Unfortunately, 5 stars are the highest I can rank Experimac Fredericksburg. This store completely understand customer service and deliver at a high level! I brought my father's computer in for a repair. The machine was not repairable but they were able to salvage the hard drive for me. They went over and above the call of duty by mailing the drive to me as I went back to my home and was not available to pick the drive up. I've used Experimac in Texas and they also have a culture of quality customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend them, I already do!

I love this store. EVERY single time I come in they are all always so nice and friendly. I purchased multiple items from here and they take the time to answer all my many questions for me. They don’t hound you for a sale which is really nice. They greet every person I see coming in with a smile and welcome to the store. Not every company can say that. Their customer service is great and the prices are much more affordable than buying Apple products elsewhere. I finally switched from a PC to a Mac today. Due to intense work with Adobe Illustrator (and it’s frequent disk access) I decided to switch out the HDD in my iMac 5K 27” with a SSD. Excellent interaction, timely process, friendly and knowledgeable staff, AND reasonable prices. And I lucked out with the disk cloning in that NOT ONE of my apps needed reinstallation or recertification (or whatever) when I got home! What more could you want?

Search no further for your computer/phone needs! I thought I had lost my 34,500+ photos and videos when my hard drive crashed in the wind storm (and it was on a surge protector). Gabe and his entire staff was calm (I definitely wasn't') cool, and knowledgeable. They were able to recover my data and made my computer even better- and quickly! Highly recommend.

Got my iPhone’s screen fixed here today and the manager, Oliver, went above and beyond in the service he provided. I had previously gotten my screen fixed at another local place and they told me my Touch ID was simply permanently broken. Experimac in Fredericksburg today not only fixed my screen but also fixed my Touch ID in the process no extra charge. When I bought an adhesive screen protector at checkout they offered to apply it for me simply as a complimentary service and did it while I waited. The entire staff is extremely professional and helpful and the service was fast. I’ll never take my electronics anywhere else to get fixed. Thank you guys so much!!

I do not give out 5 star ratings very often, but the folks at Experimac in Fredericksburg deserve one. Took my NON IPHONE Samsung to them based upon a recommendation. Very professional from start to finish, very quick to deal with my problem. They had to order a part, got it, installed it, called me and told me that the part was bad, my phone was only partially functional but I could take it while they ordered a replacement part. They had the part overnighted, fixed my phone, fixed some ringtone issues I had (for free), put a new screen on it and got it back to me in perfect shape. They were very good with keeping me informed, doing what they could to speed things up, and the price was much, much better than the quote I got from another place with a 2 day turnaround. Experimac did it in 2 hours (well, if the part had been good). Friendly, professional, helpful people and a very good price. Does not get any better in my view.

I had previously called Apple Support and although everyone there was very patient and polite they ( five different experts) they were unable to help me resolve my computer issues and referred me to the Apple store nearest to my home. These reviews must be fake. I took my iPhone 7 in for a new screen and they ended up breaking it even more. Apparently the "contract" they had me sign makes them not responsible for any damage they might cause during the repair. So now I have a new screen but my phone doesn't even turn on any more and they can't fix it. Their solution was to go directly to apple. Buyer Beware.

If you are looking for iPhone repair, iPhone water damage repair or any mobile phone repair in Fredericksburg, or Eastern Virginia this is the place to go. I was looking for an authorized apple repair center in Virginia Beach or Hampton Roads after being told it would be “impossible” to recover photos from iPhone after it took a swim and wouldn’t turn back on while on vacation. Apple Store wouldn’t touch it. Best Buy wouldn’t touch it. I couldn’t find any recommended places in Southeastern Virginia but Experimac in Fredericksburg was so highly recommended by the professionals I did speak with that I made the drive and am so glad I did. The Experimac team went above and beyond and was willing to do everything they could to recover these priceless memories (iCloud hadn’t backed up since we had departed). Oliver was real, honest and kept me posted every step of the way during the phone liquid cleaning process. Under-promising and over-delivering in timeline, even working late. Would not hesitate to HIGHLY recommend.

Had about 30 viruses on my laptop. I brought it in and they were able to clear all of the malware and viruses the same day. Apple also had a warranty for the screen on my laptop due to "delamination". They made me aware of this and sent my laptop to Apple for no extra charge and the screen replacement was free through Apple. Overall great customer service, great prices. They charged me $100 for malware removal whereas Geek Squad wanted $150. Highly recommend.

I brought my MacBook Pro in after spilling an entire cup of coffee directly onto the keyboard. The entire area looked like an explosion in a Starbucks. There was coffee dripping from the keyboard, though my table onto the floor. I bought it in on a Friday morning and had it returned that night and fully functioning !! I previously did a "NO-NO" by trying to turn it on after my pitiful attempt at cleaning it. To top it off they called me after a few weeks to see how it was still going ! Through out every one I was in contact with was professional and friendly, A definite 5 stars recommendation !!!!

Amazing People!!!!! They Fixed my laptop fast!!!! I run my company from my laptop, when it broke it killed our ability to keep up with our work load. So much better then going to Apple store or somewhere else. They were not trying to sell me a bunch. Just got to the root. They had cases for my laptop... I work out of my truck. This laptop takes heavy punishment. This case is amazingly protective!!! The best part was I could touch and make sure the case worked without waiting for shipping or anything else. My iMac has been dying a slow death over the last few years, and I really didn't have the money to buy a new one. I wandered into Experimac one day to ask if there was anything to be done. I talked to Gabe Miccio, who assured me that I could probably just replace the hard drive to get it back up to speed. Literally. I took it in, they replaced it, charged me less than 1/4 of the price of a new one, and my iMac is back to normal. Very knowledgeable staff, excellent service, more than reasonable prices. All my files transferred over, even my 16,000 photos. I could be happier. Tell your friends! So much easier than traveling out of town to an Apple store. Can't say enough good things!

I am not savy on tech products and usually find myself at the mercy of the advice of the hourly workers at the big box retailers...only to leave more confused and with a product that is overpriced and not exactly what I want....thank goodness for Experimac. Not only did I get an incredible deal on my son's IPhone but they acutally took the time to help me with my technical questions and gave me some great advice on how to use it and the accessories that he may need. THEY ARE AWFUL! THEY DESTROYED MY SON'S MAC DESKTOP - THEY TRIED TO REPLACE HIS CRACKED SCREEN WITH A BAD SCREEN THEN REALIZED THEIR MISTAKE SO THEY PUT THE OLD SCREEN BACK ON. My Iphone battery was dying and I refused to dole out $600 or more for a new phone. $50 and 45 minutes later I have a new battery and a fully functioning phone. It's acting like it's brand new. Really had a great experience with the staff and the quick turn around on replacing my battery. Definitely recommend this as a solution to the Iphone battery slow down issue

I have had a great experience with the Fredericksburg, Experimac store. I've been waiting for quite awhile for some MAC expertise to come into our area. I had a solid state hard drive installed in my laptop and it was a seamless transition. All my records, photos, data, etc. were transferred without a hitch in one day. (I actually sold them a laptop and phone to help defray the cost). I went back a few days later to ask for some advice about using Google Photo on my three devices. In each instance, both Gabe and Will treated me professionally and were very easy to work with. Now, if only I can get them to teach some classes!

If you live in Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania or the surrounding area don't drive to the Apple Store in Richmond or Woodbridge. Take your Mac to Experimac if you have any problems. I spilled water on my Macbook Pro and the Apple store told me they couldn't help me because it was liquid damage. Luckily I found Experimac in Central Park and they brought my Macbook back to life! They also worked on my 2012 IMac and it is like new again. Amazing customer service and reasonable prices. Thanks so much!
