We called for an inspection and Lee and another gentleman (sorry I cannot remember his name) showed up on time and were professional, quick and knowledgeable. They notice in one place ( a tile) had blown off and did a quick fix on that piece. Turns out our roof is good and they said so. I will definitely keep this company in mind if I ever need roof work.

I wasn't going to give 1star feedback with Total Roofing until today. Tony installed my roof two years ago. Prior to that the roof was 17 yrs old before total roofing replaced it. Few months back after Total Roofing install our roof, the laundry area was leaking and they have to come twice because they can't figure out where the leaked from. Yesterday, we had hail storm and our living room was leaking. I don't understand why, they just replaced it 2 yrs ago. Our neighbor replaced their roof with other company 5 yrs ago did not leak. I will never used or recommend total roofing to anyone. They did not meet my expectation.

They delayed my project by 5 weeks (which is ok, I'm patient). At the end of it, I asked for an itemized receipt - they refused to provide one. Not sure why they can't provide it - but I needed it for reimbursement purposes. They told me I'd need to go ask "Buffalo Roofing" for a receipt. Buffalo Roofing? Evidently, they're the ones who actually did my roof. Thanks for outsourcing the work guys. I paid for this deal cash out of my pocket because I didn't want to wait, and paid my invoice in full within two days of receiving it. I believe in treating people well...and that's the frustrating thing about dealing with these guys. They ask me to wait - wait - wait - and then, farm my job out, and when I ask them for an itemized receipt, they tell me to go fly a kite. I'm a repeat customer by the way, have spent over $20,000 with this company. Not happy with these clowns.

The reroofing job was completed in a single day. The crew was hardworking, professional and performed a thorough cleanup after the job was done. The gutter installation the following week was accomplished in a couple of hours and seemed to be OK, however the gutters are leaking at some of the joints. The item was pointed out and I was told that someone would be back to seal the leaking joints, but that has not happened.

From day one, meeting with Nate, he assured us of what was needed and an anticipated timeframe. He also helped us not only get our roof and gutters replaced, he informed us that Total Roofing is just that “Total” Due to the hail damage to the siding and paint, he got us set up with work to repair some soffit and trim boards as well as some paint. The roofing crew was outstanding and very polite and very efficient. I was amazed how early they arrived and how late they stayed. From tear down to cleanup, this job went so very well. Thanks to Nate and the crew. Total invoice my insurance and helped assure quick completion and settlement of our insurance claim. Again, thanks to all who worked on our home. A horrible experience. Shane was totally unreliable. Made promises and never followed through. Complained to the owners and nothing was corrected. They told us that because we had problems with total roofing, that they prefer not to do business with us. Totally disappointed, especially since Dave Ramsey endorses this company. In closing, Total Roofing Colorado Springs is just another Roofing Company who has bad service and is after your money. They lie about products available. They also lie about when they are able to do your roof. I would't recommend Total Roofing.

I used Total Roofing fir 2 roofs in 2018(damn hail). They were excellent everytime coming out to do the estimate, get the work done, and then come and check the repairs. They literally installed a new roof the day before we moved out of our old house. Fast forward to the bomb cyclone in 2019. Omg. I thought our house was gonna blow away. I called our project manager from the last time,Tony, and he put me on the schedule to come out and inspect it. Came out and gave my roof an A rating. I really like the company, and I really like the staff. Will continue to use these guys

I think I was the only one who used Total Roofing on my street. I don't know why that is. These guys got here st 7am and were done, cleaned up, and leaving by 3pm. The neighbors hired different companies. Some had tiles on the roof for over a month and they came back 2, sometimes 3 times to finish the job. The neighbors had to park down the street because they had no space in the driveway. I know I'll be using Total Roofing again. I'll even tell all my friends.

This company is horrible and I do not recommend anyone use them for anything at all. They have not finished the work on our home that was started around 6 months ago. They have charged us for work not completed and did extra work that we told them not to do. Every time we call, the receptionist says she will leave a message for a manager or owner to call us back but no one ever does. We worked with Adam and every time we try to get anything done or move forward with anything, it’s like we get blown off. They do not care about us or finishing the job, but continue to bill us for things not yet finished. My wife left a review over a month ago with hopes of getting something done about this situation and the owner responded that he saw the review and would be looking into it, however, we have not received any communication from anyone. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with.

Horrible experience including an unsafe decking repair that almost sent me through the roof. They hire random roofing crews and don't manage them. The first crew did such a poor job that Total Roofing had to have their "Complex Roof Crew" come fix it. They reworked 40% of the roof. Their Project Managers (Sales) are great until you sign then they disappear. Total bait and switch.

I’m finally writing this review in hopes of getting a resolution. We have been extremely patient with total roofing’s mistakes and errors and gave them a chance to correct each one. Our home was affected by the June hail storm. At first everything seemed to be going well. A new roof was installed in July. However things started to go south. A neighbor pointed out that the roofers never installed the flashing which was required for the roof to be up to code. We informed total roofing about it multiple times. It wasn’t until our insurance finally hired a resolution company to look into the matter that we started to see some action. In August we noticed that there was a leak on our ceiling. Apparently when the matter was looked into the roofers hadn’t sealed a pipe on the roof properly. We asked total roofing to fix the leak and damage since it was caused by poor roof installation. We were very understanding that the roofing company that installed the roof was subcontracted. However total roofing put their trust in them just as we put our trust in total roofing to get the job done. So here it is December. They sent their repairman out to fix the water stain that was left on the ceiling in our dining room. He was very nice but said he would not be able to match it. I let him do his work and waited until it dried expecting it to only be slightly visible. That’s not the case. He used an ultra white paint which is not even close to our ceiling color. I’m confused because the painters were able to match the stucco trim just fine and the stucco repairman matched that color just fine. If the ceiling is really impossible to match, then it should have to be repainted entirely. That would be the more obvious repair in my mind. The repair does not look good at all and the quality is frankly poor. The stain wasn’t there before we entrusted total roofing to do the repairs on our house and it shouldn’t be there when they finish or any sign of it. I would love to hear from Scott about how he is going to make this right. If he could also have Adam call the resolution agent back because we were told that his calls were going unreturned for a week! -Katherine Previch-Liu

Poor before and after the job communication (they hide behind an answering service), did sloppy work, left nails all over my driveway, and Tony offered an insulting $50 military rebate on a $9000 roof replacement (that's half of one percent btw) which they didn't even honor when they billed me. Disappointing transaction all around.

1 in 10 roofers worked out for me (yup, I tried to get 10 estimates over the course of 2 summers). Maybe you should read on... Being a single female homeowner of an over 100 year old house, hiring work out is as bad as going to the doctor or even worse; an auto repair shop. Maybe you can relate... Trying to get a reasonable price for work on your home can sacrifice quality and often causes damage to the home, without any concerns by the people performing work. Getting new roof was like pulling a tooth! Last year with 4 estiamtes I hired someone at a good price, three times he did not show up. Then everyone was booked until 2017 because of the hail storm. This summer I spent a month trying to get a local recommendation. Then moved on to get 4 estimates from companies in the Springs. I chose one, the estimator was great! However, when I talked with his boss I was not comfortable with him being the person ultimately responsible for the work. I moved on yet again and called Tony at Total Roofing. I was fairly desperate as snow was on its way to the mountains. Wow! Within a week we had many email and two in person discussions and a contract signed. The work started that next week! Tony did well on getting a price within my budget and he added any little thing I wanted that he said to the contract. It is so often people say one thing but are not people of their word these days... He was very patient with me, explained things extreemly well, and we signed. Afterwards, he even thought of a few other things my roof would need and those things were done as well! The crew came and worked 2 days. I was amazed how steady and hard they worked. They portrayed the best definition of team work I have ever seen. They also love their work and were good friends with each other. They consulted each other and rotated jobs to distribute the work well. They did not mind if I sat outside, watched and learned. They thought the breakfast and lunch served was great, even though I am not really a good cook anymore. They were a joy to have working at my home and a pleasure to get to know them a bit too. Thanks Rafael, Jose, and Oren! A few things needed fixing, Tony took care of everything with care and no complaints. There were no complaints whatsoever with what I wanted at any time. Gosh I have had more complaints from people mowing my yard than with this much bigger job. I highly suggest whatever your level of knowledge is about construction or roofing, give Total Roofing a try and ask for Tony. They are very service orientated and go the extra mile to insure customer satisfaction. No they are not perfect; no one is, but service like this I have not seen for 40 years. I do hope you discuss every little thing with Tony up front and I know he will provide you with the same curtsey. Tony, as well as his crew, without question knew their jobs. Much better to have everything discussed before the work beings. Not to mention he did not take offence that I wanted every little thing on the contract. He accepted and understood it was not because I did not trust him; it was because past experiences taught me I had been there and not done that. Way to go Total Roofing, your guys totally care! Hang onto these guys and thanks so much! Don't ever change! I thank you for your kindness, hard work and understanding... and the nice new roof! PS I wish they also offered auto repairs!

Very shady. Don’t trust Total Roofing. Never cleaned up all of their trash & debris. Continually tried to get more money out my insurance company. Tried to get over $18,000.00 for a basic roof replacement only worth about $9,000.00. When we finally put a stop to their attempts to gouge the insurance company, they told us they had a right to ALL the money the insurance company was willing to pay even if there were other damages besides the roof included in the insurance adjusters estimate. I will never use or recommend them again!

We will NEVER use another roofing company. Total Roofing replaced the roof on one of our rental homes quickly and at a good price. When we decided to sell another rental home, a hail storm occurred right when the home went under contract. Total Roofing came out, got us on the schedule and got the new roof on, the vents all repaired or replaced, and did the gutters and downspouts. We then had to have the electrical panel upgraded after the roof was done, and the electrician needed to move the service box which left a vent on the roof with a duct taped top where the old service was. I placed a call back to Total Roofing and told them about our mistake - fully expecting to have to pay for a roof repair - they made arrangements immediately to come back out and fix the duct taped vent in days (at no charge!!) so we could still make our closing date. TRULY above and beyond service.

I have tried countless times to have them come out to look at my roof to fix it and no one ever came. I kept calling time and time again and could not reach anyone. The worst part is they were referred by someone but they did not live up to their title.

My project manager was clueless throughout the entire process. Everything was unorganized and very confusing. I received several invoices, all with different figures. At the end of the day I was over charged $900 which thankfully I was able to catch by going over my invoices in detail. Worst of all when I went to sell my house the roof didn't even pass the inspection as there was some flashing missing and a gutter misplaces! Called Total Roofing and there response was "it passed the city inspection". So much for there workmanship warranty. I will gladly pay someone else to fix their crap then to even deal with Total Roofing anymore. Horrible company. Will never reccomend to anyone!

I am finally writing a review after I have calmed down a bit, a year later. I will say that in the end I was able to get total roofing to remove the items off of my bill to where I was finally able to move forward; however, I am still dealing with their lack of service and having their work fixed. I want to make sure that others understand what they may be up against. My home was damaged last summer in the hail storm. Adam was my original project manager and was awesome when talking me into going with them for all of my home repairs (roof, paint, windows). As soon as I signed the contract, service and communication fell off completely with Adam. He was not responsive and I had to do all of the follow up and communication. I ended up asking for a new project manager and then that didn't work out either. My shed roof was never done, still to this day. They didn't do anything with the windows like they promised. They hired a subcontractor to paint my home and did a horrible job. Adam came out and agreed it was a bad job and had them come out to fix it. I came home the day they were "fixing" it and they literally had CHILDREN, one no more than 13 yrs old, working on my house. The daughter had to communicate with me because the only adult could not speak English. Obviously, it again was a horrible job as well. The painters did such a horrible job that I have to get it repainted and new boards on the house because they didn't prep properly and now the boards cant be fixed without brand new boards. I would call the office asking to talk to "Scott" since he responds on here to bad reviews, but they always sent me to Adam, knowing he was a huge part of the problem. I finally had to do all the general contracting and deal with everyone myself. Their lack of communication was astonishing. The amount of personal time off work I had to take in order to deal with all of the issues was crazy! I cant even go through all of the problems or I would be writing a novel, so please save yourself the hassle and contract with someone else.

Total Roofing- A company that considers a poor job as done and I mean "forgot" to repair the siding on one SIDE of the house. And when called to finish the job and get it right, the company has not responded in 6 months. Is that the company you want to use? We bought a house, but we couldn't move in until the owner had fixed the siding. Total Roofing was contracted to fix the siding. It took them 6 weeks to finally "finish it" and we moved in. When my husband was able to moved around a little better ( he had a fracture on his leg), he discovered that 1 side of the house still had a lot of hail damage. We called Total Roofing and the same thing happened to us as to others, Adam, the project manager would say a date when the people would be here to finish it or the secretary would give us the number of the person that is supposed to come out, but no one shows up. They also say that they will call us back but they don't. How long does it take to repair a job done very poorly? According to Total Roofing the siding of my house was completely repaired a little over 6 months ago, except that they missed the siding on one side of the house. It has been 6 months and despite our many calls, they still have not fixed the siding of that wall. Our house is on Campground Dr. so unfortunately we are real clients

Over a decade ago, Total Roofing did my house's roof and all was done well, then I foolishly went with another company a few yrs ago and had some issues but eventually got it worked out. I called Matt at Total Roofing last week to see if my roof needed repair/replacement after the horrible wind we had last months. Matt came out the other day and checked my roof, he said all was fine now and I didn't need any repair or replacement. I really appreciate his excellent service and honesty and I will be calling Total Roofing when I do need my roof repaired/replaced. Thanks!

We highly recommend Total Roofing. Shane was incredibly knowledgeable, and worked really hard to get our Insurance to pay to get everything done right. After having a really bad experience with another contractor, Shane was a fresh of breath air. It did take a few months of back and forth with the insurance, but Shane got it taken care of just like he said he would. He really was a straight shooter. Honest, hardworking, and knowledgeable people are hard to come by anymore. We had no idea what we were doing since this was our first time dealing with a insurance claim. Total Roofing re-roofed our house and had our gutters replaced after the 2016 hail storms. Another roofing company wouldn't do the work in the timeframe we wanted and Total was able to get it done well in advance of the other company. The only problem we had was with the gutters. The gutters were leaking in several locations and since the gutters were sub-contracted out we had to wait. After several calls to Total Roofing they finally came back and hopefully fixed the gutter leaks.

I used to be an insurance adjuster specializing in property claims, so I have looked at literally thousands of roofs. I selected Total Roofing to replace the roof on my home and am totally satisfied with the work. True, there were some initial issues, but they stood behind all of the work their crew did and it was really top notch. From reworking a problem flashing or two from the last roofer to a really great job on the ridge cap (which is a problem for most homeowners due to being done incorrectly 90% of the time), the job turned out great. I will use them again—guaranteed since we have so much hail here. Nice job guys. No gimmicks, just a good honest job at a fair price.

My husband and I left a 1 star review due to many problems that we experienced through Total Roofing towards an uncompleted job. The company sent out their inspector and had to fix a couple things before our roof could pass inspection. The inspector mentioned that he had heard around the office that a negative review had been left about our experience with Total Roofing. He mentioned that he had been asked if we could change our negative review, or at least improve it because of his service. I told him that even though his service was great, the overall service from the company would not change our review. Since then, my husband has been receiving countless e-mails from Total Roofing asking us to change our review or to give a better review. Today, May 1, we received a Thank You card in the mail from the President/CEO of Total Roofing, who has yet to return a phone call. Phone calls have been ignored by him and Adam, the Vice President. Thank you for what? For a horrible experience through Total Roofing? If you would like us to change our review, return a phone call, which should have been done in the first place. Don't speak and use your employees to try and fix a problem that he wasn't involved in.

I must say I'm very disappointed in this company, they dont live up to there companys mission and vision statement. I gave this company a second chance after serveral fail attempts to get my roof repaired. After 20 year of military service commucation is the key to success. The biggest issue I had and it starts from the top of the company. Lack of communication and follow up.

Had my roof replaced by TR from 2016 summer storm. Winter 2017 we had some leaking in our master bathroom, TR came and looked inside but couldn’t find the problem. Had another leak reported by our tenants dec of 2018 so we were assuming it was the snow melting from the top. Had contacted my original PM, Jason Pankhurst multiple times to no avail. Kept having to contact the front office multiple times to get in touch with Jason. Finally after several calls, they reassigned to a new PM. Justin was awesome and found the problem after climbing on top of the roof. He said he wanted to get it fixed before Christmas, which sounded great. Now we’re in January, and haven’t heard from him since. Called the office a few times. Talked to some nice/helpful ones, and one not so nice/helpful one (Tiffany). On top of that, my tenant just reported another leak on the other side of the house. I guess warranty work isn’t their top priority . Not sure why USAA refers them.

I was late to get insurance repairs done on my rental house. I had one year to complete the repairs and I was down to the last 30 days before I started to looking for a contractor. After seeing some ads I contacted Total Roofing. I was really expecting them to tell me I had to wait since there are so many houses with hail damage in the Colorado Springs area. The Total Roofing foreman I talked to check their schedule and said he could meet my deadline. I was a little skeptical, but since I didn't really have much choice, I agree to go with Total Roofing. I was pleasantly surprised when the job got done exactly as I was told. Note that the work was more than just roofing. It included paint, screens, and the mail box. The work was very professionally done and ahead of my insurance deadline. The Total Roofing foreman was very good about keeping on contact and making sure I was informed about the progress. I'm very happy with the work and service I got from Total Roofing and can whole heartily recommend them for any roofing and/or repair project. Thanks Total Roofing.

I was not impressed with this company. The easiest process was calling to schedule an inspection - the receptionist/scheduler was polite and responsive, but that was the end of my positive experience. When Tony and Lee arrived for my inspection appointment, they did not even inspect the roof and associated damage. Instead, they only wanted to see the paperwork and monetary amount my insurance company was willing to give for the repairs. They declared they would do it for that price without any further action on their part - not surprising, considering my insurance company was generous. I was wary and called to talk to my insurance company about the way this was handled. They informed me that just asking to see the paperwork without a physical inspection was an irresponsible practice. When I called Tony to discuss concerns I had that were not addressed at the first meeting, none of my calls were ever returned. I went with a different company that has been much more honest in their approach to my home repairs.

This is a general contractor. They can get pretty much anything structural or cosmetic fixed on a house. However, it's important to understand that they use subcontractors, as is common practice in this industry. I had different contractors for my windows, screens, roof, siding, and ceiling leak. For some reason, there were 4 different people that came in to look at and measure my windows for replacement. The 3rd guy ended up actually doing the work and he was awesome. He was on time, polite, informative and did a great job. The siding was done by a group of guys that didnt speak any English (I think they spoke Japanese or Korean). When they left there was siding all over my yard. They had moved my patio furniture for some reason but didn't put it back. The worse thing was that they left my gate wide open, letting all of my dogs out. They also used a different type of siding than my existing siding. Getting my screens replaced was a real pain. A young man came out & replace the wrong screens. This was baffling to me since I showed him the ones to be replaced and it seemed obvious since it was the ones that were torn. He replaced perfectly good screens but not the broken ones. He even left 2 screens completely off. He, also left the gate wide open. Luckily, I emailed Total Roofing and they were able to have the problem fixed. The roofers seemed to do a good job buy they were very messy. They left trash and nails everywhere. I picked up over 20 nails, had to take 1 dog to the vet after she stepped on a nail and, I ended up with nails in 2 of my tires. They too, left the gate wide open. I complained about the nails to Total Roofing and was told someone would come out & pick up any more stray nails but that never happened. For months I kept finding loose nails in the yard & driveway. In the end, all the work got done. I have no doubt that it was much easier to hire Total Roofing than to hire a different company for each of the jobs myself. I would caution Total Roofing to be a bit more careful with which subcontractors they use. I never had a final inspection or walkthrough even though I was told there would be one. I was also not provided with the paper, I was told I would receive, saying that the roof was high impact. This was supposed to get me a discount on my homeowner's insurance. My parents & brother also used this company and had similar issues, with varying degrees.

We used Total Roofing for a small, 6'x6' repair. They did a thorough job with our old ceramic tiles, and there have been no leaks. They also checked our roof for any storm damage without charge. We will use them again in the future.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Unfortunately, we decided to use Total Roofing to complete an insurance claim for hail damage last year. From the onset, there was poor communication, delays and wrong information. The crew's cleanup was horrendous and we were finding nails and debris all over our backyard for several days. The gutter company they used came out and installed white gutters, even though we had chosen brown ones, and it was almost a full month before they were able to remedy the situation and install the correct gutters. Added to all of that, our roof then FAILED INSPECTION because it was missing crucial flashing where the garage roof meets the house. This inspection was in May, and Total Roofing never notified us that the roofing inspection had failed and they needed to come out and make repairs for it to pass inspection! It is July now, and it was by a stroke of luck I got on the Pikes Peak Building Department's website and saw the permit for our roof was still open and had failed inspection. WE HAD TO CONTACT THEM about it, and they were clueless about what was going on. When my husband called to ask about the failed inspection, we were told they would contact us to schedule the repairs.This is the kind of shoddy service and work that gets a contractor's license pulled, and rightfully so. When you hire a "professional" you expect them to know what they are doing, and do it correctly. This has certainly not been our experience with Total Roofing. Only use Total Roofing if you want hours of frustration, incompetent work and a complete lack of communication; all to end up 6 months later with a roof that still isn't complete.

Though spending a ton on advertising on tv and billboards as if they are the best, they are very, very bad. Their workmanship is bad (40% my roof blew off after just being installed while none of my neighbors even had a repair), but their logistics and billing are terrible. If Casey is your project lead, you are in trouble. They installed the wrong garage doors (two completely different colors). When they thought they weren't making enough money on the job (though they charged the limits of whatever the insurance company would pay so they knew in advance what payment would be) they tried to charge me and my insurance 2x what three other companies bid for replacing a vinyl fence. Though they initially tell you all you will have to pay is what the insurance pays, they asked me to pay above what my limits were for the fence, despite charging $7000 more to replace a fence. When I questioned their bill, they told me it was labor to pull posts. I problem solved how they could do it without pulling posts, and they still charged 2x. Which clued me in to the fact they weren't telling the truth and that is when I got 3 other bids.They took 8 months when they told me it would be 1 month. I think they committed insurance fraud by billing the insurance company and submitting invoices of completed work that was not completed, and they did repairs with sealant rather than replacing the roofing product (which is what the insurance company paid them to do). I of course spoke with Casey first, then got no where, and asked to speak with his manager Adam. I was told he'd call me 8 days ago, but no call, and I have reminded them once during that time. They are brutal - the type of company that is real big today and then will lose their license tomorrow.

**Update 29 Apr 19** Have to say i don't think i have ever been as impressed with a company's response to a complaint. The owner called me and explained the situation with all of the hail damage that occurred in town and promised to make it right. Fixed my warranty repairs immediately and even fixed several other badly damaged areas free of charge. If any other roofing companies are reading this review, this is what customer service should look like.Will 100% call them again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you dont have major hail damage. They wont even give you a call back for a quote. Had total roofing recommend by my insurance company a few years ago to fix some roof leaks. Ive had to have them out three more times to patch the same locations but the leaks kept coming back (but significantly smaller each trip.) This summer i had them out to look at an area and a couple of other repairs. Justin Redwine came out to look at the roof and said he would get me a quote in a few days...waited a week no quote. So i called the office, same story “well get you a quote tomorrow”....nothing. Waited a MONTH!...nothing. I called the office one last time and was assured i would at least have a quote by that evening....nothing and its been another two weeks. If they ever give me a call back ill update the review if they actually fix the leak this time. This company obviously has no concern for their customers if they cant make big dollars from the repair.

Had them come out last week to look at a tile that had blown off during recent storm. Salesperson said that they would be out Friday morning before the next rain. It's now Tuesday and they still haven't been out for the repair. Called the both Monday and Tuesday to find out what the problem is. No call back and no repair. Told them today to forget it.

I... can't believe this company. I had them recommended by USAA (which I will also let them know my experience) and it was my mistake going with what my insurance company recommended. They have been working on my hail damaged house for months. They literally only replaced the rood and gutters then billed me for windows/vents that they just... NEVER CAME BACK AND DID. Every single time I call Adam he says "I can't get ahold of USAA" until finally he admitted he doesn't want to wait on hold with them anymore so he literally just stopped. Stopped working on my house but guess what? They are still sending me invoices for work that hasn't even been done!! I can't believe this money sucking company would be so ridiculously rude and inconsiderate! I talk to USAA claims easily and often so i don't get it! They then asked to get my personal USAA account use they can call in as a customer since "I talk to someone so easily" - so unprofessional!
