Not a very pleasant experience at all. The person answering the phone was very snarky. When I finally got a call back for someone to come out and provide a quote for the work I needed, that person was also very snarky. Late in the day, the day after someone came out to provide a quote, I called back to see about when I could expect the quote and possibly a time when I could get the work scheduled. I was met once again with the snarky receptionist who told me I would receive a call. The quote came via email and was surprisingly high. I waited patiently for a few days for a call... it never came. A friend of mine knowing the work I needed done was able to get R&M Roofing to come out within a day. They did the work I needed done in less than 2 hours and charged me half as much as the quote I got from Rain Proof. Three days after that, I finally received a call from Rain Proof to say that they had a guy in my area today and he will be by to make my repairs. I told him that I no longer needed the work to which he scoffed at me and again very snarkily said "thanks for the call". Not finding the need to engage, I simply said no problem, thanks and have a good day. What I should have told them was that just because you provide someone a quote does not mean you have secured the work and next time, maybe try to schedule a time for the customer rather than just say you will be there today after not having any contact for close to a weeks after the initial walk down for a quote. Also, people skills training would do this group some good.
