We used ARI in 2016 when we had a house fire. Typically you'd think that if you hire someone to do restoration, you can be rather hands off and let them do their job....but that's DEFINITELY not the case with this one. During the process we had constant back and forth with them regarding payment, timelines, etc. They had squabbles with our insurance company that required us to constantly have to play mediator...and they were CONSTANTLY attempting to cut corners, to the point we had to stay on top of them to make sure things didn't go right. At one point it escalated to the point they threatened to put a lien on the house unless I paid, despite the fact work was STILL not done. Finally came to a resolution, which at that point, I just wanted to be done with it. Fast forward to now...over the past year since moving back, I have constantly found areas where they have missed, poorly done work with power outlets, constantly tripped breakers, spots not painted, spots that still have soot not cleaned (behind toilets, under sinks, closets, etc). It's just been one thing after another and there's always push back or denials when they are confronted. I would NEVER recommend this company in a million years. We recently used another recovery company called PuroClean, which made me realize how the experience is SUPPOSED to be, which has prompted me to write this email after they went behind and showed me how poor of a job ARI has done. I'm writing this now, as I have a dehumidifier running in the basement, that keeps tripping the breaker when the air conditioner turns on (because the brilliant electricians hired by ARI decided 20 amp is plenty for our basement outlets and Central Heat/Air). On the bright side, I've learned a ton about how to fix power issues!
TLDR: Unless you just want to have a half-ass done job with a bunch of ordeal and follow-up, don't use this company!
