We are highly pleased with our new roof! The entire process ran smoothly from the detailed estimate Jesse gave us to the installation which took place over several days. The materials are first rate (the CertainTeed roofing system), and the installation was done with care and skill, thanks to Steve, James, Romero et. al. We also love the new dormer siding which they also installed. The entire staff was excellent, coordinated by Danika in the office, and everyone was more than willing to answer all our questions in an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly manner. Our roof is warrantied for 50 years! Thanks for the great work!

We were impressed with JR Walker Roofing from the very beginning. Scheduling the estimate was hassle free. On the day of the estimate, Jessie arrived early. When he met with my husband, he was informative and not pushy. For insurance purposes, we had to get our roof replaced within a matter of 3 weeks. Jessie was able to squeeze us in within the 3-week period and completed our roof (along with repairing a piece of our old siding) in a day and ½. After the work was done we had a minor concern. Jessie quickly addressed it without hesitation. We will definitely recommend JR Walker Roofing to our family and friends.

JR Walker Roofing was referred to me by 2 friends who had been serviced by them. Jesse and Danika provided excellent service, answered all my questions and even more after I received quotes from 2 other contractors. I ultimately decided to use JR Walker Roofing to have my roof replaced..they weren't the lowest cost or the highest cost, but I was most comfortable choosing them to do the work based on the candor and professionalism, as well as the referrals. Great work! My roof was replaced July 14, 2017. I have already referred them to 2-3 other friends. Excellent work and quality materials! Because I have a low slope flat roof and needed a complete tear off, I research extensively and received several proposals. Because the roof protects everything within the house itself, I was considering not only cost, but also material quality and company reputation. I was by far, most comfortable with J. R. Walker Roofing. In addition to replacing my roof, Jesse’s team replaced slates on bay windows and woodwork that rotted because it had been poorly installed by a previous contractor who did shoddy work. Jesse’s proposal clearly outlined the scope of work and materials and he kept me updated throughout the process. Jesse and his entire team were very friendly and clearly took pride in the quality of their work. I could not be happier with my decision to use J.R. Walker Roofing for my roof replacement and I could not be more impressed with the quality of their work. I would highly recommend J.R. Walker Roofing.

This is an outstanding company to work with. I cannot recommend them enough! After being ignored for several weeks by several large, established companies, I hired them to repair a small leak in my roof. Jesse, the owner, came out the next day, and I had an estimate in hand that afternoon! The repair was complicated. I have an old home with a roof that is mostly cedar shakes, but there is also a flat asphalt section on an addition. The repair involved repairs to both roofs. They did an absolutely beautiful job replacing the cedar shakes and nice job on the flat roof as well. They also repaired / replaced several sections of my rain gutters . I subsequently hired them back to seal and make some minor repairs to the flat membrane roof on my garage, they also replaced some rotten fascia boards and a section of rain gutter. Their crew did a great job again and it happened to be one of the hottest days of the summer, so my hat is really off to them. I am hiring them again to make some more minor repairs. Jesse is extremely personable and professional to work with. Additionally, his team in the office is very professional and returns calls and emails promptly. I think their prices are very fair and reasonable for the quality of the work they do.

We just recently had a new roof done that we are very pleased with. First of all, I feel that the pricing was very reasonable. I also like the fact that they showed up early and got right to work. J.R Walker Roofing is the best choice. I originally hired another roofer to tear off and install a new EPDM roof. They took the money, did not do the job right, left me with leaks, did not follow the contract and disappeared. I heard about J.R Walker though their great reputation. I knew they were the people to call to fix this. Danika the office manager immediately had Jesse out to the house the next day to see what they could do for me. Jesse immediately saw all the things that were done wrong and located the source of all the leaks. The same day they had emailed me a contract with exactly what needed to be done to correct the roof. They gave me a timeline and kept in constant communication with me with what was going on. They arrived on time and got the job done above and beyond expectations. There craftsmanship and attention to detail is truly unbeatable. They make sure the customer is happy. If you need a new roof they are the best choice.

J.R. Walker Roofing put a new roof on my house May of 2019. It was done in one day. The workers were skilled, friendly and polite. The job was well done. Jesse answered my many questions during the estimate, during the work, and afterward. He and Danica in the office were very patient. Their follow up was terrific, they really went the xtra mile. I have to say I shared the post job photos, done with a drone, with my family because they were so impressive. Bottom line, I felt taken care of. Recently read all of these wonderful reviews and was sure they were going to be with winners when I asked for quotes. They were the second to come out and look at my roof. I made it clear in the email what I wanted - a complete redo - the roof, flashing, trim - everything - Danika said no problem. We had 2 leaks in the roof and one on the porch. They had someone out in a week - it took another week to get the quote. The paperwork did not list anything around the porch, trim, a complete redoing of the roof or replacement of the gutters. It was a roof tune up for my townhome 1100 sq ft $4500 - about what my neighbor paid for his whole new roof - not bad considering my pitch is much worse but not what I asked for. When I brought this up in my reply email I was told "We truly appreciate you considering us for the work that you need on your home. However, we do not feel that we will be able to dedicate ourselves to providing the level of service that you need at this time. We are still a very small business and we have recently been inundated with a large number of new clients and are it would be some time before we could begin any work on your home. I wish you the very best with finding a contractor who will be able to take on your project in a more timely manner!" I don't even know what the hell that means - I asked for a new roof, trim because the wood is rotting and there are holes and I get basically told get lost.

I did not know it was possible to be this happy with a roofer, but I am beyond happy with my choice to do business with J.R. Walker Roofing. I had a small leak happening so Jesse’s team came out and checked it out and decided it needed to be resealed. I have a flat roof, and these things happen. A week or 2 after the work was done, a water spot formed downstairs in my ceiling and I called them right away. They came out as soon as it stopped raining to check it out and fix it. They found out the problem was not my roof, but on my neighbors, so there’s nothing they could do, right? Wrong, they worked out a deal to help us get my neighbors roof fixed immediately so that the problem would not get worse over the next 3 days of rain we are expecting I have no patience for dealing with home related problems, and I try to find companies that care about their reputation and the quality of their work for this exact reason. I’m sure I could have had it done cheaper, but no cheap labor is going to care enough to go as far above and beyond as Jesse and his team have. They are now solid on my holiday gift list and the only people I will call for roof problems.

"If it sounds to good to be true it is" this is so true I live my life by this saying until week of hell having 3 roofers from home advisers come to our Delaware home and give us extremely high estimates, and my own cousin tried to fast talk me. Finally frustrated I was telling my neighbor how bad all these roofers are back stabbing business. He recommended J.R Walker roofing whom is owned by Jesse Walker and he done a great job for him. Sceptical I was but I contacted Jesse and didn't even see him but got a price for a top of the line roof thousands cheaper than any roofer, cant be. Spoke with Danika from J.R Roofing and explained how frustrating I was with all the other roofers in Delaware and how Jesse's prices are great and she explained to me how he is a hands on owner, roofer, salesman , and he has a great crew. Well I am Jesse's biggest fan, him and his team gave me and my family a great roof. He is honest will give you a great deal. My wife treated his team to lunch and plenty of water because she was so happy. I want to also say His Forman Dominic was awesome and efficient . Jesse and his crew did a fantastic job on the replacement of siding, windows, gutters and fascia on our home. This is the second time i have used his services. The reason I returned was because It was necessary to call him back to the original job to check a problem ( which ended up not being related to his work) . He returned until the problem resolved. It is not often that a company will return after they have your money. I strongly recommend Jesse Walkers Services to my friends and neighbors.

I initially contacted JR Walker online not having known a roofer. I had fairly unique problem in having a flat roof deck with a railing above my sun room that was in need of repair due to water seeping under the roof through the "sealing" of the original railing system. Half the roofers I talked to would not quote a solution due to the challenges of the situation. JR Walker was prompt in setting up the initial assessment and Jesse was very thorough in assesing the situation, clearly explaining his solution, and even leaving samples of material that he would use. After reviewing multiple solution I choose to move forward with JR Walker at which point a time was set up quickly for work to begin. Speaking with Danika on the phone was always a pleasure. The customer service throughout the process was friendly and helpful, all the workers on site were extremely professional, and four days of work later I now have the gorgeous new roof deck shown in the picture. I would highly recommend JR Walker to anyone in need of a roof.
