I'm guilty of not doing this review in a timely manner but wanted to give credit where it's due. They gave me a written estimate on what appeared to be a dead "black screen" screen. My computer had been quite expensive and I had already taken it in to another known name and called Samsung about cost to fix, Both places quoted $500. plus. Though the laptop had cost over a thousand-- that's a lot of money to put into repairing it. I left my computer with them for repair. The first screen ordered came in and had a small crack- they offered my computer "for use with the cracked screen" while waiting on a new one to come in. I chose to let them just hold on to the laptop and make needed repairs. They changed screens - did necessary work and were within a few bucks of the initial estimate. Great job. It is great to do business with a small business who is local. Will be taking an Asus in for some help today!

I had a screen replacement in a Galaxy S5 back in January 2016. I kept waiting for a screen to come in, but they were delayed to the snow storm. I called on a Friday afternoon, and they had 1 screen that was white, which is what I needed. I couldn't get there right away because my kids were going to be getting out of school. They said they'd hold it for me until 4pm. When I got there, I was told 1 hr. In 40 minutes I got the call that my phone was finished. It has worked fine ever since. I would recommend them to anyone and would use their services again.

So I took it to the Fanelli Brothers and Adam the assistant manager took less than 10 minutes and fixed all the issues the other place had caused with my phone! I wanted to tell you about the terrible experience we had tonight, Saturday February 24, at the Fanelli Boys Inc at 2399 Meadowbrook Mall Bridgeport WV, 26330. My husband and I walked up to the booth at approx 7:30 p.m. to buy a replacement phone for him. We have Boost Mobile already & actually have been to this kiosk before, with great results. We knew exactly what we wanted, a LG Tribute HD, and located one in the case. When I asked to purchase it, we were refused service because he had to many repairs to make for the evening. He suggested that we come back tomorrow and I let him know that we were from out of town, about 60 minutes one way, and didn't often make the trip to the mall. He then suggested that we travel to another boost mobile store close by and get the phone there. Since we were not local, we didn't feel comfortable trying to find a store in an unfamiliar place. I again asked to purchase it and said that we just needed the phone & I would set it up ourselves. He was unable & unwilling to help us. This was extremely frustrating and we really could hardly believe that they were refusing paying customers.

So they overnighted the loud speaker. the next day I show up at 8:23 to have speaker put in and was denied service because of the time. I work over the road and long hours. Being 1000 miles from home it's really frustrating when you can't get the help you need.

I was given a pretty accurate price estimation and told it would be about a 3 to 5 day wait for the part to come in. When I dropped it off, the technician I spoke to was super helpful and mentioned it could be done by the next day at best if not within the 3 to 5 days as noted above. To my surprise, I did in fact receive a call the next day letting me know the phone was ready to be picked up. It was in perfect condition and looked like new again. Definitely pleased with the service I received!

The biggest waste of time and money. I took my son's water damaged phone to the Meadowbrook Mall location. I was optomistic but realistic. It was a last resort before purchasing another phone. I opted to have them clean and perform a diagnostic on the phone which I was told would cost $35 and would take one or two days. They kept the phone for approximately one week. The technician told me the phone needed a new screen and a new battery. According to their tech, the test performed on the phone after the new screen and battery indicated the phone was operable and in good working order. I was told by the first technician the repairs would cost an additional $120.00 for the screen and battery. I asked three times if that was the correct amount and I was told yes but that total did not include tax. I agreed to the repairs and the amount quoted.The phone took an additional two days due to waiting on a new screen. According to the tech they test the phone with test parts and then replace them with new ones if the repairs are sanctioned. After the agreement was reached, the techs called to get my son's password so they could test the software. I provided it and once again repeated the price quoted to me prior to pick up. At that time, the tech tried to up the price by an additional $70.00. I told them emphatically I was not paying an additional $70. Apparently, the first screen ordered was broken so in essence they tried to charge me for two screens.. After a small argument, they agreed to the original price of $120. This put the total at $155, a little under what I could buy a new 5C for online. I picked up the phone and the tech showed me the phone and told me they had tested the phone and it worked perfectly, they also mentioned the parts were warranted for 6 months and any issues involving those parts would be repaired and replaced at no additional cost. Too good to be true. That evening I took the phone home and plugged it into the charger. To my dissatisfaction, I found that the phone was not showing that it was charging. After several hours of being plugged into the charger, the phone still only showed the battery being charged 7%. I called Fanelli Boys the following morning, less than 24 hours after picking it up, and told them about my issue. The tech said to bring it back in and they would check the battery. I took the phone back that afternoon and waited for approximately 30 mins. while they worked on the phone. They showed me that the battery worked and said no problem, the phone should work fine. I took it home and kept an eye on the charge for 24 hours. It appeared ok. My son was out of town so it was approximately 4 days later before he got home and started pulling items off of his icloud. The phone began powering off while he was using it even though the phone showed a charge. This happened numerous times within 30 minutes of use. I called Fanelli's the next day and told them of our dissatisfaction considering they assured me that they had tested the phone on numerous occasions and it was functioning properly, I was told to once again bring the phone to them. I did as asked and was told they needed to keep the phone overnight. The next day a tech called and said it would take another couple of days to test the phone. On the second day I called for a status and was told the phone needed additional work and that now the phone would not even power on. Needles to say I was completely dissatisfied. I saw it as a way to milk more money out of me for repairs that may or may not work. I was assured at first that after much testing it was proven that the phone only needed a new screen and battery. Since they had it for a total of 10 days you would think they would have tested the phone long enough to know if it worked or not. We tested it for only a few minutes and found it did not work so what was the problem that Fanelli's Techs could not figure it out. Had to fight to get any refund. Had no problem paying $35 for initial testing. Ended up paying $68 and refunded me $96.

I had no idea I could go from a completely shattered and almost useless phone to having it back within only a few hours. The biggest waste of time and money. I took my son's water damaged phone to the Meadowbrook Mall location. I was optomistic but realistic. It was a last resort before purchasing another phone. I opted to have them clean and perform a diagnostic on the phone which I was told would cost $35 and would take one or two days. They kept the phone for approximately one week. The technician told me the phone needed a new screen and a new battery. According to their tech, the test performed on the phone after the new screen and battery indicated the phone was operable and in good working order. I was told by the first technician the repairs would cost an additional $120.00 for the screen and battery. I asked three times if that was the correct amount and I was told yes but that total did not include tax. I agreed to the repairs and the amount quoted.The phone took an additional two days due to waiting on a new screen. According to the tech they test the phone with test parts and then replace them with new ones if the repairs are sanctioned. After the agreement was reached, the techs called to get my son's password so they could test the software. I provided it and once again repeated the price quoted to me prior to pick up. At that time, the tech tried to up the price by an additional $70.00. I told them emphatically I was not paying an additional $70. Apparently, the first screen ordered was broken so in essence they tried to charge me for two screens.. After a small argument, they agreed to the original price of $120. This put the total at $155, a little under what I could buy a new 5C for online. I picked up the phone and the tech showed me the phone and told me they had tested the phone and it worked perfectly, they also mentioned the parts were warranted for 6 months and any issues involving those parts would be repaired and replaced at no additional cost. Too good to be true. That evening I took the phone home and plugged it into the charger. To my dissatisfaction, I found that the phone was not showing that it was charging. After several hours of being plugged into the charger, the phone still only showed the battery being charged 7%. I called Fanelli Boys the following morning, less than 24 hours after picking it up, and told them about my issue. The tech said to bring it back in and they would check the battery. I took the phone back that afternoon and waited for approximately 30 mins. while they worked on the phone. They showed me that the battery worked and said no problem, the phone should work fine. I took it home and kept an eye on the charge for 24 hours. It appeared ok. My son was out of town so it was approximately 4 days later before he got home and started pulling items off of his icloud. The phone began powering off while he was using it even though the phone showed a charge. This happened numerous times within 30 minutes of use. I called Fanelli's the next day and told them of our dissatisfaction considering they assured me that they had tested the phone on numerous occasions and it was functioning properly, I was told to once again bring the phone to them. I did as asked and was told they needed to keep the phone overnight. The next day a tech called and said it would take another couple of days to test the phone. On the second day I called for a status and was told the phone needed additional work and that now the phone would not even power on. Needles to say I was completely dissatisfied. I saw it as a way to milk more money out of me for repairs that may or may not work. I was assured at first that after much testing it was proven that the phone only needed a new screen and battery. Since they had it for a total of 10 days you would think they would have tested the phone long enough to know if it worked or not. We tested it for only a few minutes and found it did not work so what was the problem that Fanelli's Techs could not figure it out. Had to fight to get any refund. Had no problem paying $35 for initial testing. Ended up paying $68 and refunded me $96.

I was very happy with the way David was able to help me out with my phone screen. I had no idea I could go from a completely shattered and almost useless phone to having it back within only a few hours. By him being able to fix it, it saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to get a completely new phone. Friendly and very quick service there, and I do plan on coming back for any other fixes.
