I called the morning we found the problem and Carden responded in less than 3 hours. The technician solved the problem with the downstairs unit and also checked the upstairs unit. Carden Heating and Cooling was a true delight to work with! We are moving to a new location and I told the buyer of my home that I would have the AC serviced. Sarah in the office set my appointment for a Thursday morning at 9am. Kyle (technician) shows up at 8:55. This guy’s was truly a pros pro. He looked at everything from intake to outtake with a microscope! Blew out the lines, replaced some loose vent pipes, and charged with a couple pounds of Freon. As well as cleaned everything! This guy was the best! Not to mention it was all done at a super reasonable cost. These two 24 year old units will now run you out of the house it gets so cold. I can honestly say, if your using anyone other than Carden, your only cheating yourself.

It's no wonder Google trusts them so much because I feel the same way and can't sing their praises enough. Kevin was a pro with over 30 years of experience in HVAC. They came and performed warranty repairs to our a/c compressor, fixed in lightning speed. We had been waiting two weeks for the company that installed the new HVAC in our home (Buckner plumbing and heating) to come service the unit and after six calls to them in which they promised to be coming that day and then had an excuse each and every time why they weren't coming. They went so far as to tell us they don't money in warranty repairs, even when we had an extended warranty for 13 years. They told me to call someone else to come and do the repairs. The catch in all this was that our extended warranty covered both parts and labor. If we had to go to a different Trane dealer they would not cover the labor costs, but the parts were at no charge. I read several good reviews about Carden and decided to go with them. Our repairman was by far one of the most professional, kind and courteous people we have ever had the pleasure of working with. They gave us an estimate before hand and I had already checked the average labor costs to change the compressor out and their rate was very reasonable. Upon finishing the job and it came time to settle up with and to my amazement they came over five hundred dollars cheaper than the original estimate. HVAC has been running around the clock to keep our house at 62 degrees around the clock. I can't tolerate heat due to a medical condition. They called us a few days later to just in in to make sure it's still running great. It's now over a month since they fixed and I got an email just to check on us, which I truly appreciated. It's is running all the time to keep the house in an arctic deep freeze.

They were nice, professional, and arrived on time. This is why they earned two stars. However, I hired them to do winter maintenance and to tell me what was wrong with my units. I was talked into buying a starter kit for over 250 bucks which I later found out typically cost significantly less. This was for my upstairs unit which did not work. I ended up spending 3 times more than what I wanted to and my units still didn’t perform well. I was also told that I would be contacted with warranty information on my units which never happened. I understand that businesses have to make a profit but I still can’t help but feel taken advantage of.
