After 3 years of getting over-charged by this company to try to solve the same problem that came up each spring, I finally reached out to a solo operator who solved the problem in one day. I wasted $5K+ with Ductworks by replacing equipment that didn't need to be replaced not including labor fees. (They had come recommended by the seller when we bought this home, which is why I let the try to solve the problem each of those first 3 years.)

We recently switched to Ductworks from Solvit. The experience is not comparable. Had a repair of the AC in the summer, with great satisfaction. Today was our first tuning up appoinment which went great. Mike was very thorough in inspecting both our AC unit as well as the boiler. He checked elements that Solvit never did before. He even power washed the coils of the AC compressor unit, checked patency of drainage ducts, and looked into each element of the boiler in great detail. Of note, during the inspection he accidentally damaged the aquastat of the boiler; he was absolutely transparent about this accidental occurence, and had the entire aquastat replaced with a brand new unit at no cost. I would recommend Ductworks to anyone who’s looking for a reliable and timely service anticipating great satisfaction.

Avoid this company for any service. I called in ductworks ok on 8/30/18 as my AC was not working. The service technician came checked my Central unit by opening the front panel of Lennox furnace and turned on and said my blower motor failed and needs to be replaced and quoted $900+ and charged $80 service fee without proper diagnosis. Later I started googling like anyone else and I read lot of posts saying it could be a bad capacitor, so called the guy again next day and asked if it was capacitor problem. He told mine doesn't have a capacitor (he did not even open my unit where blower motor is! ), but later i found capacitor was bad and replaced which was less than $10 and my AC was back to life. Very poor diagnosis. Don't waste your money on service call Update 9/20/18: I see Owner's response and that do not explain why the technician failed to tell me what exactly failed and give me the option to replace blower motor or capacitor? Because the technician even did not open the unit to see what the problem was and he even did not know that it was capacitor! Just because unit is old doesn't mean you have to advise to replace the entire unit. I am not convinced with your reply.

The technician was only at my house for 20 minutes for routine maintenance and charged me $150+. Two months later, my central air stopped working on a 90+ degree day. Since I had a contractor already at the house, he had his AC contractor come out and fix it. Turns out the pipe that drains to the gutter was clogged, the condensation backed up, and the safety switch turned off the air. The AC contractor told me that Ductworks should have caught the issue during their inspection. He also said that a thorough check is closer to 1.5 hours, not anywhere near 20 minutes. I called Ductworks to explain the situation and asked for a refund of the $150. The Office Manager told me she would talk to the owner and would call me back, but she failed to do so even weeks later. When I finally did call back, she spent at least 5 minutes arguing with me like I was a child. She was completely unprofessional and lacked any sense of customer service. Ironically, their hold message says "100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back". Clearly they don't stand behind their word.

We stumbled upon Ductworks in a round about way and I could not be happier!! We've been having issues with our heating/AC in our new house and the regulation of the temperature since moving in. After reaching out to various companies, including an energy audit company, who ultimately recommended we call Ductworks, we were able to confirm that it was not an insulation issue (older house) and that we could benefit from 2 zones in our home. I did my homework and called around to a few places, but we had some experience with Ductworks already having them come out and assess the situation for us. Not only was the pricing extremely competitive (which was a factor in our ability to hire them), but their staff is all very professional, CLEAN (which is huge! We have kids, and I was impressed they had dust booties on and all vacuumed up after themselves), and honest. When we first had them come out there was a conversation around if it made sense financially, the man who came to our house suggested we have a third party come out to test for asbestos (which fortunately we do not have) and he said that it wouldn't be cost effective if we did have it, I appreciated this honesty. The 2 men that came to complete the job were kind, professional, clean and thorough. We had an unexpected issue come up just after they left, and they came back immediately and remedied it. The promptness was a huge win in my book! I highly recommend this company, we've had others in the past for different houses and I wish I'd known about Ductworks sooner!!

Do NOT Use! These people damaged my old AC unit un July 2015 and would not stand behind their work. The result was i had to buy a new system costing me thousands. If you want high rates and incompetent technicians then this is the place to go. Charged me $100 to replace 2 small wires which subsequently shorted and blew the condensor. Poor service

Ductworks repaired my Navien intant hot water heater. So far so good! The date of service they were almost an hour late...The main technician had a young man with him who did all the work. I found the main technician less then receptive to my feed back about other reasons why the water heater was not working correctly. This information came directly from another company and a Navien representative. We did agree that there was a venting problem. I thought the price was a bit high, but I was in a bad spot because there are not too many companies out there to fix this type of water heater. They told me to plan on him being here all day for labor..but he was out in half the time. It's still working....so a guess it was worth it!

Had a furnace and AC unit installed. We had problems with our old furnace and Eric promptly set us up with an appointment for installation. Angelo and Joe were courteous, installed both units and answered all of our questions. Eric set up our "smart" thermostat and connected us to the Carrier app. We thought the price of the installation was fair, and would not hesitate to highly recommend them.

Excellent service all the way around. Scheduling the appointment may have been the easiest part for Ductworks because when the technician (Mike) showed up, I had him crawling through the attic to deal with one part of the A/C and then through a neighbors narrow window to get on the roof of our building. Mike did a great job servicing my A/C and explained everything he did. If you get Mike to work on your A/C you'll be in good hands! Job well done!!!

We have been very satisfied clients of Ductworks for years. They have provided expert maintenance, worked with us through a complete home renovation, and recently and entire new system. Most recently, we notified Ductworks that we seemed to have a “leak” in the system that was setting off our CO2 detector intermittently. Their technician was at our home within hours. They diagnosed the problem and determined that we had a crack in the furnace and it needed to be replaced. Within hours, we had 3 quotes based on different equipment, capabilities, prices, etc. All of the options were fully explained. Once selecting our preference the Ductworks crew dismantled and removed the old furnace and heating system and replaced it with a very modern and efficient system with several added features that we wanted. Everything was completed, explained and working within 3 days of our initial phone call. And this new system required additional work other than just a furnace replacement. As always the office staff was exceptionally helpful, caring and friendly. The onsite technicians were knowledgeable, professional, accommodating and friendly. When they left there was no mess and everything was working perfectly. This is a staff that understands and appreciates customer loyalty and how to provide great customer service. I highly recommend this local owned and community dedicated company.

My positive experience with Ductworks started the moment I met Kurt, who is one of the owners. He was on time for the our appointment and he gave me 100% of his attention as we walked through my new home to discuss a new air conditioning system. Kurt explained exactly what I needed and sent me a very fair quote in the time-frame promised. He told me that Lynn would be my contact for getting a subsidized loan and rebates. My experience with Lynn was beyond expectations, as she continually communicated with me via email and phone along the entire process. This made the onerous task of applying for a loan, easy, understandable and fast. On the day of installation, upon meeting the crew that was to install the system, I knew I had picked the right company. These men were professional and friendly. They put drop cloths on my wood floors and carried out their business without goofing off or taking breaks. They literally worked from 7:30am till 4:30 pm to finish the job. They then cleaned up after themselves and left my home as it was except for a great new Carrier air conditioning system with the new Cor thermostat. Great job. I am thankful I picked Ductworks. Very disappointed with the service and abusive prices. My heat pump needed a capacitor replacement and I was charge $295+tax only for the capacitor. The more expensive capacitor online was $80, and it is usual to find them for about $20 or $25. Besides that, I had to pay $129 for the visit only, total $450 for 15 minutes job. After the technician left my house, heater worked ok, but the system did not turn off when it reaches the set point. I called two days later and they wanted to charge me $84 for reconfiguring the thermostat. We did not approved the job, but the technician get it done without asking us. He said don't worry, I will do it anyway, without any charge. Apparently after that, he undo whatever the did before because the problem persists. I dont trust this company. They abuse because people don't know those technical stuff.

They listened to my needs and made sure that I felt comfortable with all of my options. The installers were neat and clean with their work, were on time, and very professional. Ductworks installed a new furnace last winter. The service was excellent. Recently, one of the dampers in the duct system began to squeak when hot air was being blown from the furnace. I called Ductworks to tell them about it. They sent someone within two hours to look at the problem. Mike (the tech) solved the problem quickly and did not charge for the service call. He was pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend Ductworks to handle your heating and cooling needs.

I live in a condo where the central air no longer worked. My bills were high with radiant heat and it was difficult to control the temperature or cool rooms down. I saw a Ductworks truck outside one day and inquired about the new ductless split heat pump. The staff was excellent (from the owner who came to give the estimate, on down to the two workers that spent the day installing it.) Everyone was so professional, prompt and polite. I was thrilled to learn of the financing option which made it easily affordable. The difference in my place is drastic. Its cooler and drier and I only wish I did it sooner. Thank you for the excellent service.

Ductworks has maintained our heating/cooling system since 2003 when we moved into our condo. Everyone at Ductworks - from office staff, technicians and owners - are professional, courteous and efficient. I had an issue with our zone system and called the office one afternoon. One of the OWNERS was at my door at 7:30 the next morning to check it out. You just can't beat that. We recommend Ductworks every chance we get.
