I went there and became astonished seeing there customer service. They were so friendly and very responsible to their work. They just took my laptop and repaired it with very carefully. From then it works very well and i am fully satisfied on this company.

Contacted Geek ABC after refurbished computer I brought off ebay had no picture. They offer free diagnosis so I left computer thinking it would be there for 2 to 3 days. 2.5 hrs later they figured out the problem and computer is working fine..I ask how much? Nothing! Under free diagnosis..WOW! These guys have it figured out! Highly recommend!

I shipped my laptop to my friend. During the shipping the touchscreen broke. There was a large crack on the screen and the touch sensitivity was gone. Geekabc replaced what they called the digitizer. Great work. Computer is working great now.

I went to GeekABC a couple years ago. Just thought I would support a local company instead of paying money to the big names. My experience with GeekSquad has been very poor. I went there once when there wasn’t any line or anything, no customers in sight, and they told me that I would need an appointment before they could even briefly look at my computer. GeekABC does not require appointments, it’s walk-in service, and their diagnostics are free so I gave them a shot. I’ve been very happy with their services in the past few years. In my most recent encounter with them they replaced the failing harddrive on my laptop with a brand new blazing fast SSD.

I brought in my Laptop and was given an estimated assessment time and was told the cost of the repair would be 40-80 dollars. It took them 3 days and 2 phone calls to get a final estimate, saying that it would cost almost the value of the computer to fix a simple problem with the computers hinges! Will not be using their services again.

Excellent Service, Fair Prices and Locally Owned! My computer stopped working while in the middle of taking a class with a deadline pending (of course it did...). Expecting to be told it was time to get a new computer (mine is 4 years old), I first took it to Best Buy and couldn't be seen without making an appointment. When I tried to make an appointment, I couldn't get anyone on the phone. So as I stood in line at a second Best Buy to see if I could 'muscle my way' into an appointment, I looked for other computer repair places in the area and found Geek ABC. They picked up the phone right away and Chris told me to bring my computer in that day. They had a diagnosis on what was wrong (new hard drive and RAM) and a price quote within 2 hours. It was fixed the next day with ALL OF THE DATA SAVED!!! Thankfully, no new computer needed and it is working better than before! I HIGHLY recommend this company!

These guys are great, first off let me say they did a FREE diagnostic. I brought my computer in because I was having issues charging my laptop. They took my computer, diagnosed it over a couple days and called me with a fix. Timing was efficient and service was actually fantastic. They went out of their way to call me and give minor updates. It made me feel as if they genuinely wanted to help me as a person and not as a customer. Matt went above and beyond for me, cant thank these guys enough. I wanted a custom built desktop for gaming. But, the process of assembly looks very daunting to me. I did not want to risk screwing up my components by installing incorrectly. I knew what parts i was going to get. GeekABC said that they will review the parts for compatibility and they will assemble the system for a fee. I bought the components online and took it to them and they assembled it. They did amazing cable management too. Very professionally done. Great service!

I've had drives fail over the years, and it usually means a full loss of anything I hadn't personally backed up. I upgraded to windows 10. But, a software that I primarily use this computer for had a completely changed UI. I don’t like the new UI for that particular software so I wanted to go back to Windows 7. After I downgraded to Windows 7 the computer started having a plethora of errors and bugs and the computer was basically unusable. GeekABC was able to fix my problems.

I have a razer blade gaming laptop that I use all the time, one day I flipped the screen up too hard and the left side of the screen came out of its hinges and just got stuck like that. After a quick google search for computer repair services, I found GeekABC so I gave them a try. I brought my laptop to GeekABC, they found out exactly which parts needed replacing, replaced them and my laptop looked factory new again! I would highly recommend them to anyone with computer issues.

I brought my damaged ASUS ROG GL502VT to this repair shop and it was a TERRIBLE experience. They took almost a week to look at the laptop for a free diagnostic. Then another week to let me know that they couldn't repair the laptop because they did not buy parts from China (this is a CHINESE made product mind you). They asked me repeatedly if I need data recovery and when I assured them I did not as I had all the data recovery hardware at my house. Obviously they were looking for a cheap buck. They charge more for data recovery than the cost of a usb hard drive reader on amazon. When I finally got my laptop back I found that they had not even opened it and hadn't done anything to diagnose the problem with the motherboard. One of the capacitors had blown on the board which I quickly noticed when I inspected it closely. Frankly, this place is a TERRIBLE computer repair store; They are only looking to make a quick buck off of unwitting customers. STAY AWAY!!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I was visiting relatives and my laptop completely stopped working and wouldn't even turn on anymore. I took it in for a free diagnosis, they said that it could be fixed, so I dropped it off and it was fixed within a few hours and I was up and running again. I travel a lot and ended up in Fairfax when my laptop crashed. Knowing nothing about Fairfax, I decided to look up near by places for computer repair centers. Although I saw a good few places, Geek ABC seemed to have the best deals on repairs, so I decided to take it to them. When I arrived at their location, I was assisted by a really friendly guy. He was very knowledgeable and assisted me right away with the laptop situation. It didn't take him long to figure out what had happened with the laptop. Geek ABC is simply amazing, they were able to get my laptop fixed before I left Fairfax the next day and they were able to explain the situation in terminology I would understand. On top of that, they recommended a few things for my laptop, that would speed up my laptop. So far, I have not had another issue with my laptop and it runs great! I am happy with my decision of getting it fixed with Geek ABC.

One of the laptops in my house was not connecting to my wi-fi network. It was really bizarre because it was connecting to wi-fi in other places, just not in my house. I called GeekABC and they told me that based on the symptoms it is an issue with the network and not the computer itself. They suggested on-site support. A tech was appointed to come over the very same day. He came in only an hour. He did a bunch of techie stuff that I have no clue about and my laptop started connecting to the wi-fi. Mac Book Pro repair: The price was good and the 7 day repair (hard drive replacement and reload) where also reasonable. Some improvement on communication would be beneficial. Room for improvement would also include ensuring that the basics of computer security are in place when the product is "ready" for pick up. My firewall was not activated and I was not able to download any third party programs. I needed to research how to go into the terminal mode and modify the Gatekeeper with command line code in order to allow me to load Firefox and Google Chrome. If turning the Firewall on is not included in the price of service I believe that I should have been notified as this is a critical aspect of using the internet in today's age.

My computer got some virus infections. I did a system restore to a really old restore point, but afterwards there were some bizarre issues I was experiencing. No application would open and it showed an error when opening .exe files. Geekabc’s diagnostics found that OS got corrupted during the system restore. They did a refresh of the OS to remove the corruption and now the computer works great.

My desktop that I bought from iBuyPower was making a weird buzzing noise after years of use. This was a very reliable desktop and I was concerned. Geekabc’s free diagnostics found out that the water cooling pump was behaving abnormally which was causing the issue and might cause overheating if left unresolved. I've been in the U.S. for 2 years, at the very beginning I visited Geekabc for printing. There was an Asian lady, just for 2 pages, she charged me $7. As I mentioned I was fresh and didn't know well about prices. Anyway, just a few days after that I went to FedEx and for more than 10 pages they charged me something around 60 pennies. I was so frustrated when I realized that Geekabc charged me more than 100 times.

I deleted some files on my computer to make space. I must have deleted some stuff I should not have because I was getting error messages whenever I tried to open any applications and none of my applications would open up. GeekABC said that I deleted some Windows system files and as a result I have an operating system corruption. Since Windows is stopping their free Windows 10 update service soon I decided to upgrade to Windows 10. After I upgraded, my computer was going haywire. Most programs were not working and error pop-ups abound. What a nightmare. GeekABC said that Windows 10 is a great operating system but the normal upgrade process if buggy. They said they could back up data and perform a clean install of Windows 10. They did so and Windows 10 is working great now on my machine. I’m glad I trusted them; Windows 10 is indeed a very nice operating system. I’m happy with it. I only wish Microsoft would fix their buggy upgrades so that I wouldn’t have had to go through this problem.

I spilled soda on my brand new 15inch MacBook Pro with touchbar , the touchbar itself stopped working. Apple quoted me an expensive $1400 to get it repaired which is about how much the computer worth. I called around and nobody wanted to repair this computer being so new. With no hope I called geekabc fairfax and after a couple days of diag, GUESS WHAT !!!! I got a call from my computer technician and he quoted me $485 which he could’ve charged me a lot more because this model is much more complicated compared to other MACs. The guy at the fairfax location is super friendly “ sorry I forgot your name “. EXCELLENT BUSINESS !!! HONEST BUSINESS !!!! 10 STARS !!!

My Acer laptop was going wrong: arrow keys weren't working, I had lost some of the keys along the bottom row and certain commands didn't work at all. Not only was it a problem, I couldn't access most of my files. They identified the problem as circuit based and sorted something and now all the keys work again. They've also showed me where to get an external hard drive to back up my computer in case anything happens to it again! Thank you so much, you're life savers!

I was staying with a friend in Fairfax for work business before a short trip to DC when the wifi on my computer stopped working complete. I had a minor freakout until my friend told me about GeekABC. My laptop kept overheating and shutting down. It was telling me when I rebooted that the problem was that it was overheating. I thought I was going to have to buy a new laptop so I was freaking out. I called them and they came right out. The immediately told me it was the fan going out. They ordered one came back this next day and installed it with in 10 minutes. NOT SATISFY AT ALL!! Do not try their service!! I had a custom built computer with completely new parts. I built the case perfectly. I just didn’t know how to connect the power to the motherboard and for this reason the computer was not turning on. These people charged me 90 bucks just to tell me if everything was OK with the parts!! Ridiculous! However I told them all the parts are completely new. I’m a student and I saved my money to build this Computer. After three days wasting my time they told me they want 150 bucks more only to connect the power to the motherboard! this is ridiculous. I can’t believe they took my money and did nothing. Finally I took my case without resolving the issue. They will charge you extra for no reason. All I can say is that they took my money and did nothing!!

My computer was stuck at 99% when I was upgrading to Windows 10. I mean totally stuck! It wouldn't go past 99% even running overnight. Apparently the operating system can get corrupted during the upgrade process sometimes. Geekabc was able to load a fresh version of Windows 10. The computer is working great now.

Geek ABC welcomed and asked me what my issue was. I wanted to upgrade my desktop and my HDD was seriously damaged. My PC was running very slowly. I just told them what I need. I called on Geek ABC to help me get a virus off my laptop, which totally messed it up. I’m not very clued up where this stuff is concerned and I was quite anxious as I have a lot of important stuff on my laptop. I'm a long time customer of GeekABC and have sought their services for a number of different hardware related issues over the years. One of my older laptops was making a weird clicking noise and was running extremely slowly. I noticed that GeekABC opened a new store closer to where I live in Fairfax so I decided to check it out. I underwent the same procedure as I usually do of giving them my contact info etc. They told me that my laptop's hard drive was going bad which was resulting in the slowness. They told me that they keep new hard drives in their stocks so the hard drive replacement was incredibly prompt! I got my laptop back with new hard dive installed after just two days. I'm no longer plagued by slowness or weird noises. Great company, great service.

I reformatted my external harddrive by mistake when I was trying to use it as an installation media. All of my data was gone from the external drive (Almost 2 TB)! I thought the data would never be recoverable, but Geekabc was surprisingly able to recover all of my data. I'm very happy.

During the snowstorm I was walking outside and my laptop was in my bookbag. I did not predict that all the snow would seep through my bag fabric and get on my laptop. My laptop got wet and it was not starting anymore. Geekabc was able to repair it by replacing the damaged motherboard. I'm very grateful.

I was visiting Washington DC for work, at the end of January,when the power connector on my laptop broke. Lucky for me thanks to the help of my hotel concierge, I was able to find a local computer repair company (Geek ABC) to come and fix it.They took it to their shop and replaced the power jack in less than two of days as I had to head back to London ! My laptop is powering and charging now. Great customer service and fast repair, I would definitely recommend Geek ABC to everyone !
