Extremely professional and dedicated to their business. They were on location, and working much quicker than expected and at fair market rates. There are few businesses left that underpromise and overdeliver, Servpro of Casper is one of them.

Very disappointed, I did not receive an estimate as requested. I specifically asked for an estimate to repair water damage to the ceiling after the water heater broke and leaked. I explained the situation in detail and stated I had not contacted my insurance yet because I figured it was going to be more than my deductible. He said that typically fixing water damage is over $1000 and that he could come out the next day. I wasn't sure what time would work, so he politely said he would call me in the morning and work out some time. After not hearing anything by 10am, I called the office and gave them the contact of who would be in the home to let him in. He called shortly thereafter. Somehow that turned into Lamar thinking a leaking water heater needed to be fixed or maybe that it was actively leaking? And that it was taken care of? Of course, I don't know the exact miscommunication that occurred between them, but all I wanted was an estimate to know how much it would cost to fix, since I thought I would likely be paying out-of-pocket. I am the homeowner (outright, no mortgage). Well, whatever transpired must offended Lamar or he thought it wasn't worth his time now, because after trying to contact him multiple times. He texted, "Servpro does not repair I do have a contractor that I can get to come out there and look at it but I cannot tell you when that will be." Their website says: "Like it never even happened." "SERVPRO of Meridian specializes in the cleanup and restoration of residential and commercial property after a fire, smoke or water damage." "no damage is too large or too small for SERVPRO of Meridian." I called the office to see what changed from the conversation yesterday. I really didn't understand--I have WATER DAMAGE that needs to be fixed! And Servpro is a company that supposedly fixes water damage. After a lengthy and frustrating phone call, Lamar made every excuse he could to avoid the real reason he did not want to come out and give me an estimate to fix the water damage. Saying that I was supposed to call him in the morning, he called me, and he was told not to come out twice (not true). How people usually call him when the water is pouring out (which is strange because I don't think he's a plumber). And why did I wait to contact him so long after the leak occurred (which is also weird because he asked that the day before and I said during the beginning of the month). Then he said how they are so busy with jobs from the cold snap and he was booked and he couldn't come out (So wouldn't I just have had to wait anyway?) I admit I was very frustrated and confused how a business didn't want work. I was equally aggravated at the poor customer service. I asked why he didn't state they didn't do water restoration yesterday! Well, I guess I should have done more research. I come to find out that "they" (Servpro in general) want to bill insurance for (TENS OF) THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for mitigation and remediation, which is essentially demolition/tear out and dry out. They don't actually DO restoration--that's contracted out. In fact, Servpro franchises are not required to do ANY repairs (Check out #6 restoration on the website and see that it is carefully worded with "many" not all.), which I think is misleading (if not false) advertisement based upon their motto and everything from the website to their service trucks that say "restoration." For water damage, they will just tear everything wet out, bring in big fans to dry things out, and leave it like that. They bill insurance for mitigation and remediation. Then another contractor will have to come repair it...whenever that is! And that is a SEPARATE insurance claim for repairs! I am SO GLAD I did not go with Servpro. I would have been stuck with no ceiling and insulation until another contractor could come out and fix it. And my insurance rates would have gone up! I really don't understand all the great reviews based upon my brief experience with the company. I will hire someone else for my water damage.

When I called to make an appointment they were booked for the day I preferred, however they were able squeeze is in. Chad and Eli were professional when they arrived and did an excellent job cleaning our carpets. The pricing for the services provided was in my opinion very fair and I would recommend this local Servpro to anyone needing carpets cleaned.
