Super busy place, lots of people to assist but all are working all time. Make an appointment if you can. It can take hours to be seen without. I made an appointment but the Apple guy said some people can't. They usually are helping two people at a time at least. He did help me get my IPAD up to date and taught me how to back it up, but we can't figure out why it went crazy Saturday night.

Carlee did an outstanding job getting my MacBook Pro fixed (swollen battery) in just two days. Overnight to the repair depot and overnight back. It could not have been faster. Great service as I am from Nevada and on the road traveling for six weeks. Six stars.

I came in for an appointment to have my IPhone battery replaced. The staff was friendly as always but unfortunately the could not help. The genius mentioned that my phone was slightly bent and that they couldn’t replace the battery. They pushed to try to get me to buy a new phone instead. That would have cost me hundreds of dollars. I’m fed up with Apple to the point where I am going to purchase a Samsung Galaxy instead. Sorry Apple, I’m gonna have to make the switch.

I came to the Apple store to have my battery replaced on my phone, and it went pretty well. I kept thinking I was going to wait a ver long time, but I was in and out in less than an hour. Keep in mind, this was on a weekend, and the store was completely packed! Very good customer service from the employees!

Very poor customer service. Do not go to this location. One tiny scratch on my airpod charger that has been sitting in caseholder/ pouch for almost yr classifies any issue as a damage item! How is that even remotely right?!? N the rep said oh yeah i can tell you take care of it, but u see that scratch yea that is going to make it damaged claim. Just beyond disappointed in Apple

Once I sign in and got assigned to the tech that could help me with what ever problem, purchase, or questions I might have, I was asked to stand or sit in a specific area, and help would be right with me.The employees that I’ve dealt with have always been extremely knowledgeable, professional, helpful and very nice. When I first walked into the store it seemed cayotic, unorganized and extremely busy. But after being there for a while I realized that besides having a different customer service style, it actually works. I loved that the customer didn’t have to take their purchases to a check out counter, because the tech said that he could check me out right there, right now. But the best part of my trip to the Apple store was, that after I was helped with whatever I first went in for, I got to look around at all the latest Apple products. I just wish I lived closer than 2 hrs away so I could sign up for more of their free classes.

My daughter broke the tip of the charging cord off inside the IPad she uses as an assistive communications tool. I tried the glue method to remove it, then the drill method, and all I managed to do was get the the tip stuck further in. In desperation, I brought it into the crowded Apple Store, expecting to wait hours for nothing. A manager immediately greeted me, saw the problem and gave the IPad to Steven to fix. Less than twenty minutes after we arrived, we had our machine back, fully functional, and without being charged for the service! Next time I have trouble with a machine, I'll start here instead of YouTube!

This Apple store is very efficient. I made an appointment to get my audio fixed. This store is always busy, however, when they are with you, they give you their full attention. They explained the process and how long it would take. I shopped while I waited then picked up my repaired phone.

It’s a busy locations, so without an appointment, it could be an hour or more wait. They text you when there is 5-10 min left before you will be seen. I simply spend the wait time at the Starbucks and nice stores in the shopping center. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have been there twice for Genius Bar, and both were great experiences.

Spent 5 hours inside the location to simply buy a phone and transfer info from old phone to new phone. Purchase of new phone was easy and seamless, but the data transfer by the “Genius” was horrific. Left the device with the employee while we went to eat dinner because the transfer would take over an hour. Came back to the store and employee had left and transfer was not completed. The employee couldn’t do it and just left without notifying us. Then manager says he is just sorry and understands our frustration. Another employee tried again and then found that the new device had programs downloaded to it and a passcode??? Also found that the serial Number was not valid when an error screen popped up. Employee reset the device and tried again only to find that the device is probably faulty and he went through the steps to get us a refund and try again another day. Took the SIM card out of new device and switched that one with the SIM card in old device. Now old device won’t work or read the SIM card at all!!! 5 hours spent in the store and all we got was an apology and try again. Smh....not a good experience at all.

We are Apple fans in our family! They have always taken care of us whenever there’s been an issue and the store is the most convenient to where we live and has great customer service all the way around. Apple over android any day! I’ve used both and find apple way easier to navigate.

Bought a MacBook Pro with touchbar and took good care of it. Two years later it has a faulty screen. They looked at it no damage at all and they won’t cover the cost enough, knowing well its a defective product. At this point it’s less expensive to just buy another computer (not apple of course!) save your money do not buy a MacBook Pro with touchbar.

A very busy apple store among few apple stores in Dallas. The staff is very professional, dedicated, courteous and helpful. The usual wait time is 30 minutes to reach a professional. Once you are attended it doesn't take too long to solve your problem.

Great store, great selection of Apple products, but service was a complete mess. Ordered an item online. Was notified it was ready for pick up. Went to the location and there was a line out the door. Waited patiently in line. Was finally approached and asked the reason for my visit. Once they found out my reason. I was escorted to another area of the store and forgotten about. I stood there and watched the person that was supposed to sign my item over to me skip me five times, while my item sat there in front of her. After having been there for over an hour I lost patience and stepped in front of the sixth person and asked the attendant if I could just have my item because unlike the last five people I actually know what I want, actually bought something, and just want to take it and leave. I'm not even kidding, the five people screwed around asking to see multiple items, asking questions that they could have easily figured out themselves online, and then ultimately leaving without even buying anything. Just a small suggestion. How about have prepaid items be signed over by the person who retrieved it from the back? Instead of making someone stand there for over an hour staring at said item? Probably will never go to the store again in person. And will just have it delivered. I compare a visit here to standing in line at Disney World for three hours to ride a two minute ride that ultimately sucked in the end. Oh, the Apple ear buds are pricey but awesome. A definite must have for your iPhone.

I have always been treated courteously and received good service. Never once experienced rude staff, maybe because I wasn't rude to them. The only downside is that the place is insanely busy, 100 percent of the time. It takes a week to get a Genius Bar appointment. We need another Apple Store in Fort Worth or possibly Arlington.

We came in after the holidays to look at the Apple Watches. Pedro assisted us and he was so helpful in explaining the different features for both the Series 3/4. He even took out the time to let us try on the watches and make sure we were going to purchase the one we ultimately wanted. In addition, as we waited, my family needed to use the computer to check-in to their flight back rob Germany. Dave, the manager, was more then happy to assist us by letting us use the computers and to also print out our boarding passes. He went above and beyond even when we couldn’t figure out how to send it to the Apple Store. Thank you both so much for the wonderful experience!!!

Appt set prior to arrival. Upon arrival, they said we have no appt. Waited for 1.5 hours before being told show us the money. Obviously the audio issue with our iPhone 7 is a known issue. Apple provided a replacement Phone in May 2018. They only provided a 90 day warranty. Now we are having the same exact issue. No warranty. But they did say they would sell us a remanufactured one for $350 with no guarantee that the problem won’t happen again. Absolutely nothing physical wrong with the phone other than manufacturer issue. Poor service. Very dissatisfied

Their agenda is to sell you new products that will help them topple the charts, they have no intentions of repairing smartphones at even a reasonable price, I mean would you pay more than $150 to get your Iphone 6 screen repaired? It's always crowded like crazy but they have got plenty of agents to help you. Plenty of parking and Starbucks next to the store to chill out and have coffee. Also there's a zoo, botanical and Japanese garden around the store, so you can plan a trip there too. Overall the location of the store is really good.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Then seated to wait for a tech in about 1 minute the tech was there and working on my battery problem. They were out of batteries but ordered one and said I would be notified on its arrival. All in all it was an efficient and pleasant experience with professional and very friendly service

Very nice helpful the employee manger was not nice very disrespectful and mean to me wouldn't listen thought he was right about everything but was wrong even thought I wasn't leaving until I got problem resolved Austin stayed and help until the end of the work day I was there from 2:59 until 9 I had to call technical support 5time in the store and I ran across Marcos who helped me and found out what needed to be done and help me through everything I mean that was a god sitting Angel right there thank you Marcos cuz if it wasn't for you I would not had it got out of that place I was still being the same position he was respectful knowledgeable tell me everything that I needed to do he researched for me and you couldn't didn't tell me that it was impossible for it to be done I just want to thank them big Marcos and he was a manager and acting like a manager he wasn't rude just play nice I went through a manager named Taylor she was rude I had to check her I mean when you going public places you just want to get your stuff done and get out of there the place was crowded you know so I understand what was going on but at the same time and don't pay to be rude and you a manager if it came back to it I would never shop there again

In and out, even though the place was packed on a Monday at 1:30 pm, they still made time for us to answer our questions and check us out. The wife loves her new Wireless apple earbuds and the Starbucks right beside it was definitely a plus. Felt a little off pulling out my android surrounded by everyone and their Apple devices ( don't hate ) and was pleasantly told of Apple's amazing trade in deals.

Had an appointment to pick a phone I got online , had paid for and it was a matter of picking up. Got in the building and was directed to a line where I passed the next 90 minutes looking at different store personnel hug each other , talk and walk to the back. Hour and 45 minutes in the crowd started talking and complaining with jokes but it got to the point someone called one of the attendants out and asked . She replied am not qualified to do that job u will have to go back online and wait. No attempt to get the "qualified " person was made by her. 25 more minutes a kid came asked for confirmation number and ID 2 minutes later a phone came out. Worse customer experience and service ever. We ask the person handing the phone, why we had to wait for 2 hours to get a product, he replied that's pretty normal. No apologies or excuses just in shock.

Came in for a faulty AirPod. The team worked with me to try and replace the one which was not working, but without luck. I enjoy the Apple products, don’t get me wrong. But they offer a 0% financing on business purchases, which technically is not true. They partner with Direct Capital, whom both, the Apple salesperson and Direct Capital representative don’t explain that you are leading and will have to purchase your item again at the end of your lease. On top of that, the 0% is a scam. They projected to me a monthly payment of 56.86 (including sales tax) and I have been charged 71.10 every month, over a 25% increase. Now they have charged me 177.36, which was explained to be a property tax of 24 and an administration fee of 70, which still don’t add up to the 106 extra that they charged me. Direct Capital is a scam, wouldn’t recommend this “financing” option with Apple. You would be just as good to put it on a 0% credit card and pay it off in a year, at least you own it and know exactly what your payment is. I know this rant is mostly about Direct Capital, but it is very disappointing that the Apple salesperson got me into this mess and misrepresented what this 0% financing option was. I’m amazed that they partnered with this type of organization at all.

I went to the Apple Store on university walked in was greeted by one of the employees who I told of my issue. She tried to do a manual reset also and I noticed she tried holding down the upper volume and the button on the opposite side at the same time and didn’t work for her either. She told me I would have an hour and 10 minute wait. I went to one of the iPads in the store and in googled how to reset an iPhone X. I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. Why do they have people working in the store that are completely ignorant of their products. I was going to wait over an hour because she didn’t know what the hell she was doing.

I didn't mind waiting an hour for my phone to be looked at but the worst part was when the technician started to say my phone can't be fixed and they won't be able to service it although it was Apple's fault for the chip that froze the screen. We came in after the holidays to look at the Apple Watches. Pedro assisted us and he was so helpful in explaining the different features for both the Series 3/4. He even took out the time to let us try on the watches and make sure we were going to purchase the one we ultimately wanted. In addition, as we waited, my family needed to use the computer to check-in to their flight back rob Germany. Dave, the manager, was more then happy to assist us by letting us use the computers and to also print out our boarding passes. Appt set prior to arrival. Upon arrival, they said we have no appt. Waited for 1.5 hours before being told show us the money. Obviously the audio issue with our iPhone 7 is a known issue. Apple provided a replacement Phone in May 2018. They only provided a 90 day warranty. Now we are having the same exact issue. No warranty. But they did say they would sell us a remanufactured one for $350 with no guarantee that the problem won’t happen again. Absolutely nothing physical wrong with the phone other than manufacturer issue. Poor service. Very dissatisfied

Had an appointment to pick a phone I got online , had paid for and it was a matter of picking up. Got in the building and was directed to a line where I passed the next 90 minutes looking at different store personnel hug each other , talk and walk to the back. Hour and 45 minutes in the crowd started talking and complaining with jokes but it got to the point someone called one of the attendants out and asked . She replied am not qualified to do that job u will have to go back online and wait. No attempt to get the "qualified " person was made by her. 25 more minutes a kid came asked for confirmation number and ID 2 minutes later a phone came out. Worse customer experience and service ever. We ask the person handing the phone, why we had to wait for 2 hours to get a product, he replied that's pretty normal. No apologies or excuses just in shock.

We got this really nice rep. A white guy with a long beard, I think his name is Anthony. Very helpful and kind, who would help us transfer data from our old iphone to the new one and he kept checking on us to make sure we were making progress but then he had to leave. So he left this Hispanic guy who sadly wouldn't help us because I believe he heard us speaking Spanish, although he knew we spoke English too. He would check on everyone except us; we ended up spending almost 2 hours there. He was loud and annoying, not helpful at all with people of his own race. Shame on him, didn't ask for his name because he deserves no recognition. Be ready to spend a long time here if you're transfering data from phone to phone.

What has happened to helping the customer and going above and beyond accordingly? The University Dr Apple store has consistently been a difficult store to work with...regardless of the problem. Went in with my wife and mother in law, checked in with one of the red shirt guys, he said there was a 15 min waiting time, after 20 - 25 min, we decided to sat in one of the tables that was inside of the store, they were empty and we have already checked all items in the store. another red t shirt person approached us, and i thought he was going to offer his help, however he said, that those table were not for people that was waiting, but only for people that were going to set up new items, and that i may be asked to move.... but the chairs were empty, no one was waiting for them, and we were in the store waiting to be attend!!!!! not so sure what kind of customer service concerns more of have free chairs than having potential new buyers waiting... particular if you are with a 70+ years older women... he even call the supervisor bc i told them that we were not moving until we received support.. this store is the perfect example of how the brand believes that its product is doing all the customer service they need, and dont care for potential customers..

Hated this place I called and made an appointment and still waited over an hour just for them to try to kick my friend out for no reason and they ignored one of the problems with my phone and said I would have to pay over $300 for a new phone so I took it to CPR (cell phone repair) I paid just $35 and they fixed it perfectly. Disorganized, scattered feeling - not sure where to go for help. It's also way too fancy and showy - too expensive decor for no practical reason - typical Apple, though: all about marketing itself and covering the cost with needlessly expensive and non-user-friendly products. They also wouldn't replace my phone battery because there was a small amount of liquid damage, but used the opportunity to try to sell me an over-priced phone. I bought a better and less expensive Samsung Galaxy instead.

I asked the technician who helped me what my options are and he looked at my phone and said I need to buy a new one. After I purchased a new phone he looked at my old phone and said all I needed to do was empty my deleted items. This late helpful tip was after he deleted all my content. The iPhone help should have come at the beginning, not after all content was deleted and purchasing a new phone. Unsat.

What has happened to helping the customer and going above and beyond accordingly? The University Dr Apple store has consistently been a difficult store to work with...regardless of the problem. I went in recently to ask how to do a password change and was given a three hour wait appointment. Another time I was 5 minuets late and had to be given a new appointment time of which Apple University store was 50 minutes late with no apology. To be seen quickly, after reading this review, go to the number listed and call. The person who answers will NOT be on site but will help you set an appointment or will find you a location that has appointments available. I called the stores number and was directed to apple customer service where I was able to set an appointment. I arrived early and was seen right away. It was extremely crowed but well populated with employees to help everyone. My 1st point of contact was Aly, a pleasant lady who was able to confirm my appointment and then set me up with Mr. Ray. He helped me understand the next step in my visit clearly. I found out I had signed up for some sort of apple protection which resulted in my teen's broken phone being replaced for $99. The process was really smooth. I was next transitioned over to Ms. Deven, a new girl who really knows her stuff. She helped me pick a phone case and glass cover and put them on for me. I never do work well when being hovered over, so I told her I would turn my back to her so that I wouldn't be tempted to interrupt her while she placed the glass protector on my phone. She lined it up perfect. Then I asked another employee a question, Ms. Ashlee, and let me tell you, this young lady is the image of kindness (as well as Deven, Aly, and Ray). The visit went really well and Ms. Devon guided me on learning opportunities that I wasn't aware of. Thanks Devon! Thank you Ray and congrats on the upcoming wedding! P.S. it doesn't matter how Apple responds to this review...what I look for when shopping is good reviews PLUS how much kindness a company shows at unhappy reviews, there's nothing to "make right" with my visit, everything went perfect, I do hope those who had a less than pleasant experience will receive feedback to make things right or at the very least an apology for an unpleasant experience. Experience as far as actually getting my screen replaced was decent, however, the reason for the 1 star, was the fact that I had made an appointment well in advance online, which showed a guaranteed 1 hour/same day fix (for the replacement of a broken screen). I live far from the store, and, upon my arrival, the store appeared very chaotic, messy and busy. I get to the back and they tell me that they can't fix it within an hour or even that day, that I had to come back tomorrow, or I could ship it out, etc. I've made previous service appointments in the past at other Apple locations with no issue, expectations of the promised parameters were met. My irritation is that I made an appointment, and not only was this store not able to withhold its end of the bargain, but also no one called and/or no emails/texts were sent to me to notify me of the change in advance, saving me the time and trip, or perhaps offer alternatives - this would have been a professional and yet easy fix. I seriously refuse to believe that as sophisticated as Apple may be, they have no scheduling system that indicates overload and allow employees/managers to give adequate notifications. I was also contacted by a local employee a couple of days after (didn't say if he was a manager) after I had submitted the post-service survey, and he was completely uninterested in my issue, instead, kept asking me other completely unrelated questions (If I had been greeted and made aware of extra Apple products and services). Employee seemed like he was reading a script, as he kept interrupting me and speaking very fast, sounding very much careless, and perhaps a little clueless as well. I'm not sure if this happens at this store all the time, or if it was a singularity, however, the experience and facts associated with my visit lead me to believe that this store has a poor organization system, management structure and establishing a decent rapport and follow up with their paying customers. I will not return to this location again. Be cautious if you make an appointment here. My suggestion would be to visit other Apple locations if able.

My first horrible experience with Apple occurred today. I went in to get a new watch and phone and they placed them in two separate transactions when I needed it in 1 to make use of my special financing. When I requested we put it into 1 reservation and cart they stated they couldn’t make it happen at all. The manager was extremely unhelpful although everyone was calm and they were not rude to me. It should be a standard thing to be able to move a phone and a watch to one single cart so I can purchase it in one go. I ended up not buying anything and sticking with what I have. Although I could pay cash for both if I gain Apple gift cards and special financing for utilizing my Barclay card why wouldn’t I? Apple dropped the ball on this one and I won’t be purchasing apple devices in the future if something that simple can’t be done for a customer.

I don’t want to give it less than three stars because three of the four employees that I talked to and helped me throughout my two visits today. The reason I can’t give it MORE than three stars is because of the way the employee — who didn’t introduce herself — treated my father. She treated my father like he was a very impaired child. My father is from India, speaks five languages, and has been in America for over twenty years. So, I’m used to that happening occasionally, usually with white women, (that’s just a fact, not a judgment, I come from a long family of wonderful white women lol). What I’m not used to is it coming from an Apple employee. I can’t properly explain the way she, (yes, sadly, a very bad and inaccurate example of a white woman in Texas) treated him in an online review. All I can say is that she did not introduce herself, she did not give the attention and care to helping us as the other employees did, and she spoke to my father in the most patronizing way the entire time. I’ll be returning for an appointment tomorrow, and I hope to get a different employee this time. Every other one of them were kind and charismatic (as Apple employees are so well known for being).

My first time coming to this location, I’ve been to the one in Northpark before and I had an AMAZING experience at the FTW location. I was in and out in 20 min tops. The reason I can’t give it MORE than three stars is because of the way the employee — who didn’t introduce herself — treated my father. She treated my father like he was a very impaired child. My father is from India, speaks five languages, and has been in America for over twenty years. So, I’m used to that happening occasionally, usually with white women, (that’s just a fact, not a judgment, I come from a long family of wonderful white women lol). What I’m not used to is it coming from an Apple employee. I can’t properly explain the way she, (yes, sadly, a very bad and inaccurate example of a white woman in Texas) treated him in an online review. All I can say is that she did not introduce herself, she did not give the attention and care to helping us as the other employees did, and she spoke to my father in the most patronizing way the entire time. I’ll be returning for an appointment tomorrow, and I hope to get a different employee this time. Every other one of them were kind and charismatic (as Apple employees are so well known for being).
