*Updated* 5-5-14 So! I am rewriting my entire review, and I've bumped my rating from 1 to 5 stars. To recap as briefly as I can: My wife had a cracked screen, we went into the Mayfair location to replace the screen for a $109 fee and had a bad experience with one of the reps, resulting in us leaving without the repair. We've actually had two more visits to the store since then. First, after receiving our information, a manager reached out to us and apologized for the experience we had. He thanked us for our feedback, clarified the store's perspective (they want to secure an agreement to a $350 replacement cost if something beyond the screen is damaged; something I can understand, but as a customer wouldn't want to get locked into) and invited us back for an attempt at fixing the phone. The fix worked, but there was a slight imbalance where the screen was not entirely flush with the casing. We left with the understanding that this might just be an artifact of the initial drop, but 24 hours after the fix the phone took a small bump and the new screen splintered. We took it back in tonight and I wasn't sure what to expect, since there's no real way to determine if it was an issue from the original fix or just an unfortunate coincidence. Regardless, the store was extremely helpful and was able to swap our device out for a replacement. Of course I'm happy that my cost was minimized, but I'm taking the time to update my review out of appreciation for the customer service. Negative interactions are going to occur, but it's oftentimes far easier to just leave a customer upset than it is to reach out and help. After my first trip to the store I was legitimately thinking about trading my own phone in for an Android device as a matter of principle, but instead I'm a satisfied customer.

We had to wait from 1 until 5:15 almost p.m. to take back a iPhone 7 that was defective from a bunch of others that were defective. They replaced it but it took so long to go to the process we're exhausted and spent a great deal of money in the shopping center wanting to eat and to just to get a couple of sodas while we're waiting for the long duration. Other than that everybody was very helpful very friendly and I would would have given him a five-star. It's just exhausted long wait of more than three plus hours that we had to wait.

Chaos when I walked in for the 1st time. I wasn't checked in for 10 mins before I had to figure out the system & find the person who does that. Then you sit on boxes & wait for another person just to assign you to someone else. Then the 3rd person tries to help you by giving you a bunch of suggestions... to do yourself... at home. This maybe my last Apple purchase...???!!!!!!!

The people here are a joke. I drove 45 minutes one way to bring in some defective cords, and they’re telling me their fake. I feel the guy scrutinized me because of my skin color. This place sucks. Horrible customer service.

The employees here a really friendly and helpful! Oftentimes, if you bring something in for a repair and it's small enough, they won't even charge you. In truth, there's absolutely nothing wrong with this actual location! It's genuinely very nice! Just a note to buyers, however, that oftentimes there's tons of extra accessories sold here that can be found for way way cheaper at Best Buy or other stores. That's not to say Apple products are bad, but just know that as far as chargers and cases, you're probably better off purchasing them from a different place

Staff was okay when I dropped my phone off for a repair but then very rude when I went to pick it up. They give you a time frame to come pick it up when the repair should be done, was early by like 5 mins and they wouldn’t help me until exactly that time because “the times are generally exactly correct” so after 10 mins of waiting to speak to someone again the phone still wasn’t done and I had to wait another half hour.

There should never be a 40 minute wait when there was at one point 9 employees standing around doing nothing. I'm not a big Apple person to begin with. I only purchased an Macbook air for professional reasons. I still use my PC for personal things. However this experience has not swayed my opinion. I'm big on customer service and with that many employees standing around, my customer experience is more than lacking.

I recommend making an appointment before visiting. It gets crowded really fast. However, once your appointment time arrives, the floor is all yours. The Genius Bar staff are willing to ask any questions you may have during your appointments. I’ve been there for a battery replacement on my phone and a computer charger cord replacement. I was satisfied with my service both times.

Went in with an iphone stuck in recovery mode and I couldn't restore it. Audree (Aubree?) was attentive and I was in and out of the store with a working phone in less than half an hour.

1) Extremely long wait time for even a simple purchase. 2) Did not honor the trade in agreement after Christmas despite advertising otherwise. 3) Ran the same Christmas ad (roughly a minute long) OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. It made me even angrier than the fact I had to wait over an hour to purchase a product from them. Next time, I'll go to a different shop, regardless of price. Apple has gotten too full of themselves.

In spite of the many negative reviews I’ve found the associates at this location to be friendly and helpful. Since October 2017 we have purchased a MAC Book Air and two iPhone 8plus phones. In every case the folks who helped us were very caring and thorough. We did not leave the store without all of our basic questions answered. Most recently Willie and Trista were kind helpers for iPhone rookies!

The worst customer service in my life 2 hours waiting and forgot to sign me in so another 2 hours waiting and they said to stop by another day because they close in few min. Just for the record I purchase 4 iPhones x and 4 Apple Watches and treated like this unprofessional , very bad and 4-6 employees just stood around see pictures

We are new to Apple devices, and was in looking to purchase two iPads. The staff was dismissive and uninviting. When we were finally helped, after being passed by by multiple other patrons and going up to a staff member helping someone else, we were finally given a staff member. Again, dismissive to our questions and it seemed like we were wasting his time. Horrible experience.

Long wait, but knowledgeable staff, provided you can get someone to assist you. On a few occasions, I've visited the store when it was not busy, and still ended up waiting 20 minutes just to be acknowledged. I would not advise going to the Mayfair location, unless it's immediately after the store opens.

Deceptive sales practices. They lie to their customers to make a sale. My kids purchased their mom a new I-Phone from Target for her bday. She got the insurance plan from Target but went in to Mayfair Apple store to get a screen protector. The manager of the store helped us as we discussed the difference between the insurance she bought & Apple Care. We were told Apple Care was the best so we signed up for it and cancelled the other one. Never did she mention "OPTIONS" for Apple Care. Now the phone was lost or stolen and we call Apple Care to find out we are not covered because we chose the wrong option! Why would we cancel a plan to purchase something not as good?? Wow! What terrible service & failure to explain OPTIONS! (And this was from the manager!) We were just told Apple Care was the best.Let's see, we have an Apple computer, I-watch, I-pad and phones. But this is one family that will NOT purchase from Apple again, nor go to this store!

I just had a couple of questions and the young person working there said I should call the support line or take some classes on how to use the phone. He was very busy talking with the other employees so I guess he didn’t have time for an old man of 47 years with two questions. Why did I pay $750 for the phone....?

Worst service ever. My son's phone doesn't recieve service anymore. An appointment is 5 days out so Apple customer service rep said to go in Directly to the store and speak with someone. What a waste of time! The guy was sooo rude even after i told him we live an hour from any Apple Store. I'm really rethinking Apple products. This was also a second visit to an Apple Store for us over this issue with horrible and incompetent service.

Total and complete disregard for people's time. After walking in on a Monday at 1pm, with the store nearly empty, I had to wait over 50 minutes to see someone to buy an iPad Pro. It would've been understandable if the store was packed but it wasn't. Quite the contrary. Don't waste your time! I WILL NOT be coming back and if you value your time, neither should you.

Totally unimpressed! made a genius bar res and took in my laptop. Need a new battery which they ordered for me. Didnt notify me when they said would be in so I tried to call their local number for confirmation. NOBODY WORKS AT THIS STORE- took me 25 minutes and 4 phone calls until i got somebpdy to pick up(on hold for over 15 minutes) Then a LONG..........wait while they checked on my case with no apology for the long wait. And the battery is not in....no idea when it will be. What a joke APPLE SERVICE is!

I’m thoroughly pleased with my experience today, from Kierre to tech Jazzy! Jazzy provided very professional service, while diagnosing and repairing the issues with my iPhone. I will have no worries about recommending this location, in Mayfair Mall, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Might I also add that, although busy, I was in and out in less than 1.25 hours.

Our computer experienced an unknown problem and needed to be fixed. Apple fixed it quickly and free of charge. During our visit, the tech support guy answered my questions and gave me tons of information and professional advice that I use to this day. The way he was dedicated to truth and helping us out as much as possible (instead of just trying to make the most sales for Apple as he could) was refreshing, and really improvedy feelings toward Apple, as a company that truly cares for integrity and making this world a better place for everyone!

Something about the staff at the Apple store has caused them to become utter dicks. I went in to buy a new Apple Watch and they treated me like I couldn’t afford it. And another staff member kept pushing me off and didn’t want to help me or anybody really for that matter. Really sad how they Quality of staff have gone down hill. Can't fix a battery problem on my iPhone 7. Everytime I come, it's at least an hour or longer to wait. Still can't fix the problem even though battery has been replaced and software flashed. Never buy another iPhone.

Excellent experience, I had to replace my IPhone due to age, wear and abuse. Staff was very knowledgeable as to what was needed and desired. No hard sales, power closes or other similar sales b.s. Staff was very helpful in setting up the new phone and ensured that all of the content, apps and settings properly transferred to the new phone. I would definitely go back again to purchase a ohone, computer or other electronic device from them.

I think the store does the best it can manage to do. This location is always busy, people always are trying to get questions answered, or making large purchases. I think with that in mind, it's understandable some of the wait times. If you need to set an appointment, be prepared to wait. If you need to pop in for something quick, they do the best they can on getting you in and out fast.

The employees don't seem to know what they are doing. I wasted over an hour waiting for them to tell me that my apple care was expired( which its not) and that they couldn't service my phone because when we signed up with Verizon we did it through Best Buy Mobile. I called best buy and i in fact do have the apple care( not expired) and they also said their system does not lock out the apple employees from putting in a work order to fix a phone. Terrible service, terrible employees. Going back to Samsung with my next phone for sure.

Pixels on IPhone 6s burnt-out after 6 months. We made appointment for service and ended up waiting quite a bit past our scheduled time before getting help. After looking at the phone they did in fact find burnt-out pixels but said they thought "moisture" may have gotten in the phone and suggest we buy new one at discount rate or better yet upgrade to iPhone 7. Their cheap phone failed within 6 months and all they wanted was for us to spend more or spend even more on upgrade.... :(

NOT A FAN! I bought a refurbished July 2018 MacBook Pro. Within 2.5 weeks of opening the box the ports on the laptop died. Took it to the store and the best they can do is send it off for a week to get fixed. 5 days!!! I just started a new job and need the laptop to work and they don’t care a single bit. My only options are, per the store staff, do nothing, send it off for 5 days to get fixed or buy a brand new one. All of those options are a major inconvenience to me and they DO NOT care one bit. I am livid!!!! They said if i had bought a brand new one, they would have gladly exchanged it for a new one but since i bought a refurbished one( like I’m a f’ing criminal) they can’t help me! DO NOT BUY A REFURBISHED MAC!!!

Even with Appointment you end up waiting. Store is finally clean, but employees need a "freshening up", literally. Showers, and a shaving for each. Walk in without appointment, Employees generally chatting among themselves, and must wait, and wait, and wait for assistance. Or, 3-5 employees to take your name, and then they stand around, while customer waits for someone who can actually assist. Maybe you could help more customers if you had one person to take names, and make the rest do WORK. Sorry apple, this store is continuing to go down hill.

Absolute WORST customer service I have ever dealt with, and I have previously worked customer service! Went in with an issue on the IPhone 7 “ model A1660 - cellular update failure”. A KNOWN ISSUE of Apple and the best thing the MANAGER could do was have me drive all the way back the next day (busy store) to have them run diagnostics for TWO WEEKS to identify the issue! An already identified “known issue” of Apple”! This model should have been recalled by Apple and replaced IMMEDIATLEY at no cost to me! Now I am stuck paying for a replacement. Absolutely terrible customer service by Apple staff.

I went to the Apple store to ask about an issue I had with the battery on my 6 week old iphone 7+. I set up an appointment ahead of time, and I only waited about 5 minutes before a tech came over to help me. the tech did all of this stuff to my phone, did a factory reset on my phone, then told us we were good to go and that the issue was solved. come to find out, the issue was not solved and i still have problems with my battery.

This store is always awful. Usually I stop in for something quick and am told it will be an hour wait so I leave. This past weekend though I wanted to get the new series 4 Watch so I went in fully expecting a wait. After wandering the store was told to go across the mall to a line of people waiting to be helped. Okay. Waited in line for my turn. Listened to the woman helping the customers in front of me be incredibly unhelpful. All they wanted to know was whether or not they had a product in store and no one would give them an answer. Finally the woman told her she was the only person in the whole store with that information apparently. they had some available but told her she needed an appointment. So they asked when the next one was and the employee said around 4:30/5. It was 4:20. Seemed silly to make an appointment for 10min from now but what do I know. Finally my turn! Tell her exactly what I want. Out of stock. Okay. When will you get more in? We get deliveries every 3-6days. Okay I’ll try back another time. No sooner do I finish my sentence than does an African American gentleman try and ask her a question. This woman gives him the most attitude I have ever seen a customer service employee give in my life. Completely dismissed him telling him to go to the end of the line. Boxed him out so her back was to him and acts like we are still talking after I clearly already said I was leaving. I Have never seen So much disrespect. I tried calling today to see if they had gotten any of the watches in stock and the woman on the phone told me I had to make a reservation to come in to the store to find out if they had any. So ridiculous, I’m done. I’ll wait until it is out in other stores in a week.

I set up an appointment and still had to wait a long time to finally be helped. I had a problem with my laptop and they said they couldn't figure it out so they needed to keep it for a longer time so tech people could look at it. When the finally called me they said they had no idea what the problem was but they knew it would cost about $600. Already upset because I'm a college student so I clearly cant afford that, I went back to pick it up. I ended up waiting 45mins just for someone to get my laptop from the back. Annoyed I took it and went home. When I got home I took my laptop out of the wrapper they had it in realized there was now a dent in the bottom of my laptop. Ended up taking it to my schools tech team who fixed me problems for much less $$$ and the told me that when the apple person dented my laptop they also broke the wifi piece inside. Overall I now hate this apple store and will do whatever I can to avoid it.

Called when I was leaving my house, which was 30 mins away to try and set up an appointment to get my phone checked. After going back and forth on the phone for 25 mins with an Australian tech support guy who couldn't set up an appointment he eventually said he had no idea what the wait was like. I showed up at 5pm on a Friday and am told to wait 2 hours for help. Finally my ticket came up and eventually the person ran the diagsontic check and nothing came up. But somehow didn't know that you can have a wired hotspot through USB. After I saw their lack of knowledge I just gave up and went to Verizon and got a Samsung. Apple Store is the world class model for ineffeciny.

I stopped by this morning because my son's iPad wasn't charging due to a broken off piece of charger in the port (which I didn't know at the time). I know there is normally a long wait at this store so I stood in line waiting before the store even opened. I was checked in and only had to wait about 20 minutes. My genius, Alex, was amazing. I was an emotional wreck because my son has autism and his ipad is everything to him. Alex was kind, compassionate and was able to help me. It was a quick fix and I was out very quickly, tears in my eyes because I was so overwhelmed with relief! Thank you, Alex. You made my day and I hope you see this and know I am truly grateful for your help!

I purchased an iPhone black Saturday with a promise of receiving a $200.00 gift card from virgin mobile if I activated the phone in store with virgin mobile. I even asked while purchasing the phone on the phone when I would get the card and was told that I would get those details once I picked up the phone. Once I arrived at the store the associates said that we would get the card from virgin mobile once we activated. We go through switching the phone number to then be told from virgin mobile that we need to purchase the phone through them and they are sorry we can not get the gift card. They suggest returning the phone to apple. The associates at apple said if we did this we would loose our phone number. This is a scam, by apple and virgin mobile. When I called the apple store they should have told me they did not give the gift card and to contact virgin mobile. When I arrived at the store and asked about the gift card, once again I should have been told before activation, that they did not give out the gift card. Apple waited until I had fully activated the phone before they said they had nothing to do with the gift card. Why did you not tell me this when I ordered the phone. You are partially responsible for this mix up.

Recommend bringing any damaged Apple devices to these professionals. The appointment process is somewhat timeous but once you’re in; you’re in. The professionals won’t try to make any profit off your repairs. They also offer an exchange price in case the phone is totaled. I trust these experts when it comes to diagnosing a problem. Other third party repair shops milked money out of me and ultimately got nothing fixed.

In the handful of times I have tried contacting the Mayfair store by phone, I have either had the automated phone system disconnect me or transfer me to a national support center. The one time I got through and wanted to know if they had a particular model of iPhone is stock, I was told that I would have to come into the store to see what was in stock. The Mayfair store is a 40+ minute drive for me each way. I'm not going to spend all that time driving in just to find out they don't have the phone I want. It baffles me that people think so highly of Apple's customer support -- I've found them anything but supportive.

Overall I've liked Apple products but with the amount of people waiting for repairs including battery replacements that are "supposed to" fix Apple's latest little scheme, no longer confident in the product. Some employees at this store I think are overwhelmed with people's frustration with their Apple devices that they can't keep a cool head. One star is due to an employee not being truthful and pretending to be an expert on Apple issues and products.

Went in to get my sons battery replaced on his iPhone. After almost an hour of them wasting our time we were told that if we didn’t agree to an extra $150 for a new screen replacement if they broke the screen removing the battery, they would not work on the phone. All they were doing is trying to upsell us on the service of getting the battery changed! I have done business with Apple for many years! Will not allow them to work on any more products of mine! For my household or my business! Their sales tactics have changed dramatically over the last couple of years now they want to price gouge you on services as well! Our sales lady was upset that we were not willing to buy a new phone from her today!

Would not recommend this store at all. Went in there to get battery replace then the frozen my phone and told me I had to buy a new one. When I got home I plug it into iTunes and got it to unfreeze. Basically they we’re lieing to me to get me to buy another phone instead of a battery.

Like many of the others commenting - I would give them a negative rating if the system allowed! Without a doubt the POOREST service and customer consideration I have ever experienced. Run from Store to store with excuses, Constant delays, 30 employees in the store with Apple shirts and half are simply chatting with peers and NOT helping customers. I have now gone to both the Glendale and Mayfair store and got poor service, excuses, constant delays and very poor attitudes from most of the Apple people I dealt with to simply replace the defective battery in my I Phone 6. I am shocked Apple allows this to happen. I have worked for a Fortune 500 company for 40 years and will be notifying our in house company Apple rep that we need to look at the other cell phone manufactures. I personally will no longer buy Apple products because of this experience - but not sure most (not all) of the Apple Store employees i Interacted with really gave a damn!

I've gotta tell you I was not expecting this. I'm a minor who owns many apple products including a newer MacBook, an iPhone, and an iPad, all of which I paid for myself out of job money, because I love apple's slim and simple products and I need it for college and school. Out of courtesy, I made an appointment to get a battery replacement for my iPhone a WHOLE WEEK in advance. With limited times, I was able to tightly fit it around my schedule. While I'm on the clock for work (an hour until I work) I'm asked to wait and "take a seat" over on the wooden blocks. It was a good 15 minutes before I was even NOTICED by someone, and then about 10 minutes after that I was finally helped. I was assisted by this young girl, probably not much older than me, who took forever just to even diagnose my battery problem. YES, I know my screen is cracked and I DON'T CARE what else is wrong with my phone, I just want a new battery so I can drop off my phone and go to work. So after this girl finished up with her dog and pony show, she asked me if I was 18 to sign some form. Now here's the problem with that, I'm not 18 yet, almost will be, but I purchased this phone with my own money. It's amazing, you JUST COULDN'T TELL ME that I needed to bring someone with me for this? NO WHERE on the apple support website did it say that I had to be 18 years or older for this or have someone who is to sign a form. My sister, who is waiting for me in the car, could have came inside (she's 18) if you would've told me about your ridiculous policy AHEAD OF TIME. Now about to be late for work, I took my phone and stormed out of there. You just wait and see, next time I visit, I'm bringing someone with, there will be no appointment, and I'm not leaving until I get my phone fixed! :) No further complaints, I love the company and their products but store policy is absolute garbage, waste of my time. Young people beware, go with someone who is a legal adult or they will refuse to do any repair on your phone

I want to thank Brian for all his help yesterday! I bought the new iPhone 6s on the upgrade program and he was so helpful! I originally got declined by Verizon but he explained to me that this was most likely because a lot of people were activating new phones that day. He called Verizon and with the help of the Verizon rep I got approved for the upgrade program, got the phone and the plan I wanted, and I was able to keep my number! (I switched from Sprint) And it all took about 20 minutes! I really appreciate his help, and the great customer service!

Walked in to get my i pod activated( don't know why it was deactivated). After multiple times trying to reset my password, nothing helped. I waited for a half an hour for a worker to help. Made eye contact with two guys standing against the wall to get their attention multiple times. They looked right past me like they didnt want to be there. I will never buy another apple product again. They lost a customer for life. Save yourself some time and buy elsewhere.

This place is definitely busy but it makes sense - there aren’t many Apple stores in the Milwaukee area so it gets a lot of people! I had an issue with my computer that has my whole life on it, and they were able to put me in as an emergency walk in. I had to wait about 4 hours but they were really sweet and apologetic about it. Then, they talked me through exactly what was happening and didn’t make me feel rushed or worried, even though the store was going to close! They eventually solved the issue and fixed it the next day, and when I went to pick it up they gave me so much advice to prevent it from happening again and helped me be make sure it’s 100% before I left. Such a great staff and well oiled machine! I’d definitely be careful about some of the lower star reviews - some people think they’re the worlds highest priority and can’t believe they have to stand in line haha

This is one of the worse experience. No one greet us upon entrance , had find the concierge. We came on for AirPod replacement , they thought we wanted new AirPods so they were going to take us right away when I clarified replacement I was told there would be a wait.. After a wait time was over 30 minutes my problem was all resolved by purchasing a new pair. Hmm totally waste of my time and poor service Did apple dress code change, the employees looked to casual many looked as if they just woke and came work with what they slept in. I usually recommend customers to visit the Apple Store if there are any issues that we cannot handle at our US Cellular Agent location, I will no longer be doing this. The Apple rep my customer set up an appointment with was completely incompetent: not only was he unable to distinguish if her phone was an iPhone 6 or an iPhone 7, but he told the customer that resetting her password to get her Apple ID working again (enabled) was something they couldn't help her with. What a joke.

last 8 years i have several type apple product. in the end if your warranty expired dont go apple store. i learned hard way. i have just sim card problem. and go to apple store. after apple store my phone completely dead. they dont know what they do just care about your money. i was use with wifi almost a week and now i can not even power on. Thank you apple store for made my day. i was big fan of apple but i think so time to move another brand to make me happy. and hopefully they do better job.

The employees here are above all expectations. Our appointment for a minor MacBook repair was 15 minutes before the shop closes. They gave us enough time to describe the problem and moreover repaired the MacBook keyboard in 10 minutes. Amazing service!

Horrible experience! There’s nothing saying that you need to make an appointment to be seen. Since I was a walk-in, I waited 2 1/2 hours to be seen. Then when I checked in, they didn’t properly check me in, so after waiting 20 minutes, I finally got a text saying that I didn’t check in and was skipped over. I went up to the girl that “checked me in” and attempted to talk to her about this. She walked away. I went up to the other guy that was checking people in and made sure I was properly checked in. After another 20 minutes of waiting and actually seeing the guy come in for his shift I was finally taken care of. Keep in mind, it was for my husbands phone. He is a fire fighter and Parmedic. It’s hard for him to get stuff like this done. We have a 4 month old daughter. The guy told me if I want to wait around, should only take 3 HOURS!! I told him no thank you but I’ll come back tomorrow. He said ok and we’ll give you a call when it’s complete. I never got a phone call!! I called them, no joke, 10 times. I was either hung up on or it rang 5 times and then busy signal. Finally at 7pm I got someone and it had been ready all day. Hope everyone has a better experience, but I don’t plan on coming back anytime soon.

Worst customer experience, gave my mac to fix, attendant asked to take HD out as they take no guarantee of your data. Once fixed they charge $800/- i requested them to put the HD so that i can see my mac is working, they clearly denied, called manager he said we have so many customers, we can not spent any more time (Really !!! you charge $800/- for a $2500/- machine and now saying have no time.) I have never seen such a rude manager in my life, have no idea how apple is selecting them to run the store. Apple core values are around customer, if this is the behavior their customers are receiving, day is not far when people will stay away from buying apple products, at-least i will never buy any apple product.

My display on my iPhone crashed so I took it apple to see if they could help. It was a Saturday and it was packed. I see a lot of people getting angry and leaving the store when the employees tell them they needed to make an appointment and it’ll be a wait. I honestly don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t understand that walking into a PACKED PLACE. but anyways.. the way they have it set up is very organized and they will text you when your appointment is up. When it was my turn they were very responsive and helpful. I wish I remembered her name but she was very sweet and funny and told me I’d have to wait about 5 hours for them to restore my phone. Completely understandable! I came back to pick up my phone completely fixed! They even took the time to clean the phone itself it looked brand new!! To anyone that’s planning on making a visit to this store please understand that it’s going to be busy. The employees cannot control how many customers they get a day but they are VERY organized with how they handle the crowd control.

My computer wouldn’t let me reset my password so I had to visit the Apple Store to get it fixed. It was a a two hour drive to get there. Ryan went above and beyond and explained my options and worked through every possible solution for close to 3 hours. Unfortunately I had to reset my entire laptop but under normal circumstances I would be pretty upset considering I lost a lot of documents but knowing Ryan has been doing his job for more than 4 years I trusted him with that option. 04/20/17: The first employee asked for my phone number and email so we can book an appointment. (They texted us when our appointment was ALMOST ready) He had us wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes out of the store... it was ridiculous... because we had to wait another 30 minutes inside the store... Most importantly a second employee took a chair that my dad was sitting on and gave to another "client" when we were the clients too! My dad is handicap and he needed to sit, but the employee took it away with no sense of understanding... It's so ironic that the second employee had put the chair in an empty area. The situation itself was so unjust. It even had me thinking, was it because we were Asians? I was angered and couldn't help but cry in disgust. Which was why we walked out.

Made an appointment for an issue I was having with my laptop. When I was greeted at the door the gentlemen saw my device, looked it up, then told me it’s to old to fix (9 years old). I asked if they could at least try something/look at it, he said no. So after wasting my time driving there and back and not even being allowed to make it up to the geniuse bar, I looked at my laptop and just for giggles I plugged a mouse in just to see, and now it’s fixed. My mouse pad clicker had failed, that’s all. I guess I should be happy they wouldn’t even take the time to look at it, they might have charged my $$$ for a simple issue.

Arrived at the store to get a new phone battery. Checked and told to wander around the mall until we received a text. After half an hour received a text that stated we were endangered of losing our spot. Immediately went to store, checked in and were told we lost our place and had to wait another half hour. Showed them the text and they did not care. Rechecked in, waited another half hour, did not get anything, asked and were told to sit in the back and wait for someone to call us. Waited another 15 minutes and received another text that told us we lost our spot AGAIN! Asked an employee who was rude and would not listen or look at our texts!! Left the store totally frustrated and disrespected! A joke.

It took 1.5 hours to get in but we got a text that notified us when they were ready for us. The technition was very helpful and very kind. It was my 13 year old daughter's phone and when a repair could not be made, they replaced the phone and called our carrier to make sure the new phone was all set up.

This Apple Store wasted 4 hours of my life only to tell us that they wouldn't perform the repair. I'm certain that someone knew prior to the end of that 4 hour, but they had not taken an alternate number to contact us. Come on, Apple. That or have a web or app based solution that will give you the status of the repair ticket. I don't personally buy Apple products and this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Wanted to have them honor the warranty on silicone case for iPhone X. The first representative was useless. She literally was trying to use the numbers found on the inside of the case to track down the original order. She had no clue what she was doing. She told us to hold on a moment and we never saw her again. She was replaced by a morbidly obese blonde girl who, while checking the wear and tear on the case, grabbed it and made a tear/ crack in it right in front of me. She then claimed that Apple didn’t cover such damage, even though it was caused by her. I am appalled that a multi-million dollar company would stoop this low. Their representatives are pure trash and the company isn’t too far behind. They don’t honor warranties and they lie just to raise store sales. So instead of honoring the warranties for the products, they will claim that this sort of wear isn’t covered under warranty just so you can shell out more for a new case, or even worse, a new phone or computer.
