AVOID THIS COMPANY WHATEVER YOU DO! I spent thousands of dollars on an air conditioner/heat pump 2 years ago. It has never worked properly from the start. Numerous attempts to call lead to being on hold for 30 minutes and when you get a person and schedule for someone to come out, they call the next day and cancel the appointment! Who the hell does that? What kind of customer service is this? My AC has stopped working for the last 3 weeks and my house has been in the 80's and 90's with pets. Yet nobody had come out to even look at it. This is ridiculous. I still have a warranty, but cannot use it. I will NEVER use this company again!

Sam Peck was outstanding. He showed up sooner then expected and went right to work. The job was done quickly, professionally and he was very courteous. Sobieski was the only company that addressed my need in a timely manner, and for half the cost of other quotes, some companies would not even quote a price over the phone. I made appointments with 3 companies for the first available opening and Soebieski respond so quickly that the job was done before I even got a call back from the other companies. If you have a plumbing need --- call Sobieski!

Tom Maclary along with his trainee/assistant came to our home and quickly diagnosed our leaking kitchen sink issue: the faucet was bad. This did not come as a shock since we had seen dripping around it over a period of time. Tom gave us 3 options including purchasing a new one on our own: we chose his picking it up from a plumbing supplier. He and his helper were able to procure the new faucet and install it, all in under 3 hours. By his fast and accurate diagnosis and repair we now have our kitchen back. Kudoos to Tom M, and his assistant.

I refuse to do business with this company. They were good to sell services then become extremely unreliable. I have paid for hvac service and they have yet to perform my winter service. I have tried more than once since October and they keep making excuses. I have requested a full refund as well.

We reported an issue with our HVAC (brand new, just 3 months into service, well within warranty) that it is taking 8-9 hours of non-stop pumping to bring the house temperature from 64F (night setting) to 68F (day setting). The difference of just 4 degrees. The operator on the phone told us it is completely normal for the furnace to take that long. She even quoted some industry standards of 2 hours per 1 degree rising time. She further noted that since in their books taking this long to warm up would be considered normal, any technician that would come out to take a look at it will be billed to us, even though we are under warranty. This puts us in a strange situation where the furnace operation is not normal from our viewpoint, but we cannot use our warranty because the company deems the operation normal. Very strange arrangement. This was not an easy review for us to leave, since on couple other occasions (plumbing issues) Sobieski has been very good, prompt and professional. The HVAC experience, however, has left us reeling... Update: a technician did end up coming and determined the HVAC unit was not properly installed.It was found to be severely malfunctioning, with huge misfires (essentially mini explosions). They fixed it, but not until all the above back-and-forth, which was unnecessary. Still a lower star rating form us for all the negative experience and improperly installed brand new HVAC unit in the first place.

Sobieski is really GOOD! My heater craped out in the middle of snow storm last week. I called and the gentleman who came was a total professional - shoe covered before he walked inside, diagnosed the problem and immediately told me the cause of the problem and how much it will cost to fix as well as gave me options. I chose and he began work - in one hour he was doe. The job was a successfully completed including the replaced part. Color me impressed with such rare professionalism in that business. I will recommend Sobieski without reservations.

Horrible installation of a heat pump unit that stopped working two hours after they left. Sobieski "technicians" try to cut every corner possible, units weren't leveled properly, lines run improperly, leaking ductwork and a huge mess for me to clean up. The follow up service is non-existent: get this - on a heat wave july 4 week, they have 1 service person on call for the entire tri state area, so you will wait a long time for any help. Avoid this company!

November 2017, we contacted Paul in the new home warranty department for a repair of my shower. Paul is a very bad coordinator for getting the job done. They came to my home and left a big hole in the shower area and told me they are not responsible for closing it. He was suppose to be the coordinator to have everyone in place to do the job correctly. Three attempts under Paul were not successful at getting the job done. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The reason given was that there was a high volume of emergency calls due to "heat wave". I was not aware of a heat wave going on nor due I think a person with a service contract s/b bumped. Donovan works methodically and efficiently, keeps good, readable records and communicates very well. On the Spring '15 inspection he uncovered an air conditioning oversight overlooked by the builder and on two spring visits by two different techs.It has since been addressed. We highly recommend him and will request him again in the future.

The first representative I talked to was great. The service tech who came out was great. The rest of my experience was terrible. I had to take a whole day off of work because they could not give me a time frame of when they were coming out. Then at 10:30am they called to cancel the appointment for that day. After i had confirmed it the day before. They then set up a Saturday morning appointment for me so I would not need to take another day off, the called on Friday afternoon to say that they had my appointment set up at 7:00pm and they were wondering if i could do a day during the next week! I was livid! They finally came out on Sunday morning. The customer service to set up the appointment is great, but the schedulers and the dispatchers suck at their jobs. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Very disappointed in the service I have received. I moved into a new construction home three years ago and my A/C unit broke for the first time last year. Sobieski took over two weeks to fix the unit, in part due to excuses of the part being ordered not coming in on time and then being broken, etc. One year after the repair, my A/C unit has again stopped working. I called Sobieski this morning and was told the best they can do is get someone out to my house to take a look in 6 days. I would not recommend their services. Update: I had another company come out to fix the leaking coils in my A/C unit only to find out the compressor that Sobieski installed last year blew out AGAIN. Per the contractor, the compressor was improperly installed by Sobieski which resulted in the leaking coils. Sobieski refuses to acknowledge fault. Furthermore, every time I contact their customer service line and request to speak to a supervisor, they are unable to put me in touch with one. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Update: Equipment with leaking coils is leaking again, one month later. Called Sobieski three times and asked to speak with a manager to discuss how to proceed because the manufacturer of the unit said I needed a site visit from the distributor in order to have the manufacturer cover replacement or repairs of the equipment. The first two times I was informed that an email would be sent to the manager and he would contact me later today. Third time I called I was told there is 1 manager for the entire company and there was no one else higher than the rep I was on the phone with who I could speak with. The rep also informed me she could not guarantee when a manager would contact me. Again, terrible service.

Rasheed installed a housewide humidification system and was great...he was timely and efficient and clearly explained all the work he would be doing prior to starting. Upon completion, he walked us through the entire system and answered all our questions clearly. I would definitely recommend Sobieski and Rasheed to anyone in need of HVAC services.

This is in response to the reply from Sobieski. My complaint is not about not knowing the cost upfront. My complaint is the cost itself. Basically, labor cost was about $800 per hour of labor. This is outrageous. That being said, Sobieski posted their email in the response and I sent an email immediately giving my contact information. I have sense set a follow email two weeks after the first one and I’ve yet to hear back from Sobieski. They should change their email address from “we care” to “we don’t care”. Sobiesky was the primary installer of my HVAC on my 4 1/2 year old home. I felt obligated to call Sobieski because of the warranty. Sobieski recently replaced a blower on my furnace and the part was under warranty which meant the part was free. However the labor cost was almost $800 for approximately 1 hour of work. In addition I payed almost $200 for the service call and the diagnostic check. Basically about $1,000 for labor for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours of work. This is outrageous but I didn’t know the install cost until the job was completed. I feel like I paid for the part, Sobieski’s markup for the part, and the labor cost for installing a part that was under warranty. Do your homework before you are at the mercy of Sobieski.

Our furnace went died and I met with three very reputable companies and decided on Sobieski based on value we received. Not only did we do our furnace we also replaced hot water heater and and our AC unit due to the of the units. The installation team was first in class and very professional. Arrived on time and they worked nine hours to complete the project. I would highly recommend Sobieski Services.

I would put no stars if I could. We had a leak from the cutoff valve to our outdoor spigot. The technician shut off our water and replaced the valve. But when he turned the main water back on, he didn't check those valves. As he was leaving, he said those valves might leak too and that we should keep an eye on them. (Instead of waiting and checking himself.) A few minutes later we have major and fast-running leaks, which required us to turn off our water completely. Still leaking but somewhat slower. So I have twice as many leaks as when we started, and I essentially have no water for the entire weekend, perhaps longer, because Suez needs to completely shut off all water supply before the new leaks can be addressed. Thanks Sobieski, for making a bad situation SO MUCH WORSE.

If i could give them less than 1 star I could. I have been forced to deal with them for new construction and they are terrible with responding. Every time someone is at my house (if they show, which sometimes they don't), I have to chase them down. I get no returned calls and have had an unusable toilet for 4 months. I have reached out 3 times in the past month and they have yet to call me back to schedule an appointment to repair it with the part they had to order (which was almost 2 months ago). Our HVAC system is still not calibrated and whistles, even though they have come out to fix that too. If you can avoid using them, I strongly recommend going with someone who is responsive. Communication is the foundation of trust, and they have not been able to come through with the basics let alone provide expert assistance.

When I made the appointment, I explained that the humming noise we heard in our master bathroom and laundry room was intermittent, and sure enough, when Scott arrived, there was no noise. He did his best to locate the source of the sound that was not there, but all his efforts were in vain. He checked every possible area from which the humming might have originated and didn't deem us "crazy." We certainly appreciated his willingness to help us, and just as we expected, about two hours after his departure, the humming came back!

I purchased a HVAC contract to cover my heater, air conditioning and plumbing systems. When the plumbing inspection was performed on November 24, 2017, I shared with the technician that the hose on my Moen kitchen sink was leaking. He took pictures and promised to order the hose for my sink since it is covered by a lifetime warranty. He told me that I would receive the hose in 7-10 days. To date, I have not received the hose and I have called Sobieski numerous times, left messages for the technician and his supervisor. The first time I called, I was told that the hose was ordered and I would receive it within a few days. The next time I called, I was told that the technician or his supervisor would call me. To date, no response from Sobieski. I should also mention that the technician falsified the paper work he turned in stating that there was no further actions required. However, my documentation stated that he would order the hose. The maintenance contract was paid in full; all I want is the quality service that I've paid for.

He checked and they actually had one in stock so he drove to the warehouse, picked it up and installed it the same day! Really great service. Really great professional attitude and workmanship. Horrible. Sobieski installed our system 3 years ago. We called for emergency service when the system completely shut off on a Thursday. After calling twice, the dispatcher finally called us back. They told us the earliest a normal tech could come out was the following week, unless we wanted to pay triple the service call fee and they could get someone out over the weekend. Triple service fee for a 48hour plus wait... no thanks. We called R&D heating and cooling and they came out within the hour, William had us up and running and charged us a fraction of the fee quoted by Sobieski.

The HVAC technician from Sobieski Services arrived within the window provided when the appointment was scheduled. He promptly donned the 'booties' when he entered my home, explained the purpose of his visit, and gave an approximate amount of time his service would require. I think he finished in less time than anticipated. Following completion of the service, he provided a report indicating that my system was operating within its specifications. He also provided me an opportunity to purchase a replacement air filter (declined) and to also make a payment for the renewal of my maintenance contract (declined).

The worst plumbing company! Our shower leaks constantly in a new construction home that Sobieski plumbed less than a year ago. After 5 months they still have not fixed it! First attempt they did not show-up, 2nd time they showed up but did not have parts, third time they claimed they fixed but it started to leak the next and fourth attempt (today) they did not show up - even after I kept checking with the service manager (Paul D) to ensure they would show up. They are the most inconsiderate and incompetent service company! They wasted 16 hours of my time and the issue is not resolved yet!

Would just like to recognize the Professionalism of your Service Tech Elton. He called prior to the service visit, was on-time, in a clean uniform and was prepared and knowledgeable. Elton proceeded to work on the system going through the required protocol identified by Sobieski's process and procedures. He checked the filter system, cleaned the interior of the furnace and validated all electrical and mechanical settings. I would highly recommend this Tech. Chris did a great job! Introduced himself, explained what he would be doing. Went to work and completed the tune up in a reasonable amount of time. He then explained how the system is working. Offered to do a free water test, which he did and explained the results. He also suggested purchasing a new filter that should be changed in a month. He explained other options that are available through Sobieski Services. At all times when he was in my home he wore protective covers on his shoes. He is friendly and knowledgeable. Great customer service techniques. A job well done!

To attempt to write a fair review, the positive is the people that answer the phone are always very nice and attempt to be helpful. Now the negative. Be very careful with new installation. Initial project took 3 weeks to complete when they committed to 2 days tops. Three technicians were supposed to work the first day but only two showed. The installers were at my house until 10 pm and I had to send them home as I was concerned about the quality of their work after they had been working for 14 hours (it was a hot day). Once installed, the heat pump did not work but was told it was working properly. Still waiting to get that fixed. The worst part is I woke up this morning, the coldest day of the year so far and the furnace was completely shut down and the humidifier leaked all over the basement floor. When you call they say how can I make you smile. You can make me smile by just providing what I paid for.

Awful experience. To make a long story short, we were recommended Sobieski which turned out to be a disaster. Their first time out to the house they acted like they never seen a grinder pump and told us our pump was commercial. Also, we would have to have the area drained to which they could not perform. Barely gave use information on how to go about that. After $275+ draining the sewer, Sobieski comes back out the next morning and has no updated notes. They basically say the same reasoning for the prior visit. After that hassle, they give a misdiagnosis on our grinder pump, have the supervisor tell us the job is now over $5000 more than they first quoted, and then leave without a bill, clean up , or actual work performed. Will never call them again. Of course this all happened on a Friday which we were told they could fix that same day since we could not use any plumbing since the day prior. But, them leaving at 2pm made it so we were unable to call someone else in time. Had to go all weekend with no plumbing and call a small company who saved us about $500, taking an extra day to fix it. "crappy" week!

Tech scheduled between 8am-9am, typically I always get a text message saying technician is on the way around 30min prior but today I didn't, so I called at around 7:30am to check if someone is on the way (I had to ask for time off from work for this appointment, so I don't want to waste my time), Paul answered and told me it's between 8-9, and it's not 8-9 yet, I asked to just get a confirmation if the tech would be here on-time because I didn't get a "tech is on the way" text msg, and kept being told the same thing it's not 8-9 yet, tech should be here between 8-9. Well guess what, it's 9:30am now, I am late for my work, and no one is here. Called at 9:05am to find out why, receptionist first asked "how can we make you smile", after I told her the technician is late, guess what she said? she told me "well, it's only 5 minute after....." I was so mad because I don't know why she said that, 5 minutes is still late for an hour window, and people got work to get to. You want to make your customer smile how about be on-time next time? if it is not their fault miss-installed my bath-tub (no trap underneath so the bath smell like sewer all the time) to begin with, I wouldn't even consider using their service today. Update: I had to leave to get to work at 9:35am, got a call from Paul again 9:46am claiming the technician has been waiting in front of my house for 20min. First of I told him, no the technician has not been there for the past 20min because my security camera just picked him up at 9:40:59am. Not sure why he told me that false information, second of, through out the entire conversation, Sobieski didn't apologize once for any inconvenience this caused me and acted like there's nothing wrong. In October 2018 we called Sobieski to come repair our AC unit. While there, the technician, who was great, discussed adding a service plan to our account. We decided on the Gold Membership which covers our AC and Heater. So on March 15, I called to schedule my heater tune up and was told the plan I had did not cover my heater because I had an oil heater and the plan only covered a gas heater (which we discussed my OIL heater when setting up the Membership). I was told I would need to back pay an additional $16.XX/month and continue to pay to new price of $ 36.XX/month. I requested to cancel my membership since it doesn't cover my oil heater. Why would I have a plan that covers something that I don't even have? I was told I could not cancel without paying a fee of what is now reduced to $29.60 (was $80+). After what is now going on two weeks, I have spoken with Heather and Kyle Quam and am now impatiently waiting to hear back from George Bowersox who is "standing firm" on his decision to charge me the $29.60 (which is the amount paid versus a discount I received back in October). I would understand if I had just randomly enrolled in a plan to get a discount then tried cancelling, but in my case I assumed the plan was set up correctly when I called to schedule my tune up. I have not utilized any services offered under my plan other than the initial measley "discount" I received. I have my doubts that I will hear back from anyone, because each time I have heard those words, I have not received a call back. I am sure I will have to call again to speak with someone. Stay Away From the Scammers! Oh and apparently an annual oil heater tune up, without their plan, would run me $700. I have been paying Sheller Oil in West Chester $199 per tune up. As for the AC repair back in October that I paid over $1,000 for, I had to have someone else come out and do the repair. Saved me over $500 even with their plan "discount".

UPDATE - After speaking with a manager from Sobieski, the situation improved. Kyle was very apologetic and sympathetic. He listened well and was very understanding. Once he learned the details of our experience, he immediately started working on a remediation plan. Kyle was a man of his word throughout the few days I spoke with him. When he said he was going to call back, he did. After speaking with the powers at be, Sobieski concluded that the only way to make me and my family whole was to refund us $163, the FULL AMOUNT of the additional charge on the day of installation. The refund was processed immediately. We were thrilled with the outcome. My experience with Sobieski was horrible!!! Called to have a technician come out and look at our non-working heater. Tech comes out and we pay him $129 to diagnose our problem. He tells us we need a part and he orders it from our manufacturer, since the part is under warranty. Says he will call us back later that day (Friday) or Monday at the latest to let us know when he’ll be back with the part. Quoted us $414 for the repair. No call back on Friday. No call back on Monday. I called Sobieski TWICE on Monday looking for an update, since it was 52 degrees in my house and we have 2 small children. Both phone calls ended in a promise to call us back with a status, which NEVER happened. We finally get a call back on Tuesday letting us know that the part won’t be in until Friday!!! Are you kidding??? From Friday to Friday to get a part on a 2 year old heater!!! My entire family had to endure 7 days of NO HEAT! When the tech returns on Friday to fix our heat, how convenient is it that he finds ANOTHER issue with the heater. One that he never spoke during the intial diagnostic visit for which he was paid! Now he tells us that a new part has to be ordered and it’s gonna take ANOTHER WEEK!!!! WHAT?!?!? Then he mentions that if we want heat today, he’d be willing to SELL us a part he has on his truck. That was our only option if we didn’t want our kids to freeze for another week. So our intial $414 quote suddenly jumped to a whopping $577!!! And of course he reminded us that even though our situation was unfortunate, “there was nothing he can do”. Biggest lie EVER!!!! Between the unreturned phone calls and the “new problem” that was discovered at a very vulnerable time for us, it is crystal clear that Sobieski JUST DIDN’T CARE! The lack of consideration, understanding, and empathy was incredible. Never again Sobieski. NEVER AGAIN!

I want to be fair about my review on this so I will give the pros and cons as I experienced them. Pros: 1. They installed many of the fixtures and plumbing in my new construction home and only one of them had an issue. 2. They are responsive as it relates to their Google reviews customer service. Cons: 1. They are not 24 hours. They have a messaging service that takes message during off hours. 2. Their warranty service time window was pretty bad for me. It was upwards of seven days for a sewer smell in the bathroom. (Ended up being a bad wax seal.) I can safely give it three stars for average service. It wasn't bad or good but rather just 'meh' overall and I wouldn't likely choose them personally in the future. However, others have had great experiences with them. I'm simply giving you my view of them from my experience.

WILL NOT recommend them even for an enemy. Very Disappointed with the customer care , scheduling and services and am stuck with them for a year ... So this is what is happening . We recently closed on a home (new construction and Sobieski did the plumbing and vent for the gas range. On a over site on part of the builder and us we missed to notice that the water outlet for the refrigerator was not installed . We realized this after the closing so now we have to contact Sobieski to fix the problem . As per the "protocals and agreements" the builder cannot be involved as we already closed on the house . So starts our problems with Sobieski . The builder is still trying to be helpful and made the call on our behalf. When my builder called them ( 2 weeks ago ) they told him they ( sobieski) called us to schedule the appointment but we had not received the call. This happened a couple of times and then my husband made multiple calls and finally gets the appointment a week later between 12 - 4 . On the day of the appointment (yesterday) the service guys arrive at 5:30 and without even introducing himself he walks in as asks me what the problem was so I explain it to him and then he goes to the basement to check something as asking me if there is a box behind the refrigerator. ( Hellloooo that was the problem , there is no box for water ). Then he says he cannot move the refrigerator and has to get a tool to move it and goes out asking me to schedule another appointment. Not to mention he was very rude in all the conversations we had in that 15 mins he was at home (not going into details) . So I speak to my builder again and he gave a call to sobieski this morning explained what happened yesterday and my builder was promised that we would be getting a call to set up the appointment today and I am still waiting for a call with the schedule. There is problem with the range hood vent as well and I am not going to start on that . They are the worst of all the service guys I have seen so far.. I wish I was not bound to the home warranties . Reply: 7/26/2018 Hi Erin, Thank you for responding. I am not sure if you are from the scheduling department. But no one answers the call at the scheduling dept. I mean i have other things to do besides just trying to reaching you guys all day. And it not just me trying to reach you guys my builder is trying to reach you guys as well and if always goes on voice mail. Salesperson touted the many great reasons why we should hire Sobieski. None came true. It took nearly 6 weeks for them to start the installation during which they had our deposit of nearly $5k. Once they started, they left a mess everywhere they went. They never clean-up, never wore booties, or other housekeeping they had promised. They broke the lock on the door. They took nearly two months to finish (not the two days promised). Said they would cover the lines up the side of the house with really nice material. "Won't look like gutter material like the last people put up." They put up white gutter to cover their lines. We paid twice the price of the best bid, but didn't get twice the service. Be wary. 7-1-18 Update: during the recent heat wave our less than one year old ac system was not able to keep the temperature below 77. We looked at the unit and most of the duct tape was detached, none of the bottom seams were sealed and the slot for a filter was empty. Cold air was pouring out into our attic. They REALLY did a slipshod installation. So disappointed.

This is a horrible company and I will not recommend to anyone. I purchased a new unit from them because they are Costco trusted vendor. However, their service is terrible. I'm trying to make an appointment with them and they never tell me when they can come and I have to call them again and again tell them about my preferred time is in the afternoon. The day before the appointment, I did not receive any phone calls from the company about when they will come. My husband and I have to take the day off using our vacation for the appointment. Finally they called me 10 am the day of the appointment and simply because I'm in a meeting and cannot answer the phone call, they canceled my appointment. This company is really ruin the image of Costco and I can't believe it use Costco's name to get the business.

Would not recommend! I hardly ever leave reviews, but this company is a complete sham. We contacted them regarding the installation of a new AC & furnace. Once the paperwork was signed and installation was done, dealing with them has been a nightmare. We chose a specific unit based on the unit itself and on the rebates that Darren, the sales person (which is also the in-law to the owner) stated that it came with. First I had to reach out to them multiple times just to get a detailed invoice with all of the model and serial numbers of everything installed. Then it took 4 months of going back and forth with them and countless emails (which I've kept as proof to show the constant runaround and lies they gave us) to finally get the rebate that was stated. We finally get the rebate and it was less than what was discussed and agreed. They may seem great before you sign up with them, but expect the bait and switch once they have your money. I wholeheartedly regret ever choosing them. Buyer Beware.

7/27/2018: Replaced Capacitor. Bill $89 Service Charge, capacitor $213 Told part not covered under warranty by technician, but called manufacturer and it is covered. New Ryan home, 4 years old. Called Sobieski, spoke with Mike B., not too helpful, who said the part is $11. So the charge is $291 to install an $11 part? Really? I will pay the $89 service charge, but I am not paying $213 for a part under warranty. Ridiculous! I will not use this company again and will be more than happy to pass along this experience to all our neighbors as well as on social media. I contacted ICP. They confirmed the parts were covered under warranty, totally opposite what I was told by the technician. I called this company because I thought they knew what they were doing. ICP provided a case number which Mike B was not interested in hearing about. Yep, they want to work with me? Haven't heard from them since this was posted. Reliability, truthful? Not!

I have used Sobieski for both our heat pump and our plumbing and had nothing but positive experiences. This time I called them because our son didn't notice the toilet continued to run and two hours later we had running water and a shut off valve that didn't work. I was able to get it to stop but we still have to get a toilet to work 5 days before Christmas. The staff were understanding and kind, explained that it would be one more day due to the rush but offered to add us to a wait list. The plumber came the next day, explained everything, answered all of our questions and replaced the inside of the toilet completely after we could see the additional problems about to start. THERE WAS NO PRESSURE, we were offered several options and we selected the one that would preclude additional problems. Tom wore booties inside the house, was respectful of our property, flushed and re-flushed the toilet many times to make sure it worked and checked the newly installed cut off valve. He even offered some suggestions about another issue that we had concerns about and were saving to fix. I see these negative reviews and all I can say is that has NEVER been my experience. After two other HVAC businesses, including one that seems to charge the highest price and then disappear forever, I find Sobieski a breath of fresh air and was EXTREMELY SATISFIED with their work. I will be calling them again to do more work for us in the spring.

The worst.. stay away.. I set the temperature to 68 and two hours later it still was hot.. 86 degrees. Technician disrespected me in front my kids because he felt the ac system was working. Follow-up: I had to result to posting my concerns online when I was unable to reach anyone at headquarters (Customer Service would not provide a phone number). I am glad to report that the post was effective, my concerns are to be addressed, and the pending service work was completed this week. I am cautiously optimistic that service expectations will start to improve, and that I will once again be able to recommend this company to others. I have been a loyal customer for 30 years, with few complaints. But in the last 8-10 months, the change in customer service has been dramatic. Constant changes to scheduled appointments, technician no-shows, a technician calling ME to say he is really sick and asking if we REALLY need him to come, customer service confirming the technician is on his way and no one showing for hours or at all, service managers ignoring my phone messages asking for callbacks to get answers to these problems, being placed on hold by customer service and being disconnected, the list goes on. Sobieski has installed all of our home systems, we pay for service agreements to maintain these systems, schedule well in advance to allow for our own job schedules and timely maintenance, and still are treated poorly. The complete sense of confusion and incompetence that has taken hold of their customer service and technician staff is baffling.

There was parts that need to be ordered and Chris will return to finish the job. I feel very satisfied that we are getting our money's worth of service. We also signed up for a annual heating/cooling maintenance check program for both of our heat pumps and because of the service we got today.

This past year, my wife and I recently bought and moved in to an older home in the Landenberg Pa area. The home we purchased had oil heat and a hvac system that was over 15 years old. During our first winter we had to spend over $400 per month to keep the home warm and still had areas of the home that remained cold. During the recent summer months the temps in our upstairs bedrooms made it almost unbearable to sleep during the night regardless of the fact that the AC was running constantly around the clock. Eventually the cooling system died, and I had two company’s out that told me it was a power issue to the outside unit and neither one could fix it and that I needed to call an electrician… around that same time my wife heard a radio commercial for Sobieski that caught her attention so we decided to give them a call as a last ditch effort to find out what was really going on with our system. One of their experts came out and spent almost 2 hours asking my wife and I questions, taking measurements of the ductwork, he also did a “load Calc” of our home. It seemed overwhelming at the time but as I type this from my cool office, I can say it was absolutely necessary and more than worth it. He explained everything he had learned to my wife and I in a way that we could understand along with what he would do if it was his parents’ home (he was a few years younger than us). Needless to say we decided to have Sobieski replace our entire system. The scope of work included replacing both our outside AC and our Indoor Furnace along with some modifications to our existing ductwork that would help the amount of air being moved in our ducts. He was able to schedule the install within two days from that afternoon. Sobieski also arranged for an additional technician to come help the three man install crew to help ensure the job would be done as quickly as possible with our their guys having to rush. Nate was the install crew leader and his attention to detail was crazy. The expert we met with a few days earlier was also at our home the morning the job began which surprised me. I appreciated them inviting me to join them as they both walked through the job and what was to be done and they even made it a point to ask me if there was anything I was concerned about before they got started (there wasn’t). Nate’s crew was a machine, my wife ordered them pizza for lunch and she had to tell them to stop thanking her, each taking a turn to devour 2 slices in 5 min before getting back to work. By that afternoon we would hang meat inside our home if we wanted to, which after having now AC for 4 days, we wanted to. The office called us that afternoon to make sure everything went well and I explained how pleased we were with the amount of care the installers demonstrated for our home. They wore shoe covers after I told them they didn’t have to, and laid drop clothes down everywhere they had to walk throughout the whole house. We had a complex project that included switching from oil to propane and going from a AC to a Heat Pump on top of needing our air ducts rearranged/improved and I am glad we chose Sobieski to do it.

Willie came out to my house to clean the main drain. He was on time and very professional.......we had a few laughs ....he took control of the problem and even gave me a quote for replacement if I should needed it in the future....so I got the best price available ...along with the best service...what a deal.....If you need a plumber ....Willie is the man....and my dogs like him too...you gotta love people with great attitudes

We had an issue with our heater, and he knew what the problem was before he even looked at it. He checked to make sure he was right. I took a day off from work to have my electric water heater replaced with a natural gas water heater. I had an 8-12 window. When I made the appointment the customer representative told me I would be the first appointment of the day. Either that was a lie or it was a promise she should not have made. I waited until 10:30 and I had to call customer service to be given an excuse and told they would call me when the tech was on his way. It's now 1:00. They wasted my day off and have lost my business. I've been on hold for 15 minutes waiting to tell them to cancel. If you have to take a day off to have Plumbing/HVAC work done, use a different company. Sobieski's lacks the manpower or integrity to keep their appointments/promises.

He took care of an issue I had mentioned to 2-3 other technicians who just sort of blew it off and said there was no problem. He was very clear and continued to ask me if I had any other questions. He taught me about my system and suggested some simple things I could do to keep it running more trouble free. He is a tremendous asset and representative for Sobieski.

Today, Sobieski sent out Zach H. for my gas leak issue from my newly installed hot water heater on Monday. Zach brought an electronic gas detector (A must have for diagnosing the source of a gas leak) It was not the new flex line or fittings...but the gas control itself. Zach made a call got the new part and installed it within an hour. He even installed a new aluminum vent pipe connector. The problem has been corrected and family and I have piece of mind... I sent a quote request and got an email for appointment and Ian Murphy called and confirmed the appointment. Received a call that morning and that he was on his way so I cancelled my patients and went to facility, waited and called for ETA, no answer and after 45 minutes past our appointment I received a text that he can't make it. Their guaranty of NO waiting is no good since its really a NO SHOW, NO CALL ! I will NEVER recommend this company !

Sobieski is literally the worst company I have ever dealt with, and that includes Comcast. Involuntarily, Sobieski was responsible for installing the heating, cooling, and plumbing in my new townhome last summer. Since that time, there have been no less than 4 major issues related to Sobieski's work. It's been impossible trying to track anyone down over there to hold them accountable: 1) they did not install the drain from a tub properly, which destroyed the entire ceiling below where the bathroom was; 2) they cracked PVC piping in the basement, which caused that pipe to leak water all over the basement floor; 3) they did not properly balance the HVAC vents, which cause the front 2 bedrooms of the house to be extremely hot or cold, we had to run a space heater in our infant's room all winter (this is a brand new house, I remind you); and they left debris in the drains from the fire suppression system, causing me to fail my initial backflow test with Aqua. This latest issue is still ongoing, as no one has given me any kind of help at all, and now Aqua is threatening to shut my water off if this is not resolved. When you call them, they always have someone answer and ask "How can we make you smile?", then as soon as they realize they have a problem they need to address, you get transferred from person to person until you're inevitably dropped completely. I truly wish I didn't have to deal with them, and I'd recommend anyone else to stay far away from them.

The actual service was fine but not actually getting a time. The window of time I was given 7 AM to 7 PM is not a window I like. When I received a reminder call they said they would keep me posted on the progress of the service agent I never heard anything, at 2:30 I had to call to see if I was still scheduled. I told them I preferred a morning appointment. I was told they would call me a half an hour before they got here , I did get a call at 4:10 the agent told me he would be there in five minutes. I wasted a whole day waiting for them if I had gone to work I would’ve missed them because it takes 45 minutes for me to get home . I don’t understand why they cannot give you at least a 2 to 4 hour window when you make your appointment. I wonder what people do who cannot leave your work and make it home in 30 minutes or 5 minutes.
