I had a pretty good experience coming here. Had an issue with my iPhone and they resolved it super quickly with a replacement, no hassling since it was still under warranty. Some of the employees are really good and others have terrible people skills. Other then that it was a good experience.

I went there last week because one of my Airpods is not working so the guy who helped me said that he will clean it and come back so when he came back my AirPods were exactly the same I saw a small wax in the airpod which was the only thing needs to be cleaned. After that he offered to order me one AirPod for 69$ and told me that warranty is just for 90 days so I buy a 150$ headphones and when it doesn’t work properly I buy a new ones? I sold that garbage on OfferUp low quality & useless customer service. One of my friends had the same problem and went to the apple store near him and gave him a new one after one year from his purchase so it seems like they have different policies here or something.

Horrible customer service. Went in for a battery replacement on my Iphone 6 and had a terrible experience. When arriving at the Genius Bar there are several Apple employees who walk by you. No one asks if you have been helped or comes up to assist you. It was an extremely long wait. There was no organization in terms of individuals getting assistance. Random people would be helped and sometimes there was 1-2 employees per person. Some did not look like they were doing much of anything regardless, customers were ignored no matter how many times you tried to ask for assistance. By the time we were directed to the right individual he was extremely rude. I was questioned on my IOS updates when all I needed was my battery replaced (FYI I had already received an email stating my battery replacement had already arrived at the location. All thanks to the assistance from an online Apple employee who was extremely helpful.) After getting rudely questioned and nicely informing him that I had already reserved a battery I was told to return in 2 hours. When I returned I waited once again at the Genius Bar where no one assisted us for a good 30 minutes when people were clearly available to assist. Once we were able to acquire assistance we waited once again for my phone because diagnostics were not yet run and they required my apple information once again. So many people who had been their far less time than we had, were able to get their devices and we were only approached after we were the only ones sitting at the table. This was my first time to the Apple Store at this location and I can honestly say not impressed. To summarize the staff was rude, the Apple Employee who provided information on the battery replacements was not well informed and very unprofessional, the wait was long, and the process was frustrating (despite all my preparation before hand). Will not be returning to this location for any assistance on any future Apple devices. I have owned several Apple devices over the years and have had wonderful experiences with the Apple support online. I can honestly say the individuals representing the company at this location was extremely disappointing.

I’ve seen some low scoring reviews for this location, but I had a great experience. It was so packed when I got there but an associate helped me right away. I had a TON of questions and they were helpful to answer them and I ended walking out of there with an Apple Watch I had long awaited for.

Went in to have my MacBook looked at because of battery problems. Was there on Saturday, the lady taking names for appointments was nice. I had to wait two hours so I walked around the mall. Received texts to go for the appointment. As soon as I walked in to see about the appointment a guy with a cap on backwards was extremely rude to me and my friend. We asked about the appointment and he said “no you have to wait to get two more texts” so I said ok but my friend asked why they didn’t tell us it was 4 texts instead? all we need is to know what’s wrong with the laptop. The guy gave a rude response and said “it’s easy you can just do it yourself...” Well if it’s so easy why didn’t they just do it for me as soon as I got there? Hardly any employee was doing anything anyway..never going back

employees discriminate on how you dress!! because I walked in coming from work which I work in construction, and I was kind of dirty, and I was in a rush to buy a gift. So I went with two employees saying to them that I would like to buy the airpods and they walked away from me!! so I decided to go to a different person and I told her the same thing and she told “Do you know how much they cost?” which is something dumb to ask to a customer.

Like everyone says, there are literally apple employees walking around and they see you looking for someone and say nothing, and will even avoid you. There is no friendliness and terrible customer service. Avoid buying anything there, go to best buy or your carrier and buy there unless you HAVE to go there.

Let me preface by saying I used to work at Apple, back in college. Solid job and good pay. I will say getting a job there is hard, it’s a long process and I guess that’s why some employee’s truly think they are to a point “better” than a customer they are SERVING. Saw it all the time at my old store also. In general, your Apple Store experience is very “hit or miss”. It all depends on who you get and how flexible they are to help you out. 3 bad experiences and consistent awful service at this store make it a top 3 worst I’ve ever been too. 1. Lost my AirPod piece, they sell a replacement for $69. No biggie it’s 100% my fault I don’t mind paying to replace. I go to the store, apparently it’s policy you need an apt to replace the piece. As is if the “genius” bar is going to do anything besides tell me I need a new piece and sell it to me. Where is the logic in this??? I asked the person to explain to me and he just got snappy with me and that’s where I say alright and leave. Be more professional at least right? Na not this guy lol. 2. Cracked screen. I go in, 15 min early for my apt. The “genius” bar tech spends 45 min speaking with the previous customer over items not even related to the phone being serviced. When she sees that we are annoyed she promptly realizes she’s taken an hour and fifteen minutes to do nothing and sets our replacement up in 10 min... not even close to the same service but like I said! It’s never the same experience, always depends on who you get. 3. Trade in. I went to trade in old iPhone and upgrade the device. I TOLD the rep please see the camera has a hairline crack. She says no worries and says it’ll still count towards trade in just fine. We ended up not trading because we didn’t know color of the new iPad we were purchasing yet (a gift). We come back next day and a new rep says they won’t accept the trade in! Like dude what the hell! All in all, this Apple Store is very lucky this is only store in El Paso. Why? Because it flat out SUCKS.

Just walked in for questions about problems with my phone. It was suggested that I set an appointment, I did. Wait time was 1 to 1 1/2 hours. 30 minutes later I was having my phone diagnosis done. All the time I was being given information on anything I asked along with suggestions to help out. Not my first rodeo with this store. They are Always top notch and very helpful.

Service was good, they were polite and friendly; they just took way to long to help us, we waited 2 and a half hours yesterday and at the end they made us come back today because they could not reach the supervisor. Today even though we had a scheduled appt already it took them 20 more mins for them to be able to start helping us at the genius section, but once they started they were efficient and helpful.

Love apple. However their costumer service representatives in El Paso, Tx are racist. I Was sitting at the Genius Bar for 40 minute without anyone asking me if I needed help. Every person sitting to my left and my right got helped before me and I was there before all of them except one. They would serve all of the Hispanics before they do the blacks. Guess I'll find someone else to fix my screen next time.

I stayed at the Mall because I live in Las Cruces New Mexico and when I returned at 5pm my phone still wasn’t ready. Currently waiting it’s been an additional 15 more min............

Terrible service!!! Try calling once and you’ll understand my reasoning. I was on hold three separate times for over an hour. The store itself is almost as bad, under staffed and unreasonable wait times. Between Apple phones prior to the 8 having terrible batteries and the customer service I have and have not received my next phone will be google or droid.

IF you ever are in need of apple services for your computer or to fix anything on any of your apple products, expect a VERY long and frustrating process at this location! This Apple store usually has no less than 15 employees on hand and very few people who work in the Genius Bar. They are quick to ask you what you need but rarely follow through. Minimum wait is 30 minutes for anything. 50% of the staff do not know what they're doing. I asked to be shown the features of the new OS 10.8, and the lady was lost. I needed help with my MacBook and was told the earliest they could help me was in 2.5 hours. Could they notify me of any earlier cancellations? "No, we don't do that." Meanwhile, there were about 10 employees wandering around the store doing nothing. I see customers are valuable to this corporation! It amazes me that those people couldn't take over some of the minimal tasks so that those employees who know what they're doing can be freed to help the dozens of customers at the genius bar. I love Apple products, but am serious considering switching over to Windows because of this FRUSTRATING and horrible experience with their customer service.

IF I CAN GIVE THIS STORE A WORST RATING I WOULD GIVE THEM A -1 STAR, THEY NEED A NEW MANAGER Worst store in the usa, literally I went yesterday to make an appointment for today at 10 am when I walked on today they said that I have to make an actual appointment at 10 am wait for 2 hours, they really need a better manager because the one that they have don't do anything about it. They are extremely rude when you ask any question, and this is not the first time that they waste our time, it happened 6 months ago too, apple have great product but costumer service and the store at CIELOVISTA IS THE WORST. I rather send my stuff thru the mail than visiting this store, I recommend to train your employees better because all of them have a different story.

Terrible customer service! Had an appointment, but was ignored for nearly 30 minutes as employees walked about avoiding eye contact. When someone finally offered to help, we were told our appointment was canceled because we didn't check in. Explained we were not able to catch anyones attention. The employee restored our appointment, but said we had to wait, there were others in front of us. Waited another 30 plus minutes, now more than an hour since our appointment time. Saw several people come in with technical issues and receive help right away. Talked to two different managers, and received incoherent explanations as to why walk-ins were taken before people with appointments waiting an hour plus. One we were helped, the technician was polite and efficient However, the store seems poorly run. There is no way to know where you are in line, even with an appointment. They seem to serve customers at random with no rhyme nor reason. Even the managers seemed not to understand their own system.

The Genius Bar service is horrendous. I went to get the battery replaced for my iPhone 6s, and I didn’t even get any service for both of the times I was there. People who came after me got to the service first and left me to wait another aditional hour until we had to tell them we had a reservation. The person in charge went to the back and never returned. Don’t waste your time here, incompetent staff with slow customer service. It’s a shame there’s only one Apple store.

I went into the Apple store a few days ago bc my iPhone 7 was showing "no service" where my carrier usually is. I did all of the trouble shooting and the issue still persisted, so I decided to take it to the Apple store. I went in and was told by a young lady that it was a known software issue with certain models of the 7s (mine was one of those models). I was told they would send it in and fix it for free, but since I had a cracked screen they would need to fix that or they wouldn't work on the phone to repair the software issue. I don't have Apple care so that would cost me $169 that I don't have. Also, they wont work on the phone if it has any 3rd party components so going to a cheap kiosk to get the screen replaced wasn't an option. They are extremely rude when you ask any question, and this is not the first time that they waste our time, it happened 6 months ago too, apple have great product but costumer service and the store at CIELOVISTA IS THE WORST. Terrible customer service! Had an appointment, but was ignored for nearly 30 minutes as employees walked about avoiding eye contact. When someone finally offered to help, we were told our appointment was canceled because we didn't check in. Explained we were not able to catch anyones attention. The employee restored our appointment, but said we had to wait, there were others in front of us. Waited another 30 plus minutes, now more than an hour since our appointment time. Saw several people come in with technical issues and receive help right away. Talked to two different managers, and received incoherent explanations as to why walk-ins were taken before people with appointments waiting an hour plus. One we were helped, the technician was polite and efficient However, the store seems poorly run. There is no way to know where you are in line, even with an appointment. They seem to serve customers at random with no rhyme nor reason. Even the managers seemed not to understand their own system.

The Genius Bar service is horrendous. I went to get the battery replaced for my iPhone 6s, and I didn’t even get any service for both of the times I was there. People who came after me got to the service first and left me to wait another aditional hour until we had to tell them we had a reservation. The person in charge went to the back and never returned. Don’t waste your time here, incompetent staff with slow customer service. It’s a shame there’s only one Apple store.

I went into the Apple store a few days ago bc my iPhone 7 was showing "no service" where my carrier usually is. I did all of the trouble shooting and the issue still persisted, so I decided to take it to the Apple store. I went in and was told by a young lady that it was a known software issue with certain models of the 7s (mine was one of those models). I was told they would send it in and fix it for free, but since I had a cracked screen they would need to fix that or they wouldn't work on the phone to repair the software issue. I don't have Apple care so that would cost me $169 that I don't have. Also, they wont work on the phone if it has any 3rd party components so going to a cheap kiosk to get the screen replaced wasn't an option. I feel like their goal is to have you in a corner with no choice but to come out of exorbitant amounts of money to maintain their product. All of this was for the same problem. The first two times I went, to have the battery looked at, the wait was decent and the staff were very helpful/professional. the third time I went, to actually turn in my MacBook Pro to have the battery replaced, the employee taking names before the store opened told me I would receive 4 texts, only got 2. then, after waiting about an hour I went back up to him and he asked me where I went, I was outside sitting in the chairs. While I was talking with him I received 4 more texts. then I waited over an hour at the genius bar for them to take my mac. Some days are good, some not so much.

This is the worst apple store I’ve been to. Went to get display module fixed under the extended warranty free of charge. They said my iPhone X was bent and they were unable to do the service but would be happy to get me a different phone for 549$. The phone wasn’t bent prior to me bringing it in. I’ve never had any problems with apple until I came to this one. They want to swindle you out of money as much as they can. Go elsewhere

I made multiple calls to get a new battery I was disconnected 3 times. I walked in and they where not able to assist me at the time. I made an appointment with the Genius Bar. The took a small light and determined the water sensor was triggered and they will not change the battery, but if I’d like to purchase a whole new phone they had some. 5:43 I got back my phone from an authorized I phone dealer. Battery changed and surprise no water damage. I guess it’s hard to tell if there is water damage by flashing a camera phone light it the slot your SIM card is inserted into.

Wasted an entire afternoon in Apple. Wife's phone needed a new battery. 3 hours later they say a screw is messed up but will replace the phone. We needed to back up data, and they did not offer any help and were rude. Had to solve all data issues ourselves, including connecting back to the cell phone service provider. They had me come back four different times! My phone wouldn't charge or update. 1st visit I had an appointment and they told me to back up my phone.. Okay no problem so I went home and did it. Next day they sent me home cause I don't have enough storage to back it up and it clearly backed up the night before. So I backed it up AGAIN and they sent me home AGAIN. Finally they switched out my phone after I had to buy storage. These employees are very rude and don't care about any phone issues, more then likely you know more about your device than anyone working there.

The store folks are great! Only 2 vs. 5 stars as the stupid computer who answers the phone is as inept as siri is! It is very complicated to get through to someone in the store. First try to connect to store was sent to oblivion. Second call went to an unanswered phone line which eventually went to oblivion!!

Wish we had another apple store, went in to have camera cleaned out on my IPhone X. First of all it shouldn’t be getting dust/dirt in. Anyways, they took it in, quoted me it will be done in 2 hours. I come back in two hours and was told 15 more minutes. 45 minutes pass by and they are running post diagnostics. Finally get my phone and leave. As soon as I get home I notice the dust in the exact same spots it was in before! Guess they didn’t do anything or opened my phone for no reason.

Second time I’ve visited this location and unable to self-checkout. It gives me an error when using Apple pay or iTunes checkout. Other locations work flawlessly but this location errors out without a reason (WiFi and cellular). When I ask staff they say that it only works sometime without providing any details. Compared to other Apple stores, it’s hard to find available staff every time (they appear to be short handed). Very disappointed in the management of this location.

If I can give this store ZERO stars I would... I went in today because the buttons on my iPhone leather case were ungluing (only had the case for about 6 weeks) the first rep tells me that I have to wait in line to see a genius... I wait... and finally I see rep 2 and she tells me “oh this is something our sales associates can take care of for you” she went on to saying to go back to rep 1 and he can help me replace the case (they have 1 year warranty on craftsmanship issues) THEN I explained to rep 1 the situation AGAIN and he looks lost trying to get someone else to help me!!!! At this point I’m really frustrated... the guys has me waiting for over 30 mins (he could have helped me, he had no customers at all) FINALLY the sales associate shows up and I explain myself again... he doesn’t even look at the case and tells me Oh its wear and tear we can’t replace that. I was so mad I just had to walk out because I was gonna tell him off!! NEVER BUYING FROM THIS STORE AGAIN!! *******UPDATE******** I had to call apple customer service to file a complaint. The person I spoke with over the phone was really nice and understanding and even had me send her pictures of the case. She told me, they should of just replaced the case at the store, because it was defective. So she noted my file for the store replace my case.

I don’t what other people are talking, but this Apple store is the best! I get that some people have other tech problems that were greater then mine, and that’s maybe the reason why it would take longer for them to fix a device. But I got my iPad fixed within a few minutes. The staff was nice and professional, store was well maintained and everything. I especially liked one of the employees that helped me. Again five out of five stars.

When my iPhone battery started to die really fast the changed for free (in warranty) but I the process they scratch the screen and just give me a new iPhone. All I just under one hour. Great service!! But only when there's not Meny customers on the store, like in weekends.

I brought my iPhone and Macbook on two separate occasions to be serviced at this El Paso store. Compared to the superb genius bar customer service at the San Francisco store when I lived out of state, two of the men I have come across at the El Paso store genius bar could certainly use more customer service training. They never introduced themselves and they did not smile when interacting with them. Their attitude was ho-hum and cold. This store is not living up to the high standards of Apple's customer service that I have come to expect. In the future I will just send my products directly to Apple to be serviced rather than deal with this store.
