REVIEWS OF Apple University Village IN Washington

Apple stores are always welcoming to a wide range of people. The U Village store is spacious with a great outdoor area with comfortable chairs. The staff is helpful and I'm never bored if I have to wait for a Genius.

Kenneth Sayers

Really nice clean neat Place umbrellas to use when it rains wonderful shops especially when you don't spend any money hardly Great walking

Lucas Beidler

Have never had an experience at this store that hasn't left me unsatisfied and frustrated. Last visit, I wanted to fix a weak connection in my charger. If they wouldn't fix it I'd at least ask for some electrical tape to do it myself. They couldn't provide me with either; such simple requests, and they couldn't fulfill them. The most recent visit, I had tol wait 40 minutes to pick up the iPhone Xr I'd spent $1000+ on. The T-Mobile plan was under my mom's name and even though all the other information was mine and I bought the phone, i had to call my mom during her work and she had to call Apple support to fix it so I could pick up my phone. Every visit I have made to this store has been utterly horrible, never come to this store. In fact, I would say avoid Apple whenever possible.

Stephanie Maurer

Jordan is amazing. So helpful and very pleasant to work with.

Missy Anne

This beautiful giant Apple shop was def a creative work. They have a giant tree

SANG HAN

Stylish outdoor mall, if one calls it that.

Sundaram Subramanian

I showed up late for the battery replacement appointment because there was no parking available [15 min delayed] and then had to wait in the queue to be directed though i have an appointment. I understand their perspective but Apple can either hire more support engineers for the battery replacement. I drove for 1 hour and was sent back. Battery replacement made hardest possible and their support does not consider customer convenience.

Matthew

An incredible piece of architecture. Each time I visit I am enamored with the sheer size and beauty of the building. Even if you’re not an apple fan, you can appreciate the solid design and fun experience of walking through. When all of the doors are open it transports me to Italy - love it! The customer service has always been spot on for me as well.

Daniel H.

An outdoor shopping experience that offers national and local establishments. A very pleasant stroll along well manicured landscapes and water features makes for an enjoyable sit between shops. Christmas time is always a treat with lights and music that make for a magical holiday shopping endeavor.

Ric Mayer

Handled my item return quickly and smoothly.

It’s definitely with coming to amazon books store

Don’t expect customers to make appointments, and your “technicians” make us still wait!!! When I show up on time for my appointment, I expect Apple to show up to the appointment and see me at my appointment time!!! Don’t overbook people for appointments If you can’t set them when they book their f*king appointments. Waste of time! They don’t have times for walk-ins which is understandable. That’s why I made an appointment to be seen right at my damn appointment time!

Tyler Manuel

Pretty cool space! Lots to see, and do. Classes are fun to watch and attend. The layout is open and modern. Lots of samples of accessories and other technology to play with and get a feel for if they are something you want. Customer support can get busy and you may have to wait for one to open up. Overall a cool experience and friendly space to experience the latest Apple gear and accessories...or technologies like drones and robotic kits.

Charles Kooperberg

Left my laptop for battery replacement on Wednesday. Told them that I absolutely needed the laptop back by Monday noon. Laptop worked fine otherwise. Hadn't heard anything on Monday AM. Called them up. They had found a problem in the system board on Thursday (4 days earlier) and not even yet called me. Mind you - before they opened the laptop the system board was fine. They are still working on it - and are not willing to give me any substantial discount. The staff in this store cannot be trusted.

This location is less like a serviceable store and more like a tourist attraction. It is a giant store with a porch complete with rockers and a vibe of "Come on in and stay awhile!" But the downside of that is this makes getting in and out for a quick pick up or survey of inventory on hand is almost impossible. Anytome I've been here, it's been incredibly crowded and gives off the feeling of style over substance. In the case of this store, size does matter, and bigger is not always better.

Rev. Suzi Schadle

Outrageously fantastic Apple Store! Best I've been in so far.

The Stockingers

So many great stores. Like any "mall", there are duck ton of people and slow-moving cars, but they have been methodically adding parking structures over the last decade. It's a great place to spend some money and get good food.

Andre Garivay

Very helpful, I was in and out immediately

Dylan Vogel

Nothing too wrong with this location, however they did cancel an appointment on me without notification during the Seattle Snow of ‘19. Edit: and then also declined to accommodate a price adjustment suggested by Apple Support (as is their right, but, ya know) and theeeeeen they lost track of me after I checked in (I sat where they told me to) and forgot to deliver my repaired MBP for... a pretty long time. Basically I’m dinging them on having poor communication.

David Guinn

Always so crowded. If you are a people that likes a hustle and bustle when shopping you will feel at home. Unfortunately I am not. The shops are great though.

Neeraj Singh

Saw it from outside definitely want to go inside and have a look

Kara Beharry

First time to Seattle and this mall was walking distance from my hotel. This is a beautiful, high end, open air retail mall. Tons of options for shopping, dining (myriad of cuisines), and general merchandise browsing. Since I walked to this mall, I am unable to describe parking. But it is definitely a busy place. Evening time can get hectic, especially for restaurants. So my suggestion is come in a couple of hours earlier and explore. The landscaping of the area is really beautiful. The flowers, shrubs, and foliage were extremely eye-catching and appealing. One can simply buy a fresh baked good or ice-cream and just people watch and enjoy the ambience. I definitely liked the vibe of this mall and I encourage you to visit it.

Noah Bledsoe

I enjoyed the architecture and employees I just couldn't see myself owning such a niche brand of technology.

shaari strong

A great store they have everything and the staff is extremely knowledgeable worth the long ride

Ketan Agnihotri

Awesome place where you will find tech gadgets

Moazمعاذ Gutubقطب

The old gentle man and I took a course with the young man .. it’s nice to take Apple store courses ..

Jim Cox

The QFC store is a great place to shop. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

Muheng Seow

Really pretty architecturally. The store opens up into a spacious patio lounge area, and has multiple entrances. They seem to not have a lot of items in stock. I was there to look for a phone case but only about 10% of the cases on display were in stock. It seems like more of a gallery than a store.

pragnesh parikh

I really need to learn how to post without a star for places like this new apple store at the U village. Is my experience different than that at the apple store in Portland? Not really. I think it's attitude of staff or the greeters. How can a company like apple not evaluate customer experience as one walks in the store? I am forced to think- apple does not even care. With all the research and specialized services available to evaluate customer experience and money spent for the effort, there is no effort to help customers. Or it's the arrogance of the management ? What happened? My experiences at places like QFC or Seafood Market or any coffee place in seattle is far richer and friendlier then at apple stores.

Nicole Moxon

Not my cup of tea for shopping areas. It is definitely meant for the upper middle class to rich folk. Beautifully laid out (though hard to park) and I love the umbrellas every where for you to borrow between shops.

Sean Spencer

Busy and fun place to shop. Wonderful restaurants, near uw too.

Carl Burns

Was a beautiful outdoor mall that was luxurious, softly lit and felt safe. It was a very romantic atmosphere and I enjoyed my time at the mall.

I've made several trips to this store and am still making trips to this store (on my 5th visit now) for unsuccessful repairs on my laptop. I initially came in for a small crack on my screen (nothing huge). They decided to replace my current battery with a new one, except it was a bad one that couldn't hold a charge (yes, they tried to give me this back and claim it fixed). I took it back in a week later to get the battery fixed/replaced, and when I got it back, they replaced the mainframe (I admit I didn't really know what this was). I asked if the laptop worked this time, and they said yes, which was obviously a lie because the laptop couldn't even stay on for more than 10 seconds. I took it back in to fix this, and they claimed that it was a software issue (even though I told them another employee claimed it to be a hardware issue.) I sent it in again. And if you've made it this far, the ultimate reason for this post is for my very last visit. When I got it back, I asked to test it out before I left this time. Guess what, 10 seconds in, it died as it did before. When I let the apple support representative know, he said that he can't/won't do anything about it because HE didn't see it happen. Fortunately, we reproduced this problem within 2 minutes of him sitting there trying to get me to leave with a broken machine. I even asked why they decided to put certain parts in my laptop that I didn't not ask for, and they said that they don't even know. I've spoken to 2 separate managers, I've made 5 trips there now, I've had my computer completely wiped, and I don't know if I'll ever get my laptop fixed. Hopefully, the 6th time is the charm.

Daniel Zavala

Came in for a set appointment. Waited 30 minutes and then when I did a quick check in, they said I had been dropped from the queue. No apologies and then just made me wait another 20 minutes. All while being subjected to inane presentations on useless phone skills. The golden age of apple has definitely sunset.

Dexter Paul-Jones

Yoga pants and Uggs are spawned here. Don't run into a stroller it will cost your insurance 5k.

Dhruv Bansal

The store is modern and everything is layed out neatly.

Joe Hochwalt

Very helpful staff. My "genius" at the bar did a great job explaining what was up with my device and gave me great options.

ethyl johnson

meh. Used car lots treat people better. I am very disappointed in Apple and the direction in which they are going. Steve Jobs would be very disappointed.

Dustin Allen

I’d appreciate a “no star” option. Made an appointment for a battery replacement and wasn’t told until 10min after my appointment time that I wasn’t looking at a 2 hour turnaround. Why am I making this appointment if there’s that long of a wait for a half hour tops job? Apple as a whole needs work.

Emily Gussin

My phone had a bug/needed to be replaced. I am NOT tech savvy and the dude at the store offered to back up my 700ish photos to the cloud before wiping my phone. He did. So he said. Turns out, after getting my phone back and spending half an hour with tech support... all my photos are gone. Dude if you don’t want to be responsible for my content, don’t offer to do the back up for me. But if you do, do it correctly. I lost everything.

Isabella Brooks

Don’t expect to make an appointment and be seen on time, I waited 2 hours. The guy who helped me was super nice and fixed my problem quickly after the wait, but why did I schedule an appointment if I still had to wait 2 hours? Then a week later my computer has the same problem, I tried to bring it in first thing in the morning as I was told this would be the only way to guarantee no wait, and I was told there is already a 3 hour wait. The people who work there are nice and all but they need to hire more of the ‘genius’ staff so people don’t have to wait. It’s ridiculous to schedule an appointment and then have to wait 2 hours. Apple, you suck.

terry b

First and last time I will ever go to a apple store.waste of my time! Going to get a new iPhone and was told only can transfer data with iCloud. Just straight up lies. Will be going back to android.

Great mall and it has a Tesla store to boot!

Mark Galpin

Service was slow. Just wanted to buy something simple and get out and took a long time to get attention to pay.

chris N

Nice patio area in the front. Limited seating

Tim Eich

The store manager Jeremy was very nice and extremely helpful in resolving an issue with a phone case bought a few months back. Although we didnt get the exact resolution we were seeing when we entered, we were still satisfied with the result. We really appreciated Jeremy's patience and understanding.

Varun Jain

Apple Store at its best. Most items are usually available in the store (devices and accessories). Center of the mall. Parking is usually difficult to find around the store but ample parking around the mall. Some great presentations throughout the day about apple products or apps

Jeanne Ensor

I no longer shop there. They raised the rent on two of my favorite small business's. CHICO'S had to leave and now Impress. The stores that are left are big business. The cost of food there is outrageous. It is clear the Village will only cater to the rich. The parking is horrendous. It is no longer worth wasting my time there. I will not contribute to a big bussiness that has little respect for small business. Farewell.

Ryan S

The new building is not really any better than the old one. It may be bigger but just seems like a waste of space. Although it's a really nice building, I'd rather have the extra parking spaces that this building consumed. Employees are friendly. Pro tip: buy your phone or iPad at a Verizon or at&t store as it will be cheaper with the discounts they offer in store.

Thomas Preston

University village is a fun local spot that is a breath of fresh air from a mall if you like indoor & outdoor shopping for unique items! The only draw back is it's always busy but that could be a good thing if you wanna get out and be around a lot of people! They have a couple of parking garages so parking isn't a problem like it was in the past. A great place to shop, eat, visit and site see!

Justin Lin

Apple moved to a much larger space in U Village. This new place is very spacious for looking around and browsing the cool stuffs. They also have some live classes too. Last time we were here for a Face ID issue, we listened in on a photography class that tells you how to best use the iPhone camera. I’m sure there should be some sort of schedule you can check and come participate in the store. In addition to the store space, Apple also makes available a pretty good amount of space right in front the store glass doors for the shoppers to just sit and relax, complete with nice tables and chairs. If you are shopping around in U Village, definitely check this out.

Jessie Dye

Help desk was busy, hard to get appointment (s) and could not fix a Microsoft problem.

Don Garberg

Great shops and restaurants. But 4 instead of 5 stars because UV management kicked Atlas Foods out several years ago for not remodeling. It was our favorite restaurant.

Vurs Wahflez

Typical, exactly what you think. Nice to have a hub close to campus though.

Ian Harold

Service -phenomenal, listening skills and abilities to identify my problems - best of any service that I pay for, timelines- outstanding. I was helped immediately. Face ID problem- apple from a leadership stand point, is trying to make the client pay for the problem. Team was pidgin holed into few choices that do not satisfy my needs. Willing and able to change rating based on ability to problem solve and find a solution that is middle ground.

Cristina Nashman

So great to be here. Will come back

Craig Carey

What a beautiful mall. It’s almost Seattle’s version of “The Grove”. Really nice retail units here with a lot of attention to detail, and great store options. There’s also great food and drink options. Complementary umbrellas are available on rainy days. And the Restoration Hardware store - stunning. Particularly at night.

jeremy thaler

Very modern, large selection of retail and dining options. Highly recommend it.

Tewfik Boulenouar

Friendly staff, great meats, vegetables, good wine department. fish selection is a bit scant.

the andy olsen

Wow this place has changed significantly for the better since I used to visit it back in the early 1990s. Used to be a real scary area. now it's a fun, Posh, hip area that's fun to hang out in. Lots of great restaurants to choose from. Large selection of great stores as well.

Hunter Camfield

Princess and George were very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me through my iPhone problem and gave me loner phone while mine is getting fixed. I was nervous about coming in here but they made it super easy and continent! Thanks!

Laura Alexandra Roa Palacios

Worst experience with Apple I’ve ever had. In this branch, the service was slow, rude, and they have poor customer service. The sales associate was rude, standoffish, judgmental, condescending, and not helpful. Seemed annoyed when I was asking them about buying a MacBook Air 2018. When I bought the computer they didn’t give me a bag and they got mad when I asked for one. Apple should feel ashamed by the level of service at this store. The staff needs more training and they need to improve their sales skills. If you go there don’t expect any help, expect to be ignored repeatedly. I prefer to go to any other branch! from my experience; they have unprofessional employees it’s better to buy online or go to another branch.

martha garrett

The service was exceptionally bad. An associate came out with my I-phone newly repaired to the tune of $169.00. He then sort of showed me how to get set up again while talking to the man to his left. I had to wait three minutes before he would come back to my phone. And then, he asked me if he could help the man on our right for a quick minute. Well, it wasn't a quick minute so finally I grabbed someone off the floor to help me. She was great (Bailey sp?). She knew I was ticked off so she was very helpful. Someone should triple her salary. Long story short, I'll never go back to that store again. Apple needs a swift kick in the hind end.

Jake Nelson

Absolutely horrible customer care...this phone will be why I never buy another iPhone. I brought my phone to them for a battery change. It has only ever been worked on at Apple authorized places. Jeremy, a store manager, told me that my phone had a non-oem battery and that they won't change the battery or assist me in any way. He looked down on me for having "a phone that's nearly five years old". Apple please let this manager go he is going to ruin your reputation and lose you sales. Horrible experience. He did say to use iFixIt, which I never knew about, so if this doesn't work then expect a small claims filed against the store and this manager.

Benjamin Hayward

There was a class where they taught kids how to make emojis. I didn't attend, but I could hear it from outside. I hope the employees get paid well.

Lisa Loutzenhiser

Loads of fun. Big place outside spread out. Great selection of stores. Fran's, Crate and Barrel, many boutiques. Big selection of food. Lots of outdoor sitting. Free parking,

Sumit Chopra

The store is like any other apple store with plenty of various apple devices to try. But I found that the Apple Geniuses compared to other stores are less customer obsessed. I had a terrible experience talking to a rude genius at this store which was one of kind experience.

Lee Anne Caylor

OK - I know it is an outdoor mall - kind of.... but it is also a place the whole family can go - play, shop, have coffee. whoever designed this was genius. I love UVillage!

Sam Bolduan

The Apple store is well designed and well centralized in University Village. The employees are all very knowledgeable and are willing to help. I really liked the way everything is laid out but I found it often very crowded.

Dan Murphy

First time in the new store - quite a change from the stark gloss white of the old, smaller one. Drew helped me get two rather ancient MacBooks working during my Genius Bar Appointment, and also provided great guidance about my iCloud account.

Fenton Ameerally

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They constantly have free classes for free to use Apple products. Make sure you make an appointment for in store tech support. It’s near impossible to get help as a walk-in.

Federico Hernández

Lots of good restaurants and stores. Cute sculptures too :)

richard johnson

WHY DID YOU BUILD A NEW STORE, THE OLD ONE WAS FINE, IN FACT IT WAS BETTER. For me it had a more logical layout, electronics when you entered, helpful staff nearby, further on a place to check-in for an appointment. And the Genus Bar area near the back. It worked many times for me. The last time I was at the new store, I found it very confusing, and I spent a lot of time finding someone to help me. The whole place seems much more impersonal!

Omid R

Professional, polite, smart and friendly workers. The location is amazing and that is a huge store.Fast interent, charger, seats are available. They fixed my phone very fast and with smile. Room for improvment: the store is -for sure- under staffed.

Michael Miller

Awesome customer service. Beautiful store. A must visit.

Tim S

Very busy place. Limited parking. Lots of different stores. I was just visiting from out of town, but seems like a nice place to shop.

Chris McQuillan

Very nice, busy outdoor mall. Great local shops as well as national brands. Good restaurants too. Grocery store, drug store and liquor store all on the grounds as well.

hassan fakih

An open mall that is amazing and you find everything u want

Tony Hu

FaceID stopped working suddenly without any notice. Phone is in warranty period. Brought this up to the store and the technician took a long time to debug the issue. After waiting for 1 hour, the technician told me the defect is not covered by the warranty because liquid indicator was turned on. First, I have never poured any water on the phone. Second it is iPhone XS Max which is water resistant. Third why it took so long time telling me this issue

Luke Hartsock

U-Village is the best higher end retail spot in Seattle. The new Apple store is a work of Art, the food is good, the holiday vibe is wonderful. Little worried it's all chains & very few local shops, but they do a good job calling out & giving location based marketing to the local businesses.

Katelyn Dion

Called at ~6:30 to check their stock of new iPhones and was told there were phones in stock. Once I arrived I was told all phones had been reserved since 5:00. Frustrating to have made such a pointless trip.

WILLIE Y LIAU

Great atmosphere and professional services

Tod Rodman

Lots of great regional, local and national shops. Yuppie Heaven. Bring lots of money. Quite pleasant environment with easy and interesting walking. Browse, eat, and shop in comfort. Mostly covered open air venue... No big boxes, except the Apple Store which is a cool big beautiful box.

Eric Kai

Very trendy place. I feel younger even walking on the street of this university village. There are art pieces along the street. I am also very grateful for the free umbrella for share.

Noel Prince Devaneyan

Worst in store experience. Has been waiting for long time and the associate was not very helpful.

Cassandra Schoenman

I love this mall - I got every couple months for spa treatments. They have many stores that other malls don't carry like anthropology. 4 stars because the parking lot is a mess with one way lanes and I end up circling the area many times before finding a spot.. so I have to make plenty of time before an appointment.

John Kirkpatrick

Dan Murphy

Great mall with most of the stores that you could need. The Anthropologie was recently renovated and it gorgeous as well. It's a huge store now. Lots of parking with all the parking structures around the village - and apparently more on the way as well which will make parking super easy. It does get crowded during evenings and weekends so plan accordingly.

Bought an IPhone 7 which had a defective mic from an IOS upgrade. Known defective issue from Apple, but waited 3 hours for support and was told too bad you can pay for a replacement or an upgrade. Apple does not want to fix their own faults!

Is this even a store? The sheer lack of organization is impressive. I arrived knowing what I wanted and couldn't get anyone to recognize my existence, much less take my money. It seems to be staffed by gaze-avoidant 20-somethings who couldn't manage a queue at a deli counter.

Kuber Sharma

It’s fancy even by app,e store standards.

KatMat N

This is probably the best mall in Seattle area. They have all the traditional stores that are constantly adding newer and trendier stores. One of my favorite restaurants there is called veggies it's a vegetarian restaurant that I have not seen in many other places. They don't have enough parking. But it's a great mall for all age groups. And the restaurants are also outstanding there's a nice variety. It's too bad they don't have like an outdoor play area. They have these little pocket play areas the bigger one where people could sit at restaurants and eat would have been better.

jeff allison

Love the atmosphere in tne U district shopping area. Enjoy all the Apple products. They are easy to use and streamlined.

Lyman Frandsen

Nice place to go to to walk around and window shop. I love going to the Microsoft store and doing the VR headset it's a lot of fun. Also very clean I don't ever see trash lying around anywhere.

Preyas Joshi

Amazing store experience right in the middle of a vibrant U district shopping area, surrounded by great restaurants, and bars.

Grant Wheatley

Great place that has a little of everything, the qfc is pretty nice too

Dori Soup

Great vibes. The mall offers free umbrella rental if it starts to rain. (Just pick one out from a close by vase) very clean and fun to navigate. Cute little play area for younger kids. Easy to get to via bus.

My iPad Pro 12.9 1TB had dead pixels on arrival. Without hesitation they looked at it and replaced it. 10/10 service!

Franklin Furlong

The new larger Apple Store University Village is a beautiful and pleasant store to visit. It's new size relieves the overcrowding at it's previous location at University Village. The wall filling color screen is constantly displaying Apple's products, and it is where skills in using Apple products and services are taught in the Today at Apple Program. The busiest and most helpful area of the store in the central tables where you can sit and receive help with set-up of any product you just purchased. It is pretty much a decentralized genius bar, with no bar between you and the Apple Techs. There is no high pressure sales pitches from sales associates at this store. The quality of the product speak for themselves.

Seth T

Beautiful Apple store. Staff are always friendly and there are always plenty of employees to help the crowd. This store is always busy but you don't ever wait long. The service is pretty good for the high premium paid for the products. Only downside I would say about apple is that unless your product is fully covered by apple care you should really check out a small fix it place.

Ana Carolina Sauer Liberato

It use to be good, but not anymore. Too many people with rude staff. They sell computers that don’t work and don’t know how to fix it. Well, cross the street and go to Microsoft store, you will see how it is to be treated well and have good products that actually work.

Eric Willig

Excellent outdoor shopping ‘village’ (charming mall. Wonderful stores and restaurants. For many years we had a home within walking distance and we would walk down with our small children and they would play in the special play area - we’d then get a meal and/or buy a book or clothes and trek back. Their is a really good variety of restaurants and shops. We do not live in that neighborhood (or near it) anymore but still spend and afternoon or evening there about once a month.

David Camps

I originally plan an appointment for 3:00 pm today at the University Village in Washington State, on my way I was delay because of accident. From my car I called Apple Customer service and rescheduled the appointment for 5:00 pm. When I got to the Store at 3:30 pm they told me they have 20 people behind shecdule. Since they were delay, I asked them to reinstate my 3:00 pm appointment but they told me they couldn’t!!!!! Why? Really bad customer service. My point was that’s is if they had told me they were delay I will never cancel my original appointment at 3:00 pm but they didn’t, taking in consideration they have my email and phone number that not a professional behavior of Apple!!!!

Vijayakumar Maddikayala

I went to genius bar today at apple store in University Village, Seattle. I have iPhone 6 and I upgraded IOS to 12.2 and immediately I lost touch id access. I have tried multiple ways as mentioned in various web posts like cleaning home button, restoring from iTunes and multiple restarts. However I could not solve the issue. So, contacted apple care and set up appointment at this store. You know what this genius did, he just ran diagnostic and this showed Touch id has Redmark. That's it, then he suggested that I should replace the entire screen and that will fix Touch id problem and I should pay $129 for that. What the hell man.....! Your software caused the bug and you don't want to test your software, instead you want to fix the hardware which was working fine in earlier versions. You never test in backward compatibility when you work on upgrading the software. ..?? So, after disappointment from the store, I came back home and tried myself different ways. Tried to restore the phone. I restarted the phone in DFU mode and restored IOS again. Now, the hard lock on Touch ID is gone... Now Touch ID is working again in IOS 12.2 (saved $129 bucks) These geniuses at genius bar have to be really educated on thinking of solving the problem for the customer with all possibilities instead of just simply forcing the customers to buy replacements. @Apple directors/owners, you please educate your geniuses at genius bar at every Apple store to think of customer point of view and try to show some customer obsession or else your brand will be gone very soon. You can't live on your brand for ever...!

Erna Donner

Immediate assistance. I purchased a phone and received undivided attention as needed. My salesperson did move on before we we're finished moving data but the store was busy and I managed.

Patrick Conlan

This mall has a good range of shops but it's too 'Stepford Wives' for me to enjoy.

Matt Curry

Friendly staff however I came all the way from Blaine, WA hoping to find more of a variety of IPhoneXR phone cases(aesthetic) in Seattle and the very own Apple Store doesn’t have what I’m looking for. Their selection is very limited smh. If they supplied these cases I would come back.

Mo Lockwood

The new apple store has beautiful new floor to ceiling windows. It is much better than the old store with a nice outdoor seating are for hanging out as well.

Cynthia Slate

Too much white light, including up-lighting.

Judith Smith

Reps are nice and helpful. They could not help me with setting up my Metro account on my new phone. But its all good.

Ashley B

Drove all the way there to look at a MacBook & got there a little before close and a very rude lady shoved us out of the door saying we are closed when there was a lot of people in there finishing up. I told her I just wanted to look at something really quick and she was extremely pushy and had terrible customer service. Thanks apple.

Felipe Garcia Coni

The worst experience of my holidays took place in this apple store. I went to buy a phone and give mine as part of the payment. I had no backup so I went to a person who worked there to ask for help. She assured me she knew perfectly well how to do it, and that she had done it a thousand times. She asked me to delete everything in my phone after she "did" the backup, and I did so. When I got my new phone, I inserted my chip and apple account and found out it was empty. I asked her why this was happening, and she told me it could take 24/48 hours. Unsatisfied with the answer I got, I went to another person that worked there and he told me that was not true. I had no backup since 2016, and lost all my contacts, pictures, videos, notes, passwords, EVERYTHING because this woman did NOT do the backup in my phone as she told me. The next day, furious, I called the store, and talked with a supervisor, to see if I could find a solution. After an more than an hour of looking for a solution, he offered me an IPHONE CASE, a CASE!!!! I lost 3 years of information and he was offering me A CASEEEEEE. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH APPLE AND THEIR SUPPOSEDLY SUPER ATTENTION

Tom Kirkby

Rude staff that doesn’t try to help, just want to go home.

E Thomas

Cool place to hang for a bit if you have to. Coffee, food, and Apple store plus good burgers, ice cream and Amazon books!

Sachin Deshpande

It's good one, good shopping options loved apple and Microsoft stores and yeah Ram restaurant not to miss , GAP stores cool, big one , lobed it, can easily spend 3to4 hours

Austin Davis

It's fine. Just dont shop for too long, I got a parking ticket for excessive time (3 hours). I used to shop there regularly, but I avoid it now for that reason. Diamond Parking thinks I'm going to pay them $43 after spending about $1000/yr there over the last 4 years.

Eldridge McNair

Helpful staff. Will ask genuine questions to make sure you are all squared away. I haven’t had a bad interaction yet.

Aida Crystal Rodriguez Soto

Amazing store. Everybody is super nice.

Michael Royzen

THIS APPLE STORE ACTIVELY DECEIVES WITH BATTERY REPLACEMENT. I've been coming to this store for years and have always had great experiences. This week I made an appointment to get my iPhone 7's battery replaced and dropped off my phone. After an hour and a half, I picked up the iPhone, was told the battery was successfully replaced, and paid the $30 fee. However, just in case, I went into Settings to check that the battery actually was replaced and IT CLEARLY WASN'T -- the maximum capacity was still around 80%!! I pointed this out to the Genius bar person who was assisting me who confirmed that they sometimes just take out the battery and put it back in! WHAT?! What am I paying $30 for?! The Genius bar person re-ran a diagnostic test which confirmed that my battery had not been replaced and offered me a new iPhone 7 on the spot. I am pleased with how this was handled after I pointed out the issue, but I am still shaken that this Apple store actively tries to deceive customers in this way. I'm a loyal Apple customer and a developer. I still believe in the company and its products. But after this experience, I'm taking my business to another store.

B P S

The new store is very nice, nice design, and good service!

Joshua Lang

Apple is the worst place. Horrible products. Would never recommend for anyone.

Spaniard4evr

Great store and employees. Awesome building!! The person that helped me was amazing. Parking is terrible though.

Michael Pollock

Need to offer drinks, preferably free, if they are going to make you wait two hours for service

Liam Bolling

Really great looking Apple store. Helpful staff and if the weather is nice, great place to sit outside

SC Dolfan

This shopping center is becoming less relevant to me as stores close. Too upscale. I miss Mrs. Cooks. And Storables.

Best I have been in. All of them should be like this.

Literally only went there to pick up an online order for a charger, I was told to wait by a table. I did so for 30 minutes before cancelling my order and leaving.

Ben Rich

Unprofessional customer service. Extremely rude young people acting as if the reason Apple is paying them is only to stand their with their tablet and model. Pretentious and narcissistic sales attitudes doesn’t get you very far. It’s surprises me so many people had such great experiences here. It also depresses me as I learn how the standards of customer service is dropping.

Kaley Hurst

I'm still confused by how you're supposed to pay for things

Very understaffed and poor communication on wait times when trying to get product support. Great interior design, but that can only keep one distracted for so long.

Tom Kirkby

Rude staff that doesn’t try to help, just want to go home.

E Thomas

Cool place to hang for a bit if you have to. Coffee, food, and Apple store plus good burgers, ice cream and Amazon books!

The new store is very nice, nice design, and good service!

Shan

Worst experience ever. Have to wait to a swap of my phone and it takes forever! Please hire more people so people don’t have to wait for hours.

Kenny

Best I have been in. All of them should be like this.

Hello, I’ve had a couple really great experiences at the uvillage Apple store. I’d definitely return to shop for apple products!

ICA TRAVEL CONSULTING

Excellent Shopping Center. Restaurants and coffee places. Electronic stores (Microsoft Store)

Collin Edwards

Open air mall with higher end shopping. Was there the the food. Ate at Fuller Bros. Great wings.

Beryl Gorbman

Usually smart effective help. Did get a dumb one last month.

Martin Greytak

Booked out a week constantly now, and all the "geniuses" ever do is mail your stuff back to Apple anyway.

I bought a new phone here, and the sales assistant who helped me deserves a Nobel peace prize. She helped me negotiate AT&T even though I didn’t bring any useful info with me about my account. Store is laid out very thoughtfully, and there’s lovely WiFi available. Beautiful design/architecture.

David Morgan

Has a large variety of different stores, and is located next to the university which makes it very easily accessible. If you've never been there I would highly advise that you use your GPS on your phone, because it's very easy to get lost

dave watson

Be there is a deaf guy that help me out he was cool

Dannie Wit

Upscale, open air shopping experience. One of my favorite selection of stores. Unfortunately, parking is usually quite a bear.

Corey H

This is a really beautiful store. The staff was helpful and easy to talk to. They were approachable without making me feel like they were hovering. This is a huge. Went to test the new model iPhone and they had plenty on display. They didn’t have it available to purchase as it was recent after release and the company was only taking online orders. The staff explained this nicely, even though I’m sure 1,000 asked about it that day.

erin eastman

I liked the different stores that were available to shop at. The atmosphere was pleasant and easygoing. The only downfall was the construction that was going on and the lack of pedestrian walkways. The sculptures in the middle of the stores was a nice, aesthetic view, and the landscape was nice and clean.

Sabrina Friend

Love this place, pretty, upscale, unique stores. We have been coming here for over 30 years. Great restaurants, one of the few bagel stores left. Excellent selection at the QFC. Multiple Starbucks. Now a CB2! They are expanding within the footprint by adding parking levels, and then building in the parking lots. So things are always changing. Additionally, you can drop off Amazon returns at the bookstore.

Nick Davidson

very nice place for shopping and walking around, beutiful designs...

Iain Davidson

Great selection of shops, eats, and services. Check out the Apple store and Elemental Pizza.. both excellent places which shouldn't be missed! :)

Jose Diaz

Neat place and many options

Jacque Aboubakr

Staff are very attentive and helpful. Every time I come in here for help I feel like my problem is solved quickly and with care. Plus it’s pretty cool how they have workshops going while you wait - I learn something new every time.

Le Desky

Quirky, knowledgeable service rep. Excellent products. Five stars.

Sarah Lyons

Wait and repair times are unreasonable. Even with an appointment, I’ve waited 40+ minutes to see a technician then 2+ hours for a repair on numerous occasions. Management needs to rethink booking / scheduling system.

Daniel Y. Bi

Pretty store, good place to showcase apple products. BE AWARE: Terrible place to get ANY services from apple (I had their services 3 times includes picking stuff up and Genius Bar appointment), they have been nothing but chaotic and frustrating. It shocks me to see how these people can be such disorganized, inattentive and impatient. I’d suggest to go to other apple stores for any apple services.

Keith The Transformer

I really love Apple University Village. It was a great Apple experience and I got a lot of my questions answered about current apple products. I highly recommend coming here if you’re an Apple fan.

U Village is the best shopping in Seattle, unless you're a person who likes Malls. This place is a well designed outdoor space, has top notch retailers and plenty of parking...even valet options around the holidays. You'll find good restaurants, cafes and probably the goreatest QFC in the area. It's a no brainier.

Remko De Bie

Friendly and knowledgble staff. Easy free parking at walking distance

Gurpal Dosanjh

Staff were rude and unfriendly. Worst experience I’ve had in an Apple store

Snowy Night

Very beautiful location. Many shops like brandy Melville, aritizia, and many others. Definitely worth a visit. Every employee in each store was super polite

maeve o'malley

Classy shopping village. Good happy hours. Loads of parking, but can be a bit of a squeeze to get car in. It's got it all. Bring lots of money, you'll need it

Jackie Owens

U village has changed over the years, but it is still part of the neighborhood to me. A little higher scale than before - that is the only reason for a four star. I always enjoy meeting friends here and people watching

Andrew Doherty

The condescension. The unnecessary posturing. The attitude like “Wtf are you asking me this for, you stupid peasant.” Is this how we treat customers now? Disgusted. @apple, reach out to me if you want some constructive feedback. Happy to share with you the nature of my ‘apple store experience’

Cory Andrew Hofstad

Hours of support for my MacBook pro for free. These guys are amazing. Steve Jobs would be proud of his location.

Jamie Wilson

Fun place to kill time between appointments at Childrens Hospital.

Dakota Hunter

One of the few Apple stores with great service! They also have a nice patio section with chairs so you can enjoy the outside.

Jesus Escobedo

Nicer place ro visit, I came to din tai fung and molly ice cream

Michael Ford

I like Apple products a lot, but I have never had a good experience in this store. There lots of black clad assistants, but all they can do is tell you stand in line for the one guy who is actually authorized to sell you anything. Even if you are only picking up order or know exactly what you want, count yourself lucky if you get in and out in under an hour.

This is a beautiful, modern, Apple store right in the heart of University Village. I had the touch screen go out on my iPhone, and it was easy to book a repair appointment on line. I showed up and was immediately greeted by an Apple employee who checked me in for my appointment, and gave me a seat. Within minutes another Apple employee arrived and sat next to me to get to the problem with my phone. He told me the phone could be fixed in an hour or less, so I let him take it, and then walked around to check out the many cool stores and shops in University Village. I was told to be back at a specific time to get my phone and when I went back at the time, I was again greeted by an Apple employee at the door, offered a seat, and came out with my phone, sat next to me, and made sure I was happy with the repairs. The phone is perfect again. Overall, a really great experience at the store and with the wonderful employees. I will comment that, as others have noted, the store is a bit crowded, but it was not oppressive . On my visit, the new iPhone 11 was in its first few weeks of launch, so I think a lot of people were there to check out the new line up. If you go to this store, there is lots of parking near the store in lots all around the stores in University Village. If you can't quickly find a spot near the store, just head to one of the parking garages where there are tons of spaces to park. Closest lot to the Apple store is next to Crate and Barrel, or another one just north of the QFC grocery store.
