So late for appointment had to cancel and reschedule, then when he did show up had a dog with him, not professional, asked to tie it up in the backyard then after he got on my roof and found out I just wanted a bid and would not let him do the insurance claim he refused to do a bid. If a company is only in to get as much as they can from you and your insurance company buyer beware.Would not recommend. 0 stars.

Contractor repeatedly tried to get me to sign off on job and pay deductible prior to completing all work and final roof inspection. Upon discussing these issues with contractor, he became very upset, stating his concern was about getting his crews paid, and even threatened to put a lien on my house! I provided contractor with failed roof inspection ticket and escalated through my insurance. Two days later contractor finally did the necessary tasks to allow city access for final inspection and it passed. Upon completion of work I paid contractor and signed off on job same day with no problem. In my opinion contractor acted in a very unprofessional manner and should take care of customer first then be concerned about getting paid and definitely don't make threats of liens before even completing the work and inspection. I'm sure this roofing repair market is very competitive, its unnecessary to deal with such lack of professionalism

Steve and his crews at Colorado Roofing Contractors are the best! We have replaced our roof after hail storms using CRC now two times - we would not even consider anyone else. Steve is a true professional; a business person who is friendly, courteous, always follows up on the details, and honest to a fault. He treats his crews well and keeps his commitments. I would highly recommend CRC do your roof as well.

Colorado Roofing, LLC took 63 business days to pay American Garage Door, a subcontractor for a job. Resulting in American Garage Door placing a LIEN on the property address.

My insurance denied my claim even though all my neighbors got new roofs. One call from my field supervisor from CRC to the insurance company and they were back out to re inspect. Now with my field supervisor present. Two weeks later I had my new roof on! I would recommend them to anyone asking.

My girlfriend hired Colorado Roofing Contractors, LLC for work related to the May 2017 hail storm and it has proven to be a regrettable decision at best. The main work included the roof and the siding, but she also contracted them install some windows in an effort to complete the task at the same time as the other work. The roof job did not pass inspection, the siding work is sub-par and shoddy, and the window installation is amateur and thrown together. The trim work associated with the windows and siding is rushed and done with no attention to quality or detail and the caulking of all of the seems for the trim and window work can only be described as a sloppy mess comparable to the efforts of a pre-school child attempting to glue a thin strip of paper using a glue bottle that is too large and heavy to maneuver and that has a large opening . The siding crew and the window installer did not listen to my girlfriends requests and left the area a complete mess until I involved myself and told them to clean up [and stayed to watch them do it]. The job was repeatedly put on hold and pushed back without any communication, incorrect materials were ordered multiple times, and several time the supervisor, Dave Weaver, was a no-show after he confirmed that he would be available and in many cases ignored calls and texts. As I write this, it is February 2018, and the job still is not closed out. Luckily, final payment has not been made and as a business, they should not ask for final payment for the delays, shoddy work, bad customer service, and all- around poor presentation. Buyer beware! If you decide to do business with this company keep record of every bit of communication and do not pay them until the prove their work is quality.

After posting this review I received a very professional and apologetic email from the Office Manager at Colorado Roofing. It appears that the email traffic (multiple emails) between Colorado Roofing and American Garage Door which started on 10/18/2018 and ended when the invoice was paid on 3/5/2019 resulted in miscommunication between both companies. (Colorado Roofing offered to provide copies of all email traffic.) The explanations I received from Colorado Roofing and from American Garage door differ somewhat, but bottom line is all obligations have been paid and no LEIN was filed on my home. Colorado Roofing assures me that they do pay all obligations timely and have made procedural changes to help eliminant or at least minimize the chances for miscommunication in the future. Thank you for your follow-up to this review which demonstrates that the client opinion and satisfaction is very important to you. ***************************** Colorado Roofing does not pay their obligations in a timely manor. On 12/14/2018 I paid $4953.76 to Colorado Roofing. $936.00 of that balance was to be paid to American Garage Door. On 2/26/2019 I received via Registered Mail and 'Notice of Intent to File a Lien' on my home by American Garage Door. After a lot of frustration trying to get this resolved, I sent following email to Dave Weaver (the contractor I work with from Colorado Roofing) on 4/5/2019. "Colorado Roofing did not pay American Garage Door the additional monies I paid you for the upgrades. American Garage Door has now placed a LIEN on my home for 936.00. I am so very disappointed in you and your company that professionalism was thrown out the door. Please resolve this issue by COB 4-8-2019 even if you have to hand deliver the payment to Tammy Howard and American Garage Door on Monday. I want notarized copies of all paperwork and payments made on my behalf. I also want a signed and notarized copy of the payment to American Garage Door. Having a LIEN placed on my home hurts my credit and my good name. This is unacceptable as I paid you in good faith." Here is the response I received.... "Attached you will find your paid in full invoice there's ever a problem maybe you should try calling before sending an accusatory email" Please notice that Dave Weaver was on the defensive and never mentioned that it was 63 business days after Colorado Roofing received my money until the invoice to American Garage Door was paid (Paid 3/5/2019). No mention that it was over 90 days from the time American Garage door invoiced Colorado Roofing. No apology about the late payment resulting in a 'Intent to Lien' notice. No offer to call American Garage Door to make sure everything was resolved. No willingness to do what he could to help me the client who paid everything timely. ONLY Defensive response. American Garage Door made several attempts to collect prior to processing the 'Intent to File Lien'. Only then did Colorado Roofing pay their debt. I can only assume that this is a ongoing problem with Colorado Roofing and Dave Weaver. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Please do your due diligence and research before hiring a contractor and company.
