Very poor service. I walked into the store with many employees standing around and was not greeted by any. From the point that I got someone's attention he then began to greet everyone that walked through the door while cutting through our conversations. I came to get my phone looked at and was told all technicians were busy at the moment and that I needed to make a reservation. Another customer walks through the door and was greeted during our conversation and was told that she could go to the back and wait for availability of a technician. Very upset about the situation and plan to never return to that store ever again.

I was sent there by Apple Customers Support team via their online site & I had the worst service in my life. The store had more staff than customers and I had to wait close to Two hours even though I had an appointment. Their excuse that they were short on help!!!!!!!!!!!!! From the beginning the troubleshooter repair tech was to sell me a new iPad. His statement was regardless of what’s the problem with my iPad Air 2 it’s going to cost you $299. I couldn’t understand how he reached that figure before he looked into my iPad but he later explained to me that the $299 he quoted me was for refurbished iPad he was going to sell me and take my iPad in its place. I told him my iPad Air 2 was acting up 2 weeks after the warranty expired and while it was in warranty I called Apple and I informed them with a major problem with my iPad; it’s like doing things on its own and it jumps from one app to another by itself. His response was; yes I am aware of what you’re talking about and in our tech business we call it “GHOST TYPING”... The bottom line; he refused to repair my iPad and I have an iPad now it’s worthless. I wrote letter to Apple and so far it has been two months and I yet to receive any kind of response. SHAME ON YOU APPLE. My lifetime advice to all tech junkies; STAY AWAY FROM APPLE....FOR THE PRICES WE ALL PAY FOR APPLE PRODUCTS; APPLE MUST STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCTS WHEN THEY KNOW THEY HAVE A HUGE ISSUE INSTEAD OF SWEEPING IT UNDER THE CARPET TILL SOMEONE SCREAMS OUT LOUD ENOUGH AND THEN GET RESULTS FROM APPLE...Sooner or later; poor customer service will effect Apple sales ...I had no one to warn me; but beware of Apple products; their warranty and their lousy customer service...

I agree with the the previous rater. Terrible customer support. Was seen by Nil, a clueless young lady that spent her time trying not to help resolve the issue. She needs to learn some ppl skills like yesterday. Terrible attitude, lazy and just all around inexperienced. It took me asking for a manager to get the issue fixed. Who talks about lunch with a coworker while attending a customer? I’ll tell you who, she did! Wasting my time then trying to blow me off and tell me apple support was wrong and that she deals with this all the time. Wow. Hey apple here is a thought, hire more adults that actually appreciate there jobs and can actually do them. Not high school dropouts or community college kids that think IT was a movie!! Never ever going back to this store, unless of course I want to show my employees what not to do and how not to treat a customer.

Made an appointment but they cancelled when I walked in. Waited 45 minutes before someone saw me. Noticing a lot of one star reviews on here and now I know why. Technicians pick and choose whom they help without regard for appointments. They are clearly unable to look up from their tablets and use their eyes to observe which customer clearly needs help. I had the worst experience in Apple Potomac town center .. when I walked in they had me get in line without order who or whom came 1st or last . Once I got to line I had a reservation to purchase iPhone x.. but it took forever to some one comes and help us out even I was in line . Because the guy that works Sullivan he seems he knew those people in line after me . He was helping them by choosing who want to help.. he even skip us and start helping other guys that walk In in Apple after they didn't even in line . They just walked in and went straight to Sullivan .They didn't even stay in line .. Iam not sure if he was doing his own business inside Apple Store by choosing his People.. i feel like we pay so much money to get Apple product I think we should get better service too.. not like Sullivan employees gives poor customer service

Have used this Apple Store routinely when I need to pickup something quickly. Prefer the Short-pump location—although it’s further away—simply because the Richmond location keeps me pointed south and far, far away from DC area traffic. For my part, I have always found the service at the Potomac Town Centre professional and knowledgeable whenever I’ve stopped there....

I have found that after they did the first update or so the IPhone 6 Plus that I own will not charge even with the cable apple provided. The trick is to turn off the phone and after it is completely powered off plug it in. It will automatically turn on and start charging. I hope this helps. It does this with most apple products I own for now.

My fiancee broke his LED screen on his iphone when he dropped it accidentally. We made an appointment at the apple store for a repair. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a member of the Apple staff. I was early for my appointment so I had to wait about 5-10 min before anyone saw me. They asked for my fiancee's Apple ID and password. It took about 10-15 min for everything to get entered in for some reason. They evaluated the phone and said it was likely fixable and was going to cost $126 if they didn't find any other issues once they opened the phone. They had the phone for over an hour and when I came to pick it up they said they could not repair it because there was water damage. They said we could replace the phone with the same model for $250, but that wasn't recommended because it was an older model and the phone wasn't worth it. They told me I could leave the phone there if I wanted to talk things over with my fiancee and then I could come back and immediately get serviced without making a new appointment. I took the still broken phone and decided to try uBreakiFix. They saw me immediately without an appointment and only asked for the passcode for the phone so he could make sure the phone worked once it was repaired. They replaced the screen in under an hour and called me when it was ready. Phone works great, no problems and only had to pay $82! 90 day guarantee on the repair. Overall, Apple had good customer service but they charge too much for the services they offer and in the end just wanted to talk me into buying a new phone. Won't go to Apple again for a repair.

All the employees we worked with were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Lexus and James are the only two names I remember, but several helped from purchasing a new phone through a return and replacement due to some defects. Will shop here in the future!

Be careful with the details. Apple stores have a used car business model. You’ll get information that’s not correct and you’ll be upset when you return with a problem. Apple Care, trade-ins, warranty; read the fine print. It’s best to treat the store as a museum and buy the product online. It’s far less frustration. The sales associates will tell you whatever to make the sale. No wonder Big box companies are going under: poor customer service.

I went in Saturday night and Sunday. Saturday I was not approached after 10minutes of being ignored I left. Sunday I went in was told they didn't have the 6 and the associate turned around and didn't acknowledge any other needs I might have had or ask if I wanted to possibly reserve one from the next shipment. The staff was very friendly and we were helped very quickly. We had a battery replaced in an iPhone 6s and while we waited, we did some other shopping and when we came back, it was all finished up and ready to go. The only complaint I have was that the battery was just about dead when we got the phone back and we didn't have a charger for the drive back home. It would have been nice to have the phone charged, especially since the issue we took it in for was a bad battery. Either way, that is my only complaint and the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. I would recommend this location and and their staff to others as I had a pleasant experience.

The most absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced from a company I’ve spent thousands on! They staff is super unprofessional. A bunch of kids and young adults hanging out the front end talking about drinking and partying for the weekend when there is customers waiting to be assisted. I was told my phone was going be ready in a hour after dropping it off. I walked in at the respected time given. Allowing just an additional 15min to finish up. An hour later I am at this point Furious. I was asked did I communicate it to the right person. As if I can tell the difference in who is the right person. Being that they all wear the exact same shirt. An hour goes pass and they just bring me my phone and say okay let me know if you need help and then just walks away. As I am searching for help no one is attentive. AND MY PHONE IS STILL NOT WORKING PROPERLY!!!!!! I am beyond done with their lack of customer support and service!

This is has to be the worse experience I had, apple is getting worse and worse. I came here on the Tuesday the 22nd. I had problems with my Apple TV remote and iPhone 7 power draining out. The guy who “tried” to help didn’t even want to charge my iPhone to see the issue was. He refuse over and over again to plug in my phone charge it. That way he would see the actual issue in real time. He keeper repeating that the battery was fine and would not charge it. It wasn’t 5 minutes later when he started talking about just buying a new iPhone rather then fixing my phone. The commercials are straight honest the only thing apple wants us no sale sale sale. I got mad and asked him to forget about it and try to fix my Apple TV remote. Went to he back and told me he couldn’t check or do anything because they didn’t have a APPLE TV ON THE STORE. Apple store DONEST HAVE A APPLE TV TO TROUBLE SHOT A REMOVE. This is a joke UNCLES YOU ARE BYUING APPLE STORE DONT COME HERE. One more reason to switch from this ripoff apple brand to a much better phone !!!

He was really polite and very helpful with what he could do for me. I recently took my 27in iMac to this store with a screen issue, which turned to be the logic board. Thankfully was still under Apple Care and they replaced this for me with great service. It did take sometime (a week), but that was reasonable considering the issue. I like this store as is easy to get to, with a drop off zone right in front of the store, instead of having to try navigate through a busy mall, miles from the parking with a big heavy computer (which really is not practical in most other Apple stores). Thanks to the Potomac Town Center Apple Store.

Horrible customer service, went to exchange a case I ordered online. They then refunded the case back to my original payment, which was an apple gift card. They then told me I would have to call apple support to get a new gift card issued, but since I don't have the original gift card with me I won't be able to use that credit. The WORST customer service. I went to this store to get my husband a new battery for his phone. The man at the front told us that they were out of stock, however, he told us to wait in the line towards the front so that we could order one. NO PROBLEM! The problem comes in when we get to the front and we are told that in fact they do have batteries BUT they don’t have time to see us which I find odd because we arrived at the store at 4:45pm but the store does not close until 6pm. Then, he had the NERVE to tell us that the closest appointment to purchase a battery and have it installed in my husband’s phone was Friday of NEXT WEEK. He was rude and very dismissive. I will NEVER visit this location again and I will tell my friends to never visit this location as well. It was a wasted trip just to have bad customer service!

One of our senior clients hade a problem with the apple ID we are very good with this issues but this was for the Apple store ;-), we went here to here to fix the issue and was a nice experience the support was personalized tables everywhere big space light and no over selling, it took a little time because was a waiting process to authenticate the ownership of the cellphone but after that was done with the best attitude of the guy who help us ;-)

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Have you ever been in a Chick fil a? They always said "My pleasure" that's their logo, Do you know what's WOODBRIDGE Apple Store logo, "Hi, Do you have an appointment? That is not polite, respectful, nice, etc. Make sometime and count how many employees are ALWAYS walking around/flooring doing nothing. Once you are lucky to get one's attention, be ready, because they are going to send you from one employee to another, no more than 3, if you are lucky. I had the unpleasant chance to meet Elisa or Alisa, not sure about the spelling, on 2/13/18. Wow, what a rude young woman! How come someone can think she has the right to treat people the way she did to me, and I am sure to so many people more. I could see that is her nature. It is really SAD! So many unemployed people around, willing to work late hours and do what they have to in the best possible way. I am a disabled person, and she made feel so sick and frustrated.But you know, I wish her nothing but the best, I hope God can heal that bitter soul. I talked on the phone to "Mike", the Manager, he said, and I am filing a complaint.

After having spoken to a Senior Supervisor from Apple Support that sent me to the store with assurances that the issues would be taken care of, the bar for customer support and interaction had been set real high. I drove over 1 hour out of my way during a really busy work schedule to follow this suggestion and to hopefully once and for have my $1300 Phone in full working condition. First impressions are everything, and in truth you never get a second chance to make one. This place was a sad collection of washed out high school kids or college drops outs from the looks of things. To be clear, I am referring to the Apple Employees. I was created at the door by a lackluster, almost sullen young lady that seemed almost upset that she had to assist me. The bar fell one notch. I waited to be called in line only to receive a txt asking me to go to the genius bar and let them know I was there,?! Wait what? How on earth did you check me j to your system and not have a que to pull me out of or one that was actually monitored? Bar drops again. I sit at this bar waiting until I see one of the employees, one that actually seemed to be doing his job, and asked him about this. He quickly made a note for someone to come check on me. And this is where all the other stars went down the drain for this visit. The Apple employee that came to assist me was name Nil or some such. To begin with as she stopped by where I was sitting at the apple bar she spent five minutes addressing another coworker about I can only assume lunch and handed him her debit card. She then seemed completely disinterested in me and looked around the room before even acknowledging my presence. When she did finally start to set about her business I pointed out that I was sent by a senior supervisor and notes were made for her to check. She then left and came back telling me that there was nothing that could be done as the issue was a carrier issue and promptly tried to send me on my way. I pointed out what I was told and she again stated that apple phone support was usually wrong and that she had to deal with these mistakes all the time. I was perplexed, I did not appreciate her lack of etiquette or customer service experience which was clear from the moment she walked up. She was clueless and way over her head on this one. I explained the issue again as I had over the phone with the other rep. She left again and came back testing different SIM cards telling me that they worked. I pointed out that while the phone read the cards no network would connect. She again tried to dismiss my concerns. Literally she wanted to do zero real work. It was at this point that I asked for her supervisor. I was fed up and had had all the bad attitude and poor customer service experience from her and apple that I was gonna g to take. After again explaining the situation and issues to the supervisor he went back with her assuring me that he would get to the bottom of it. He comes back letting me know that she, Nil was working off of knowledge that related to the iPhone 5 series?!?! Really??? We are working on a XSMAX! her complete lack of respect for the customer and lackadaisical manor wasted my valuable time and now I find out not only is she disrespectful but she is clueless about the one job that she needs to do!? Wow. The manager handled the situation and handed me off to someone that clearly knew exactly how to fix the issue. This person was on point and I wish I knew his name because he stayed late to make it happen, that is what customer support is all about. Its about going the extra mile to get the job done. I am grateful to the manager and this other individual. I will never set foot In this store again. Unless of course I want to teach my employees what not to do and how not to behave.

i went there to repair cracked iphone screen, they told me that they have to replace whole phone. i paid $316. for that, my phone was unlocked and i find out later on they gave AT&T locked iPhone , i went back to the store and The manager name Michelle Walden told me that she can't help me. so my $316. iphone is peace of trash. i have T mobile. i can't use the phone . Is this the Apple's way? She was rude, resist. she said she doesn't geive a thing !!! i guess its time for me look for other option !!! if you are going to this apple store be careful!!!

I think they get paid to lie to people. With same issue on Macbook, two different people same completely different diagnosis. They want to sell their service and saying completely non correct statements. It happened when I bought my Iphone 7 Plus. For a first time Apple buyer to walk in might be intimidating: everybody seems to appear to know what they are doing, both, the Apple staff and the customers. Don’t be embarrased by your “ignorance”! As soon as you walk in, an Appler will greet you with a smile and be ready to help. The staff is very professional and will stay with you until you make a purchase or have a question or a problem with an Apple item that you have bought. They will also set you up with some instruction in a class that is always forming. And all of this help is FREE‼️

Replaced my MacBook Air's battery 2 months ago and had to get it fixed again because liquid got inside the Mac. Everything was fine except the laptop wouldn't work unless it was plugged in to the charger and some of the keys were a bit stiff. Now, after finding out the repair would cost $750, the mac ended up worse than before we dropped it off. The keys just magically became even more stiff than before, the laptop performs slower, the trackpad became really stiff although I can fix that easily. I feel like they made this laptop worse so they could get more money into their pockets. I will never look at this apple store the same anymore.

Synopsis: Lacking in customer service and communication. Don't go here. Made appointment 3 weeks ago for iphone battery replacement, was told it would be 5 days and that turned into 2 weeks. After not hearing anything by the 3rd week I contacted them and was informed my battery was in but if I didn't come in next day it would be given away (Don't mind I requested a phone call when battery arrived). Rearranged my day and made it to the apple store @ 10AM, waited around for 15 minutes before one of the "Geniuses" acknowledged me and checked me in because evidently we have evolved beyond counters and lines. another 15 minutes and a "Genius" met with me and told me to be back @ 11:45. Wandered around and did some errands, came back @ 11:45 and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes so I wandered around more. Came back @ 12:00 and waited for almost half an hour before my existence was acknowledged and they later brought out my phone within another 10 minutes. Total time wasted waiting on "service" was longer than the battery replacement. Almost 3 hours to do something I was originally informed would take 1-1.5 hours. Lacking in customer service, shame. Not dealing with that again and you shouldn't either.

Went there for battery change. Waited in line to be seated then wait again for a technician to go out for technical questions. The young tech guy said can’t do it because my iPhone 6 Plus was slightly bended. He said if he cannot replaced my iPhone 6 Plus battery than I have to paid $350+ to replace my iPhone 6 Plus with another used iPhone 6 Plus. Why would I want to spend that kind of money when I could add some money to get the iPhone 8 Plus. Ridiculous. He said once he removed my battery he cannot put it back. I will attach my pictures to show how much my iPhone is bended. Let me know what you think if possible to replace it or not? They would not allow me to purchase the battery itself. Otherwise, I would have replaced it myself. It’s not that hard to DIY. I have opened my iPhone before and closed. My iPhone is working perfectly fine. He doesn’t even brother to try to open two screw to see if possible to replace it or not. He just said cannot do it. He said the new battery will not work with your on button blah blah. How is that possible? Why is he put different size battery? It just show me he’s Not skillful with his ability to change a simple battery. I’m glad he didn’t because he possibly make it worst.

Fantastic service today. A Verizon store told me that my iPhone 6s would not ring or give audible notifications because Apple stopped supporting its software, and tried to sell me a new phone. At the Apple store, the employee listened to what was wrong and fixed the problem in a few minutes. Honest, excellent service. Fantastic!!!

I have been using apple products since 2006. When I move this area, I went this store last Friday. I feel so bad. Employees are very rude, and they gave me wrong information and hassle to me all the time. They tried to miss interpretation Apple rule and regulation because when I went Pentagon store they solve my problem very eassy. I talk to store manager he also support store employee and show me rude behavior. I feel they are treat to customer how they look like, what their color and origin. Definitely I will complaint Apple customer center.

Yes I went there yesterday in hoping to find a part for my imac computer. I was bombarded by help when I walked in the door which was a good thing in this matter. One young lady kinda of took the wheel to help me her name was Sultana N. she was very friendly and wanted to make sure that I got what I needed. Now I had an older version of a imac so what I needed was not on the display floor so she talk with another co worker and they went in the back to look for it. She came out with the part and asked did need any further assistance I said no and then she caught my accent then she asked me was I from New York I said not originally I asked her how did she know she said she I could her that NY accent we laughed. Anyway we talked a bit more and I left very satisfied. Now I get home to hook it up did not work so had to bring part back but I do not blame the staff bc I did not have all the info to get the right product the first time. I did a return with no problem so I say.....Thank you Apple staff for everything although I did not get the right part bc you did not carry the older model anymore!!!!!

I made Genius Bar appointment for 2pm at 3pm I was still waiting to be helped. Then around 3:15pm I was approached by a manager who apologized for the wait and told me “someone will be with you shortly”. I would’ve been ok with if I didn’t have any other plans for that day but I did so after waiting for an hour my patience had run out. Especially when customers that arrived after me were being helped right away it was infuriating and I ended up leaving without being helped. Apple products costs way too much for the crappy customer service I received during my recent visit, maybe it’s time I started taking my business where they value their customers.

I just wanna take this moment to thank the minimum wage geniuses for making me wait 2 hours just to look at my phone for 30 seconds and tell me that the speaker and WiFi is not working because I got the phone screen replaced before. You guys are the best at what you do and that is probably why you get paid the minimum bucks and are labelled geniuses. Took 30 seconds to tell me every possible reason why you can't help me instead of alternate option WOW!!!! I wish I could half a star but I can't so congrats.

THE APPLE COMPANY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS. a couple weeks ago my iPhone 6s stopped charging and I took it into this apple store. The tech guy asked me if I had previously had something done to the phone and I told him I had my battery replaced about a year ago through that apple store. and after a couple more minutes of running tests and checking the phone out he told me that there was NO water damage and the only problem was pins in the charging port. He said they were corroded and that my phone would no longer turn on after it fully died and that I should just upgrade to a newer phone or pay $300 to replace this one to which he said was not worth it. And so the next day I bought a brand new iPhone XR. All has been well with this phone and it’s amazing however yesterday my uncle asked to see my iPhone 6s to see if he can fix it. I gave it to him and upon opening it up he said that there was a SMALL METAL PLATE and SCREW just laying inside the phone not connected to anything and some wire that keeps the battery in place was not attached or plugged in. Then he screwed it back in and connected the wire and said it started charging and nothing else was wrong. So if apple tells you the phone will not turn back on and you’ve had a battery change through them they will make it so you are forced to upgrade. Do not trust apple.

Look to spend atleast 30mins even if you have an appointment. When you come in the door there is person that will greet you and send you to a line further in the store. There are 2 lines on either side of the store. Look for the people with iPads that ask you if you have an appointment. They can scedule you an appointment if you need it. If you have an appointment or you are picking up a fixed phone they will send you to the front of the store where there is a long table with chairs and a bar with chairs where you sit and wait for someone to call you. I give four stars because of the lack of communication once you get past the door greeter.

I was really apprehensive about going to this store after reading the reviews. However, I had an issue with my phone that needed to be resolved immediately, and it being the closest store to me, off I went. To my surprise, the technicians were extremely friendly, and professional. They took the time to resolve my problem and made sure I was satisfied with the resolution. Will definitely return to this store in the future.

I have no clue why service at Apple Stores is so lacking. It has been a hassle completing a purchase at any Apple Store. I have an item in hand, with an obvious look of someone seeking assistance ... even walking towards an employee and asking for help. All to be ignored. Is it because I’m not white? I have noticed white customers are seemingly always showered with attention from the moment they walk in to when they walk out. And I carefully observe people and listen to everything employees do so I know when another customer has an appointment. Seriously making me consider a switch back to Android and Windows ... I don’t enjoy paying a premium for subpar service.

Nick was not helpful after a 2 hour and 15 min wait. Tried to get me to spend $79 for a new battery after my 10.1 software push ruined my battery life and obliterated my Touch ID. He wanted to add an additional $124, after insisting I had "refaced" my phone recently and commented that it was "too bad" my warranty was expired. He missed an opportunity when he let me walk out of the store. His manager was never called into the conversation. My relationship with Apple will end when keeping my phone plugged in all the time no longer keeps this device charged for at least 3 hours.

Probably the worst customer experience of my life. Went for a battery replacement and they were dismissive and unhelpful despite my immobility caused by a recent Achilles injury. When the battery was finally replaced, it was done incorrectly and resulted in a massive loss of data. I was not told I was having my phone reset to factory settings until the process was underway. I am considering switching away from Apple products entirely after this experience. Do not go to this store.

A cool place with a helpful staff, and in typical Apple style, open, spacious, bright and organized. Always plenty of staff on hand to quickly assist you, assess your problem or need and get you on your way again. Have been in this store many times with a problem (usually operator error) or a faulty device (dropped in water, or a broken screen) and have always had a knowledgeable, patient rep assist me. I have always been satisfied when leaving this store. They're great!

This place has it all. You can find the coolest new technology and gadgets as well as some small home goods items such as surround sound speakers, Star Wars toys, and Nest smart home products, such as the Nest thermostat. They always have helpful staff at this place and usually visits can go pretty quickly even on Saturdays when most folks are out and about. We're glad that we have this Apple Store so close to us as opposed to trying to commute out to Fair Oaks Mall. This is truly a gem of an amenity and a welcome addition to the local Woodbridge area.

Terrible business model!!! Four Apple people standing around and couldn't check me in so after waiting two hours I had to wait in line in the back to be checked in. Manager said if they check you in our technician wouldn't know what you look like. BS on their sign in the person who signed me and selected my pants color and the color of my shirt so The technician could find me. When I was in purchasing my Apple Watch I got all the help I needed. They're more concerned about getting new customers than they are about taking care of the customers they have! Apple service sucks!!!

Simply stated; Kelvin the store leader and Lamia are the pinnacle of customer service. As a customer, Apple fanboy, and least important a shareholder they epitomized dedication, attention to detail and customer service. Kelvin had his team went above and beyond the typical consumer product support to rectify my issues, I really cannot attest more to their outstanding service today. Products come and go, companies and trend as well. However, when the human element to customer satisfaction is as on point as Kelvin and Lamia were on today Apple will be here long after me. I did and then tried to contact him on the purchase process and he got pissed because I texted him 3 times not knowing he was at work and he obviously did not know how to respond and let me know. Went to this store after getting jerked around at the local sprint store in Fredericksburg. The folks at this Apple location were FANTASTIC! I had a brief 5 minute wait (as opposed to over an hour at Sprint), the technician really knew what she was doing. Ran the diagnostics and a few other tests and we were out of there in less than an hour. If you are an Apple user and have the Apple Care insurance, I highly recommend going to this location if your phone needs servicing.

Apple review Today my husband and I made plans to go to the Apple store. We are semi-new to the Apple world. My husbands iPhone was having issues with the battery. We take the 2 hour hike to the Apple store with no idea of what to expect. We assumed it’d be pretty much the same as any other “phone store”. We finally arrive!! We walk into the store. The store is very well stocked with every Apple product you could think of! However, it’s very confusing the way the store is laid out. Upon entering, there was no one there to greet us or help us find where we should go to ask about repair. We walked around for a good 15 minutes completely clueless. So, I eventually just took the initiative to steal an employees attention. He says, “do you have an appointment?”. The way he said it was like you had to have an appointment for a repair. I explained we had no idea how it worked and what can we do because we drove really far. I didn’t take note of any of the names of the associates I had dealt with sadly. He said it was a 2 hr wait. He then says that we can go do something else but should stay close by because we only had ten minutes to get there once the text was sent or we would have to start all over again. We were very hesitant because we had plans but decided to put those out later in the day as my husband needs his phone for work. We stuck around there so we wouldn’t lose the appointment. So, at 2:30, they say 2 hour wait. So, at 3:30, we ask again how much longer? Gentleman says 2 hours. Mind you, we have already waited 1 hour. So, we say okay. Then, another employee comes up around 4:30pm and says you guys have been here a while, is there anything I can help you with? I said yes we were waiting for a tech to look at my husbands phone, he needs a new battery. He says 5 more minutes and the tech will be with you. We are thinking great, finally!!! 5:30pm comes around, still no tech. Finally a tech comes out around 5:35pm. She says yes you need a new battery come pick it up around 7pm. We go to our car and wait for an hour and 30 minutes. We come back. No employee can be found to notify that we are back to pick up the phone. Finally find someone. We check in and he says 5 min. 7:15pm still waiting and no phone! So I grab the attention of another employee. He says I’m getting it now. In this store if you plan on coming here, be prepared to make it a whole day event. We left our house at 12:30pm. Arrived at 2:30pm. Got the phone at 7:30pm. Arrived home at 9:30pm. Our plans had to be canceled since we spent 5 hours to get a freaking battery at the Apple store. I complained to the manager, but he was very insincere and unapologetic. This rendezvous really makes me want to switch to android. I will NEVER return to this Apple store again!

EVERY time I come to this location, I wait and wait and only get service after I complain. They are clearly poorly managed with staff milling about the showroom but none are able to actually do anything. You always have to get someone from the back to sell you something, drop off a device for repairs, or even wait 30+ minutes to pick up a repaired device. I once waited 30 minutes to BUY a new iPad (and was only able to purchase after demanding to speak with the manager)!!!!

My experiences at this location have been pleasant, and the employees helpful. I have been able to walk in for help (weekday or weeknight) all but once. Its a madhouse on the weekends, but if you do have to schedule an appt for that time, they seem to keep on schedule.

Absolutely the worst Apple store I have ever been too. I made an appointment for 4pm. Then they made me wait 2 hours and 45 min only to tell me something they could have told me on the phone when I called. When i came in they asked for my phone number so they can text me when they are ready to see me. Lol I'm in the same room with them but they need to text me. After 2 hours my phone died. I let them know that they cannot text due to my dead phone. I tried to give them my wife's number who was with me and they said "sorry the software will not allow us to change the number in the system" they offered me a charger and expected me to sit down and charge my phone. I told the lady that she could write my wife's number down on a Hi Tech sticky note. And I was told "I'm sorry we dont do that here"

I took my 2017 Macbook Pro to the Apple potomac town center for repair because one of the usb-c ports was not working. There were a few days left on the warranty to fix it and I was visiting my parents and didn't have anything else to do. I didn't use the second usb port that much and it didn't prevent me from doing any work. They sent it in for repair and replaced the logic board. Now it crashes and restarts every 2 seconds. They made the laptop completely unusable and I can't do any work on it. Worst of all, they made it seem like they didn't do anything wrong, like it was my fault. Apple customer care is ridiculous, they are making me pay for something they did wrong. They broke my laptop and continue to waste my time. Apple customer service is really terrible.

We scheduled an appointment through apple support over the phone to repair my wife's iphone and the "Genius" over there would not go through with the repair since the battery passed whatever stupid diagnostic they ran and told my wife that it is common for an iphone to turn off in cold weather. I had to contact apple support again to schedule an in home repair. Never going to this apple store again!!!

Upgraded my iPhone, this location is the most convenient location to my home. I had purchased a phone online and had chosen this location as the pickup location. We arrived and luckily there was a parking spot available in front of the store. The staff has been friendly for this location since we have been there for about 4 years. We like this location because we can also get food and groceries from the nearby walking distance Wegman's.

As soon as my son and I walked in Justin made contact with us. He was with another customer and told us it would be only a moment and he could come see to our needs. Justin was very helpful showing us how to go through Apple's site to have my sons phone reset. He pulled up the site on one of the many laptops available and walked us through the process. I am not a tech savvy person at all so his guidance was really appreciated.

Went in to get a pair of headphones for my wife. Couldn't find a place to check out. Finally tracked down an employee and he told me that only one person could check me out. That person was busy so I'd have to have a seat at the table and wait. How long? I couldnt tell you. Not for an overpriced pair of ear buds. The store is totally disorganized with no clear way to get anything done. You just wander around until some "genius" in ripped jeans and a t-shirt asks you what's up. Will never go back to that store. Walmart employees are more helpful.

It's nice to have an Apple Store in Prince William County, but the customer service is mediocre and I never feel welcomed as a customer entering. This may be because of the volume of people in the store. I've done a lot of business at various Apple Stores. This location is not among the best. As with all Apple Stores it is like a zoo. Lots of people, especially kids, looking and playing with the merchandise. It's hard to get assistance and even harder to make a purchase. Apple already has a reputation for attracting snobs and wannabes, especially as employees; but, if that Apple Store restricted the number of people that can enter at a given time it may help improve the customer service and overall experience. Yes, it would make some people mad and it would give it a club-like appearance on the outside, but for adults who are genuinely interested in researching and/or purchasing it would enable those to do so quicker. I do recommend visiting and doing business at this location, but I suggest going during the weekday when it's less crowded.
