged my aunt $16,000 to replace a third of her original roof due to wind damage. The worst of the issue is that the roof was not replaced up to code, with shingles cut unevenly, varying in lengths of anywhere between six to ten inches. My aunt is working with the DCCA and the legal department is fining Fullmer Brothers Construction. If attorneys were affordable, my aunt would love to hire one to settle this matter. It is our hope that this review helps you avoid an unpleasant experience and a horrible waste of money. At the end of the day, Pamalu Roofing & Raingutters was hired to replace the remaining 2/3rds of the roof.

Overall, Collin James (salesman) and the Fullmer Brother's Roofing crew did a very good job replacing our roof. Colin worked with our insurance company, the estimators, streamlining the roof replacement process. We've had more than our fair share of bad contractors; those contractors (term used loosely) who say they can do a good job and then do a poor job, then ask for more money, and ultimately do not finish the job. We've pretty much had it with all the other companies and my wife read them the "riot act" when they wanted half down to start the work. We wrote them that deposit check on Collin's promise they were a good company and would do a good job. He gave us his home address and assured us they would do a quality job. Fullmer Bro's stayed in touch with us, and the day of the job more than 10 roofers showed up and striped off our old roof, but at 2pm they had no material to replace it. Naturally I figured "here we go again" but the material arrived and by 7pm that evening we were nearly 90% roofed and water tight. The next morning they were done. The sight was clean and everything was pretty much finished. We found Collin to be up front and honest, and Fullmer Brother's to be a quality company, with skilled employees that care about their work, and values their customer's sense of job satisfaction. I would recommend them 100%.
