I was given the name Larry who came over to look at my home. He promised to give me a bid on a deck that wasn't wood with my contract. I never heard from him. He gave me a lot of stories and lies.I do not recommend Larry. As for Garner contracting all I can say is I do no recommend or trusts Larry, only be careful if he comes to your home. Do not trust Larry

These guys do excellent work. I live in a very old condo complex, and in addition to just replacing roofing, they had to deal with rotten wood in places. They came up with a clever, reasonably priced, and clean looking solution to areas that could have been a really serious and expensive nightmare. On my deck, some of the initial work didn't turn out exactly right on the first try, and they redid it with no grumbling or trying to wiggle out of it, like some contractors I know of probably would have done. I also think they are just plain nice people. When I saw the "bosses" interacting with each other and their crews, EVERYONE, from the top on down, treated each other with respect. This is so important to me, as you don't always see that kind of basic civility anymore. You can trust these guys to do what's right by you!

Gardner Contracting was one of the firms recommended by our homeowners insurance (Nationwide) to assess and take care of repairs after a major hailstorm destroyed out roof and other portions of our home in Fountain, Colorado. Scott Meisenhelder from Gardner's Denver office has been outstanding to work with, taking time to find and explain what the insurance should take care of (this was our first claim of this sort) and to oversee all facets of the work as it progressed. He addressed and dealt quickly with any of my concerns concerning either his firm's or any sub-contractors' work, and was always available, informative, personable and professional. Most of all, he made me feel that our job was unique and important despite the deluge of work his firm was taking on after this disaster. Gardner's work on our roof seems excellent, and was done very quickly after the damage was assessed. I would prefer not to have to go through all of this again, but Scott and Gardner Contracting made it as painless an ordeal as possible, as has Nationwide Insurance.

I had met with Gary to look at my roof and he was just wonderful very kind and nice and very educated in the roofing business. He also went over all of my paperwork from my adjuster because I didn't understand anything and he explained things absolutely clear to where I understood everything and that was so nice. He made sure I knew when the roof was going to be stocked and when they were going to start Roofing and they stocked it the day he said and they started Roofing the day that he said. I was assigned a Project Manager who met with me and went over every detail in advance, even bringing up items I wouldn't have known to ask about. Unlike some companies where I have to call a main number and wait on hold or be transferred multiple times, my Project Manager took accountability, was extremely responsive, and got back to me same day most of the time. Ken was not only responsive but proactive, initiating communication with me throughout the entire project so I was in the loop on timing and status.
