We engaged Ferris to replace our patio slider doors. We decided to order the doors with shades between the glass, since the sunroom gets afternoon sun. It was a special order, which we knew, which took a few weeks, which was not a problem. The door was installed August 9, 2019 by Wayne and a helper from Ferris. They arrived on time, ready to work. They carefully removed the old door and all moldings around it. The new door is really quite beautiful, very high quality, and the embedded shades are so nice, much better than the wicker manual shades we had. After the install was complete, they cleaned up the area, including vacuuming, and showed us how to use our new door, including registering it's warranty. Wayne did an outstanding job installing it, and we are happy to recommend he and Ferris for any repair or remodel projects you might have. Wayne works on windows and doors exclusively, and I am sure other teams have different specialties. We will definitely ask them to estimate any future remodel projects we have. I don't think you can go wrong with Ferris.

I often share this with neighbors, clients, family and friends and that is my experience with Mike Zaiss at Ferris Home Improvements. Being a REALTOR I can't begin to explain other horror stories but NOT in this situation. We obtained several quotes on our work to be done for the home which at the time included a new roof, full wooden replacement windows and looking to replace our siding on the home. I felt I had narrowed down our choices for windows and roof but needed more information on siding. Mike was the only sales representative who listened to my concerns and made several presentations to supply such information. Everyone else wanted to sell what they wanted to sell. At the time we wanted more information on a product that was being used more frequently for example down at the beach that seemed to surpass other siding products. Plus we had a few other questions also for this enormous task and to do this in the appropriate stages and basically wrap it up in one package. To this day our house has been available for any other Real Estate agents to preview and even other clients for Ferris that need to have a look. We love it and now we will need Mike once again for our kitchen and bathrooms. Talk to him and see the difference.

My husband and I recently had a deck with a roof added onto our house by Ferris Home Improvement. Spencer Malcomb was our salesman. Having never added on to our house before, he was a huge help giving us suggestions for the deck. The materials were delivered in a timely manner and construction began immediately after. Our electric and air vent needed to be moved to accommodate the sliding door they put in. Derrick was our electrician and I believe Jimmy did the door. Our house is old and since they could not find a vent cover to fit, Jimmy custom made one! Awesome job, Jimmy. Derrick hooked us up with a dimmer switch for our ceiling fan/light and we love it. Frank did the actual design and building of the deck. We cannot stress enough how awesome his work is. The finished project is far nicer than we ever imagined. Not only did they do great work, but they cleaned up everything when they were done. There was nothing for us to dispose of. These guys rock. We would recommend this company any time. The work they did for us is superior and we are sure we will enjoy it for many years to come. Thank you all who worked on our project. Ferris Home Improvement is the BEST!

Ferris did a great job with a new roof installation. They were professional from start to finish. The salesman, Matt Janes, did an excellent job explaining the options and provided numerous local addresses so I could see shingle choices on existing homes instead of being limited to the small sample boards--important because I was trying to get the color right. Probably drove him crazy but he was great with providing information so I could compare actual roofs. Matt was easy to reach and very pleasant to work with. Once the job got underway the workers were on time, very courteous and left the job site clean each evening. The tear down was done quickly and the overall job was well-run; it took slightly over two days but they replaced some sheathing after the tear-off. After the job was initially completed I realized that I had a small cosmetic issue (flashing color on one portion of the roof) and they came back and took care of that with no problem. I am very pleased with the final result and may have them back for shutters. I don't hesitate to recommend Ferris Home Improvement.

Our designer Joel Hill was so helpful, friendly and professional, he designed a kitchen we could have never imagined, it's beautiful. Ferris Home Improvements completed my kitchen renovation which included a complete gut, and removal of load bearing walls. The kitchen was redesigned to be more functional and open. Mike Zaisse was our sales guy and did a great job in answering my many questions and including all the small details that made our space great. Francis and Frank did most of the work and offered many suggestions for the finishing details to coordinate. They even were able to fit in my last minute request for beautiful crown molding to be added. I would highly recommend Ferris for home renovation work. We will be calling them back to do more trim work and bathroom renovations.

Starting with Michael, our Sales Consultant, all the way through with the Project Manager Mike and the excellent crew that installed the roof, it was a very good experience. Michael was readily available and helpful anytime we had a question or concern. Every member of the roofing crew was very hard-working and efficient. They were here early in the morning and finished by nightfall...one day! And that included clean-up which I might add was meticulous. The Project Manager Mike was here the next morning to inspect the work and the Sales Consultant Michael was here the following morning to ensure that we were satisfied. All financial matters were clear from the very beginning and we had no surprises. We're very pleased with our new roof, so much so that Ferris is back here today installing new siding on our addition!! We highly recommend Ferris to anyone contemplating a home improvement project. The original roof on our 1989-built home was well overdue for a replacement. My husband scheduled appointments with 3 local roofing companies to obtain estimates. It just so happened that the first appointment was with Ferris. The salesman (I believe his name was Matt) arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. There was no high-pressure sales pitch. He explained all our options clearly and worked out a very reasonable price for replacing our roof, as well as three skylights. Normally, I would spend hours online checking company reviews and we would never commit to the first company's estimate before also obtaining estimates from others. In this case, however, my husband and I both felt completely comfortable signing a contract and giving a deposit the very same night of our estimate meeting with Ferris. We then promptly cancelled the appointments we had with the two other roofing companies. We have zero regrets. The work crew showed up on time, were careful to protect our windows, siding and yard from any damage during the removal of the old roof and did an excellent clean-up job after the work was completed. Our new roof is absolutely gorgeous. A few days after the roof was installed, a craftsman (I believe his name was Scott) arrived to complete the inside trim detail on our three skylights. He was very friendly and patient with me as I continued to find small smudges on the painted areas around the skylights that needed to be cleaned. At one point, he had already packed his extension ladder away in his truck and was ready to leave, when I noticed yet one more mark. He happily unpacked the ladder and set it up again inside the house and dealt with that last annoying smudge. The ladies who work in the office at Ferris are also very friendly and responsive. I had a few questions before, during and after the work was complete on our home and Terrie was always very quick to respond to all my concerns. All-in-all, our experience with Ferris Home Improvements was an excellent one and I would gladly hire them again and recomment them without any hesitation.

Ferris Home Improvement was the best company we ever decided to go with. Their work was very professional. Our salesperson , Bill was a great help in helping us pick the right style of cabinets and the sizes that fit into the spaces we had. Bill was always on hand for us to ask any questions and to get things done. The cabinets, flooring, lighting and tile go together perfect. The installers, Glen and Brett were excellent. From start to finish the were there on time and cleaned up everyday. They even put up with all the questions we had, to which they answered everyone of them. In the midst of getting the kitchen done we decided to have our living room and family room floors done also. Bill went right to getting them ordered and setting up the install date. Everything was done and it looks great.

I decided to renovate my bathroom last month and I had to get it done within a month due to family visiting. Out of the 3 contractors I met with, Mike Zaiss from Ferris Home Improvements was the most professional, thorough and fair. They did an amazing job and my bathroom looked much better than what I had envisioned. Each and every one of the guys that came out did an excellent job! Glen, Paul, Dave and another plumber whose name escapes me at the moment were very professional and kept me updated at the end of everyday with the progress and what they will be working on the next day.They also kept their work areas clean and brought their own drop cloth to keep the carpet they would walk on clean. I would definitely be calling them again for my next home project.

Our request for an estimate was responded to promptly and our salesperson Matt was great to work with all of the way thru the entire process. We got a new roof and sliding glass door from Ferris. Their service is excellent. They came when they said they would, they did what they said they would, and they left my home in very clean condition. Both crews were professionals and a pleasure to work with. They used tarps to protect our back porch. The glue must have dried out because when they pulled the tarps up, two of the railings came unglued. There was also a minor adjustment that was needed on a very small portion of the roof. They came right out and addressed both issues. We couldn't be happier with their service. I did a lot of research on roofs and roofing companies. Plus we have a lot personal experience on major home renovations from our former home. They offer the most highly rated products, with the highest level of warranties at almost the same price as others with limited warranties and lower quality products. The price delta between Ferris and 2 other companies was literally between $100-$200 for a new roof. This is nothing compared to all of the major considerations. In addition, I Ferris' selection of roof color options far exceeds their competitors. You want your work done right the first time, with the best options for the best value with the highest warranty. I recommend Ferris.

Great experience! I was referred to ferris home improvement by a friend, and they did not dissapoint. Matt Janes from ferris came to my house to help me plan my new deck going off of a rough sketch I had done up and a picture off of pintrest. From that he was able to help me customize and design exactly what I was wanting. From there, with the rest of his team, he walked me through every step of the process from permits, HOA approvals, and inspections. The actual construction went very quickly with them staying on the timeline they had originally given me. The construction of the deck is top notch and several of my neighbors now want the exact deck/screened in porch combo I have now. Everyone was professional and kept me in the loop the entire time. I have nothing but great things to say!

We interviewed seven contractors/companies because this was to be custom work and we wanted to ensure we found someone we were comfortable with. We settled on Ferris to do a complete remodel of our master bathroom. It was expanded to utilize existing closet space. So, we had them create a walk-in closet in an unfinished space over our garage. Mike Ferris was excellent to both incorporate our ideas and make suggestions that resulted in a beautiful and very functional bathroom and adjoining closet. This custom design involve some unusual elements and design details. This was not a problem for Ferris. Their skilled craftsman, especially Glenn Powell on the cabinets & woodwork and Walter on the tile work, were the very best.

I can highly recommend Ferris Home Improvement. They updated our guest bathroom which involved installing a new counter top, fixtures, sinks and all the associated plumbing as well as a new ceramic floor. Our sales person, Bill E., never pressured us and made excellent suggestions for all the new items. He clearly explained the entire process/project to us. The entire process from when we began discussion with FHI to the job completion was very professional. We were very impressed with the quality of the work performed by the FHI crew. Their attention to detail made this project go smoothly from start to finish. After installation of the countertop and fixtures, there was an issue with the distance between the faucet and the backsplash that we were concerned with. We discussed this with Bill and he ensured it was corrected and there never any resistance on his part to make the change, even though it meant getting a change in the counter top. We are extremely pleased and satisfied with our new guest bathroom!

I had two windows break while cleaning them! I panicked and attempted to fix myself to no avail. I googled "emergency window repair," and none of the other companies that I called could actually come quickly! A couple said that it would be days before they could send a technician. I called Ferris, and immediately they were helpful, kind and put my worries at ease. The service technician, Monty Justin, came within an hour and fixed my windows right away! He even helped show me how to open them properly when cleaning, so that I did not break them again. I cannot thank Ferris Improvements and Monty enough.

The entire removal and installation took less than three hours and the quality is perfection. I found Ferris Home Improvement by seeing one of their trucks next to me at light. I had them come out to price a new roof. I had three other known companies come out but Ferris is the only one that actually got up on the roof to check things out. Ferris was not the lowest price but Spencer the sales person gave me a comprehensive estimate that included the things that he found and showed me pictures so I knew that it was true. Valero and his crew did the work in done in one day and they did an excellent job on the roof and on the cleanup. I also had new gutters installed. They even installed the extensions with a hinge so I can put them up when I mow. Miles fixed the issue with the chimney that Spencer had found. I then decided to have some windows replaced. Jimmy and Tommy came out and installed the new windows. They found some damage on one of the windows that a previous company had caused when they were installed and fixed the issue. The windows looks great . The company and especially the employees are excellent at what they do and I am considering additional work to be done. I would recommend this company.

We talked about remodeling our old kitchen for a few years, but never made much progress as the design and planning process were daunting. We needed a new kitchen -- plus some construction changes (open wall) to provide more room. Luckily, Ferris opened a new showroom, and this allowed my wife to see everything (cabinets, sinks, tile, counter-tops, flooring) -- and design her dream kitchen. Sunny, the Ferris designer, worked with my wife on all details and was wonderful coming up with design suggestions -- and following up on all details. The work progressed smoothly over five weeks - all the sub-contractors (electrical, plumbing, tile) were great - quick and professional. Glen, the Ferris carpenter, did all the demolition, new construction, and installation work -- and was on-site for most of the project. He did a wonderful job and made sure all details and requests were completed - just a great professional. Kitchen remodeling is probably a scary project for all homeowners - we couldn't be more pleased with our kitchen remodeling project completed by Ferris -- highly recommended.

A Ferris Home Improvements team remodeled both our hall bath and our master bath and we could not be happier! A year later and I still love them both. Mike Zaiss was our sales person and he worked to help me get the vision in my head to be the master bath in my home. I had a LOT of ideas after having spent the better part of the prior year researching different parts of the bathroom (the open shower, the vanity with more storage, to have a tub or not, etc.). Mike asked me questions to really figure out what it was I wanted. When it came time to do the work, Phil was our builder. He was prompt every day, the work was done to schedule, and my home was kept neat and clean. If there was anything not done to our liking, Phil and Dan were there to make sure it was. Mike checked in throughout the project, and even came to address a question I had once the project had been done. I could not have asked for a better experience in this remodel! Thank you all!

Scott came to my house for a minor siding repair in which some of siding cap was busted. He put a new piece on. Of course the color did not match at all and instead of repainting the small piece to match which would have cost me a lot more. He advised me to take a small piece to get paint to match. I was in desperate need of a fence for my dog because it was the dead of winter and I was tired of leashing her up every single time to go outside to use the bathroom. I called 8 different companies to get an estimate for a vinyl post and rail fence with wire, I was told by one company that he would call when he was down in that area again! Ferris was the only company who gave me a quote and my fence was installed shortly after! Greg was awesome in communicating with me the time frame and he and Bob worked in the cold weather/frozen ground to get it installed. My neighbor even signed a contract when my fence was being installed, for the same reason, her dog! The service was awesome as well as the quality of the fence. I have had a few little things come up and they were down there fixing them that same day! I would highly recommend Ferris for any fencing projects!!

We chose Ferris b/c we could supply all the fixtures, tile, and construction material on our own. We could control cost and pick exactly what we wanted. We were not pressured to use a specific supplier or product. We had complete control and this is exactly what we wanted. Not only that but Ferris advertised that they work to do it right and that is definitely true! Wayne and Brandon were amazing!!! These two guys did the entire job from start to finish. We had constant contact with Wayne and he was always responsive about changes we wanted to make last minute and extra work. We cannot say enough about how professional and amazing Wayne was with overseeing and performing all the work throughout the project. The entire renovation took 6 weeks from start to finish. Both bathrooms were gutted in 2 weeks and the rest was put back together in just 4 weeks! The quality of work was exceptional. We were beyond impressed with the attention to detail. My wife and I recently had our deck replaced by Ferris and were very please by their workmanship and professionalism. They removed the original 40+ year old open deck and replaced it with a new deck that is one half screened in room and one half open deck. When the sales rep Matt Janes came out he took his time listening to our desires and made a couple of very good suggestions. After he left we came up with additional questions that we sent by e-mail to him and Matt responded promptly. Several additional e-mail communications with Matt were handled by him in exactly the same way. We were not in a hurry to have the new deck built and neither Matt or anyone else at Ferris were ever pushy for us to make any decisions. Once we decided on a basic plan their head deck builder and designer Frank came out, took final measurements made a couple of additional good suggestions and created a final design using a CAD program. The new deck is free standing and unlike the original deck does not require our home for support even though it connects to it. After our approval of the plans we were put on their schedule for building. Several different employees were involved in removing the old and building our new deck but the two primary builders were Mike and his assistant Steven. They were hard working and diligent, arriving every day by 7:30 AM and not leaving until around 3 PM. If they took a break we never saw it. After all work was completed and my wife and I had time to review the new deck in detail we found a few small corrections that we wanted made. These were given to the project manager Greg Lille and he was very agreeable with our wishes. In a matter of a few days he had Larry out to take care of two items and subsequently had Frank and Jason out to take care of the remaining items. A few days after the corrections were made Matt came out to take pictures and make sure everything was to our liking. We are very happy with Ferris and would happily use their services again. Ferris is an excellent company.

What a great company. The from the sales associate, Mike, the Job supervisor Ryan, Whitley the construction coordinator to the roofers that worked through blazing heat. Mike recommended improvements to improve the air flow through attic and even patched a leak before the the new roof job was started. We had a leak from our roof into an exterior window that was incorporated into an interior sunroom (by the previous owners). A friend gave me the FERRIS name from a family job that had recently been completed. I do not recall our technician's name but he was polite, introduced himself and listened to our problem. He checked our roof, went into the attic, checked the roof 2 more times before he "discovered" our problem: rusted roofing nails. He was able to give us an assessment of our entire roof. He gave us a price for his assessment and our repair: extremely fair and immediate satisfaction! As homeowners, we are pretty savvy on the inside and outside of our home, with the exception of our roof! We could have been taken to the cleaners! We had Ferris replace our roof last month and we couldn’t be happier. It was our first time using them. We had done the research, Ferris was the best of the three companies we contacted for proposals. Our home had suffered some snow and ice damage on the roof and the skylight the previous winter. We realized it was more than just a repair and we needed a new roof. We spoke to Kelly at the office and she had Matt come out and do the initial inspection and give us our quote. Not only was it the lowest quote we received but it was less than what we budgeted for, so we were really pleased. They were patient with us while making our choices and Matt even brought out samples to the house to make me feel more comfortable with our decisions. With the savings, we were able to upgrade our skylight and add remote operated blinds (my favorite detail), as well as replace all of our gutters and downspouts. Ferris showed up on time on the day that we were scheduled and Michael handled the job with seven men. They completed our new roof in one day and I swear they cleaned up our yard better than the landscapers! Due to the weather, Pablo returned a few days later to complete the gutters and downspouts. That was completed in a half day. With the weird weather last month, they let us get a couple of snow storms under our belt before having Matt do the final walkthrough and collecting their final payment, just so they knew we were satisfied. I was very happy with the final look of our architectural shingles and it was so great not worry about roof leaks anymore, no matter how hard it snowed. We highly recommend them and would use them again.

I was in the market for a new roof, so naturally I googled the most trusted and well known roofing contractors for my area. I set up 3 appointments with 3 different companies, the last being Ferris. We have had work done previously by Ferris, and honestly, after our first experience I was so impressed I would have been comfortable having them do this job without engaging other companies. I met with three contractors do redo my kitchen. The kitchen dated from 1970, and the house is 200 years old. I quickly eliminated the two other contractors and chose Ferris as when Dave came in and said he wanted me to meet Francis I knew that they really cared about the customer and that the work would be of the highest quality. I was not disappointed. When Francis and his team came in they displayed efficiency and respect for both myself and my home. The demo stage was neat and clean, the cabinets, appliances and counter tops arrived on time and were installed perfectly. The attention to detail was superb and the result was spectacular. After seeing a bathroom remodel by Ferris, my husband and I met with Joel Hill (designer) regarding our kitchen remodel. Joel listened to our likes, dislikes, frustrations with the old kitchen and what we hoped to achieve with a new kitchen. Joel's design surpassed our expectations. We did the kitchen demo. This exposed what our original builder considered quality. We crossed our fingers that Ferris would do a better job. From start to finish we were more than happy with Ferris. Not only were the workers skilled and true professionals, my house didn't suffer from construction dust and debris remaining at the end of each day. Nor did we have to live through blaring music or unnecessary foul language. True professionals. Our installer for the project (Russell) was top notch. At the end of the project we actually missed seeing him. Throughout the entire project we only experienced one conflict with a subcontractor. The situation was promptly and satisfactorily dealt with by the owner of the subcontracting firm. To us this says a lot about Ferris and the companies they work with. You hate to complain but if you do, it's corrected. It's been a couple months since our kitchen was completed and we are thrilled with every inch of it. The kitchen is perfect! 5 stars isn't enough!

Ferris is a great company to deal with. Prices are more than fair, and the sales, customer service and the technicians are great. Ask for Mike and Jim they know what they are doing. Jim found some other problems while replacing the window. He showed me the issues which were nasty, had the fix and materials and when Mike came by for the price adjustment which was very fair. They offer a 10% discount, please ask but if you forget they will do it anyway. I highly recommend this company. They are awesome!

I wanted to add more natural light to my living room by adding more windows to one wall. The exterior is stucco and this would typically require having a second contractor who specializes in this. Ferris just finished a complete overhaul of our kitchen. It was a great experience. Joel, our guide for the process, was wonderful working with us every step of the way. Finding answers to what we wanted when we didn't even know. And always looking out for our choices so that the final product was beautiful. All the people working for /with Ferris are well trained, knowledgeable and polite. The spoke with me very day and sought my comments. The place was left very clean every evening. I was amazed by how clean they left my house. At the end there was a short punch list of to do items. (I was an engineer for 40 years and know all big projects have punch lists at the end) Those who had to do items on the list made appointments and showed up on tome with a smile even if it only required a few minutes of work. Joel worked with us on appliances and flooring when we found stuff not carried by their normal suppliers. And allowed for changes if we had a change of mind along the way.

I contacted Ferris Home Improvements for estimates on both roofing and siding repairs. Initially I spoke with Corey to set up appointments for estimates. She is personable, professional, kind and caring and excels at her job! She explained the step-by-step process, answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel rushed. The next contact I had was with Larry Powell who came out to give an estimate on the siding repair. He too went above and beyond and surveyed the perimeter of the home to be sure that nothing else needed to be repaired. He found things that other contractors never mentioned, and when I saw the other areas, I couldn't believe that no one else bothered to do what Larry had done... an accurate assessment. Mike Lashbrook came out to give an estimate on the roof. He is such a great example of the kind of service that Ferris provides, that I am nothing short of amazed that one company can have so many wonderful employees. I have worked with the public for many years and I'm a tough critic when it comes to customer service. Ferris has it all covered! While I haven't had the repairs completed yet, I wanted to provide a review based on my experience so far in the hopes that it will help others to make their decision when it comes to choosing a home improvement company. Last year, we suddenly found ourselves in need of a kitchen remodel. A water leak had left our kitchen severely damaged. We needed new floors and base cabinets and decided to update the entire old kitchen. We started researching various kitchen remodelers and engaged with several before choosing Ferris. Ferris Home Improvements exceeded our expectations in design and installation. We initially worked with Ferris designer, Joel Hill. He is an NKBA Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer. He listened to our needs and designed a beautiful layout that was enhanced by his meticulous attention to detail. Joel helped us pick out finishes and advise us of products. We felt no pressure to buy something that was more expensive — instead, he gave us choices and guided us in making decisions. Once the design process was over, we worked with the installer – Glen Powell and his helper Brett who were phenomenal. At the beginning of the project, we received a schedule. They started on the start date and ended as scheduled. I’ve never been in a situation where a complex building project ran so smoothly. Glen is an expert installer and worked to coordinate all the craftsman. We highly recommend tile installer, Ed Hennessey. The details and carpentry in the kitchen are exquisite. After the kitchen was finished, Glen worked with us on a small punch list. We were impressed with how professionally the entire team handled the final details. The whole project was efficient and professional. Special thanks to Dan Heath, supervisor and Coordinator, Cory O’Neil. Two months after we completed our kitchen, we called Ferris to ask if they would start a new project with us – a basement remodel. We look forward to working with them again and highly recommend their services and their products.

I needed a new roof. I dealt with 2 contractors already. One was a very high quote and the other wanted me to sign things before I even got a quote. I was not happy. A friend told me about Ferris and I have them a shot. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!! Spencer Malcolm was fantastic! He went above and beyond. I filed a claim with my insurance company and Spencer met with the adjuster to help facilitate the claim. Within 2 weeks I had a new roof. No back and forth. No BS. Spencer and Ferris won’t let you down!

First, I want to say that Spencer was very easy to work with and very forgiving about my schedule. He was very helpful with my selection for my siding and trim, steering me in the right direction. I had rotten wood that needed to be replaced outside and in and they took care of that for a nominal fee. A water leak from outside damaged a bedroom window and Austin the Awesome took care of that and the damage below in my dining room. He was very professional and the spackling was spectacular! Last but not least, the crew that installed the siding were the best bunch of guys. They told me what happening every step, showed me all the rotten wood they were replacing and just did a wonderful job. The new trim looks fantastic and really makes the house look brand new and pops against the color of the siding. I hope to get to work with them again, they were really terrific and they liked my coffee. Thanks also to the women in the office, keeping me informed of the schedule. There is always room for improvement and won't put that in this review because my overall satisfaction is very high. Also, you saved my husband's life by replacing the bedroom window, otherwise he would have surely met with the ground trying to wrangle it out of the opening on the second story. He came to my house several times and answered all my questions and provided all information that I needed before I signed the contract. He was in contact with my Project Manager Tony through the entire renovation. I only have one bathroom so I had to move out of my house. Tony was fantastic. He worked extra hard to get me back in my house quickly. He was pleasant to work with, always answered all my questions and provided great advice. The plumber and electrician that were on the job did excellent work. I would hire Ferris again for other home projects and would definitely request Tony for the job.

I will preface this review with, I did not get any work done by Ferris. My review is based solely upon the interaction with Ferris and the customer service received. On a Monday following a Friday storm that ripped several shingles from our roof, a Ferris service man came to our home for assessment and to provide an estimate. We were informed of the damages and given an estimate for repair, $1,200. We were told that repairs were being scheduled two weeks out, that a tarp would be placed for interim protection, and that a representative from the office would contact us to schedule. We agreed to the terms. The serviceman went back onto our roof to place the tarp; however, he then reported to us that the tarp that he brought was too small. He told us that someone would contact us ASAP. We waited several days without follow up, no one returned to apply the larger tarp, and then sadly, this is where things really went South in terms of service. Thursday: My husband called Ferris @1pm. No answer. Left a message: When will someone be out to cover the exposed roof? & When will someone call us to schedule? My husband received a call back at 4pm inquiring about his message. He was then told that the person he needs to speak with has already left for the day. We were advised he would call us tomorrow. Friday: No return call all morning. I called at 2pm. I spoke with Wally. I advised Wally that our roof was still exposed, inquired about covering it, and discussed that we had not yet been contacted Re: Scheduling the repair. Wally's response to me was that he was unaware of the need for the damaged portion of our roof to be covered. When I informed him that my husband had called yesterday, he stated "He called after hours" (which, as noted above, was untrue) and "You were on my list to call today, but you just beat me too it" (at 2pm...). "Weren't you told we were scheduling two weeks out?" Yes, I had been; however, that was 5 days ago. I told Wally that I was fine with waiting the additional time if someone would please come out and cover the roof as previously attempted on Monday. Wally advised me that my call was "kind of last minute", and told me that he would contact "someone in the area" and call me back. When Wally did return my call, I was told that a service man could not come today, but someone would come tomorrow to place the tarp; however, I would be charged an additional $300. When I asked why we would incur additional fees, I was told that it was for the service man's time to come back out. I was informed that even though they were unable to complete the visit on Monday, it would be my financial responsibility to cover someone returning to my home to complete the services not rendered previously. And now, I was being charged extra for a tarp... Again, I can't speak to quality of work or craftsmanship; however, I can tell you that the customer service I received was quite poor. I'm frustrated at the statements made, the interactions, the lack of communication, and the request for additional money. One of these things would be poor; All of these things together, is absolutely unacceptable. Fortunately, we found another company that repaired our roof timely and for several hundred dollars less.

The final product is gorgeous and fully functional. It can be a wild ride to get there, but Ferris never lets any of their problems become your problems, and they stayed on schedule despite unforeseen challenges. Mike Z. created an awesome design, and communicated directly with our insurance adjuster, convincing them to upwardly revise their estimates. Dan and Francis are perfectionists, re-doing things to eliminate flaws I would never have seen if they didn't point them out. The plumbers and tilers were fast, efficient, and flawless, and the painters were amazing - I will hire those guys whenever I have any drywall work in the future. A job this size will always have its share of snafus, but Ferris made it right every time, and the end product is great.

After leaving a bad review for a bathroom project that took months longer than expected, Jeff the General Manager reached out to me about trying to fix the problems we were having. Jeff was helpful and did his best to try and make the situation right. He brought his guy out to fix a lot of the problems that the previous crew couldn't. The most disappointing thing about the whole process was the customer service I received from Mike and Dan during the project untill I left a bad review. On collection of the final payment the salesman Mike told us that there was nobody else I could talk to about the problems I was having. Obviously that wasn't true because once I left a poor review Jeff came right out and helped us out. Overall this project was a major headache but it was appreciated that Jeff came out and got the bathroom looking right.

My wife and I selected Ferris because of all of the rave reviews. They were more expensive than both of the other roof quotes that we got, but we decided the extra cost was worth it. The roof looks fantastic, and the quality of the work is quite high. However, they dropped roofing material onto our brand new HVAC unit. This damaged the unit, and we had to have it serviced. Additionally, their clean up was poorly done. Our dog stepped on a nail. We ended up filling a 5 gallon bucket 4-5 inches deep with bits of roofing material and nails that they didn't pick up. I also had to scrub down our trex deck because of debris left behind. Our attic is also a mess. We were not told to expect debris in that area. Finally, they inspected the roof before the project, but did not notice the second roof underneath. The cost of the project went up due to the removal of a second roof that professional roofers did not notice was there. For all of these inconveniences they deducted 3.7% from the bill. We have a bathroom remodel planned for next year, and we will not be using Ferris again.

I called Ferris and they sent Larry out to look at the damage, he quoted me a price and made the repair without having to make another appointment. What a great company as they truly care about the customer. We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Ferris and from the minute we walked into the showroom, we had nothing but a great experience. Joel was our rep who was awesome. He was very pleasant and understanding of what we were looking for. He was available anytime throughout the project and followed up in a timely manner. Chuck, who was the installer, was great. Chuck and his crew were awesome with the work they did. Our project last about 5 weeks and Chuck was either here everyday or provided updates as to what was happening, and made sure that the work was on schedule. Cory was also another member of team who went above and beyond our expectations. She made sure any issues or concerns we had were handled and followed up to make sure they were completed to our satisfaction. Everyone was we had contact with were friendly and pleasant and you could tell they truly cared about their customers. We will surely use them again when going to remodel.

After the heavy rain this April, our living room ceiling started to bubble then leak. We called Ferris and were told they could have someone out to us on the Friday. That Friday heavy thunderstorms were expected in the evening. Rob from Ferris came out and reviewed the problem. He was very kind, courteous and took his time checking everything out. Rob explained the problem, then said that the particular repair could be done two weeks from now. He saw how we were concerned about further damage due to the impending storms this evening. Wonderful experience! We contracted with Ferris to replace our old deck with a new Gorilla deck and add a 3-season room. We have nothing but praise for the entire project. From start to finish, everyone was very professional, efficient, and pleasant. Spencer provided us with a comprehensive on-the-spot estimate (no other contractor was able to do that), which was the actual price for the final project even with some adjustments needed during construction. He really listened to our plans and worked with our architect to ensure that our vision was translated into a final product. Mike Lowe, the PM, kept us informed, and was able to provide us with improved skylights at no additional cost. Frank, Anthony, and Mike were absolutely tireless perfectionists as our installers who worked even while it was snowing. We were amazed at how quickly they worked, one well-oiled machine, and how quality-conscious they were. This crew did the bulk of the work, and I can't praise them enough. They worked through weather that caused everyone else to hibernate, which was amazing. Jim and Drew replaced a window with an energy-efficient door leading into the room in just a few hours with minimal disruption. Derrick and Drew, who installed the ceiling fan, outdoor lights, and wired the room sockets, were very professional and so pleasant. The front office staff, Chrissy and Kelly, were very efficient in answering and returning our calls and answering questions. We absolutely love the new deck and 3-season room, and absolutely love Ferris! Home improvement projects can be daunting and disruptive, but Ferris made this project (3 separate projects, actually) painless. We highly recommend this company to everyone!

Ferris did a new roof on my home and shed, they also re-surface the top of my chimney. From the time I met with Matt and sign the contract I felt at ease. The office called me with in 2 hours and said they received my check and contract. I was told the work would begin the week of September 23 with my chimney re-surfacing, I could expect the week of September 28 my roofwould be done. I was told to expect a call the following week to get exact dates and that is exactly how the process evolved . The following week I received a call with the exact dates, the workers were here on time, cleaned up, no mess was left. They do what they say and I would use the again, without hesitation!!!!!!
