This was the worst possible experience I've had with a store. I had a macbook air 2013 that traded I in because my eyesight is poor for a paltry $400 toward a 2012 15 inch macbook "pro". Nathan (the computer technician) sold me on the price because I recently lost my job. Once I got home and loaded my stuff the computer was almost unusable. Apps took 1-3mins loading (trust me I checked). When I took it back in, a new technician, Dorian, found out that the software that was running on it was too advanced. He downgraded to another OS and it still would not cooperate. After fussing with the "owner" about how it was unacceptable he tried to sell me a 13 inch macbook air that was in poor condition. The sd card slot was bent and would not fully close. I've spent many hours in the store trying to rectify the situation but I was left with the 13 inch Air because I was outside of my return time-frame.The technician, Dorian was great and I wish I spoke to him before making the initial purchase. DO NOT GO TO THIS EXPERIMAC. GO TO THE ONE DOWNTOWN ON MAIN ST!!!!

I took my MacBook Pro to two other Apple Authorized facilities and one wanted to charge $800 + for the repair with no guarantee of it being fixed. Another couldn’t figure out what was wrong and gave up. Experimax saved me 1/2 the cost and fixed two different laptops. I won’t take my computers anywhere else.

My iPhone 8 would not charge nor turn on , I was told Over the phone that it would be looked at the same day and that they fix those types problems everyday . After I arrived I was told to pay a deposit and they would have my phone shipped off to be repaired and it would be back within 2 weeks . I asked why couldn’t it be fixed there and he told me that “ everyone “ in the area ships them off . This was false , I went up the street to fruit fixed and had my screen and battery replaced that same day

The guys here at Experimac have helped me so much to keep my stuff running at tip top shape. I had a Macbook Pro that failed recently. I brought it to the Apple Store and they said it was a bad hard drive, so I replaced it with an SSD drive. However, it still didn't work and then the Apple Store said it was a bad logic board and would cost an additional $600 to replace. I decided to try Experimac and couldn't be happier. Ryan diagnosed the problem and found microscopic corrosion on the logic board which he cleaned. He then reloaded the OS and was able to save and transfer all my data from the original drive. Total cost $140. They are highly competent and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I dropped my iPhone into the water. After researching shops in the area that fix iPhones I came across Experimac. I called and was able to come in and have a diagnosis in just a few minutes. They did everything they could to fix it, but unfortunately it was beyond repair. The prices are what phone repairs should be instead of the marked up prices of what you would pay at an Apple Store or Sprint repair. The customer experience and professionalism at the shop was worth the trip alone.

Agent installed windows 10 on my HDD which had data on it instead of the SSD drive, which I discovered had nothing on it. I brought the 1Tb SDD drive to take place of the 256GB SDD I had in my prior computer with the HDD. The HDD is a backup drive of video and photos I had photographed and videotaped over the years. Luckily, I backed up all of my photos and videos to an offline storage drive on the 29th of April. Using recovery program to see what other documents I may be able to glean though it anyone guess if it will be successful. This company may be more geared towards Apple products, hence, the name, Experimac. On a positive note, he gave good tips on more efficient cable management and air distribution logistics. Those were pluses.

My phones vibrating sounded like something was loose or buzzing so I took it in to get it looked at. They fixed it within an hour and it just happened to be some loose screws in the phone! They charged me $25 to open it up and take a look. I had taken it to Apple the day before and they told me it was a hardware issue and that they could replace it for around $300. Awesome and fast customer service! Would definitely recommend!

visited this store 3 times now.... twice for two different macbook pro's (water damage on one, screen damage on second) and once for a smashed ipad screen (thank you 2 year old son....). I had really great experiences all three times. Due to age of computers, I opted to not have them fixed but to have data transfered to another device. However, the ipad, works just like new! All three times, the price was very fair. I think it is likely I will be back in the near future, most likely due to another toddler damaging something for me! Overall, I am really happy with the service and results!

I had to come in twice for a screen repair due to unsatisfactory the first time. They apparently have two types of iPhone screens in inventory, and the first one was noticeably lower in quality. I came back, and the tech communicated that he used a higher quality screen that would normally cause more (sketchy) this time. Comparing this to an authentic iPhone screen, you can still spot a difference in brightness and resolution. Additionally, my phone that I had repaired died a week later due to what Apple deemed as a hardware issue. With the price that they charge and the quality of work, I would not recommend.

he is a liar and he will say anything to get your money and show that he done the best for you but in fact he he just want to take your money and anything you have doesn't work so he buy it from you dirt cheap to make more money of it .he hold my laptop for 5 days and told me he got the part for it to fix it and he put it together when I went home my laptop fall a part and i found out he just put electric black tape all round to hold everything together while he said he use best glue and fix it everything. Basically I have paid $200.00 for electric black tape .

Not always having the best experience at the Apple Store in Short Pump and even with making an appointment you still have to wait for hours and spend more money than you expected, I wanted to go somewhere else when my macbook pro would not longer charge. I came to Experimac after reading all of the reviews, the staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable and knew right off the bat what was wrong with my computer. They had it ready for me in two days and the price was very reasonable. If I have any other mac issues along down the line I will absolutely go back!!
